Mindlessly? Do you know how long it takes for bloodlust to activate? Do you know how long it takes for Bloodlust to activate 3 times?

If you've bloodlusted a killer, you shouldn't be upset at yourself, you've bought your team a lot of time already.

You're not meant to live forever dude, you're meant to die. The actions you do during the chase decide that.

“youre meant to die” my god the cringe. NO YOU ARENT LOL if youre good enough to run someone and live your deserve to live what kind of silly single player fantasy is this

  • @Thatbrownmonster said:

    Tired of bloodlust?

Make the killer break a pallet or stun him with one

Do you think maps will be small like the upper floor of the game? no, they just removing around 2-3 tiles

you will barely notice a difference

also "Honestly tired of killer mains complaining of everything in this game when you still have to work very hard to escape some matches"

Biggest joke ever, survivor can equipe 4 2nd chance perks, surviving is the easy mode

you must be new im actually rolling from this response. stunning doesnt cut bloodlust

Actually, that's exactly what people do. It's why Gen Rushing is a problem and people despise "M1" killers like legion and clown.

those who despise legion are bad

you say that but im trying to play killer and getting constand 0k's vs rank 1 and 2 survivors all carrying meta perks giving them many many chances soooo idk, at this point im thinking camping is a good strat

then get better and learn how to play tiles. its not their fault you cant catch them with decent skill or game sense. and the perks are easy to play around

  • @ZoneDymo said:

They cannot walk out with 30k unless you give that to them going for silly unhook attempts.

If you all just do gens and leave, leaving the 1 person on the hook to die, nobody gets much of anything

which is boring and why camping needs to be looked at. no one plays this game to hold m1 and leave

  • @Raven014 said:

Not every killer should be able to be looped by a braindead survivor. Huntress and Nurse already had to be looped differently, Legion has to be respected as different as well (when healthy).

He has nothing. No instadown, his base speed is 110, his ranged ability can only injure, so his gun is the second nonlethal killer power in the game, as you cannot down with his power alone.

Just learn and adapt. If you did, then Spirit and Nurse wouldn't've been changed, and made worse.

how can he not down you with his power...??? this is the most uneducated troll iv ever seen

Deathslinger is actually pretty weak. Also why should a Killer teach someone how to loop?

    yeah weak if youre bad

  • @BigBubs said:

Camping against swf is probably the best strat.

They just leave gens and try to squad save and it's kinda predictable. You can tell they are swf even without checking their profiles when they try to hook rush with 2 or all 3. A lot of them do.

And I really don't see how camping like that is "toxic".

well duh. normal people want their friends to have fun, they will attempt team orientated saves. no one wants to watch their friend sit on a hook because youre a skilless clown who thinks playing with their friends is OP. maybe get some friends so you can swf and see how you feel when your friend is being camped for little to no reason

  • @MPUK said:

I really couldn't care less about you running NOED. Your perk slot put whatever you want in it.

You camp and tunnel because you refuse to improve at the game. You don't need to make up an excuse, it is just you refuse to try and get better. A large number of the people you are going up against who are red/purple have been boosted there by the matchmaking putting them against rank 15s etc. They aren't actual red ranks, a lot of them will actually be green ranks. You can't just look at a colour and assume they are good players. As that is really not the case.

I can't see how the survivors doing gens and looping etc can be classed as toxic? That's the game you're playing. Standing still next to a hook isn't the game it is the boring, easy way out.

I think it is quite depressing that rather than try and improve at the game, you would rather spend minutes at a time stood still watching and waiting for someone to die, knowing you've ruined their game just because you want to ruin it. You say people gave you crap in post game chat because they beat you. I guarantee you get far more now for being a boring, lazy camping killer but the difference is you WANT that crap, you enjoy the fact you have ruined a game for people and they are pointing that out. I mean the doctor even gives their locations every minute! It is just laziness that you play this way. Just take a break from the game and play again when you can be less desperate for negative attention? Instead of this attitude of - "I want 4 kills but I don't want to put any effort in to learning to beat people. I know, I'll stand still, ruin games for people and make excuses as to why I do it and get a thrill out of being told I'm a piece of ######### in post game chat"

can only blame you know who for still making camping and toxicity possible in 2020. kids like OP will never improve and are an anchor to the progression of this game. should be worth no more than a statistic as a player

what kind of garbage suggestion is that. so i need to wait 25 minutes for the blendette to be finally caught after iv been killed in an asemetrycal game and be forced to stay and not queue again? good thing devs dont listen to this forum

  • its fine. its a survivors reward for completing their objective successfuly, unlike noed where youre given a steroid for doing nothing.

