"I can use different perks but play mostly the same" isn't "different ways to play". Wraith has different builds, Nurse has different builds, Onryo has different builds, even Trapper has different builds.

The only effective way to play SM is defense, whether gens or totems, or both, with occasional straying away to get a hit or eat a resource.

Crazy how people who don't play her will sit up here and tell me how she can and can't be played lol.

There's far more than just perks including her add ons which enable or allow some of these playstyles to work in anyway. Just because the most effective way of playing her is gen defense doesn't mean thats all she can do and the only effective way of playing her is gen defense when she has plenty of add ons which enable a variety of other playstyles that other killers cant utilize but she can.

Yep, sorry, you're right! Doesn't really change anything though because you'll still hit 7 stacks by the second down since they're not protected from projection-induced condemn after the first hit. It's functionally the same.

You can just grab a tape and put in the tv thats 2 feet away from the one you grabbed it from and cleanse all your stacks instantly so

That's where Sadako's main skill expression is, map awareness. You shouldn't have to be teleporting to find them, you should have at least some idea of where they are already.

That's not something that's only just true now, by the way, that's the biggest thing to learn for Sadako ever since she was introduced. She is a heavily map awareness dependant killer.

Then whats the point in getting a tape in the first place or even using condemned...if they'll never be condemned or even have it as a risk then why pick up a tape lol

  • @OnryosTapeRentals said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3491600#Comment_3491600

    No it doesn't.

Two stacks is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Not to mention that it's unrealistic to go around and hit a survivor every time they pick up a Tape to even get the stacks in the first place.

Before, Tapes would apply Condemnation passively. It was guaranteed slowdown if survivors picked up a Tape. Now, it's only going to hinder survivors if you're nearby to hit them. If they can see you're across the map chasing, hooking etc. then they know that they're safe to pick up a Tape.

Also survivors can deposit their Tapes in any TV. It's so easy to remove Condemnation now that it's laughable.

EXACTLY! All these people who don't even play her trying to chime in on how games as her go its so weird

  • @jesterkind said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3491597#Comment_3491597

Because you don't have to commit to the chase. If they're holding a tape for insurance, and they go pick up another tape that they hold for insurance... you can hit and run them for more Condemned gain and another tape destruction.

Tapes basically have to be used as soon as they're picked up, which means one of two things. Either they're doing it regularly to cleanse a small amount of Condemned, in which case that slowdown builds up, or they wait to do it until the last second, which means that interrupting and ambushing them is strong to the point of it being potentially deadly.

okay but you still have to find them to actually get that hit off and if she doesn't find a specific survivor carrying a tape in 3 teleports then that survivor wins and thats still a payoff. The 'risk' is still EXTREMELY negligible either way and for most won't outweigh the benefits early game esp now that she'll be essentially playing without add ons every game since her add ons effects are...yeah

  • @Matukas said:

I'm very glad to see that they changed the cooldown on projection (though 10 seconds is still too much) and lowered the cooldowns for TVs (SUPER happy about these durations).

That being said, there's basically no reason to hook now and 2 stacks per hit is ridiculous. I'm just going to slug anyone who has a tape now. Would have much preferred that they listen to the feedback we gave on the PTB instead of incentivizing slugging even more when most of the feedback indicated that moving away from this sort of thing would have been well-received.

When you hit someone carrying a tape the tape is destroyed

  • @jesterkind said:

Pretty positive. The tapes being destroyed on hit is a really impactful change, imo, it makes holding on to a tape for passive insurance basically a detriment to the survivor now.

Plus, more teleport is great, big fan.

Can I ask how in any way? They get the same stacks they did before if you had committed to the chase now they just get to instantly cleanse it somewhere else quicker than before

  • Yup cant forget them gutting hag and making her power the most laughably counterable thing in the game lol. And they're sticking with the concept of "ONLY PLAY KILLERS HOW WE WANT YOU TO PLAY THEM!!!!" by gutting all of her add ons that encouraged any play style beyond basekit lmao no more chase mind games or even condemned pressure just...blindness lol

You have a very strange idea of what a live service game is. BHVR is free to change their game as they see fit. If they weren't, we would still have OG DS, OG MoM and OG Nurse.

