Yet the hatch is a “mechanic problem” Bc of this. No it’s a player problem. I never have this issue.I’d rather run a higher risk of dying than have a stare off for longer than five minutes. I mean if you want to do it and find it fun, then go ahead. Don’t call it a mechanic problem though when it can be so easily avoided. New idea to solve you guys being stubborn. If both killer and survivor are within 5 m of the hatch for longer than 3 minutes then they both get a random sequence of skill checks hit until miss. First one to miss loses , winner gets hatch. You are welcomeSn0wJob said:@Rush_b_naked said:
Standing for xx minutes around and looking in the hatch.wow. get a life bois!Just remember, it takes two to make a standoff, his opponent apparently "didn't have a life" either.
Hatch standoffs are always a matter of pride, and people tend to be very prideful. -
You guys are so petty. Just sooo petty ,that’s for killers and survivors that do this. Why just why? Is that one extra kill or not surviving that one round that important that you would rather stare at each other for over 10 minutes than move onto another round?

Me and this guy were having this very same conversation the other day. He asked why I haven’t played killer other than dailies. I’ve had this game a couple of months. I was like I think I should figure out how effective survivors work before trying to swap to killer. Can’t really catch or read survivors if you don’t know how they work first.Lowbei said:to be fair... i wouldnt advise anyone start playing killer before mastering survivor, especially a kid -

Are we playing the same game Bc most of the generators have 2-3 sides available only. A couple have two. then 1 Single side.the rest are four sidessHAAN said:@Nickenzie said:
Someissues said:It's a bit exaggerated but can happen if they all bring toolboxes
anyhow here's a game, in 3 minutes 4 gens being done while a Killer is chasing one person on the Groaning Storehouse, Ruin was active the whole time, 1 toolbox was used and it was uncommon, no BNP use
Now imagine without Ruin how many gens will be done in 3 minutes
this can tell you how fast gens gets done
Your video proves my point further, I skipped to the 5 minute mark and all generators still haven't been completed. All generators were completed at 6:36 during the video but I do understand the point your trying to make. Generators can get completed really fast, no doubt that but there are multiple variables you'll have to consider. If I were to make generators balanced I would increase generators repair times to 90/65/50/35, 90 seconds being 1 survivor on a generator and 35 seconds being 4 survivors on a generator. Additionally, the environment should block some sides of the generator to prevent multiple survivors from working on the same generator to a point where it would be rare to see a 4 side generator.
+1
but they are in open places that have no cover or killer shack which is boxed in but can be loopable. The gens are in the right places for their side count. -

From a toxic camper:
If you manage to disappear after a hit like the two who have pulled it off in front of my eyes then you will get a free pass to do whatever you want up to and including getting out. I have that much respect for people who can pull this off.
What i mean is i find you, chase you and hit you and in the time it takes me to turn around to where you were, you are gone. Poof. Into thin air. Gone. Not behind me. Not under my FOV. Gone. Like magic. That is truly magical. In 1500 hours two people have done this to me and i remember, still, who they were i was that impressed. One was a green bill on Groaning Storehouse, the other a bright red pizza dwight with a flashlight on the same map.
Two cases of magic. There was next to nothing for them to hide behind. Just a few pallets that i checked after making sure they were not hiding under FOV or behind me.
More of this please and less running in circles. Being made to run in circles was one of my main gripes about this game and one of the reasons i stopped a month ago.

It's kind of stupid actually, I've seen survivors pip without touching a generator and I've deranked doing 4 generators and nothing else. This game isn't based around skill or any sense of objectives, it's about hook farming now.
I'm a gen jockey so I know that part isn't necessarily true.
I do 3-4 gens, get the gate, break a Hex or two, and leave. When the Killer comes near I hide until they leave.
Iridescent Lightbringer, Iridescent Unbroken, Bronze/No Benevolent, Bronze Evader.

Maybe but the two assistants could carry medkits.its to prevent a specific item from over use. Ie everyone with insta heals; toolboxes with addons, and a lobby full of flashlights. And to make sure that it’s carried out throughout the match that’s why you can only grab the item in your catagory from a chest. Bc from what I grasp these items break the game when equipped in quantity. I think it will go swimmingly with the new plunders buff. Also thank you. The devs of course could tweak the idea.Schulz_The_Ugly said:@HeroLives said:
Hi! I’ve been playing this game for a couple of months so idk how much weight that holds compared to everyone else but from an unbiased obsersavation I believe that these implementations could help tremendously with balance.- When in the ready lobby survivors would select one of three catagories before proceeding. To select an item, or ready up
A) altruist-allowed to bring in flashlight only items
mechanic- allowed to bring in toolbox
c) assistant -can bring in med kit, map, or key.
there is only 1 mechanic and 1 altruist allowed in the lobby. The other two spots are for assistants.
If you did not select before the timer ends(add an additional minute) you will be placed in one of the unchoosen catagoriea available.
While in game you can only use the item pertained to your catagory for that match.
What do you guys think?
not bad my man, yet i think autruist should also have medkit..
- When in the ready lobby survivors would select one of three catagories before proceeding. To select an item, or ready up
-
If they don’t have the item they can search chests to get one in game. Or select one of the other options.xxaggieboyxx said:Not a bad idea but there is gonna be those people that choose mechanic or altruist and don't bring anything
The thing with selecting your playstyle for the match is that if someone else searches the chest and they selected altruist if they find a flashlight they can take it, but if it’s a toolbox then they can’t grab it that round. So if the person running mechanic goes to the box later the item will be there. If they don’t then oh well. It’s just to balance the over use of game throwing items in a single match as to not bully the killer. Level the playing field a bit. -

