It would actually be pretty easy to to make the necessary change to Dead Hard (deleting it)
Or we can give it the haddonfield treatment and disabled it till the changes arrives. lmao. But that works too, I guess.
Anyhow, as a Clown main, the perk doesn't bother me at times. It does bother me when the survivors 360 and DH into my fat belly, thinking that they can go though me -_-. like #########? Even if you do, I back up and slap you silly...yes, I seen weird people use DH in stupidly odd ways that get them killed.

Sometimes i just get survivors, who once they get hurt and i am close on their back, they just keep running againdt the wall etc and if i hit them, they are just gone.
This is getting more and more common and its so unfair.
Also it is 100% not on me because if that happens, its ALWAY and ONLY on the SAME survivor.
No idea how lagswitching works on killer, had the luck to not meet one yet but the survivor one is already gamebreaking.
I belive OhTofu ran against one of those. There was an ash that was floating in the air and he was lagging all over the place.
-
I personally think that his base kit is fine but his add-ons need to be relooked at if anything.
The one thing that I am starting to hate is when someone sees a blight, they end up DCing out auto throwing, I don't blame them however.
-
Pretty sure I always got my rank reset rewards in the morning since I am in EST time zone.
But alright.
-
I use it when there four flashlight on a lobby. It gives me a good reason to run this build: Lightborn, Agitation, Startstruct, Iron Grasp. Cigar Box and Garish Make-up kid. Does it work? It does, lmao, but not always. If there are two people bringing flashies? Then I use the usual manuver to deal with flashlight saves.
-
I have a good feeling that they are going to change the add on once they go over the Ghost Face/ Legion update, which means, we have to deal with this situation for now and I don't think the devs will resorv it on the next hot fix/chapter. I might be wrong thou.
-
The only theory I have in mind on why is off is the legion of hackers that been plaguing the game ever since the MMR update.
At first, the main reason was because people been crashing thanks to the Circle of Healing making people crashing. The dev could had turned it back on as soon as they used the kill switch on the perk. With the hot fix that came out today and hte perk being fixed finaly, the only reason left on why it still off is because of hackers. Other than that, I can't think of another reason why is still off.
-
Preeeety sure i post the same thing last week lol.
But yes, this need to be addressed as I miss Trickster winking at me :<.

@dbd900bach said:
Yea this is an issue on all platforms I think but surprisingly literally no one talks about it at all. I tried reporting it but was met with no answer so I don't think the devs are ever going to fix it unless there's an outcry for it
Agreed, they need to bring back Pinhead's voice AND Trickster's wink. :I
-
The only way to deal with hacker is to take that 5 minute penalty or run to the corner of the map and go AFK, this will let the killer know that your not the one causing it.
Also, I am warning all Survivor mains. Hackers are capable of healing you from a mid to long distance. on top of that, if you're working on a gen and if the hacker is close by, the gen progression increases stupidly quick. They want to make sure that you're also responsible of the hack.
BHVR, For the love of god, update your easty anty-cheat program or try and banning them ASAP.
-
easiest find to find the box thanks to this video and I hope the dev see this and add a delay on it so where the box takes a few more seconds or so before it spawns. So the killer can't just find it easily.

There nothing more satisfying than gen rushing against a basement bubba whom got his NoEd license revoked. Was he pissed? Yup, xD. KINDRED MAN!!!!
-
yea it happen to me to
-
I had a game with bubba camping the basement and I can confirmed that I started a gen firstr, then one joined, pop one gen. Then I let the other surivor touch the gen first then I joined....and nothing. Confirmed bug, plz fix.
-
@GrimoireWeiss said:
I think the first penalty should be 15 minutes instead. It's not too long so it doesn't punish people who have urgencies but it's not so short that you can just rage quit, go to the toilet and come back for the queue.
Not a bad idea but game crashes are a thing sadly. :I

unless I'm mistaken it worked for me.
It worked for me as well, when the Tome came out but I recently tried it on my alt and I can also confirmed that this challenge is bugged.
But if you got it recently, do explain on how to get it then, plz :).
-
They should also buff Sacrificial Ward where it blocks EVERY map offering before a match start. Imagine using it only to see surivvors throw more than one map offering. But yea, I think Sacrifical Ward should come out in the blood web more often.
Otherwise Task manager will always be my friend whenever I don't feel like going to a specific map. I rather let the game take me elsewhere.