If you bought SM to lock people into 3-gens for an hour, then I have no sympathy for you.

If you did not, then I do. It's unlikely her power will remain the same for much longer. Her visuals, sounds, lore and else will all likely stay exactly the same. I suppose I'm wondering why a rework is so upsetting to you if you aren't playing her as a 3-genner.

Because there is plenty of ways to play her in her current kit. She can be chase orientated, stealth orientated, gen defense orientated, anti heal orientated, and more that Ik I've played with but am forgetting. Her rework I'm sorry but we already know what it'll be if they don't just nerf her to hell and call it a day.

They'll remove ALL other playstyles except chase and she'll just be another generic chase killer like freddy when he got his rework. I have always enjoyed killers who have a lot of micro management and even more so killers that do area denial. Atm we have Hag and Trapper for area denial, they've gutted Hag in any rank that's not low since survivors just know to wipe traps away now. And Trapper is so clunky and slow on everything he does you don't feel much enjoyment + his games tend to all play the exact same way of 'go find trap place at pallet/window, repeat'

My other favorite killer to play Onryo, is being gutted tomorrow in favor of the same thing, simplifying her basekit by removing ALL other playstyles in favor for chasing as an M1 killer (Even going as far as to remove her add ons which allow her to mindgame during chase and pull actually skillfull plays). When BHVR says rework they mean simplfy their kit which means make everything very straight forward. SM was a killer who hit the golden trifecta for me in design, power, and effectiveness. I never played her as a 3 gen as my 2 main builds were anti-pallets and anti-heal, both which I'm sure will be completely unviable and non existent post nerf/rework as evident by EVERY other rework they've done.

Ftr I'm sympathetic to this because I do actually like SM but hard stonewalling the idea of her being reworked is not the way after what was seen in that vod. This is where those of us that actually like the character need give feedback on how that should possibly be done because the people that don't like her don't really have anything past "just delete this thing you worked on for a year that a bunch of people bought".

I personally think making strobes basekit , making claw traps last 60 seconds, making the drones activate instantly and make the stealth linger for 10 seconds in exchange for scrapping the lock on exposed mechanic would be a good trade and actually make her a more dynamic killer and make her more the stealthy techno-huntress they kinda billed her as and make her a good chase killer.

I think removing lock on makes her drones extremely unthreatening and powerless tbh. Her being an M1 with no chase power just information isn't good enough on its own which is where the problem is. See, this wouldn't even affect me so much had it not been for them gutting Onryo and Hag my other killer mains. Beyond those 3 I have mediocre fun with the rest of the killer roster, I'm much more into the 'set up and plan ahead' style of gameplay rather than "Find survivor and chase rinse and repeat." and beyond SM and Hag we have like no killers that are actual area control killers or killers who reward huge pre planning (Trapper but hes less area control and theres not much micro managing beyond trap count and where they are + him being clunky).

The problem is BHVR won't care about SM player feedback they just wanna appeal the masses so I'm sure they'll just make her drones like attack people or something and call it day because thats the only kind of killer people want in this game unfortunately. Any killer whos slightly broken the mold of 'run around this one object, drop pallet and do it again' is regarded as unfun and needs a rework they even did it to freddy lol I have 0 hope they'll keep her as an area denial/control killer like I adore her being

And the rest of us pay into this game too, and many of us play when we have a bit of spare time to kill in between work or family or friends or schooling or whatever. And we don't want to spend the entire time with you. You're not that special, I'm sorry. If you play SM and enjoy locking people into hour long games then you are simply wasting people's time. I can play 3-4 games in an hour with any other killer. Why would I want to play an hour with SMs like yourself and earn the same amount of bp that I could earn in 10 minutes with any other killer?