The opposite end of Ebony Mori was actually the insta heal medkits. I think you should get the effects of Cypress and Ivory mori meaning you can kill one survivor after 1 hook and the final survivor by your own hand. But in order to mori the other 2, you need to hook them twice first.

ivory would still get people tunnel mori’d. an offering shouldnt have that much impact on a game period, you throw all balance out the window

  • the last whole patch was killer buffs. take your bias else where and get good

  • @ad19970 said:

Disagree. I really enjoy going against him. And I am very happy that he is an actual, powerful threat now. His counterplay is challenging, but fun in my opinion. I personally also love the atmosphere created by people all going mad and screaming across the entire map. And going against him is a pretty unique experience in my opinion.

I guess if I had to change anything about him, I would increase his shock therapy cooldown after using his shock therapy to 2 or 2.5 seconds. So he can still attack after 1.5 seconds but has to wait slightly longer before he can use his shock therapy again. But I personally think he is a really good spot now and doesn't need any changes.

More importantly, you can never determine one killer who is the most unfun to play against, since different people have different opinions on what killer they enjoy going against and what killer they don't enjoy going against.

this “counterplay” statement of yours is fundementally wrong. his only counterplay is if the player misses shocks or you have calm spirit. thats you being at mercy of the players skill and not skill based. anyone with good hours in the game knows that good shock timings have no counterplay ans loopjg isnt the best option against a good doc

-Power can be avoided at certain loops or structures, making him a 110 M1 killer.

There was also cries for Deathslinger being too weak. Ignored.

There were cries that the breakable wall at Shack completely invalidated the loop. Now the breakable wall is opposite the pallet instead of next to it.

There were cries that new Sabo was too strong. Ignored.

There were cries that Hangman's Trick was too strong. It's been gutted, going from 16 meters to 6 meters.

    🤔 There's a pattern here and I don't like it.

You should upload a clip if it's going through a full wall and report that; as that would definitely be a bug that should be fixed. I assumed you meant when it passes through just the edges of objects; things like rocks and such have square like shapes for hitboxes not the exact pixel for pixel geometry of their forms.

Still, that is just a bug and still a far leap from the earlier statement.

If anything it's easier to dodge than a huntress hatchet because the hitbox is so much smaller than her hatchets are and he has to reload after every shot.

i have a bunch of clips of his harpoon landing through objects and jungle gyms. the hitbox is questionable

clearly you dont read. against a doc with good shock timings u cant drop it early. on relatively short loops 1 moonwalk after doing that gets you hit. youre wrong and a sheep

What on earth, both BBQ and nurses have counterplay, and wanting BBQ nerfed (or distortion buffed to compensate) is a horrible idea as:

    • BBQ is fine with balance and has enough counter-play already
    • BBQ encourages killers to not camp and is probably a big reason why most of the killer player base doesn't camp or hard patrol
    • BBQ rewards you for hooking, and that reward isn't OP as hell (unlike adrenaline)

For nurses it's only powerful on stealth killers, just heal next to strong loops if you think they have it. Of which most killers don't run it anymore.

