Why would you pick someone up int he open? Use that opportunity to slug and gain pressure while these survivors are wasted time hovering around you. If they aren’t on gens they are wasted time you can use to chase and down.
So again this is an opportunity for the killer to gain extra pressure but if they misplay they get punished just as the survivors do. It’s perfect risk reward

That doesn't do much if the survivors good. "Slug and build pressure!" The survivor with the flashlight can just take chase while the person on the floor gets picked up right away and then it's just a reset. This mindset doesn't work when survivors taking a few seconds to heal another survivor off the floor, is much less detrimental than the killer having to restart a chase with another survivor.

Well AFAIK, the book doesn't even mention her being short or anything either and mentions a lot more about her powers which Is another thing I wanted to mention was how lack luster her power actually is. But I don't think this chapter is based on the novel at all as Yoichi, Sadako's add ons, Sadako's design, and the perks are all nods or pictures from the film series.

They said that but they didn't actually do it based on the novelization at all. Yoichi is Reiko's son both of which only appear in the movies. Yoichi's perks have references to the first and second film along with direct scenes from the movies (his perk parental guidance)

My exact thoughts! He's worse than Sadako and Pig and they're by far the worst. Its simply that he just does NOTHING special that survivors can't counter. I've gotten hit/gone down once today by a guard, other than that everytime I've faced Knight he's just an M1 killer with literally no ability and no slowdown even

Id take old ruin over new ruin anyday. Old ruin, did a gen and it still was okay. New ruin, if killer finds you all progress you made on that gen is now worthless

Feng was pretty popular before ring. If anything I would say it because she's a gamer over been Asian for popularity but that's just my opinion.

Well yes but she's more representative of the general Asian public who would be playing DBD than say Yui Kimura or Yun-jin or even Jake Park. They are very out there characters who are very unique while Feng is a run of the mill E sports gamer who likes to drink and have snacks. Relatable lore does help and her being East Asian at a time when a large influx of East Asian players join helped her popularity.

60% I think is a good balance. I think surviving should be very hard for an individual person but easier the more teamwork you do. Like in friday the 13th Jason won most of the time but survivors who were very good and co-ordinated were able to escape, not every game but enough. I think an ideal escape rate for survivor individually is balanced at 40%

Oh well, I'll just chalk it up to golden child Feng Min getting special treatment as usual. It's less of a headache that way.

I think this also stems from Chinese playerbase. Feng Min and the doctor are basically created by Chinese players because BHVR asked them what characters they'd like to see in the game. At the time there was a serial killer who had targeted gamers and Doctor is based on him. Doctor was actually going to be Chinese as well but since the serial killer is still alive and his victims aren't that long ago they decided to change his ethnicity and nationality to avoid too many similarities between the two. This is why Feng Min was shipped with The Doctor and why her name is probably spelled that way as it was mostly made by Chinese players.

See I didn't know that. I started late 2018 the cosmetic store was already in game and has always been in game for me. I will have to say that doea remove some of the weight that argument has.
I'm starting to think that her having the best cosmetic makes her so popular. I'm not saying it's the reason but think about it. You are choosing a survivor to main and you see Feng has all these really cool cosmetics so you main Feng because you like alot of her cosmetics.

I think it actually has more to do with Ringu. When the Ringu chapter dropped a very LARGE Asian playerbase joined the fandom and that was when we suddenly started getting a huge influx of Feng cosmetics. So I think its actually just that Feng is popular with the Asian playerbase and it raised her popularity a bunch (bonus since she's free on all consoles)
