After my 4th match in a row with a killer having 4 gen regression perks which 2 of them used to max efficiency resulting in 4k with 1-0 gens done against soloQ. I just wonder, why there hasn’t been a mechanic to limit regression perks as there has rightly been done so on the survivor side with exhaustion/endurance stacking.
Aa...
- You can't kick a gen if it's already regressing.
- You can't kick a gen if it's blocked by the Entitiy.
That alone means that Pop and Deadlock can literally mess you up. Same goes for Dead man's switch with Pop, Pain res + Pop, Surge + Pop, etc...
You can say that killers do have an "exhaustion mechanic for gen regression".
And even without it, survivors who simply sits on gens will do them within 5-6 min.

Survivors already found a loophole to your flashlight bug. They use Nostromo Wreckage map offering, find the keycard and open the door with a chest inside that gives them a flashlight after opening it. They are abusing this with full intention to use the locker bug.
I have seen countless of streams already with survivors doing it for hours, no, days since the start of your killswitches.
You have to take action right now. They're ruining matches for countless of players.
Maybe killswitch chests...? No...? Ok...
-
If you talking about solely for "getting up with mmr for tunnelers", I absolutely agree, let them play against the opponents who know how to deal with this play-style.
As for slugs...? I don't understand why you "implemented" slugging in there tbh.
You also have something about killers afking in your matches...
Please correct your thread. I'm having a "brainfart" each time I'm trying to read what you wrote, not gonna lie.

Really sad to see how many save cheaters are getting exposed. They should all be banned. Idc if they are cheating in the game or not cheating is cheating and if you save cheat you most likely have access to game cheats too.
The do cheat in game, but very subtle. (Cheating in a way, that no one will notice)
What is the point of having a cheats which only gives you access to things such as icons or banners?
If you see them having such banners or icons - you are not wrong to think that they were having auto-DH or wall hacks.
-
No, not yet.
Have you reported them?

have you seen my thread I made with video no flashlights used.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/399976/exploits-or-a-hackers#latest
Yes, I've seen it and even wrote something on your thread.
But no, both Dwight and Ace were having a flashlight, and I've seen opened chests through out the match.
I reported them both with evidence in the game and created a ticket. I'd like to know what will happen to them after.

I would rather this to be fixed. They are still doing that.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love to play against flashlights. I just find it funny how some people can't play without their beamer. That's it.
Flashlight saves - one of the most (or probably THE most) fun mechanic when you play a survivor.=)
It's like playing a Piggy without her head-traps (or ambush), you know?

Oof, the lack of confidence in this post. Why are you trying to hype yourself up in front of other people to see?
Dropping palettes is far from being sweaty, it's called playing the game. Try it !
*Politely ignoring the first 2 sentences.*
Did I say dropping pallets, or PRE-Dropping? Do you know the difference between looping the killer and pre-dropping + Shift+W to the next tile?
Or should I ask... Do you know what "Pre-dropping a pallet" even means?
-
"How people play in the game - doesn't reflect on how they behave in real life"
I'm so sorry, but... Sometimes this sentence just doesn't work, when a grown "a" man behave like that in a video game.
Or maybe they are an actual kids, I don't know. Either way, embarrassing behaviour. Don't do that survivors, don't be an "holes".
Play the game fair, don't violate the game's rules.
-
Remember my thread about it, maybe 2 months ago? About: "Why survivors are allowed to pre-drop and instantly run to the next tile without any punishment?"
After MMR changes, it feels like survivors just gave up on looping, they don't even look behind them, because why even bother?
"Is this really how they play on high MMR just to win?"
Boring as hell, there is just 0 skill involved from both sides.
Well, whatever... When I see survivors play like that (it's called a sweaty tactic btw), I will play "sweaty" as well. And it's not going to be "pretty".=)

@HalloweenKid909 said:
I know tunneling isnt against the rules but I got reported by a ttv and his swf for tunneling , if I get reported for tunneling a lot could I get banned?
You answering the question yourself.
It's not in the rules\isn't against the rules = no any punishment.
-
It depends on preferences.
I feel pretty sitisfyed when I simply outplaying other player. It's a reward for me on it's own.
Not only in DBD, any game.
The Pip system is pretty janked for survivors I'm not gonna lie. For killers it feels ok.

Man I love BP so much that I just stockpile it and forget to spend it...
They should give random items/offerings alongside the BP, the rarity representing the position on the leaderboard.
This one is just what I was thinking. Something else besides BPs as a reward after a well played match would be awesome to have, things like: Items, offerings, addons, or even additional Iri-shards.
But! The game can become more "sweaty" and competitive, if there will be high rewards for best plays. You know?

