I stopped playing killer and only play survivor now. LOL! I feel it is the opposite. Especially if you go against a SWF group. Pretty much cannot make ANY mistakes as killer.

I believe Vigil stacks, was this just one person running Vigil? Or several? I don't think it should stack at all.

They answered my post with "Technical Issue" and closed it. Directed me to contact support like i'm some troglodyte who doesn't know how to play an online game. I am xbox series x. Wired connection. Open NAT. I can play every other online game but DBD apparently. Frustrating.

Same here. Xbox series X. I am getting this and also crossplay is turned off and no option in the setting to turn it back on. I have never turned crossplay off. Wth?

I have had games with gens being done but more games that survivors just run around trying to heal the entire game. People fighting over unhooks, and not doing objectives. If 8 survivors actually do objectives then the game can be won. Can only chase two at a time. I don't take 2v8 seriously, but it should be easy to escape as survivor. Especially if you have gen boost roles. If you have two gen boosters, the game is easy mode.

I do all the time! Especially if I get irritated or upset with my teammates or the killer. I find that it rewires my brain to be positive rather than negative. I also give props when someone makes an amazing play!

Could create a steam account and add them as a friend that way. I have many friends on Steam but only play on xbox.

I have found this to be very true. I play solo que and yep, bots are better than most the players I am matched with. I am a low MMR survivor for sure, so I will have newbies….but some are just ridiculous.

Gah! I wasn't aware they were making an "Until Dawn" movie! I absolutely love Supermassive games! I was supremely disappointed in "Casting of Frank Stone." Like ######### man. Horrible writing, lame characters, only cool stuff was the dolls you could find.

This is actually a good point. There are a ton of players who have everything maxxed. I have played off and on for years and just now got my survivors all unlocked. The perks that is.

Yes, you need money to run a game. But what does that have to do with the overall experience a player can have in the game.
You said "pay to win?" I find the game experience fine, not great, but far better than it was a few years ago. Can't really have a discussion with you as I don't think we both speak the same language.

It happened quite a lot during this time in 2v8 that I stun or blind the killer and nothing happens and the survivor is still hooked.You can stun/blind 2v8, BUT I had it happen with Nemesis and it bugged out the game. I am pretty sure due to the flashlight blind just borked it out. I did a bug report on it. Was wild! Like the animation happened and spoopy.

YEP! Its not 2018 anymore, shouldn't 99 the gates regardless! Especially in solo que. I have died so many times from this crap. Only thing in this game that grinds my gears to no end. In 2v8 it is just embarrassing! LOL!

LOL, he's not. They balanced him pretty well in 2v8. At first I thought we will get a Legion running around, farming Frency and oneshots but that's not the reality. Sounds more like a skill issue to me, sorry. I can understand if you don't like to play against him, but he's definitely far from OP.
This. Same as playing against him in normal mode. Stun him out of power, locker, etc. Typically he cannot get his 9th person down if you are playing right.

Wdym what do I mean? Check the store and see for yourself. Plus, do you know how long and hard and annoying it is to get iridescent shards as a survivor? Just to get survivors that have decent perks that don't suck? Trust me, grind the game for a while and you'll see what I mean. How crappy the survivor perks are…how op the killers perks are and how much grinding you'd need to do just to get the characters that have good perks that aren't nerfed into the ground...or you could just play them and take the easy way. I shouldn't have to pay for anything to have fun or last in a game.
I have been playing this game for years, yes you need to either "grind" or "pay money." No one is going to make a game completely for free my friend….makes zero sense. It takes money to run, not hopes and dreams. I doubt you played this game years ago when you could barely get bloodpoints to buy addons etc…ahhhh…those days were horrible! THAT was a grind. I hate that you are frustrated, but it sounds like a resource issue not a game issue.

NICE! Clown is one of my least favorite killers to versus, him and trapper. That slowdown is brutal and traps give me PTSD! LOL! Have fun out there!

I guess you are one of those who enjoy waiting for 15 minutes? And if you are playing survivor then I guess you are just having fun doing more than 5 generators WHICH is nice I guess? Honestly the fact that nobody plays survivor anymore speaks volumes about the game.
I play survivor. I haven't played killer in years just due to not enjoying it much. Yeah, the que for surv is instant so that is nice. I enjoy it! Totally fine if you don't, should be totally fine if others do. That is why Baskin Robbins has 31 different flavors!

There is a middle ground though. It just an extremely volatile experience that new or seasoned players have to compete with expert level killer base kits and high level perks. Both low and middle level players are getting it up the ace. You can be decent...the game just expects too much of the community as a whole. And I'm not paying to win....I shouldn't FRACKING HAVE TO

I think it is the skill levels. IMO you are either very good at this game or very bad. Really no middle ground. High "MMR" SWFs can waffle stomp a weak killer player. I play solo que and I can say that most of the games I lose are due to low skill survivors, like myself. LOL!

I have 4 (Dwight, Meg, Kate and Thalita). I bought some of them twice though (on Switch & PC) before cross progression, so maybe that counts for more.

Same! I did not get any killer skins from that collection, but I do have about 6 survivor skins. Got the badge and banner.

They do have a hindered status power that I did not notice until too late. LOL! Not sure which killer power set it is, but if you are close to them you get hindered.

The bots in my games are more effective than 90% of the players I am with. They may be janky at times, but overall they understand what to do in terms of objectives etc. Now, to be clear I am not a high skill player at all…so I am going to be matched with other potatoes like me.

Ohh but you still have 1v4 bro! Well no, killer queues even in 1v4 are very long. People are literally taking a break from dbd during 2v8 thanks to this, and i am too.
I have been playing this game for years and have seen it change, good and bad. I used to have tons of friends who play, and I cannot get them to come back for anything. LOL! I totally agree on the Chaos Shuffle, I did not enjoy that mode at all. So I only played it for the tome stuff and then no more.

Killer is a lot of fun in either soloq or with a friend. Survivor is just pure chaos and i love it.
What I like most about this mode is the learning-value it provides. The relatively small killer roster makes learning survivor a lot easier as does learning the killers powers through the constant chasing aspect of 2v8.
On top of that, we have og Nemesis. The literal only thing that sucks is the queue on killer, but even that is tolerable.
Noice! Yeah, I have not had a boring match yet. The last match I just played the killers were memeing and let a couple of us out! I absolutely agree on the learning aspect. I am a terrible looper and this is helping me learn a bit. Trapper is my least favorite just due to being nervous about stepping in a trap. Have fun out there!