Never once while playing as or against SM have I had a game go over the 15 minute mark tbh so lol. Is this all SM players have to go on is assumption, assumption, assumption, assumption, assumption?

Where have I said that people who play SM are terrible people?

I'm pretty sure I've gone out of my way to say that you are allowed to enjoy and like Killers. I mained Legion for a long time and people do NOT like playing against him. It's fine that you like SM, but you can't let that enjoyment blind you to the glaring issues she has.

Like I said, I've mained Legion in the past and Knight is one of my favorite Killers in rotation to play. Do I think either of them are good and healthy gameplay design? No. Would I encourage BHVR to make more Killers like them? No. I like to play them, but I acknowledge that they have fundamental issues that cause problems. I don't think either are quite on Skull Merchant's level, but they are issues nonetheless.

I mean considering even under posts where people have been just happy about SM in general you'll always come in with some huge negativity and need to say how much you hate her its so god awfully annoying. Like does EVERY post that mentions her need you to be there to say how much you hate her and think no one should be allowed to play her? When you go out of your way to constantly engage SM players in a negative way and imply they deserve to have their money wasted then yes I do not believe you like SM players in anyway which is fine you do you but don't be vocal about it 24/7

Most people didn't buy Skull Merchant with money tho tbf lmao

I get your point but it's a live service game and I'm p sure they make it clear somewhere that content can and will be changed whenever they see fit. As long as you still keep the content you paid for it's not illegal as far as I'm aware

But that isn't the content I paid for. I paid for Skull Merchant not whatever the hell they're gonna rework her power into. When shes just another generic chase power killer then that isn't what I paid for.

Agree to disagree then ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ , I personally believe the needs of the many outweigh the enjoyment of a few, especially if there's always potential to go back and do more work on her later.

With current trajectories I'm sure something is coming anyways, I don't see her enough for it to really tank my enjoyment of the game so I'll just wait for it.

They literally gutted Sadako and will leave her dead in the water along with twins BHVR has shown they do not care about weak killers and have even stated so recently. Removing her from the game until maybe 1 day in the next 8 years they'll return her to make her viable is ridiculous

Sorry fam, I disagree with Pulsar on many things, however in this reply you not only contradict you logic but also plain out lie.

you say that doing a change to something people bought is bad and false advertisement and use CoH as an example, I bought mikaela exclusively because of how OP CoH was, and when they balanced it, I took it as a normal person that understands that is just normal in a game that has constant balance changes, just because some people like som4ething problematic that is no excuse for keeping something ufun/unbalanced.

Next you say that when CoH was on its prime there waas radio silence, what on earth are you saying!, there were like 5 discussion daily on forums, a lot of youtube content and comments on reddit etc on how problematic it was. even then CoH WAS CHANGED so even if we asume the community had no issue with it (which is false) the devs took measures against it, so there is absolutelly no bias in that regard.

You're intentionally leaving out HUGE chunks of what I said to make your point more appealing.

    A. I said "these people" as in the ones complaining about Skull Merchant 3 gens. I've seen not one thread by any of them in the time I've been here complaining about how old COH created hour long games solely because killers couldn't leave the gens to chase 1 person nor could they go snuff the totem

    B. Thats a perk not a whole character. I spent $12 on SM not leverage, game afoot, and thwack. Idc about perk balance because everybody can use perks on anyone.

Ppl on here like to beat a dead horse when it comes to SM. Honestly, I don't mind ppl asking for a rework bc I too think she needs something but what I do mind is the nerve of asking for a killer to be removed/kill switched when they know a rework would take more than a year to do. Be realistic with your requests, trust me ppl would take you more seriously.

Personally, I don't care some comp team was held in a game for 50min. I honestly hate team eternal. Comp players like them and even Pulsar are all the same in my mind, they are loud and egotistic players who think they are better than anyone else. They think ppl can reach their level of play when reality most ppl can't and won't. A lot of us don't make playing this game a living. Anyway, I'm glad I took a break from dbd. I'm only here to see what ppl are arguing about.

