You said "Firs Aid Sprays? They cure infection now? Why isn't that just a perk for the damn MEDIC you guys got?"
The devs have stated they don't want perks that specifically counter a killer power. That's the reason why old small game, which could detect traps from hag and trapper, was changed.
-
You want a perk that counters a killer power? Are we back in 2016 with old small game?
-
Everyone would have just slotted in a 5th meta perk into the standard meta build
-
4.4 m/s while cloaked? Are you insane? Wraith should move at 1 m/s when cloaked and I also think that he shouldn't be invisible, having no terror radius is already so op he doesn't need anything else.
Also, it takes way too long to lightburn him. I'd say a click should be enough.
Also also there needs to be a bigger penalty when he gets stunned or lightburned. I think a 15 seconds stun is fair.
-
I genuinely think that they had good intentions and wanted to buff the perk but vastly overestimated to power of silent actions and attached a downside that is way too harsh to balance that.
-
According to some people, the game has been dying since 2016.
-
This extremely unfair for some killers and barely impacts others. For example, why would ghostface care if nightshroud is on cooldown? Meanwhile oni could lose a game by losing the entire rage bar.
-
Because of the "bP EcOnoMY"
-
Tinkerer:
Whenever a Generator is repaired to 70 %, you benefit from the following effects:
- Triggers a Loud Noise Notification for that Generator, revealing its location.
- Grants the Undetectable
- Status Effect for the next 12/14/16 seconds.
Tinkerer can only trigger once per Generator per Trial.
Damn, I didn't know pinhead's power does this as well. I tried it out today and it didn't notify me of any gen progress. Should I make a bug report?
-
The synergy it would have with CoH and medkits would be too good. You'd basically escape every chase, heal up and recharge lucky break. It was already a nice perk before the healing buff and I think it's really solid now, so there's no need to buff it even more.
-
If their goal really had been to decrease the grind, then they would have done that.
Truth is, the grind reduction is meaningless because they increased the grind in other areas. Prestige tax, no bonus bp from BBQ and wglf and the incentives, which they said would balance this out apparently won't always be at 100%, increased bp caps without changing score events, meaning only farmers will ever hit those caps.
In the name of the oh so important "Bp EcONoMy" we are bound to suffer forever. I mean god forbid I earn enough bp to buy one whole bloodweb in one trial
-
If you want a speed boost after an unhook, use sprint burst
-
It's only too dark on haddonfield and garden of joy because those maps are already quite dark, otherwise it's fine
-
I think mmr is a bit... off. Like, I'm by no means a good survivor, but I'm getting paired with "baby survivors". They crouch at the edge of the map and get into lockers when they hear a terror radius.
So yeah, it's worse, but it's more because of my teammates than the killers.
-
4 second ds (because I doubt they'll completely undo the nerf)
Thanatophobia nerfed back to 4% per stack but works on booning as well
Increased hook timer to compensate for longer gen times
Hard cap for healing/repairing speeds. For example, self healing caps at X seconds and can't get any faster while gen times cap at Y seconds and can't go any slower. Not sure about the exact numbers that would work.
I know the devs have said they won't give kindred for free, but something similar should be considered. It wouldn't benefit swf in any meaningful way but help solos tremendously.
Keep the incentives at 100% at all times (once they are reintroduced), otherwise bp gains are garbage.
-
I farm challenges like that. Survivors are really cooperative when a new tome comes out.
-
Pokemon. Charlotte as Ash and Victor as pikachu (we need "power" skins)
-
The stagger duration is intended, otherwise a lot of high vault places would turn into semi infinites.
-
Iron will nerf was necessary.
Ds nerf wasn't.
Also they said they are looking at the volumes of different grunts of pain so that Bill isn't 10x louder than Meg while Ace basically has iron will for free
-
Please elaborate why iron will was soooo important that the game is going to be unplayable without it
-
I can't speak for everyone, but BBQ used to be on literally every build I had. Now I don't use it anymore.
-
I'm just scared that instead of nerfing thanatophobia they nerf legion and plague. Those two don't deserve nerfs because of a stupid perk
-
Why would I use stbfl if I can just use leatherface?
-
If a player has to crutch on spine chill to beat stealth killers, who are all basic m1 killers, then they either need to get better game sense and looping skills or use premonition.
-
Tome challenges. Some are fun and some are pain but I always have a goal besides escaping.
-
Dredge. The sheer sex appeal that is literally oozing out of it is almost too much to bear. With an (eldritch) god-like body and supernatural charm, I am surprised why they didn't include it.
Second and third place go to nemesis and demogorgon respectively. One is a bioweapon that could destroy me any day of the week and the other is a literal beast. Hopefully not just in the game but also in the sheets.
-
I need to farm as many bps with bbq as possible to p1 as many characters as possible so I'm currently playing all day long
-
The perk is pretty much unchanged, so no. It should have worked on a token system where you gain a token either for every hook you got or every totem still standing when noed activates.
-
Funny thing is, way back when the new survivor animations where introduced, the devs added a turning animation to stop survivors form literally snapping their ankles in order to turn in an instant. As you can probably imagine, the outcry from spinners was so loud that those animations were removed.
-
shadow step and knockout. Luckily you never see those being used
-
Agreed. Trickster should only have a knife carry capacity of 12. The GOOD tricksters will barely notice this minuscule change but all the knife spamming and missing GARBAGE tricksters will finally need to git gud or better yet play a REAL killer
-
Vocal minority says yes. It's always the same. Something gets changed in the game and side X claims that all X mains are going to leave which will give side Y infinitely long queue times. Queue times are always dependent on region and time of day, so while you will have long killer and short survivor queues during the day, the situation is reversed in the evening, night and early morning.

