Oh wow, he used his power, and tried to mindgame. Which is what a killer's supposed to do to get the survivor. So being a straight M1 killer would be better? It would have shaved off maybe, what, 2 seconds? Regardless of if he got hit, the survivor still played the "useless" tile for more than 5 seconds.
No, he played like #########. If he actually did a good mindgame or used his power correctly he could have got the hit sooner, lmao.

"Free hit," eh? I'll just let this do the talking.
https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkxx6Auh8pB1Altd13bUeLU7-PePd-Tyar2
You just proved their point? Tru3 played the tile terribly with those moonwalks that only work on survivors with less than 100 hours, misused his killer power and still got a hit on the window.
-
Why nerf a trash perk? I'd say at least 90% of the pallets in the game you can just hold W after the stun and it's enough to last the whole duration of the perk.
-
Because Huntress is a strong killer and Clown isn't, it's not that deep. If you know you're going against Pinkie Clown just pre drop pallets and you'll be fine.
-
On my best killers (Ghostface, Nurse, Oni, Artist, Huntress) I seem to get the most potato teams to go against but God forbid I try to play a game of Demogorgon or Pyramid. MMR is just pure randomness.
-
The only hexes worth running are those combos that you actually want survivors to break: Plaything + Pentimento, Undying + Haunted. Otherwise yeah they are trash. First that most hexes are not strong enough to warrant the "Hex" status, aside from the trap Hexes the only one that is kind of worth it is Devour Hope, which is pure RNG if you can get to 3 stacks.
-
The only people saying that are Hag mains.
-
I like using Iri Tag, Alch Ring + Lethal, Infectious, Distressing and Deerstalker for... You know what 👀🤭
-
Shadowborn in the form of a slider
Mini-Corrupt that lasts until the killer starts a chase
-
The period of time between Ghostface and Blight chapters. Everything felt good, the chapters were great and I could play DBD for 4 hours straight and not feel bored. After Twins' release and the map reworks the game started going downhill for me, can't play more than 3 matches in a row now, but I still have fun with it so I guess it's okay.
-
Yeah I pretty much don't play anything below A tier as well. Playing those killers feels like flipping two coins: one hoping you don't get a coordinated team and other hoping you don't get a ######### map.
-
It's just old Ormond but yellow.
-
He's okay, not really strong, but not really weak either. Could use a few buffs but overall he's okay. He could be a bit more silent in Nightfall and the locking the locker animation needs to be a bit longer imo.

Blood lodge is good? I hate playing there, it always feelt like a giant deadzone
It's not Eyrie of Crows or Cowshed, but it has a good density of loops.
-
The third change wouldn't be necessary with the first one.
About pallets, what if she couldn't traverse dropped pallets and the blink would break the pallet and give her a longer cooldown (kind of like Blight, but a tad bit longer). Would make them a bit more useful against her.
-
Remember that DS and OTR don't work on endgame. Adrenaline is one of the few perks that will give you a chance of survival during the end of the match.
-
I stay around but the rest of the match don't expect me to do gens as well.

some are killer sided and others balanced, none of them are survivor sided with t he exception of groaning house. the others or are small or easy to 3 gen so why dont u try again? why do killers always bring Mac millan and azarov offerings? Exactly i responded it for you.
I see way more survivors bringing Autohaven/MacMillian than I see killers. The only killers I see bringing those offerings are the killers that get screwed in indoor maps like Blight and Billy.
But if you want it: Groaning Storehouse, Suffocation Pit, Blood Lodge and Gas Heaven are all survivor sided.
The only killer sided maps in these realms are Shelter Woods and Azarov's Resting Place. Everything else is balanced or it just slightly tilts to the other side.

yeah the killer sided maps over and over again with the potential exception of farm maps, survivors want their fun too
If you think MacMillian and Autohaven are killer sided you should consider improving your survivor skills.

Uniquity is what makes this game enjoyable.
I'd love new maps if they were fun to play on. If the uniquity this game offers is trash like RPD, Haddonfield, Badham, Eyrie and Garden of Joy I'd gladly take only 10 maps to play on. Most multiplayers don't even have that many maps anyway.

"Legion is worse to face than any other killer"
- Nurse exists

- Pinhead exists

Ah yes. Mending for 12 seconds = boring... BUT healing myself multiple times in a corner of the map with Boon: CoH (which takes 24s) is fun! I also LOVE repairing for 90 seconds, but god... I AM NOT spending 12 seconds mending!!!!!
I'd take 10 games of Nurse, Artist and Doctor than a single game against Legion. Pinheads stinks as well though.

You need to commit kicking a generator, or you play with one perk less. It is balanced
You say like kicking a gen is a huge commitment of time lol. You usually kick gens after hooking a survivor and while patrolling gens, it's not that big of a deal and it gives you huge value when you eventually get a down with Eruption. Killers like Wesker and Blight can literally kick gens mid chase and not even lose distance.
-
I'd pay for this game to only have a rotation of MacMillian/Autohaven/Coldwind minus Cowshed.
-
It means the survivor is Broken and they can't heal themselves or be healed by teammates. This David probably has No Mither, which is a gimmicky perks that permanently applies the Broken status to the survivor using it.
https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Status_HUD here's a page with all status effects in the game, very useful.

