Jif you are getting pallet looped by multiple Sb survivors that means you are running in circles with them. It takes 40 seconds at least*well it took* for the exhaustion to wear off.ShrimpTwiggs said:@HeroLives said:

Sprint burst was and is fine. Lay off SB. Like runiver said it only needed to be tweaked. Where it only triggers during a chase. Also if you’re chasing the same survivor for over 40 seconds what are you even doing with your life?
The problem isn't the chase. It's that it almost completely negates some killers' core abilities, like Wraith, Freddy, and Pig, putting them at a massive disadvantage, especially since these killers already have a hard time with pallet looping. SB definitely isn't fine and needs a nerf. I like the idea of having a delay, where you need to run a few seconds before it activates or the speed is a gradual increase. The way it is now, it needs to be altered.
It only lasts 3 seconds, you’re faster than a survivor all the time except those 3 seconds. SB works as intended. To give the survivor some space because it’s not like a couple of those killers don’t have increbidle sneak lunges cough cough pig. Or they don’t have the advantage of sneaking up on you. Most of those killers perform just fine, or perfectly in lower ranks. You know which killers are good for higher ranks with pallet loopers and very skilled sprint bursters, that would be billy, and nurse. Lower ranks sprint bursters are fairly easy to catch up to if you can figure out where they are going if you don’t chase right behind a survivor the entire time they will make mistakes and go in a direction to get away .you can catch up with them so avoid going right behind them and cut around avoiding pallets. Otherwise you’re just feeding right into their plan. Sb is fine.
There are a few problems with your comment. The first is, those three seconds are what kills ambushes, which the pig and wraith rely on so that point doesn't stand. If that's what SB is intended to do, which it's not, then it still needs to be nerfed because it breaks those killers in the knees. SB is to put distance between the killer and the survivor, not crush ambushes. Besides her sneak lunge, what does the Pig have to help her in a chase? Nothing whatsoever, so she NEEDS the lunge to work to get an upper hand. Negating that severely crushes her, especially since her and Wraith are already countered by premonition and a pretty loud obvious sound plays when she lunges, which hurts her further. The Wraith also has nothing to help him in the chase, so he relies heavily on that ambush. He already has to uncloak to hurt you. Taking that ambush away from him leaves him severely disadvanted because he also has nothing to help him in a chase. The same can be said for Freddy. Sure, these killers are faster than the survivors but they are already weak against pallet looping, can't apply good map pressure so they're open to genrushing, and are countered by Premonition. SB is overkill on its own without all these other factors because it negates their core abilities. Another problem with your statement is the point "every killer performs fine at lower ranks." Balancing the game around people who don't know how to play that well is an awful idea. Saying SB is fine because it doesn't work well in lower ranks is like saying Decisive Strike is fine because it doesn't work well in the lower ranks. It's a bad argument. Another problem with your statement is that you point out Hillbilly and Nurse being good in the higher ranks. That's true, but what about the other killers? Should we just ignore the fact Wraith, Freddy, Hag, Pig, and Myers are left in the dust by SB when they are already weak against looping, genrushing, and pallets? Another problem with your comment is "they will make mistakes" and that's one of the biggest problems with most killers. They have to rely on the survivor to mess up to catch them. If SB stays the way it is, Wraith, Pig, Myers, and Freddy won't be able to punish a survivor for the mistake of having their guard down. It's a Get Out of Jail Free card that crushes ambush killers and prolongs chases way too much. It needs a nerf.

Is pallet looping frustrating , yeah. I won’t deny that. I’m saying it’s one of the only real perks survivors have against killers who can sneak up and ambush unless you’re running premonition or something like that, like you said. That’s more of a warning though instead of a crisis helper.
It’s the survivors job to look around and not get ambushed. It’s the survivors job to run from a killer. The goal is to survive.
I thought decisive strike wasn’t fair to killers, too op. It needed that nerf. Self care needed the nerf too. It was too op being able to heal while being chased.
Sprint burst exhaustion was the wrong nerf it should of been where it activates a little bit into a chase, I agreed with that. I’m saying it’s a needed perk and it was fine , it just needed tweaking.
There’s nothing wrong with my points. Not all killers m.o. is the same. There’s no reason that Myers, Freddy, hag, pig , or wraith should have map control like billy or nurse. That’s ridiculous.
Also they are upping hags tactics so if used right then she should be a real pain as a survivor to go against.
Freddy needs a re-work.
The pig is fine. Yes she does make a sound when lunging but you also don’t know that’s happening until it’s happening.
My point is Sb isn’t the reason you’re getting pallet looped. Sb is a problem with ambushing but only when you nail the target and they trigger Sb at the same time bc the speed stacks which is the only reason I agree with runiver. Besides that one thing Sb is fine and was fine. You don’t have to like my opinion but it what it is. Sb only issue is the stack from the first hit speed and Sb trigger but that only happens if both are triggered at the same time. Do you understand? Or do you just want survivors to not be able to run faster than you for 3 seconds? Or be able to runaway without an advantage of any sort?
sb is fine the only thing that needs to be fixed is when it’s triggered. Which is why again I agree with runiver.
I promise if they just fixed that alone every killer would be so much happier, and survivors too. Ya know unless they were using the exploit I pointed out. That’s the only time it is op.