@YOURFRIEND said:
They increased the BP cap then added a tax if you want to keep spending BP every fifty levels. Just bumbling aimlessly around.
It's because of "THe Bp EcONoMy"
-
Yeah, they should have nerfed med kits instead of botany knowledge

Hex bestie offer perk Ideas or stop commenting please like just contribute Ideas not negativity please
Fine, if balance isn't important, I present: emergency teleport for survivors and omnipotence for killer
Emergency teleport:
if you have been in chase with the killer for 3/2/1 second, press E to teleport to the place on the map hat is the furthest away from the killer. Emergency teleport has a 5 second cooldown
Omnipotence:
the auras of all survivors within 64/96/128m of you are revealed to you. While not in chase, you gain 50% haste. While in chase with a survivor whose aura is revealed to you, the survivor becomes exposed.
As you can see, both of those perks are incredibly fun and I hope the devs consider adding them to the game because I believe it would really improve the gameplay experience for both sides

Im saying killers and survivors should get fun perks baby girl but you obvs hate fun and have never had it in your life so respectfully please disengage with this thread you are like being a dark cloud and bestie this is dbd balance does not exist
But the entire reason why we don't still have old OoO or old MoM is because while those perks were "fun" for survivors, they were incredibly frustrating and downright broken when going against them as killer, same with old undying. A perk that is fun for one side should not be a horrible experience for the other side. This is why balance is important and while I do agree that dbd isn't the most balanced game, simply because it is asymmetrical, there is no reason to make it even more unbalanced by creating broken "fun" perks for one side that the other side can't really do anything about.

Old Object was fun you could have super fun chases with it but people cried about it and the devs gave In lets make dbd fun again K
old OoO was broken in swf and that's where it was used. The nerf was needed as nearly infinite aura reading on the killer that could be shared with your teammates on comms was incredibly broken
-
Bamboozle for survivors? So god windows just become solid walls? Great idea, surely this perk wouldn't be played exclusively with ichorous loam or strode realty key offerings to create infinites
Also what do you count as "stun damage"? If this includes stuns from perks, you might as well delete head on, ds and blast mine and if you only count pallet stuns then you just created enduring 2.0

no bestie it would be a new mechanic you would literally see through the killers eyes it would be a super cool and new mechanic and it is going to be a perk Im like kinda psychic
gives perfect information about the killer's location and where they are headed and can be activated by the survivor. Sounds like old OoO but the killer doesn't even get to see you to know that it's in play.
-
so old OoO but slightly different? no thanks

They do.

The descriptions currently include the default 100% regression speed, so knock 100% off of each, add what's left, then add that back to the 100% base speed for the total amount. In this case, running both would give a maximum of 300% regression speed (3x faster than normal).

They do stack - not sure on the math though
Thanks for clarifying

they literally just published a list of changes from the ptb based on player feedback
-
I want a huge spider. Not a humanoid spider like creature like in that one archive cutscene, just a really big spider.

Spine Chill is still going to be strong against Myers and Ghost Face. Which are the killers are got destroyed the most by it.
yeah that's what bothers me as well. Instead of the line of sight change they should have changed it so that undetectable killers are unaffected

Wait they actually buffed bloodlust?

well seeing how their design philosophy for new maps involves copious amounts of god windows and god pallets I guess they do want to encourage blood lust gaming
-
Ds used to be 3 seconds. That was how it was meant to be I assume. Then enduring was buffed to reduce stuns from perks. This caused ds to receive a buff to counteract that change. Then enduring lost that secondary effect, yet ds wasn't reverted for some reason. Now we are back at the beginning with both enduring and ds having their old values back

Floods of rage isn't bad but it needs to be on a killer that can immediately react to the auras, like nurse or huntress
Grim embrace doesn't have a bad effect per se, but the numbers are too low. Going out of your way to hook every individual survivor should have a bigger pay off than what it has now.
-
Hag is actually very good, but she play unlike every other killer. She is not chase focuses, but rather requires strategic placement of traps to catch survivors. This play style isn't for everyone so you don't see a lot of hag players
