So Im not sure whose idea it was to destroy these four recolors head pieces and give them Alexander's Genesis aka purple eyes, but it was terrible. I was just wondering if we'd be seeing any updates on updating the cosmetics in game that have issues anytime soon. So the entire reason survivors supposedly complained, whined, and got Skull merchant killed after her rework was supposedly because 'she has too much'. So recently, Houndmaster's add on 'knotted rope' was nerfed massively. Knotted Rope - basic attack cooldown when hitting grabbed survivors is reduced by 2% (Down from 10%) If that sounds terrible, it is. BHVR, by their own words, made this add on intentionally horrifically bad and unusable so that way they could 'avoid it being potentially problematic and revisit it in 2025'. This is a genuine question, why not just release the content when the PTB is supposed to drop so EVERYONE not just PC players get it early and then after 3 weeks (or the next week since the changes are made based on 1 week worth of player data) just do the changes? Before this I played maybe one match of DBD a week as I had pretty much lost interest in the game, but 2v8 really revived the love I have for DBD at least temporarily. When I say this I mostly mean in regards to her lore. She is the only survivor who we know has fought off the entity and won of her own will (unlike others who the entity played with, hers was a direct attempt at taking her and failing). I’ve always held the opinion that most killers in their own way can hold a type of 3 gen. However, even skull merchant at her peak was not comparable to Plague at max potential. So personally, I think the biggest problem isn't actually the nerfs but the lack of buffs in other things. Ofc the nerfs were imo justified all around, but other perks should've been buffed in significant ways for a true meta shake up!