I just hate opening the forums and seeing everyone (especially one person here) saying how everyone who plays this specific killer are terrible people and demanding we have our money wasted simply because they find it 'unfun'. Which I think is funny cause when COH was meta and causing hour long games there was radio silence. I guess hour long games are only okay when the survivors are in control of when it ends not the killer?

Yes yes I know you didn't read what I wrote.

It's not false advertising. BHVR is allowed to change things and we've had the conversation before.

I didn't you're right because I know its the same thing it always is. Skull Merchant bad people who bought her deserve to have wasted their money etc etc

  • @Sharby said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3490160#Comment_3490160

Except she would still be Skull Merchant.

Her perks would be the same, her lore would be the same, her appearance would be the same. She would most likely still have her drones.

Unless you're saying that putting drones on a gen/loop, something that like 10 killers can already do, was the sole reason you're playing her, this seems like hyperbole.

If it were that easy to fix things in this game, we wouldn't have perks being disabled for weeks (Any Means Necessary,) we wouldn't have basic features like a HUD taking 4+ years to be added, we wouldn't have some characters STILL having gamebreaking bugs (Bubba/Twins.)

Its pretty clear that the coding for this game isn't that great, and I don't want any balance changes taking super long just because the devs want to fix it, they should apply temporary changes to problematic killers first (Knight/SM.) Then fix the three-genning, then buff them if they need it. Everyone wins in the long-term, and in the short-term, we aren't seeing 50 minute games.

No she wouldn't. We have approximately 1 mehly viable area denial killer (Hag) every other killer has a very basic format of run around searching for survivor, find survivor, hit, repeat. I like killers where every match can be played differently and things are always fresh, SM has a lot that goes into her kit that only improves with add ons (when you actually play her outside of 3 gens) which is why I love her so much because I adore killers with playstyles that can change every match. Yeah you CAN just throw drones at loops or gens but theres much more you can do when it comes to micro management and how you wanna place/adjust everything that without her drones being the way they are just makes her so :/. I don't mind her having zones where she struggles a bit as every killer I feel should, but to essentially destroy her power just to fix something that isn't even an issue with her herself just for it to rinse and repeat isn't gonna help anything.

  • @Pulsar said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3490160#Comment_3490160

    It really isn't lol.

We already went throught this convo when MoM, Legion and Freddy were reworked.

Yes yes I know you hate skull merchant and anyone who plays her no need to remind us we've got the message loud and clear

  • I just hate killers who reward bad play. Killers like slinger and wesker are annoying simply because they put hard timers on chase. Weskers is a countdown until infection and DS is just whenever you have to use a window and i never understood the fun appeal of "Be on gen, get chased, get infected, walk across map to spray yourself, repeat" gameplay

  • @Sharby said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3490058#Comment_3490058

And then the Knight will get nerfed in that regard as well, the sad reality is that this game has incredibly fickle and fragile coding, things break all the damn time for seemingly no reason. It is most likely going to take a very long time for them to fix the 3-gen issue, I definitely do not want SM holding games hostage, especially as the strat gets more traction while we wait for 3-gen change.

So they should nerf her and whoever else is causing these outliers, sucks for the people that play them, but if people can win just fine on "F-tier" killers then those players will adapt and be fine anyways.

Reworks are part of the potential package when it comes to buying killers, I don't really think its false advertising. That's just what happens since killers are the power role and have big influence over the match.

No it IS false advertising actually. You don't make someone pay for something then change it thats like paying to get a burger then they hand you a piece of poop wrapped in a tortilla and go "Its part of the package that we get your order wrong.". And what you're suggesting will never fix the problem just destroy killers who already struggle. Keep nerfing any killer who can utilize a 3 gen in any way instead of just...fixing the 3 gen which you're hugely over complicating.