Myers is the only truly terrifying killer in this game. Sure you can argue that Hag can get a few jump scares out of you and a good Nurse is frighting to try and lose but nothing beats Myers as he has a few scare tactics in his kit/add-ons.
I wasn’t even scared the first half. I was like ######### is this dude and why are they not doing anything. Then once my teammates started dropping at they hit tier three I was scared. He’s just so damn quiet, and on the right maps where it’s really dark so hard to see!
-
^ true this ,just playing the killers to see how they work ,and how survivors combat it helps a lot.Zarathos said:Its also a good habbit to brush up on some of the killers your fighting before going in since their mechanics have crucial weak points you need to exploit in order to survive. For instance the hags traps will not be triggered if you crouch walk to a location where a trap is.
Also find other survivors that are awake to wake you up, or go fail a skill check.
Honestly learn to use premonition , and when it triggers leave the area in the opposite directions. It works beautifully against stealth and invisible killers

Idk if this helps or not, and I suck ass at killer*just to let that be known* however when I play for dailies I just look up when I see them going for a flashlight save. literally tilt your killer head up towards the sky. This counters flashlight.
-
Well if you instadown everyone immediately and hang them all up you’re just sacrificing survivors. You’re literally not playing a match ,ie doing killer objectives. You can’t insta or Mori everyone without chasing and hitting and expect to pip. It literally defeats the whole purpose of the game which is to hunt, chase, and kill off survivors.
As a survivor you can’t expect to walk around a whole match not do gens, save, get in chases. If you hide all match then expect to pip simply Bc you weren’t caught then that’s dumb. Bc again it defeats the whole purpose of the game.
The emblem system is fine Bc it requires you to do things ,like it should.
Sorry ,not sorry you guys can’t short cut your way to the top. -

If it happened within the last 20 mins yeah that was you. I was so confused with what was going on. Then I saw you creeping out of the corner of the map when I was trying to get the door. Tried to time it , did a bad job at that obviously. Omg that was amazing. I did not see that second half of the match coming. I’m still learning. I had zero clue you were stalking . I thought I was hidden pretty well when I wasn’t doing gens. I saw you go into tier three then everyone started dying. 😅Zarathos said:Yup i think I was playing against you. The work is mostly in stalking. You need to evade micheal at all costs prevent him from hitting tier 3. Make him chase you around awkward corners it'll limit his stalking. If you can, make it so he hits tier 2 hard as late as possible. He moves as a slug since he gets movement speed penalty. If your the obsession hide. He'll either dying light you or is going to use you to get play with your food stacks. This killer changes the game in a huge way he doesn't play like any other killer when playing these builds. Stealth against myers is essential. His terror radius will probably be small as well so your eyes will be key to preventing him from tiering up. He needs almost 3 full ew worth of survivor to pull this off it takes a long ass time and will not work if survivors lose him and play stealthy and stay aware.
Your also not likely to pip its a meme build and you will most likely depip since your getting mori's and kills and not any hits or hooks

Bringing those two add-ons is more often than not a recipe for disaster as they both tremendously increase the amount it takes to get to Tier 3, and if I remember correctly Tombstone actually pushes Myers out of it meaning he needs to stalk a bit more. Honestly it's much better breaking every pallet then doing it one by one with normal tombstone and maybe on a Dying Light obsession first to buy more time.

I really like the idea of an animalistic killer having a power that had to have trees though would have a huge set back though on maps that don’t have them. I really like the idea though. Maybe instead of trees he could use a smell power that detects aura that you then can jump to by the props/objects on maps. IE trees , walls, boxes, stacked cars. That way he would be able to use his power on all maps. Or even just that without the smell aura readingBlueberry said:I was actually thinking a wolf man type killer with his ability to be jumping. How about we let the ptb go live, have a mass of people play it and use these things. Then gather a large base of results then decide whether it needs a nerf or a buff.

The killer would have jump lung power similar to nurses blink , but instead of going through walls he could jump really far. The same speed though. Or maybe a built in sonar for a power.