That addicted?
Even as a killer "main", I would love them to return before holidays, because I would rather survivors play more aggressive and try to flashlight saves, instead of repairing the living hell out of generators, because they've got nothing else to do.=)
They better return at 14 of December, since there will be no updates until January. If I'm not mistaken.
-
We just had a MFT change, soon we will have other changes to other "stale" perks.
The maps are being reworked\changed slowely, but steady.
"Whats with the loading times again, did I miss something?"
-
No, no one were using Lightweight at the end, besides, I don't think they will be so "consistent", if he was using this perk.
-
Just had a match against "TTV squad".
Despite me having Pain res and Pop with somewhere around 20-30sec chases, they did all 5 gens within 6 minutes.
Tho it was a pretty close game, no tunneling from my side - somehow 2k.
Saying for the 293829 time - There is NO way of thinking about 4k, without tunneling. Pain res and Pop are strong perks to slow down the game, but still isn't enough against survivors who legit sits on gens.

One of the things that are important for this game is fun. If we talk about killers, best killers are those who are both fun to play as and verse. I am curious, which killers do you guys feel are fun for both sides, and which killers are not so fun for both sides?
--My experience--
Killers that I find really fun to play as, and fun to verse:
- Huntress, Bubba, Deathslinger, Blight* , Nemesis, Wesker, Xenomorph** , Chucky***
Killers that I find bad or miserable to play as and against:
- Knight****
(*) I rarely play as Blight, but his bouncing is fun and the hits satisfying. Also, I love facing Blights, unless they are god tier, and/or use the broken addons
(**) Xeno is fun to face unless my teammates don't set-up turrets
(***) I don't yet own Chucky, but from what I've seen, he seems really fun to play as. I love versing him though, both due to his dash mechanic, as well as the funny commentary. xD And he and Tiffany are cute.
(****) the brown addon "Map of the Realm" is required, if I want to be able to do anything, the guard placement is too finnicky, experienced survivors use techs to trick guards. Playing against him also feels bad.
You are not going to have a conclusion out of such question.=)
50 different players gonna answer 50 different killers.

@Raconteurminator said:
Nope.
Nope.
-
One of the main reason - 9 out of 10 games are against Chucky.
-
My current opinion:
I see Piggy - I must boop at least once, no matter whats gonna happen to me.Low - medium killer in terms of chase.
Pretty hardcore in terms of built-in slowdown.
Very jumpy and scary sometimes. (depends on a player)
Her "squicks" at the pallet stun are adorable. (Almost like Xeno's)
I haven't played as her, but it's always fun to watch when someone playing as her.

@Embrace_The_Fog said:
easy solution, don’t play killer. I’m not playing killer til bug is fixed. Queue the queues
Relax, they killswitched the reason that was caussing the exploit. (Flashlights) But it has to be fixed before holidays.
-
Tbh, I don't have many issues with the map both sides, just these 2:
- Map feels pretty big.
- There is an easy 3 gen because of main building have 2 gens in it.
Main building feels pretty ok to me. There is a lot of gaps to follow the survivors when they vault, (on a second floor) and breakable walls.
And 1 or 2 (if I'm not mistaken) God pallets which you can just break as a killer.
On a survivor side feels strong but not too safe, if the killer have the experience with this main building.
-
I don't think you need those rates, you know them yourself.=)
-
@Komi said:
It says a lot about players when they not only abused this the first time, but immediately pounced on it again. Every survivor needs to report them, because playing "fair" shouldn't been seen as an anomoly or a disadvantage.
It Sucks man.
We do have a really good survivor players which are really good sports.
Once they noticed that their teammate doing that, they were trying to pull them off the locker, yes, they were helping the killer at this point, but will you report them for doing that? There is not a single morale way to even think so.
Other teammates can prevent this or they can join.
The other thing that really sucks - now everyone just lost flashlights for unknown period of time. Even the ones who were trying to prevent their teammates from exploiting.
-
Rightfully so. Because someone can't play the game without exploits.
-
There is something off going on with the game after last bug-fix.
And there is A LOT of subtle cheaters playing the game atm.
I'm not crazy either, I'm convinced that subtle cheaters are infesting the game right now.
-
I don't trust that face...
-
You are Evil!
-
Aaa... I'm not gonna lie, I've never seen these 2 gens so close on GoJ before. This might be a bug.
-
"Hey! Put your "Tweak" away from my Huntress!" - Is how I feel right about now.
She's a highly skill dependant killer. I don't think she needs any "tweaks".
-
"Oh please let it be a good change for Monitor & Abuse and Shadowborn..."

