Just a neat little buff and also for consistency sake since he disables items so why not disable perks too.
I think he's pretty balanced at the moment.

This game definitely generates a lot of ...passion. I just take a break whenever it's pissing me off but I'll still come here to get into pointless arguments on balance even if I haven't touched it in a month.
Yeah when this game does frustrate me I just breathe and if it pisses me off i get up and take a water break or something similar.

So this might just be me, but recently I have run up against a tactic employed by high-skill SWFs where a survivor who is about to go down will jump into a locker and if you pull them out a second survivor will blind you during the animation to trigger a drop.
While incredibly rare to go against, this seems broken to me. There isn't really counter-play (i might be wrong). The survivor is happy to sit in the locker while one or two of thier mates do gens, if you go after the healthy flashlight survivor the other survivor will obviously leave.
Often they are running multiple flashlights so you can't even focus down the one survivor.
My opinion is I am facing a locker, I should not be able to be blinded during the animation.
Thanks.
Answer is no I just hate being flashlight blinded from the side.

1) Have camping have the intended effect of causing the killer to lose. Make it so that it takes survivors a lot longer to die on hook when the killer is camping them.
2) Bloodpoint reduction. Half the reason I play killer is because you get more bloodpoints. If you have it so that BBQ loses stacks in a verifiable event of camping and bloodpoints deplete at a 100 BP per 5 accumulative seconds within proximity to a hooked survivor (when not in chase, of course), then you're pretty much bankrupting the killer for camping.
3) Make it easier to save survivors who are getting camped. The unfortunate thing about camping is that it's an easy way to secure one kill. A lot of us do it in the endgame for that purpose alone, which usually means we didn't earn it.
No to the first would change the second so that survivors get bloodpoints they would get from a chase if they were being face-camped and yes to the 3rd its just a problem of coming up with something like that that doesn't involve an i love u squad swarming the hook.

I'm going to see how downhill this goes.

I have a question. I'm still very new to the game and I'm still learning the basics here, so sorry if this is a dumb question. Do survivors earn points collectively as a team, where if the more they at the end of a game if the survivors escape with all 4 or if only 3 survive cus one sacrificed themselves in some way, do they all earn the same amount of BP? Or is it a each survivor earns their BPs individually regardless of how well or bad the team does as a whole? (Example: Survivors win with 3 surviving and one dying at the end with the gates open. All actions are counted on by the game and pooled together earning everyone on the team 28,000 BP each. Or is it more like Survivor 1 earns like 10,000 BP while Survivor 2 got 12,000 BP, Survivor 3 gets 11,000BP, and the guy who sacrificed themselves gets 8,000BP?
each one gets their own individual points. there might be some actions tha reward them all but to my knowledge everyone gets their own individual points.

I've been holding my answer to this question back for a while now. BBQ and Devour Hope. Make more killer perks that discourage camping and tunneling.

the devs keep nerfing the ability to avoid the killer and play stealthy because and I quote “it provides an unfun trial for the killer of survivors try to hide too much”
When did that happen. people can still play stealthy
-
Yeah. Camping is a problem but people are going to keep doing it if that's the way they prefer to play.

Honestly, I just really want to play as a Tyrant or Tyrant-like character. The kind of RE villain who was nigh-unkillable and doggedly pursued the protagonists throughout the game they starred in.
Whether that's the relentless and imposing Mr. X (RE2) or Nemesis (RE3),
The persistent and perseverant Jack Baker (RE7) or Ustanak (RE6),
Or the monstrous Lisa Trevor (RE1) or G-Birkin (RE2).
Haven't had the chance to play RE8 yet, so I'm not sure if Lady D is also truly Tyrant-like (from the spoilers I've seen though, she probably isn't). Personally, I'm not keen on bringing in any RE8 characters yet because of how new they are.
This describes almost all of them. Jack was near unkillable Nemesis is near unkillable and nemesis were near unkillable.

32 meters is much too far. Some will be proxy camping for other survivors they know are around or they might be going in between gens.

Lol. What about it?
It is the survivor equivalent of an fov slider. yes I only know it applies to pc.
-
I don't care. I just want a killer with a strong (not like overpowered but you know b-a tier), fun power and a survivor with interesting perks.
-
@malloymk said:
But who would choose lesser FOV? Literally every killer would just increase FOV to it's max. So at that point, what's the point of a slider? What advantages are being given to survivors to compensate for the killer buff?
Also, mark me down as someone that would love the FOV to be increased. I also just have no qualms about saying I want it increased so killer will be more enjoyable and yes, easier.

Probably. The 2002 one was dreamworks and the 2017 film rings is paramount pictures.

Ok. don't worry I'm going to be making more of these poles so most likely some of the movies you are referring to will be ending up here.

It’s a great perk but once you get to higher ranks and survivors know where all the totems spawns are it usually gets knocked out pretty quickly, even if you’re pairing it will Undying
Also ######### totem spawns.

Yes.

Kinda hoping for Ethan as the survivor, since he did make a decent debut in RE7, and with RE8, well, if you know you know
I doubt they would use dbd for his face reveal.

This one match I had where I was playing spirit on swamp and got a 4k plus 32,000 bloodpoints.

I completely disagree. the perk, on paper, discourages camping; in practice however, devour hope is used in combination with a number of perks/abilities used to hide one's terror radius specifically so they can camp the hook at around minimum range. this includes Monitor as well as insidious. I've seen this especially on slingers, GF, myers, etc. Devour hope doesn't discourage camping, it only discourages blatant face camping.
This doesn't make sense. A killer has no choice but to be 24 meters away from the hook if they want to get use out of devour hope. Its not regarding the terror radius it just has to be the killer in general. Proxy camping is something else.
-
Here's the small problem with all of that. On the killers screen if they hit you then they're going to hit you. Latency is a big issue but killers don't need to learn about getting closer to hit because most likely hit you on their screen.
-
I know your all about to attack me for saying this but I personally love going against spirit.
-
Devour Hope is fine because it discourages camping.