As KindredMain said, I have to question how you have a problem with these perks, these are not difficult to deal with in a normal match.

adrenaline and bbq are so uncomparable LOL what. and adrenaline is once a game

I've been playing a lot of red rank survivor matches lately and still haven't met single 1 ebony game. Either I'm lucky or the complains about them are over exaggerated. So I'd love to see some stats to know if it's really me beiing lucky or they just aren't as common as people claim they are.

yesterday alone i had 3 in an hour its getting gross

  • @Slival said:

This is normal and intended. It is fully possible to both stun the killer and go down. If in doubt about the timing, drop the pallet early. Window vaults have 3 states/types - slow and quiet (not sprinting, makes no noise) Medium (done without a run-up) and Fast (done with a run up/you hit the vault button while approaching the window)

Slow and medium vaults deliberately have very large hit boxes and you can be hit on either side of the window for a very long time during them. Only fast vaults - the type with a run up - quickly move your hit box to the opposite side of the window. Pallet vaults you're basically always getting a medium vault, hitbox wise, and also its slightly easier if the killer is thinking, to grab you out of a pallet vault.

this is factually not always true. dedi hits are a thing and theres tons of evidence out there due to servers masking horrible ping. majority of pallet hit should NOT have happened

  • @CrassardStreams said:

I've only got a few hundred hours in the game, but yeah. Most games will have survivors clicking flashlights, blinding you on pallet drops and teabagging after pallets and/or at exit gates.

Survivors control the game, they have the power, they dictate the pace by their actions. Killer plays a reactive game (kinda like playing black in chess) and has to seriously overcome the odds and fight for every scrap of "tempo" they can get. It's less about hooking survivors and more about keeping them off gens since they take barely any time compared to what you have to do to win in a round.

Also they seem to love buffing survivors and babying them, and keep handing them tonnes of "second chance" or "save me I ######### up" perks with cooldowns that generally reset once they're hooked (exhaust) and synergies that legitimately break the game (Unbreakable + Decisive Strike + Head On/Adrenaline/take your pick of "lol I can never die")

That being said, the game is still fun when I'm not getting a full team of reds with toolboxes and flashlights or maps and keys.. which sadly is more often than not.

iv got over 3000 hours. no its 100% fine that he came into killer now. i play majority survivor and still have a blast playing killer and i loved the tome challenges for killer too. you kids need to get better. OP just keep practicing you’ll be fine. watch videos and see what big content creators do. i suggest u keep your opinion to yourself until you have atleast 1000

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1074433#Comment_1074433

That's a point I made. Were you actually camped and tunneled? Because if you were Tunneled you would have won easily - since gens would have been done faster, and you can loop a Killer for an entire match on safe loops alone (and every map in the game you can do this). If you were camped, then gens would have been faster and everyone would have escaped with only 1 death. Which the one person with a death would have been given a black pip (single pip if you contributed to the match) for being camped because the emblem system is built that way.

So my point is clear. If you blame that you lost on camping/tunneling - then it's just an excuse that you are convincing yourself not to get better at survivor. Which I've experienced while I was learning, and then once I removed that mindset I became a much better survivor that I can see how much the survivor is the power role.

tunneling isnt the same as camping at all when it comes to gen times #########..? if someones getting tunneled after an unhook thats 2 people off gens extremely decreasing the speed. that does NOT make them bad survivors. survivor is the only real power role once its clear that the killer is mechaniclly weaker than all 4 survivors skill wise.

  • @Blueberry said:

This has absolutely nothing to do with why survivors don't respect killers.

The reason survivors don't respect killers is because survivors are the power role and they don't need to respect them. They are strong enough that they can play with the killer and don't feel threatened.

absolutely not mr.yes man. killers can make gameplay extremely boring with camping and crazy amount of slugging with only minor counterplay. this survivor “power role” only goes with good survivors vsing bad killers. good red rank killers dont have an issue

  • @NullEXE said:

    Survivors.

People's first response to me all the time is "There are toxic killers too", but from my experience, and the experiences I hear of and see from all other people that mainly play Killer - they were not toxic to begin with. It's the constant entitled mentality that Survivors get. Even when I first started playing Survivor I started to get that entitled mentality thinking "I only lost because I didn't get my 3 hooks", or "I only lost because the Killer avoided my DS, or BT", even "Dead Hard is bugged I should of dodged that". Even worse when you are blaming the Killer for Survivor mistakes. Calling a killer a tunneler for performing unsafe saves, and calling a Killer a camper for "proxy camping" or simply including the hook in their patrol - then survivors continue to go for unsafe saves. Blaming the Killer for "cheese tactics" just because they don't know how to counter; slugging, camping, NOED, stalking, or chainsaws/dashes. Blaming the Killer for "tunneling" just because the survivor didn't know how to loop, or perform long chases.