I wouldn´t trust a game company that instantly and harshly deletes critisism.
There are a couple of games on my wishlist, which i really would like to buy&play. BUT their forums are what you are asking for and the strong censorship reflects on a lot of negative steam recesions. Which is why i´m not spending any money on them.
Valid criticism isn´t something to be afraid of.
Trust?=) I would get the hell away from the game developers who can't take constructive criticism. xD
One of the reasons I'm sticking to Behaviour is that they listen (read) the complains that players have, and trying to improve the game based on that.
-
I mean, you can't just Snap your fingers and change licensed killers power completely. It must be changed wisely without losing "lore components".
Instead of making Xeno like Sadako, they should make Sadako like Xeno, and remove the cooldown from TVs at the beggining of the match.
Legion is a low tier killer, why you want to ground them more?=)
Trapper and Hag are territorial killers with pretty outdated powers. They need a full rework imo.
If you want to rework the Knight, it makes no sence that you don't want a full rework for Carmina. She is basically a better version of Knight in terms of anti-loop.
"Can we just leave the Nurse alone?"
Clown should not be even touched. Same goes for Plague.
Do you actually think Chucky is fine? =)
-
Oh thats TOTALY fine, why would they stay in an "unfun" match, when they just can freely leave and ruin the experience for 4 other players in the match?
Right, @Pulsar ?

Well, people like what they like. In the end of the day it's a game and people have the right to dislike elements of a game. I dislike Trickster. Do I say that there is no counter to him? No. I just say I dislike playing against him.
Not everything is in regards to gameplay as well. I dislike Tricksters visual and sound design as well. That's just my opinion though.
In my mind, it's not about the killer, it's about chosed gameplay.
I see people saying that they don't like playing against Hag, because she is putting 10 traps around hooked survivors.
But what if they got against a Hag which not trapping hooked survivors at all, and playing solely to trap "high-traffic" areas? You know?
Personally I don't hate any killers to face, I can only "hate" their chosen gameplay (tactic).
-
This thread is literally showing that players in this game don't like challenges and lazy to learn the counter.
I've had to say this, sorry.=)
-
For me it can be even 0k with 8 hooks.
I define a match as balanced when both sides has a pretty close and tough game. Such games for me are MOST FUN!
I mean, it's pretty obvious tbh. If you "stomp" or you got "stomped" for various reasons aside from your skill (map or killer) - it's not what you can call - "Balanced match".
With recent MMR changes, I'm started to get more of those tough games. But I'm not complaining even slightest, unless I played against legit subtle cheaters.
-
@moulesfrites said:
whats the point of this perk when you have franklin's demise or lightborn?
It's one of the main issues with the game's balance.
We have a better versions of the perks at doing their job. (Not only perks, but killers as well.)
As you said: "Why using this, if you can use that basically for the same outcome?" - This is EXACTLY what creates a meta in this game.
-
I have a better question: Why even tweak something about Huntress?
-

A lot of them arent animation changes, its straight up bugs
I was looking at writing a thread on the bug report section to try to compile all the bugged animations/aesthetics in the game. There are SEVERAL and some of them have been in the game for far too long
And yes, I did that as well. I created multiple posts about animation updates and "aesthetics" of the game with certain killers, but Hag mostly.
I know that Huntress has the same issue with lunge and wipe (idle legs). I need to check out now tho...
I'm still waiting for Developers to start making a proper rotating animation (looking around) for all old killers that doesn't have those.
You can clearly see the difference on this video: pay attension when Trapper "shaking his head - no".
-
@GentlemanFridge said:
This isn't a regular lunge animation tho. A killer carrying a survivor can neither lunge, nor wipe.

Well, I'm sure they're doing some sort of Online PVE game where you can team up to fight different types of enemys within DBD lore.
Definitely worth watching, but I'm not sure, will it be worth playing tho, not a big fan of PVE games.
-
Have you updated your game? (If not - that is the issue)
My q times for both sides are fine, as usual.
-
Strong and comfortable to use perks. You forgot Dead Lock btw.
-
"Hag - Add a minimum range between traps. Even though I don't play against many Hags, it's stupid to see them place 5 traps around a hook and sit within 30m of the hook to make sure no one goes for a save."
If Hag doing that in your matches, this is a free escape for you. Believe me, you're up against a baby Hag player.
You should be worried, when Hag don't trap hooked survivors at all...
If they said that they are gonna fix 3-gen, they are going to do it.
Once they said that they are gonna fix Face-camping. And they did it.
-
I mean... I think my home and around it, will be a pretty balanced map, fair for both sides.
I've tested it multiple times. (Don't ask please...)