I haven't played or played against Hag since the change honestly so I'm not sure I just remember having my own 20-25 minute Hag games back when she was peak lol.

That being said I can't imagine a Clown holding that 3 gen for the same amount of time the SM did or come anywhere close. Part of the equation is the skill checks were silent due to the shotgun speakers and how much lost progress that added up to and add in the fact how much the clown player would have to stop and reload Clown is holding that 3 gen 8-10 minutes tops not 53 minutes.

I forgot about those add ons. I agree those should be reworked because what they encourage.

Suggesting a let's say Clown can hold a 3 gen in the same way a Merchant can is a bit disingenuous no? They both can for at least some period of time but the Clown is not making the game last 50 minutes. The only other killer that could even come close to doing that is maybe Hag.

Also I wanna point out I did say the problem always will exist she just is one of the killers who can fully take advantage and exploit this design flaw. I don't think shes the problem at all its entirely on maps being allowed to spawn 3 gens

Hag is like F tier since you can just wipe her traps now lol but Clown can throw a bottle at a gen and get a good 10 seconds of no one being allowed to touch that gen along with a loud noise notification and a slowdown if they try.

It doesn’t even matter if gens are super close to each other. As long as they’re on the same side of the map, anyone can hold a 3 gen hostage against most teams with this killer. People are going to learn how to play this still and they’re basically not learning how to play DBD.

Depends on the map. Some maps can have 3 gens spawn on the same side and she's still C-B tier on those maps even with 3 genning. But I wrote a more detailed response about SM above however.

  • @Sharby said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3490051#Comment_3490051

Yes yes that's nice but let's compare the dev time it would take to change something fundamental about the game (recoding gen placement algorithm) and all its potential quirks vs just nerfing a single killer that's not prominent but leads to extreme outliers in gamelength.

They can just revisit her later for buffs once a longer-term change gets put into place. There is zero reason she should remain untouched.

After all the people that play her love the character not her 3-gen playstyle right? Shouldn't be an issue then.

I dont think slightly pushing gens away or changing whats most likely a number variable of how close they can spawn will take huge amounts of dev time lol. Stop trying to make every single killer F tier to fix other issues this game has. When SM gets nerfed what then? Then all the people who played her to 3 gen go to knight and the same issue happens except those of us who actually like her now no longer get to play her because shes either

    A. Vehemently awful. There is no solution to fixing her 3 gen that doesn't also GUT her. Take away exposed then drones aren't threats, make it so you cant put drones near gens then huge sections of maps will be deadzones for her power, take away her speedboosts then shes just an M1 killer who can see your location every now and then.

    B. Not at ALL what we wanted. The other option which is only preferrable because its the only chance of keeping her in a somewhat viable state is to rework her kit heavily which obviously those of us who paid for her didn't pay for.

I have one idea that would fix this problem for skull merchant and keep her how she is for those of us who do love her(Make it so drones can't be placed if their zone comes within a 10 meter range of a generator but remove her drone distance limit) but I doubt they'd incorporate the full thing and probably only the nerf which is the worst part lmao

  • @GannTM said:

I am sorry to the people that play her, but she is not healthy for the game by any means. There’s no gameplay for both sides and it takes no time to actually master her. She either needs to get removed or completely reworked.

Shes literally B tier if 3 gens dont spawn close to each other (Which is fine). Skull Merchant isnt the problem its the fact 3 gens can spawn where ANY killer can easily hold the same 3 gen that she pushes it over. If the gens are even moderately too far apart she's extremely easy to disable. The problem isn't SM its 3 gens in general she just exploits that already broken system.

The 3% haste only becomes broken when survivors play perfectly. The average survivor doesn't play perfectly. They make mistakes. They don't run loops as tight as they can. They second-guess themselves. They get caught on obstacles in the loop. They don't know the exact number of times you can greed a loop, and sometimes they over-greed and get punished for it.