Which all of this mentality stems from the fact that Survivors have so much to their kit - so much to their arsenal to ignore punishment when they make mistakes. They expect the additional chances when they make mistakes. They feel entitled to it. They work hard to get these powerful perks, expecting the perk to carry them through the ranks (that don't even matter), and when it doesn't work that way - they get frustrated and take it out on the Killer.

Now there is an even bigger issue. There are more survivors than there are Killers. Yes the dev's say "statistically most players play both", but that doesn't define the difference of who plays Killer/Survivor more than the other - or Challenges, and Daily's. With that being the case, these entitled survivors have the superior vote when it comes to any - and all decisions made in the game. So while Survivors complain to dev's, and people that make decisions to make the game easier for them - the game goes in a direction that makes it harder to play Killer.

We are now reaching the point where the Dev's finally made the changes Ruin, which were needed, because Ruin - like the half a dozen survivor perks - skew statistics for Killers greatly. Getting back on point, they removed it. Which changed the dynamic of the game greatly for many of the weaker Killers. Forcing Killers who stayed around to play differently: To apply more pressure, to eliminate players faster, and to use alternative methods to remove players from aiding in objectives (slugging). These very same tactics that entitled survivors had the biggest problems with to begin with.

So now you have a group of unhappy Killers, many leaving/switching (que times is proof of this). With groups of unhappy survivors. The immediate reaction? To hide the rank, and introduce a new MMR system that you are supposed to blindly follow and obey. Will that make the game less toxic? NO IT WILL NOT. People will get into end game screen, not be able to see anyone ranks, and immediately assume they were mismatched and become more toxic to each other "You don't belong in this rank", "You're boosted", etc will start to get thrown around, and at the same time people lying about their rank and most other people just never believing a person when they say they are in a certain rank.

Now you can just "Turn off Chat", but I have been turning off my chat - and you wanna know what the game becomes when you turn off chat? Boring. It's absolutely boring. There's no reason to play, there is no reward, there is no one who gives you a "good game". Which made me find out that I keep playing this game for the moments where in the end game screen everyone says gg, shoots the #########, and congratulates each other on a job well done.

So how about we just remove a lot of the extra chances survivors have to try and flat-line the entitled mentality? Well then you are looking at an even bigger uproar then you had when you ruined Hex: Ruin. I honestly don't know what BHVR can do at this point to save the game, and maybe that's what they see too - which is why we have more things to put money into like the rift, and faster cosmetics. That's just speculation.

So anyways TL;DR: The game's biggest issue is the toxcity that is the entitled survivor mentality. It tore this game apart, and made the worst kind of mess for BHVR to clean up, and just by removing it would cause an even bigger problem.

this point is severely anectodal. alot of my new friends that played survivor just got camped and tunneled to oblivion thus making them feel bitter. it goes both ways with new killers too dealing with toxic smurfs. both sides have the toxic issue.

Again unless you're playing at 6 am in the US you aren't playing against killers in Asia. We're 13+ hours ahead. So at 4 pm cst we are going to work. With work hours ending typically 9-10 hours later. Except in Japan where the average is 12 hours. Then there's commute back home, eating, family stuff, then finally playing.

Is it because you see boxes? My friends in the US all have Korean and Japanese characters for their names because they're kpop stans and weebs.

The time differences make this so hard to believe. If you think your wait times are bad try us servers at 5 am cst.

You are more than likely playing against locals with bad internet because the internetmarket is the worst in the US. My phone using metropcs would load videos faster at 720 then my desktop would at 240. It was such a issue I used my phone to download things over night because that was faster then using my$100 internet connection.

i play alot with my friends/stream during the night. easily between 2-3 am. trust me i know the difference
