No, Freddy isn't balanced, he's easy enough to play that people like you don't have any issues playing him, so you CALL him balanced. And the reason that good survivors have no issue against him is because Freddy is so powerful, but easy, that people who would ordinarily be around rank 10 get boosted to rank 1, where they get destroyed because they only know the basics of the game, while some red rank players have thousands more hours than them. Oh, and guess what? Freddy is boring, because he doesn't have to work to do anything at all, so the majority of the Freddys you get at red ranks will be too boosted to have fun with. Same with spirit, but the difference between her and Freddy is that facing a good one is fun. And don't say that I call strong killers boring either, since IMO the most boring killer in the game is legion.

But that's fair. Bubba isn't very difficult to play, so he shouldn't be able to deny the survivors counterplay. That's why spirit needs to be changed along with Freddy.
Oh, and before either of you call me a survivor main, I am a rank 1 Nurse main, and a rank 2 Feng main. I play both sides, but I play killer much more, so you could call me a killer main. I play Freddy a lot, too, so don't say that I don't have any experience playing him. I don't really play Bubba though, since I prefer Billy.
So you main the strongest killer in the game, yet you're keep saying spirit and freddy need a nerf.
-
Freddy's black box now allows him to place fake generators in the map.
-
We were always able to use it. They never retired the offering from your inventory
-
Lol. Clown addon doesn't even work

Did you guys get the 300k a couple days ago? Geez.
Also I'd bet a million bloodpoints the daily giveaways get higher in currency closer to Christmas.
Lol. I lost over a million in just 4 days because bbq is bugged

10k what? Shard or bp?
Like they would ever give you 10k shards

Why would they move broken keys? Broken key with things like blood amber is one if the most powerful things you can bring with you

"Very strong in the things he does". You needed to finish reading the sentence. It also mentions he has well defined weaknesses, which is one of those things you brought up. Bubba has a very clear focus in what he is good at, and within those terms, he's extremely good at it. He also has well defined counterplay. That's good design. He's not the best Killer by far, but he is VERY good and very well defined.
So what is he very good at?
-
@StibbityStabbity said:
If anything, Bubba is the clear winner for "rework done right". He is very strong in the things he does, has very well defined weaknesses, and when he wasn't performing up to snuff, he was given a significant but appropriate boost in his power.
Freddy is over-tuned. His base kit is literally "just give him everything" with no focus on strengths and weaknesses. He has no feel, no identity. He just does "everything". Need to move fast? Teleport. Need stealth? It's almost always on. Need loop traps and intel? Covered. On top of that, he is mostly immune to many perks that make use of the Terror Radius. He needs some of his kit stripped away, and what remaining kit he has can be strengthened to give him a set playstyle that he excels at.
How is Bubba " very strong"? You use a few windows against him and he's a regular m1 killer

@tactic said:
yeahh as a killer main, Freddy is far too easy for how well he can perform, and his kit is far too bloated.
he’s boring to play against because his power is inevitable and slows the game down, not survivors “refusing to do gens”
How does his power slow the game down?

So I looked it up cause I thought victor was Charlotte's age... Was victor killed at 5 years old and reanimated into a monster by the entity?
Yes according to the lore. After Lil' Vic died Charlotte continued on as his corpse continued to rot throughout the years

Yes, from what I was previously told we can call him a baby. But we can't say things like "crush the b**y" even though it's a mechanic in the game.

He's an undead monster - the TOS part has no relation to BHVR. They hold no power over other platforms like Discord or Twitch. They have strict guidelines on any kind of child abuse comments. It's up to the user and streamer to be aware of this and not break the TOS of the platforms who have those guidelines.
I understand twitch or discord part, that has nothing to do with you and they have certain rules. But why is it not allowed on the forum for DBD discussions? Especially when we make it clear we're talking about Victor (one of the killers in the game) and not about child abuse.
-
Trapper. He was the one who got tortured into submission by the entity
-
It's funny considering he is a 5 year old child. And then bhvr being hypocrite about it and telling you it's against TOS
-
It's long for survivors so they just match them as soon as game finds a killer.

Is this supposed to mean killer is hard lol
For me it's mostly bugs. That's what gets to me the most
-
I got power struggle to actually work...3 times
-
Your timing to switch sides could not be worse...but good luck
-
Wraith. He's pretty weak with his basekit. But as soon as you throw good aaddons on him it's a completely different story

People can still buy things and leave criticism.
Yeah. But they're buying it. There's plenty of criticism after nearly every update. But what changes?
-
Have an icon next to your name showing that you have the perk visible to other survivors
-
Why would they try to improve something if people are buying it?
-
How do you camp a door?
-
Maybe they'll finally fix his disappearing bottles bug after over 2 years
-
It's kind of funny to hear them say that just because the killer is strong. He's not op but he's doing well - lets nerf him meanwhile there is no killer besides him, spirit and nurse that can stand up to a team of well coordinated swf, deal with genrush. And half the killers in the game are a laughing stock especially on bigger maps
-
I find long walls with dropped pallets, jungle gyms and shack are the best counters to him. Also crouching around the corner to let him run past you works well. And let's not forget buildings with a second floors like saloon, ormond and haddonfield.
-
What's wrong with that grab? You haven't finished the vault animation yet
-
..
-
Just use empathy, you don't really need all those healing perks
-
With cages there is no bt, ds, deliverance and exhaustion perks don't reset

I agree there's camping issues with The Twins, both with leaving Charlotte close with 0 terror radious or camping with victor who also has no terror radious and so no Borroed time is applied. This being said I do disagree in that Victor's Pounce is too strong, it it indeed a very useful tool to create massive pressure but if it comes with the risk of missing, which is much more punishing than any other killer by letting the survivors get rid of your power for a few seconds (which, admitedly, I think it's too short) and moving you across the map out the the chase.
You do realize you can just kick victor while Charlotte is being controlled if he's left at the hook right?
-
Sounds like a good counter to me.
-
Bubba. That's enough
-
Only if you hit every single pounce, just like nurse is op if she hits every single blink. But if you don't and not making it as it can be on paper he's balanced. Missed pounces followed by a kick to the face are pretty devastating in terms of pressure. You just lost all that distance and survivor already rotated if he's smart. Looping him around long walls with pallets down or jungle gyms works great against him.
-
For me it's plague. I can't stand the vomit effects on screen
-
I think orange will apply deep wound when clown hits them with a weapon while survivor is intoxicated
-
PTB - #ad
-
Probably because CDPR cares. It seems to me people working at bhvr are high and/or drunk while they work, judging by the state of updates.
-
He has addon that inflicts blindness, which is a joke. I think it's like 20 seconds
-
10k in 2020 with 164 perks in the game and one bloodweb level costing 50k on average🤣
-
You gotta love those lighthouses
-
No way Jane should be able to do that
-
The only way I find them viable is to leave the baby in high traffic areas and at the hooks. Yes, you're.chasing without a power but I don't think its even worth to use your power on a healthy survivor when chase starts. By the time you wake up and get to the location where Victor latched onto them they are on the other side of the map. Or you'll miss and get crushed and you're back where you started
-
Those exclusives are a joke
-
He's there so we can kick the child!
-
I usually leave the baby by the hook. Far more efficient imo. Killer instinct will show them to you ahead of time. You can down the unhooked and hit the rescuer, then carry on with whatever you were doing leaving them to heal
-
Yes, as long as people are off gens
-
🤔🤔🤔...😂😂🤣🤣🤣