The game is not balanced around the top performers. It's balanced around the average. If it were, Tru3Ta1ent would have nothing to complain about. I think it goes without saying why Nurse was hit with nerf after nerf when you look at just how broken Nurse used to be.

MFT is not winning games by itself. If it were, even average survivors who are somewhat competent at looping would constantly be escaping, but they're not. MFT is still outclassed by exhaustion perks.

It does infinitely help the average player because if we're using your logic, then you're aware that the average killer will also have a much harder time in countering a survivor who has a 3% faster movement speed. I don't think I'm some e sports level survivor by any means and I think MFT has won me several games I would've lost had I had an exhaustion perk

I can definitely say that it is not a measure to stop cheaters. It might have been an extra hurdle to make it a bit more inconvenient way back in the early days of the game, but this is not why the cap exists today.

These days, the cap exists to pace progress when new content releases. Having goals to work towards helps keep the game interesting, and leveling up the new characters to unlock their perks & add-ons is a goal that most people aim for without even thinking about it. The cap is there to limit how many Bloodpoints you can stockpile so that you can't instantly max out all the new characters the moment they are released.

Okay but I dont think anyone finds it fun to have a soft cap on what we can do in the game. Like when the rift is over or I max it out and I hit the BP cap its just like...okay I guess we're waiting til the next chapter.

I'm running on like 4 hours of sleep. When I said Tiers in relation to Made for This, I was referring to the perk tiers. Tier 1 Made for This is 1% Haste.

Now, I won't argue the perk isn't strong because it is, but is it overpowered like all the complainers are making it out to be? Hardly. It's still outclassed by Sprint Burst, and the 3% doesn't guarantee you distance like old Dead Hard did. You also have to already be injured to get value from it, and you have to run loops perfectly in order for the perk to actually seem broken.

Your average survivor isn't a god-looper who knows exactly how many times they can greed a loop before they have to leave that loop. The game isn't balanced for high mmr. That's about the long and short of it. Should it lose the Endurance effect? Sure. But the 3% Haste thing? Not OP.

Okay but we don't balance around those who can't use it we balance on those who can. If it can be absolutely broken to the point it can win games alone then it should be brought down especially for an asymmetrical game. Its why nurse was hit with nerf after nerf, because they balance it around the top performers.

Some maths: It takes 90 seconds to repair a generator solo. Cut that in half if repairing with one other survivor. BL1 is 15 seconds. BL2 is 25. BL3 is 35. 25 Seconds to down a survivor, about 7 seconds to hook them. Depending on perks like Eruption, Pain Resonance and Jolt, there's a good chance that survivors aren't making it out if you're getting a hook roughly every 32 seconds.

Each tier of Bloodlust is 5% haste. Made for This is 1% per tier. With just Made for This, a survivor will have a maximum base speed while running of 103%. At Bloodlust 2, a 115% killer goes up to 125%. That extra 10% means you're more likely to catch the survivor at a loop, or down them before they make a pallet or window.

Bloodlust goes up in increments of 5->2.5->2.5 and the way you word it makes it sound like MFT needs time to activate '1% per tier' MFT activates instantly and 3% for survivors is infinitely more powerful than even 10% for killers lmao

That's some serious revisionist history there. Circle had been nerfed 3 different times since it's release, the first nerf was within 3 months of it coming out.

What you probably meant to say was that it took them over a year and a half to finally delete the perk.

No because the 'nerfs' they gave it were so meaningless that it didn't change anything lol. They didn't even delete its still extremely strong you just dont get to deny the killer any and all pressure whenever you lose them in chase now

  • Yeah I honestly think she is probably the worst killer in the game atm. At least Trapper can end a chase early with a lucky trap, Pig is an M1 killer whos power only activates once you secure a down with no power lol

  • Maybe next year or the year after that.

It's not surprise. Perk is not problematic, it's just fine. If devs see any issue with it, they will just nerf it. They are more brave with nerfing things lately.

