In case people didn't know, way, WAY back in the first plays of the game, THE KILLER WAS TRASH!!! They were way slower, slower vault, everything. There were WAY more windows and ######### for survivors to leap through.So shut up and stop complaining about "OP" killers. They were buffed FOR A REASON.
PigMaineClaudette is right, all these nerfs need to stop.

To remove Hatch standoffs.
Survivors would not go for the hatch if the Killer was there, and the Killer would not attack, or he'd miss the chance to grab.
Now, whoever finds the hatch first, wins.
Killer? Close it!
Survivor? You got away!
You can do gens, or go find a door. If they just stand there on the hatch then that is a really, REALLY dumb play. Due to egc hatch standoffs don't happen. Killer finds hatch and closes it, good for them. Survivor finds hatch and jumps in, good for them. Survivor jumps in hatch while killer is riding their ass defenseless in stopping them, good fo... wait that don't sound right.

Tunneling and camping aren't issues. I understand the post though. You are frustrated, but honestly, camping is one of the worst things a killer can do. It is a guaranteed 3+ completed gens if done in the start of the game. The only issue I see is when the hooked survivor suicides out of frustration and kills the advantage that was given to their teammates. There are perks that you can us that will help you in camping and tunneling situations. Use them and increase your chance of escape. But hey, I get it. It is frustrating when I get tunneled and camped.
Yeah but most the time your teammates are too incompetent to understand "Hey, I'm free to do gens now, the killer ain't moving". I've never gotten past rank 10 because of this. And since camping is so prominent now maybe a perk can be made that allows a survivor to get borrowed time when they unhook themselves, If the killer has stood there for too long and it's only two survivors left. Or maybe make it to were you can't get downed RIGHT OFF the hook. Maybe a second or two after. Give them at least a 2% chance of escaping after unhooking yourself.
-
@HellCatJane said:
I'd like to also point out that the definition of camping does get "cloudy". Like killer being around the hook with survivors obviously in the area, or chasing a survivor etc. Stuff like that isn't actually camping, nor should it punish the killer in my opinion. You'd have to take into account these things when thinking of punishments etc.
Yeah, but the tune is different when there is no one around, killer can instadown you, and is basically sucking on your knee caps with how close they are. There needs to be a fix for this, and a good one.

Welp that's your fault just wait for it to appear on the shrine
But still, if the survivors are incapable of making the killer unable to play, then why is the killer able to?

@terumisan said:
What if you used comradare
Don't have, don't even have Steve. I don't really buy survivors because there is really nothing special about them.
-
@Revansith said:
Hmm that seems deserving of a reduction in the number of completed rift tiers or worse, a complete reset of Tome 1 with all rewards confiscated.
Nah that would be too nice. Maybe a full account reset.
-
@Revansith said:
Oh then a griefer is not very sporting. Leading the killer to another survivor purposefully seems just wrong. I recall a match today where a survivor was pursued by the killer upstairs to where I was. I noted I couldnt heal them and the only option I had being healthy was to offer myself to the killer as a hit while the other player escaped. I am convinced the survivor had no idea I was actually up there.
Yeah I was spectating after I died. They were legit luring the killer to other survivors.
-
@Revansith said:
Wait... what about a match where two survivors disconnect within the first minute and the killer feels bad so allows the remaining two to earn some bloodpoints by allowing them to complete objectives while they hurry about the map looking purposeful.
Yeah but it's kinda a different story when a survivor has a perk that let's them see injured survivors and then runs next to the killer in their direction. Remember, me and another survivor were tunneled the whole match, and once we were dead the last 2 survivors and the killer started farming. It would make sense if there were multiple bloody party streamers, but there wasn't.

Well, an ancestor of hers used a katana. The katana is missing from the sword stand. Spirit uses the Wakazashi. High chances it's going to be an ancestor of hers, the first Yamaoka. also the mask belong to her ancestor.
Edit: the ancestor was a male.

The serum expires 2 weeks after the rift closes
Oh ok, thank you.

@Crazy_John said:
The second Tome is set to release on Nov 13, and every tome afterwards is 2 weeks apart. So about 5 more days before the Second Tome is set to release.
And how much longer until putrid serum expires?

i think that would make maitenance/balance of legion extremely hard to keep up with, especially if they all had different addons. would be cool though
No, I mean being able to swap between them in a match. It would be more unique and would make more sense for them. Like the op said, they are a gang but you only see one of them at a time.
-
I agree. Maybe have each individual legion member do something different. Also the way Legion was shown in the trailer makes no sense with their ability either, in the trailer it shows the legion running alongside a survivor. The legion was pretending to be a survivor in the trailer, but in game it's just pretending to be a killer.

That would make the red tombstone useless, bypass the slow movement speed restrictions, and the amount of stalking required to activate.
Then remove one or the other. A better addon could replace it.
-
I like the idea. Might actually make me use the perk.
-
"The purple tombstone piece will end T3 even if you use the red hair addon."
That is so stupid. It should still work either way.
-
Imma guess purple was bad choice, even though the only difference I see is that red makes you slower.
-
Are those already out on console?
-
Wraith, I stop trying to kill survivors and instead try to screw with them. Like standing in front of a door lever while invisible and watch them act confused. Or maybe find a one man only gen and stand in front of that.
It's more fun when you aren't trying to kill them, less stress and pressure put on you.