I feel like 10 minutes would be too long if we consider people’s games crashing unintentionally.
I honestly forgot about the game crashes lol. If the Dev manages to find a way for players not getting the DC penalty when the game crash then sure, 10 min would be fine. But you're right, 10 mins is a bit much at the current time.
-
Yea i seen Dowsey run that perk on PInhead and it's bunkers.
-
This challenge is bugged. I tried it with different add on and I could not complete it.
-
How to get out of a game when your not having fun.
1) Get the killer attention
2) Run towards your nearest hook and point at it and hope the killer is not merciful like I am.
3)######### on hook.
4) if a team mate saves you, repeat step 1 though 3.
-
"Survivor 1: would rather wait 5 mins than play against spirit"
There are times when I wonder if they should increase the DC penalties to 10 minutes rather than 5. You could argue that the person that just DC won't do it again, Sure, but having 10 minute at the start will stop the "It's just 5 minutes" mentality. But that just me.
-
If someone DC against me then a few things are going to happen 1) If someone DC within a minute of the game, then I'll farm. 2) If someone DC mid-match then whoever is left in the trial can have the hatch. But yea, that's just me.
-
I just went into a KyF game and yes, it is still bugged.

I'll make a new video about it when I get time.

Heres my approximation,
When the gen reaches 0% something is causing regression to be marked as interrupted as if it was done by a survivor since before this update if a gen reached 0% it simply turned red but a few updates before it the gen turned white even at 0% which was considered a bug.
That leaves the question did they actually fix it properly then, and their fix has encountered a problem, did they fix it properly now and every thing before was a bug
That a good question and I miss the white gen at zero bug, it was helpful lol. In anycase, I belive the solution to this now is just to count to 16 seconds, if it stay yellow then I have to go over there and shoo the surivvors out of it.

I theorized why this bug was occurring based on the description of a perk which was my original point before I got sidetracked by 2 people who rolled poorly on their history checks, then responded back to them.
Check the 2nd post.
And I get that it now says edited but it was 3 words edited in the last sentence edited for clarity so I'm offering you a chance to go read that since it seemed all you came here to do was insult me
First, if I did offend you, I am going to go ahead and apologise, so let's continue our discussion.
Okay so version 2.5.0: The fully regress generator turns yellow for 16 seconds, which tells me that the gen is fully regress.
Change log patch 2.5.0 says that the generator will glow yellow whenever someone touches it for 16 seconds but leaves out the "turn yellow when fully regressed" description out of the perk
While Trivia says If a Generator regresses completely to 0 %, the Aura will turn red again, not yellow.
Either is a bug or the dev forgot to add "Generators turn yellow when fully regress for 16 seconds" part ouf it. Hmm, there is a possibilty that hte perk went back to the old 2.5.0, but I might be wrong.
In anycase, I'll have to get used to it for now and see if the dev fix the bug, or wording, on the meantime.

Then why do you bother replying to this thread? Gens regressing to 0% aren't supposed to turn yellow, they never did until 4.7.0, it's clearly a bug. You're disingenuous.
I am going to ask you not to disrespect other players, my guy lol. Were trying to have a normal conversation here.

Double check it myself and you are correct.
Idk why the other guy photo-shopped their image to try to gaslight the bug as being a legit feature.
Trolling reason, I am assuming, lol.

Well lets consult description of the perk
well it says right there once the regression ends, generators will be highlighted yellow
meaning that when a gen regresses to 0%, regression ends
either the intended mechanic is functioning properly since a gen at 0% is identical to a regressing gen at 0% so no point in wasting resources to keep a gen marked as regressing and have it spew out sparks "finally"
or its a bug that regression ends when a generator reaches 0%
which for a bug it only has two interactions, it either stops regressing and overcharge loses its stored skill check on a gen at 0%, or it still counts as regressing but surveillance has the gen turn red. Either way I'm all for a surveillance buff and an interaction that has a skill check at 0% on a gen going since at that point it does absolutely nothing of value
Also, also, that picture is a lie. THIS is the true in-game description:

Since when did the dev slide that in!? According to the DbD Wiki, it says that it only glows yellow when someone touches the gen. Before the mid chapter patch, when the gen fully regressed, it used to turn from white, to red. But if the in-game description is correct, That makes this perk confusing to use then. Because if I go to a chase, I turn around to check on gens and I see one that is glowing yellow, right? I go over there and there NO ONE there. It's going to be confusing as hell if that the case. Not only that, a time wasting of a perk to boot. In anycase, I already stoped using it on my build until the dev either fix it or rework it in someway.
-
It happen to me once till I tried it one more time.
Solution: Use Haddonfield offering. Go straight to Myes house (The house with the pumpkin in the porch) get the killer attention by ether volting or blowing the gen in the second floor. Get in a chase, jump off from the valcony, run back and repeat progress as many as you can juuuuust incase.
-
Now, Imagine DCs happening during Tome V challenges. Its going to be rough, in my opinion. If I get DCs surivvors, I don't farm unless two DCs happens. I turn it into "Whoever is the last man standing get the hatch."
-
As a Clown main, which add-on are you talking about? Bleach or Ether 5/10/15%? By what I been told, the dev plan to buff him in the future, possibly next year. I use Flash of Bleach and Ether 15% for the extra slow down or Solvet Jug (Which is, in my opinion, his best add-on) and Thick Cork Stopper.
"Might be the case. I´d argue clown is stronger in chase than Freddy is though, Freddy just has the full package and is easy to use."
Sure, clown is stronger in chases but what happens when you run out of bottles? Cuz I am pretty sure Freddy doesn't run out of blood snares.
-
There was a Nea in the basment that was hooked in the corner, lmao this but is still in this patch.
-
I got all my challanges done and I can agree. There is a bug where I no longer view the tome story.
-
I have a feeling that I'll be DCing my self as soon as I enter Ormond cuz this bug plus that map is a huge nope.
And yes, please throw a hot fix asap.
-
That is intentional. It negates every hook related perks from both Survivor and Killer. No BBQ/Devour stacks. No DS/BT/Kindred ect.
-
This is not a bug. You got gifted 444,444 BP, correct? Then the new cap is 1,444,444 for one time only. So if you have, say 300K BP, you can max it to 1,444,444 BP. But once you spend that large amount, it reset to 1 Mil. I hope this make sense.
-
Yup! But as of the Hot Fix that drop earlier, it is now fixed.
-
the mind games, xD.

I suppose face camping encourages killer interaction, and hopefully people start running Borrowed Time more often to attempt a rescue.
Why is Object of Obsession so bad, in your opinion? I've only used it to gain adept Laurie, and another time on accident. What a weird round that was, trying to avoid looking at the killer so often. lol
Killers hate OoO because whomever runs it can tell what and where the killer is via voice chat. OoO also is a HUGE weakness on Freddy as well. The person that is running OoO can see Freddy at all times while the player is asleep. Meaning that if he's asleep, he can loop Freddy as long as he need to be since they know where Freddy is going at all times. Trapper hate it mostly because they can see where he's putting the traps, same with Hag and ect. HOWEVER! OoO get's heavly countered by stealth killers as they will see you but you won't see them so keep that in mind. I run OoO just to get better at chases and to warm up.
-
I am pretty sure I healed the obsession multiple time and can confirm that this is a bug.
-
There we go <3. Love this new BU! Buff.

A Buckle Up Buff indeed. Adding it to Kindred would be a bit much honestly. It could work amazingly well for those whom prefere Solo-queing.

@Onyx_Blue said:
@HPhoenix the best place to do it is at Shack. But it works at any vault based loop which has a large LOS block.
What you do is this: chase a survivor around the outside of the loop past the window, when they turn the corner, you quickly 180 but keep moonwalking following them, toss a bottle up into the air (so the shatter is as delayed as possible) then wait at the corner while hiding your red stain, the survivor will hear the grunt and most likely think you have vaulted, they'll then run back to the corner you're waiting at. You'll hear their footsteps approaching, then pop out and get a free hit/down.
The only times this won't work is vs a swf team that have a second survivor following along close-by to give callouts. Or vs survivors who just hold W. This tactic hard shuts down loops vs players that actually want to loop you.
That's complicated and I love it! I'll defently give that a try, thanks :).

Sounds more like a silly excuse for defending a stupid sound cue to me, sorry. I see much more potential in mind gaming yourself when trying to pull this off. but what would i know, I rarely play or encounter him, so ...
And this is why I main clown, so you can see him more in the game <3.