So if they did not nerf MfT, data just shows perk is fine. Just deal with it.

"If the devs see an issue they'll nerf it!" It took a year and a half for COH to get nerfed lol

If all you want is a retexture why does it have to come at P100?

That's a pretty crap reward for investing hundreds of hours into a single character.

If you can hammer it out in a single night, why not take that skill and go make mod textures?

I do. Most are for personal use on RE5 but I uploaded one. Not the best but it was my first attempt at a recolor ever so here :)

    https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/17530/re5-pinkstar-ashley-skin

But also just to show dedication to said character and show off that you enjoy the character enough to level them up that high lol

Made For This is something we are going to be monitoring, for right now we don't feel that it needs much change - it will continue to be monitored over the coming weeks.

So The Singularity's add ons were so powerful they needed immediate nerfs but made for this is still just fine?

  • Hag for buff, [REDACTED] for nerf, Legion for rework

Good for business, but arguably less good for players. There are downsides to this that you've not realized.

One of them is that it's such a huge time investment that most players aren't going to get it anyway which means that ultimately the manpower and man hours spent crafting something for P100 isn't necessarily worth it when it could be spent making something much more accessible to your playerbase. Another knock on downside is the psychological effects things like this have on a subset of players who have compulsion issues as really far reaching rewards can often prey on their psychology in a way that drives them to play far more than is healthy for them. DBD has always been fairly good about not making things so distantly obtainable that it really starts to mess with those who have issues like that.

The game has a battlepass with plenty of limited time exclusives, there is steady drip feed of things for direct purchase with auric cells and iri shards, plenty of free stuff via Prime Gaming and events. The game is good as it is, no need to slap something interesting at P100 only for like 3% of players to get it. I don't even know why made it scale up that high anyway because it isn't like once you hit P100 you no longer get bloodwebs. Should have just stopped at 9.

You realize we're asking for something like a recolor or retexture...nothing extreme I could make retextures for every character tonight to use for the prestige 100 rewards lol

  • omg so u hate killers and want all their addons to be useless?

  • W. Stop whining about skull merchant when shes not even close to being as problematic as you guys make her out to be. Just because you cant have fun playing against her doesn't mean everyone who does deserves to be punished. You're not anyone important so why should we listen to you about how we play or who we play?

Literally not true at all, people just don't want Killers like Skull Merchant or Knight who have extremely irritating and boring counterplay. Killers who have nothing but anti-loop are also boring because the counterplay will always without fail be to just hold W which isn't enjoyable for anyone. People want Killers like Wesker, Hillbilly, Oni, and Blight who not only have a lot of depth to them for both sides but also have fun and interesting counterplay.

Wheres the fun and interesting counter play to wesker and billy? Probably some of the most boring killers to face even wins feel like a snoozefest

  • True. Dead dawgs, Borgo, Toba, Garden Of Joy...only Eyrie, RPD, and Midwich dont have ugly red/pink skies and and 2 of those are licensed

  • BHVR seems committed to making only ugly maps with red skies going forward

    Why is Pig so low???

Because unfortunately she is without fail probably the worst killer in the game

They didn't confirm anything, all they said was that they would look into the possibility and nothing more, it was never a promise that anything would come out of it.

Also it's been proven that both Yun-Jin & Kate's sets does in fact have clipping issues with other cosmetic pieces.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/kzb2g8/explanations_for_why_cosmetic_sets_are_locked_and/?context=3

Not really anything that SO MANY OTHER outfits have. Bunny Feng, EVERY non set dress, Yui's community cosmetic pants have mismatched skin tone at the top that visibly looks glitched, Feng's halloween outfit, like 80% of Meg's cosmetics do I need to continue? We all got to use Yun-Jin's skin non linked before during the bug eras and all the pieces work perfectly fine lol

Edit: Btw Konami confirmed they didnt ask for the sklns to be sets and it was BHVRs decision for Cheryl's rare cosmetics lol