There was an attempt at bringing it to VR a while back and it was in first person, but it was very nauseating and difficult (big surprise) so they abandoned the idea.
Honestly I did think of making this post vr related. But I realised that yeah, it would be very nauseating. So I decided to make it about a first person option
-
Downing and hooking everyone in the first few minutes because they didn't know how Myers worked when he came out.
-
Shhhhhhhhhh. these are trade secrets
-
I'm all for new stuff in the tutorial. Hell in the killer tutorial YOU DON'T EVEN GET TO USE THE KILLER'S ABILITY!! There needs to be a tutorial for each killer.

i am slightly unnerved every time i hear the demogorgon screech from across the map. Also if you care about pips then you're doing it wrong. There's next to no point to ranking up aside from achievements, but if you got them then no point other than a harder challenge maybe.
Sooooo no opinion on the rest of the post?

I mean, Undetectable does not stop Spine Chill and Premonition. So changing his current Status to Undetectable will indeed make him affected by Spine Chill and Premonition.
Would also say that this should be reverted. While I feel that those Perks should not be affected by Undetectable, Tier 1 Myers should ignore them, since it is crucial for him to get out of Tier 1 ASAP.
Honestly though how many people really run those perks? Everyone I've seen is running a "Get everything done quickly" build.
-
I just went through the patch notes, It doesn't look like that is a thing. The only thing about Myers is that he gets the undetectable status effect in tier 1.
-
You can spend 1000 auric cells on the pass, and if you complete it you get a total of 1000 auric cells by getting to the last level of the pass. If you managed to complete the pass then you basically got all the cool stuff FOR FREE!
-
Sooooo certain keys can't unlock things? One of their MAIN functions?
-
So basically she's like everyone else? Thats TERRIBLE.
-
@BigBubs "People like OP don't know what they are talking about"
Me saying my opinion means I don't know what i'm talking about? I don't like playing as/against Nurse, I might like playing as/against her now though.
So what am I ignorant too? Could you elaborate on that? What don't I know?

only omega blink was OP basekit was fine
She is pretty op at low ranks. Especially in the right hands (Which happens way too much)

Catch up ? Are you on drugs .. catch up with a killer who's movement speed is lower than the survivor's speed ? AFTER you self stuned ?
Is it REALLY that big of a difference?
It probably ain't, I don't really know because she seemed too easy for me, no challenge or strategy required. Never bothered playing as her.

After she hits you fatigue + cool down + survivor sprint = good luck tryna find them again
Sucks she has to rely on add-ons now like every other killer. Wah. If you are a good killer you should have no problem tracking the survivors.
Edit: It's only a 3 second blink cooldown, that is plenty of time to catch up to them and blink at a loop.

This is a video game. What do you expect? Being upset over a tv show being cancelled?
That is not valid point. A tv show being cancelled means exactly that, it's cancelled. You can still play nurse. People are crying because they can't 4k every match anymore. Get a better comparison please.
-
@ShadowRain said:
After destroying her they should at least give her 115 speed
That would be dumb given that she can still get you through walls. That would be like giving huntress 115% because they gave her a cooldown between hatchets.
-
Wow, everyone is upset over a video game character. Shameful.
-
Thats the thing, I don't run obsession perks. It makes me a worse survivor if I have to rely on a perk to survive.
-
So taking away the aura is a nerf to her how? It makes to where they can't take it off in less than a minute. They spend more time looking for the box and less time on gens. It's really a buff. @Peanits
Edit: Nevermind, just saw your explanation for it.
-
I like chapters that are done well.
-
@Mr_K said:
It's probably the only way they can properly refund offerings and addons in the current game state.
Ok now THAT, is a valid reason. I can understand that being a reason. Thank you for that.

@Carpemortum said:
If it didnt go to the endscreen, you wouldnt know which person disconnected, be able to report them, OR have the game know which one disconnected internally.
It's a two button push and MAYBE 30 seconds of your life.
It's really not an issue.
If you cant spare 30 seconds, maybe dont waste time on a game to begin with.
Why would I care who disconnected? Recently learned reports don't really do much, also why report them if their game might have crashed.
-
@Dr_Loomis said:
You can't...but you should be able to.
Maybe there should be a perk called 'Desperation' that allows you use syringes and keys whilst dying.
Hey now there's a neat idea.
-
All I can say is that I'm useless at red ranks.

I feel like if I say "you should be able to jam a syringe into your arm while you are crawling on the ground," we're going to be going around in circles.
True. But was at it at least possible at SOME point? I'm curious if I have been THAT blind this whole time.
-
If you don't have balanced landing it is ill advised to fall from a ledge. You get slowed down a LOT.
-
@TAG said:

The key requires you to be standing, though?
You should be able to open something on the ground while you are crawling on the ground.
-
@TAG The syringe requires a medkit, my point still stands.

@TAG said:

I mean, what stops a Survivor on the ground from jamming a syringe into their arm or something?
That would go against the mechanics of getting helped up.