When I play survivor and I’m running bond and I see other survivors hook rush and all get downed I’m like ######### did you think was going to happen? It sucks to be me when this happens especially in early game or middle, but mostly I find it hilarious. You see the most insane things other survivors do when running bond.
-
Stealth for sure, mainly Bc I’m not that great at evading and juking. You die a lot less by sneaking around and only running when necessary. There has been so many times I get over looked by killers by simply being stealthy instead of running every time I hear a terror radius.

No I didn’t notice. What are they?
It’s a pink 60’s style jacket for Claudette, some patches shirt on Jake, new shirt for nea that’s yellow. Maybe more but that’s what I’ve noticed. If they aren’t new then they just randomly appeared the other day on my game, and I didn’t have them before.

The unsafe hooking Starbucks Claudette’s, you know the ones.
-
I get why killers camp . It’s the same reason I avoid getting in chases as a survivor ,I can’t win them.
-
I’d would like to see how a ptb would play out with a perk that killers can use that grants 10% reduction to speed of gens for survivors each time the killer hooks someone effects last idk 30-60 seconds? It would give an incentive for killers to chase as well as slow down gen rushing.
The survivors could get a 5-15 second speed increase to running while a survivor is hooked perk.
It encourages killers to chase ,and survivors to be chased.
Just thoughts I really don’t care. I think the game is fine for the most part. I think there should be buffs on both sides instead of nerfs. If you don’t like the way things go change your playstyle or use perk builds to support your playstyle.

Hey survivor are you the last one left Bc I want you in my hatch.

Hey survivor is that a flashlight in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Yo shoutout though to the killers who don’t camp, tunnel, and respect the 4%! you’re the reason I don’t pallet loop , use flashlights, or tbag. If I find flashlights in a chest I burn them out and use them up purposely so others can’t use them against you.

We must tbag our teammates as it displeases the entity.

Survivor the last 2 days has been a real hoe on console too.
-
Same but I thought I’d ask to be sure. If it did I was going to consider running it. Maybe they’ll come out with a hangman perk that allows you to hang for an extra 5/10/15 secs or something to either buy yourself or your team some time. You can probably run slippery meat though with a luck offering and drastically increase your chance of getting off the hook, but that’s some risky business.Linkdouken said:Thanks for asking, I wondered that too but sort of presumed it didn't -

I personally like bond more than empathy Bc if an injured player is close enough you see them as well as everyone else.Runiver said:Empathy, obviously.
Bond can help, too.Ironwill is also quite a mandatory perk for stealth players.
Leader is also a great perk for quicker gen times when working with others. Goes great with bond.
We are going to make it
ya know if you like going in for saves it helps unhooking faster
borrowed time comes in great for close camping killers. You know the ones that don’t face camp but proximity camp and still have time to get you or them. It makes it where for a limited time you and the person you unhook are untouchable basically.
For evasion
sprint burst though killers don’t really like it. It honestly only lasts 3 seconds though with a long exhaustion even at tier 3. So I can see why you like lithe more.
urban evasion is great for crouch walking fast without setting off crow alerts.
i agree with runiver iron will is great for stealth. -
As much as I hate playing against the pig Bc of the way people play her ;she’s a stealth killer. Every killer is different. I think a lot of peoole seem to ignore the fact that each killer has their own style. They are all different. If you don’t play to her advantages as a killer you’re not going to have a good time. It should be harder to blind her she has a huge mask on.
Also the reverse bear traps are hard enough to get off assuming you don’t get recaptured and hooked again before you can get it off or the timer runs out Bc on a larger map it’s difficult especially with an observant killer. By this I mean if you have a lot of survivors running around trying to get bear traps off you can bet they are going to be at the boxes trying to get them off. As soon as someone completes a generator the timer starts on the trap. Trying to be one step ahead of your opponent and think what would I do if I were a survivor and that will help you out a lot. If you play to a killers advantages and pick a killer that fits your play style then you will have a lot more fun.
I think that a lot of people try to play killers to things that aren’t the killers strengths , and I like solving problems so maybe an item in a killers bloodwed(you could make it a rare item) would be that you could swap powers for a single trial with another killer and use their perks/play style to the character that you aesthetically like but it be to their “origin”
example lets say you are playing the Freddy but you hate the way the dream world gets entered you use the doctors power of “shock treatment” but instead of shock it’s the dream world but it activates the same way.
Or or you like the pigs crouching stealth but you love Michael Myers you could opt to swap and instead of stalking and going evil within then you could crouch and ambush instead.
Like I said it would have to be an unlockable through blood web that you could use every now and then otherwise the survivors would just be completely f’d up all the time. Because as a survivor you rely on knowing how a killer operates to be able to try and counter.
I think it would shake things up a bit.
-
Okay but even though Jake skipped out on you, you still did the things like a real survivor

