With killer perks getting changed to loss of a health state, a lot of perks are becoming interesting for trapper. Even eruption with a certain add-on.

don’t get me wrong, CoH needed a nerf as well. But there has been great stuff that was not mentioned in the dev news prior. And little naive me hopes they see and react to the CoH nerf pleads for the live update…

Survivor perks mostly have a history for taking time to adjust. The game is changing for sure. Just not sure if it’s in a positive way.

It’s funny. I’m a Claudette main and I was never tunneled by a smart face. Been tunneled a lot by normal LF though. 😅.

I don’t know what my MMR is but my trapper experience has gone to ######### so nice the system came out. Oh well. 🤷♂️

I would say the formula it uses is broken and that SBMM is not necessarily the issue by itself. It certainly changed the game and I cannot say that my games have been better for it. Just don’t base it off of kills and escapes. Look at perks used, items, offerings, number of hooks, number of gens completed, unhooks, etc….
They have all this data. Use it. You can see the escape rate on killers. On maps. It’s not rocket science. It’s skill science. Lol.

No first match was back water and I jump over the ledge of the boat no balance and do it again but drop the pallet I never teabagged or anything and I got camped.
The match I repair a gen get downed and camped.
It happens sometimes. I stunned a ghost face not too long ago and got face camped with all gens still up. I was running open handed and kindred. My teammates decided I was to be a sacrificial lamb and they did gens until I died. It just happens sometimes

It’s actually a reason some survivors get face camped. They do too well and get camped once they’re hooked.

It depends on the circumstances. If it’s a strategic play, no problem. If there are five gens still up and I’m running kindred with open handed, ######### em. Especially if they’re all healthy.

Heh. I’m the grumpy old man with chronic pain. I’m sure everything comes across as passive aggressive at that point but hating life is just natural for some, unfortunately. I’ve never been particularly good at life but I’m stubborn so I keep trying.

I’ve been playing a lot more survivor for a lot of months now. I still play killer but it’s only for a round or three and I’m back to playing gen jockey.

Swf should've never been more than two players at most. You could have two two-man teams then. Otherwise just grab one more person and play kyf and leave the killer piñata out of it.

I never was really good with her but I can’t really tell a huge difference in how she plays since she was modified. I do love her chase music though. It’s my favorite now I believe.

I screw up all the time. That’s why I don’t rant on here. Also, the limitations imposed by the game can be frustrating but what can you do? lol

I get heart palpitations sometimes when I’m playing killer. I get adrenaline rushes easy so it happens during intense matches. If your games are lagging like that you’re going to lose as killer regardless of skill on your part.
your post sounds more like a letter to the family you’re leaving behind. It echoes a letter my brother wrote years ago. I would say to let the game pass by and move on to something better for you. I don’t know what platform you’re using but if it’s PlayStation, I can recommend some things if you’d like.

It could work, but a lot of the infrastructure around solo would have to change to support it.
SWFs wouldn't have a problem, but it'd just be another thing keeping solo down, since we're suddenly expecting teamwork and communication in a mode so notoriously lacking in both.
It would certainly have its issues but just about anything introduced into the game at this point could cause potentially small to huge problems. I play almost 100% solo and don’t run things like DS or DH very often but i could see some fights over my kindred lol

I don't think having people fight over who can bring what perk is necessarily a healthy idea.
Never know but it would either introduce more teamwork or divide the team further. Part of surviving is how the other survivors interact. It would also let each survivor know what perks were in use. Good info for solo players. This will never happen of course. It was just an idea I’ve had for a long time.

I always thought survivors should have to select their perks on a shared screen amongst the other survivors with no perk being allowed more than once and only if it is unlocked for that particular survivor. It would ensure perk diversity amongst the 4 survivors it could cause some issues I’m sure but it would allow for interesting games.

That’s been part of the issue. I rarely use higher than brown except with Myers when I use dead rabbit.
I had a match a minute ago where I tried my Trapper boy again and used his purple bag for the first time since his pass over. I’m not sure how I feel about it but that’s another discussion entirely.

It’s been less enjoyable at times for me. Seems like lately I’ve been having a lot of trouble tracking a survivor after I injure them. Not sure what the deal is there. I’ve had some pretty sweaty teams now and then but nothing like you’ve dealt with. I dont see a huge skill difference in survivors regardless of what killers I use. I’ve had to stop using my Trapper main because I just can’t touch survivors with him anymore. Apparently when MMR kicked in I was doing pretty good with him. I’ve been off my game now for awhile or something changed.