Yes. There would be no risk for killers since they'd just have infinite hooks with no worry of making deadzones. That would take away a piece of what little strategy and resource management goes into killer gameplay.
There's no "strategy" in this. You can't choose where you want to hook survivors because of the wiggle mechanic. If all survivors go down in the same corner of Midwich where there's only a single hook available what "resource management" am I supposed to do lmao
-
Yeah, this trend of making perks useless just to remove them from the meta is pretty worrying.
-
Suggestion: groups who bring map offerings should automatically be matched with S tier killers.
-
Most people who play this game are normal people who get home from school/college/work and want to turn off their brains and chill while playing. They usually go on Youtube and search "best build for killers 2022" and replicate them without even thinking why the build is strong. The "tug of war" you talk about is not really fun for the casual player who only plays a few games a day.
I used to play like this as well when I had less than 1000 hours in the game. Eventually I got bored and started doing my own builds, but the majority of the playerbase does not even have that many hours. At the end it's BHVR's fault for not balancing these loadouts, not the players who are using them.

People will tell you that if solo queue survivors just had more information, they’d perform similarly to a SWF. But like, that isn’t true. SoloQ players can run a plethora of aura-reading perks (Kindred, Bond, Empathy, Alert, Dark Sense, and more) and will still play subotimally. Because it’s not really about information; it’s matchmaking that creates dysfunctional survivor teams.
Basically this. Solo queue wasn't that bad when they first implemented MMR because it felt like it prioritized balance over queue times. Now it seems they have made the matchmaker way more lenient to prevent longer queue times, which is resulting in solo queue being an absolutely hell because you never have 4 survivors around the same skill level.
-
Right now probably Artist. Strong killer but she doesn't have broken addon combos like Nurse, Blight and Spirit have
-
Most survivor perks do affect the whole team though. If you use Dead Hard and buy an extra 20 seconds of a chase, that's 60 extra seconds of gen time you just gained if your team is playing correctly. The only exception would be truly selfish perks like Low Profile and Left Behind, but these are the minority and they are rarely being ran.
-
rip billy
-
How dare a killer gets value out of a perk
-
I haven't touched a M1 killer in months. If you aren't willing to hard tunnel and camp with the sweatiest builds, which I find to be very boring, you're just up to a miserable time on most maps with these killers. Thinking about it, the only killer below A tier that I still play is Deathslinger.
This game really needs a map overhaul like the one they did in April 2020. I'd honestly take reverting all killer buffs and survivor nerfs in 6.1.0 for a 25% size reduction in all maps and a fix to main buildings.
-
I think you posted the wrong picture. Can't see the "5 gen" there.

That's a problem with Nemesis tho not Wesker.
They need to buff Nemesis' infection to actually do something and be a threat for the survivors so they're forced to remove it like wesker does.
But I agree the hindered effect could be removed, but keep the exposed.
Maybe Wesker could keep the exposed and Nemesis could use the hindered then, considering Nemmy suffers a lot with W gamers
-
I like Corrupt Intervention + Deadlock on slow killers and No Way Out + Deadlock on faster killers. I think passive slowdown is way better than active regression.
-
I just don't see the purpose of the hindered and exposed on full infection. Nemesis is weaker than him and his infection barely does anything, so I don't see the logic on a stronger killer having a stronger passive.

The killer: sees a bad map for him
Always the killer: alright, where's the door?
Kind of like survivors do already when it's a killer they don't like lol
-
Hens made a video about that, his best outfit gameplay wise is the recent one he got in the last rift because it's the only skins that doesn't make those weird noises: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_TofsViUec&t=67s
-
They make these cosmetics because they sell. I don't know why you're so bothered by it, nobody is forcing you to buy them.
-
The game is usually pretty fun, it's just that we tend to remember more the bad experiences, which is why on the forums and reddit it feels like everybody is being miserable.
-
I just don't take the game seriously whenever I load into this map. I just go chasing the first survivor I find without caring for gens and I'm happy to get some points. It's just not worth the hassle, it's a terrible map, can't believe this actually came out in 2022.
The thing I hate the most is how they added random junk around the corners of the shack there so you get stuck as both killer and survivor if you try to run it like you do in other maps. The devs certainly know what looping is, in what world adding random junk that makes looping worse is a good decision?
-
There's like 3 killer sided maps in the game opposed to 20 survivor sided ones
About the door game, it's completely RNG. Sometimes the killer doesn't even have to move to patrol both doors, others they are so far apart that not even Blight can patrol them.
-
Because this whole meme stopped being fun in 2019
-
Please no, I love the free hits.
-
Used to be a Ghostface main but since his rework I can't help but feel they completely butchered his stealth mechanic. Other killers I liked playing were Wraith and and Nurse.
I've been digging a lot with the M2 killers recently: Artist, Pyramid Head, Slinger, Huntress, etc.

They said they just wanted to change the meta.
Such a shame, how bad the balance team is.
Yeah but the meta is still the same. Both perks essentially work the same way: you kick a gen to get a % of regression. The problem is that Eruption is way unhealthier than Pop was.
-
Yeah, I really want to know the thought process behind thinking Pop deserved a nerf but Eruption is ok.
