Agreed

@The_Crusader currently rank ten, solo has always been pretty easy for me though.
(even at R1)
-
@Caretaker you are sounding very killer biased, both sides get good perks with every chapter/perk buffs. Btw my build is adrenaline, BL, SC and BK. These perks do not guarantee a win and I’ve used poised a lot, if the killer has eyes it doesn’t work out all to well.

Killer mains "balance the game around swf"
Devs *balance the game around swf*
Killer mains *proceed to dodge all swf lobbies until they get 4 solos with no items*
*Throws on iri heads, ebony mori, ruin, noed*
Killer mains: "You know I still think survivors could use another nerf or two."
I still find killer harder and as solo I actually escape a lot.

I like watching other people play than I like playing myself, I like watching people better than me. Can someone recommend a good survivor youtuber for me? TIA.

Btw, Nurse, Spirit and Hag have every single perk at lv 3, its like playing Kill Your Friends whenever i use one of them, didnt reach P3 with the Plague yet because i waste too much time waiting in lobbies.

As a console player I say, only legacy one? Git gud also loooool only p1 plague? I have every character p100 level 250.

I think we should have some see through loops still.

I do play at high ranks.
Using this perk is like putting yourself onto broken status. If you heal you will be seen until you're downed again; it can only be used once, is an obsession perk, and the survivor has no control over it, unlike decisive. the chances of this being good in the end game are 0
Not being able to take another hit is fine for the downsides it has
You do realize that people will 99% the heal and then finish it when you see them right?
-
Poised is fine the way it is.
-
The game isn’t too grindy IMO but that’s my opinion.
-
Is it the orange ish yellow glowing things on you or the blood?

If you put a good person on a wraith and a good person on the nurse against a competent survivor group, I can almost guarantee different results.
Not discounting your comment, as yes skill truly does matter, but some killers just have a greater advantage and ability to counter survivor antics.
I agree with you, I was saying that all killers have potential even the weak ones if used right.
-
@het52 here are the counters
- don’t work together unless preforming a hook/slug save.
- looping still works most every legion will respect pallets.
- stealth play works if you follow step one.
- 360’s work to an extent.
These are the legion counters that I can think about off the top of my head.

Shhh, don't tell them that. If you bring logic into it and show she's actually a weak killer they'll just scream you're a sweaty killer main or you suck. :o Also, I too 4k every match as every killer, no matter rank. Never lost a survivor ever. Everyone else's opinion is irrelevant.
Oops I already said too much I main Freddy without his power and I 4K every game.
-
@powerbats I find it funny when someone calls you toxic just because they don’t like your play style.
-
@BigBubs said:
In my opinion she is fun but the tryhards who want their 4k will tell you not to buy her cuz she is "weak". She may not be "strong" but that doesn't mean she isn't fun to play (if you're not a tryhard).
You don’t have to be a “tryhard” to think she’s weak.

Not throwing shade at killers in general but just sharing a funny story. I was facing this nurse today, obviously good. I got all 5 unhooks, did both gens that got finished and escaped her. At the end I was told off for playing immersed and the nurse not able to find me.
After a long rant and the other survivors defending the fact that the game is to hide and not be seen. Some killers get really salty and I am not sure why. I had a really good game. I GG'd them, why is there all this hate on both sides. The ending sums it all up.
Nurse is the only killer I recommend you play immersed against, this nurse was a crybaby.

@Axelson said:
I would rather buy legion than plague, it's a lot more efective but he's/she's like her: it depends so much in the add-ons you use. a mid-tier legion player with frank's mixtape can end chases as fast as a good nurse does.
Legion gets rekt if survivors don’t work together so be careful friend. :)
-
Plague is weak IMO just go to a LOS breaking loop cut corners and boom she is destroyed.

