@TheHourMan I know about the counters, if thats what you mean, but I just hate how this community just sees a killer like legion and says "Oh a killer with no hit recovery, oh look no counter" even though legion possibly has more counters than the community thinks

Survivors disconnect on legion, don't know why though, maybe because they don't want to face a killer that is countered (Ask me why and I am willing to type a paragraph on the legions counters) fairly easily

Good looping actually does require skill. Its why its reccommended you go after people who are ######### loopers, because they’re much more likely to waste pallets like they’re nothing and clear the map, ntm go down almost instantly. Devs have added so much ######### in order to help a killer player with looping if it’s that much of an issue. Its not an exploit and its been in the game since near launch, its not going away any time soon.
As for Legion, he’s braindead and so are all the people who defend him.
Brain dead...the most used word in here now because 90% of those who hate legion have tunnel vision and cannot see that he has several counters

I found a Nea crouched by a hook as hillbilly, I sat there for about 30 seconds just reving my chainsaw (last survivor) and down them, I proceed to turn around really slowly
The other one is when I got hooked a the Michael slowly turned around into my camera, and nodded his head, it was hilarious

While your idea sounds reasonable you're forgetting about the liscenced survivors as well as how such an event will work.
Last event offered cosmetics and folks were whining about the grind.
Additionally, you don't need to have a cosmetic to announce your presence or experience. Folks achievements have dates so if people actually care about how long you have been playing they can just look at those.
Licensed survivors I believe are not getting cosmetics anytime soon (Unless Paulie Esther is right and there is licensed cosmetics coming by the end of the year) and this wont be as much as a grind (I believe it was prestiging that gave you the cosmetic in the legacy event) due to now a good percent of the community has p3 survivors as the newer un-licensed survivors @Peasant

This game is estimated to last for 5 more years, Legacy could be added into the newer characters to make players currently be capable of knowing "Hey, I played during year 3 of dbd" and have proof of this, why I said year 3 is this event could occur as the anniversary event, so its exactly year 3 and the original legacy could get like, color changes to them @Peasant (god I hate doing @ and not just quoting)

So people can be happy, you need to play legion to learn there counter
Legion: Faking out vaults work on legion, exhaust perks "slightly" work but not long, Legion is NOT countered by dead hard, they can swing right through it, Legion is countered by precise pallet stun timing as well, take it from a legion main, these work well

They still give affects and feel like more of a grind to get, if you were allowed getting NOED already at tier 3, that would be an issue