I think it would balance gen rushing Bc if I see gens are hexed I’m going scavenger hunting for the totem. Which only delays me and my team for a little while. I can only imagine against higher ranks. So like a must destroy 3/3 to break the curse. Oh and if they go unbroken killers get points for spellbinding or something. Since when you run hex you have to protect totems, gens, and hook up survivors. I just think it would make hex perks more fun for everyone killers and survivors. Also it would give the killers a real chance when running those perks.
i gripe about this Bc it’s way to easy and I know they use perk slots for it. I feel like an asshat of a survivor when it gets destroyed quickly Bc I don’t want to ruin their fun so quickly but I have to do what I have to do as a survivor to survive. -

Why do survivors stand there and let you hit them before exiting? That’s like a gg in a way. You get survivor found points , and hit points for it as a killer. I’ll let the killer hit me once before I leave especially if I know they got destroyed by the team, or as a gg thanks for not camping us.I don’t tbag though.
-
I think t bagging is just a thing. It’s like a hey man, or a tease depending on if you’re being trolled . Survivors t bag each other all the time. Play as one you’ll see. So idk depends it’s either a hey what’s up or f you killer. I only t bag other survivors so not to confuse the killer with my intent Bc I heard they get irritated about it. Even if it’s not malicious.

The game is for survivors and killers. It should be enjoyable for both. Yeah if they hook rush you don’t feel bad for them if they didn’t even give you time to clear out. You’re not a camper they are just toxic survivors. You found them , you hooked them. You deserve to kick that generator, break that pallet and patrol the area before exiting that’s how killers get points. If survivors can’t respect that then whack them for being goons. They are literally asking for it by being right there and trying to rescue as soon as you hook someone up.TeambossFloze said:@HeroLives said:

in regards to killer pt. 2 - I find that I only start doing this if I know there is a survivor there, maybe I've caught a glimpse or there is some trails. If not i'll go to a Gen.
Killer pt3. yeah that's cheap af
I agree its crap
As a killer i would be okay with hook rushing Bc you can just beat them all up then. That’s how when I’m on a team we usually lose. Everyone wants to bomb save instead of do generators and we end up all dying. Meanwhile I’m on a generator like guys for ######### sake stop hook rushing. We have 0 generators done and you all are on your second hook. Now what are we going to do hmm? Strategically from a survivor POV it isn’t smart to hook rush.
Killer pov seems like the entity has shined down on and blessed you with survivors. None stratigic ones ,but survivors none the less.
Bottom line no you weren’t a camper for that and you doing what killers do is nothing to be ashamed of. They signed their own death notes for that.

As a survivor main that will once in a while play killer for rituals. I can honestly say I get it. I don’t like playing with other survivors that body block killers , or instant rush to save me. 1 the killer is just going to back up and hit you for trying to body block. 2 when the rush the hook save it almost ensure that either them or I go right back on that hook. It infuriates me as a survivor too. It’s just bad gameplay. Like omg you’re killing me and us just wait till the killer leaves for the love pandas man!Huntedfailure said:I'm a killer main but i don't hate survivors who play the game with the intent of playing fair(fixing gens not tea baging or body blocking ect..) i do hate survivors who are hyper altruist. hyper altruist are groups of survivors who immediately after a killer hooks someone one unhooks the survivor the other two body block with flash lights or anything along those lines. again i don't hate survivors but when survivors do ######### like what i described (which did actually happen)i draw the line.

Sounds like a terrible idea if I’m being honest especially against killers with a very miniscule terrier radius.survivors would constantly be grabbed off things and die way more often. Equals more salty survivors

They could do an original with the scarecrow idea. That would be neat af. Scary to play against as well. I play survivor and killer so I think a scarecrow would be fun for both. The scarecrows could be his “traps” like the hag. He/She can place a few where they want them and teleport to them. I applaud your idea, it’s very creative. The Mori could be the scarecrow sends birds to pick the survivors apart.

For example: Pumpkinhead, Wishmaster, Leprechaun, the Predator, Chucky, Bigfoot, and the giant cockroach from Mimic.
I would love pumpkin head in this game. Mimic would be cool as well, also wishmaster. I thought the other day that pumpkin head would be a great addition.
I agree with you, I do not want this pedophile to have any profit, I do not say it needs to be Jeepers Creepers, but I would really like a scarecrow style assassin, I think the producers have the capacity to invent something very interesting in this style, I just wanted play the idea.