I 4k with Leatherface almost everytime. That means he's top tier judging by your logic.
Maybe @Bug_Reporter can’t play LF. :b

Honestly just remove BBQ's wallhacks and we'll be in a good spot with stealth again.
Literally every game as a survivor you have to play as if the killer can see your aura after each hook. It feels really cheap to get caught out by it and sometimes it's just plain unfair, especially in the cases of Nurse and Billy.
"b-but then killers will just hook camp!" BBQ is a BAND AID to a fundamental design problem with the game encouraging hook camping by forcing survivors to rescue their teammates from hooks. Why leave the hook when you'll eventually have another survivor run in and rescue the hooked guy?
Killers could camp the hook anytime they want with or without the perk and it could be a more viable strategy than leaving it, especially for one-shot killers like Leatherface / Billy / Myers. BBQ is just an INCENTIVE to leave it. It does not FIX the problem.
The devs can make Kindred baseline for survivors to mitigate the effects of this design flaw, but camping is still going to happen whether BBQ is in the game or not. So just get rid of the aura reveal, it breaks the immersion and capacity for stealth in the game to have a killer know your exact location seconds after hooking someone.
Lockers or distortion hard counter bbq so no bbq doesn’t stop the good stealth players.

Survivor is relaxation mode for me and that's as solo. Self-care is a joke for people that can't avoid the killer, need easy wake up vs Freddy, or can't plan around randos. If you really need healing, a brown medkit works just fine.
Self-care doesn’t equal bad player, self care is a decent counter against bad Freddie’s. If you run Bk you can get to full health quick enough.

Why don't you disable messages from people that are not friends? I did it.
I probably will soon, it doesn’t bother me when they do but I’d rather ignore them and move on to another game.

@The_Crusader Killer is almost the same so is survivor. They didn't change how u earn your emblem points they just let u earn more Emblems to pip getting 4 times gold every game brings u to red ranks. Not hard to do that if u die u just need to get one red Emblem instead.
Killer isn’t nearly as bad as survivor.
-
@master in official tournaments yes top tier killers are pretty needed but in the game not really.
-
@se05239 said:
The game would be in a healthier state overall if all killers were as viable as a Spirit or Hillbilly. Nurse is of course in her own category but there's a lot of killers who need help.
The developers' design philosophy of "fun to play but not necessarily viable", which gave us fan favorites like Legion, isn't healthy for a game that's portraying itself as competitive.
If you can play well then any killer can be good.

Rank does not matter, you'll find toxic survivors, CWFs, tbaggers, tryharders, everything on any rank.
Rank DOES matter red and purple ranks have a lot of good survivors green and below is usually killer paradise except now since survivors are having a hard time ranking up.

The thing is with the killers. My friend who got it has reached rank 1 as killer within the first 100 hours. and at survivor he's max rank 12 and he tries his hardest he says but he can't win a survivor game because killers have a guaranteed kill once the killer has started a chase...
He isn’t a very good survivor then.

That does seem unfair imo
The idea is that you slam the door into the killers face. Which means the stun should activate when it connects with the killer.
I agree with you, the fact it doesn’t makes it trash tier IMO.
-
You have to time the perk perfectly since the stun starts once you finish leaving the locker.

But that's not true, I've faced them and gotten wrecked and when I beat them it wasn't because they played bad. I learned from my mistakes before, I adapted, I changed strategies, pathed better etc.
If I get outplayed i got outplayed, I don't come here and make excuses for it, if I outplay them I know i still made mistakes and try and learn from them. If I played to my best and still lost then i did my best, no if's and's or but's.
The constant excuse making when people do bad is stupid all because they're ego's are so fragile they refuse to acknowledge it and get better. The excuses from the kiler side are especially funny because when survivors who're new complain they're told to git gud.
When killers complain it's excuse A to Z on why they did bad, it's never hey I played badly it's always something else.
I agree, but both sides make a lot of dumb excuses.

Why is it when a killer does really well then the survivors suck? Very annoying logic.
-
@Bug_Reporter you shouldn’t be getting paired with killers at a much higher rank than your survivor rank, killers also shouldn’t get survivors at a much higher rank.
-
And the killer said EZ? XD
-
This game is fairly balanced right now, you don’t need a top tier killer to be good and you can still beat a swat team if you’re good enough. But killer isn’t easy.

You're other perks/bad survivors/you playing well are what is causing you to do well, it has nothing to do with Thanata. Correlation, not causation. Thanata is trash and its effectiveness is placebo. This has been thoroughly tested already as to its effectiveness. You're going to give bad hags bad habits.
Thana is underrated, I love the perk and it’s very useful.

Any tips for hag @Poweas? :)

MoM is incredibly strong, flip flop is strong if you let it be and buckle up is weak.
