Because that's how Mafia works.
-
Freddy was already nerfed. They basically deleted his slowdown add-ons.
-
I'd rather face Head On than any other exhaustion perk as Killer honestly. Doesn't tilt me at all. It's pretty funny actually!
-
There are so many simple number changes that could be made to drastically increase quality of life for a lot of Killers, this being one of them. I don't understand how this hasn't been implemented yet. It's probably the most common suggestion I see for Trapper.

Why tf am I killer at rank 12 and being placed with survivors at rank 4? It really doesn’t make sense to me. It’s so annoying to have to deal with and it honestly makes the game un enjoyable.
To put it simply, there are too many Survivors in the red ranks currently and there are not enough Killers to match with them. So matchmaking decides to match any rank Killer with them just to get the game started.
This is exacerbated by continuous nerfs that have caused Killers to switch to Survivor or leave the game completely.
-
I can't believe you put Clown and Legion above Freddy and Hag.
-
Unless additional objectives are going to be added, both gen speed and toolboxes need to be looked at.

We can't lower the skill check zone. Then we're just back to the same issue of small skill checks being "too frustrating" for new players they want to milk the wallets of.
I know, you're right. I doubt anything will be done. I guess I made this post hoping there were others like me that think skill checks are too mundane.

Taze your leg every time you don't get a great skill check. That should spice things up a bit.
Hahahaha good tip. Maybe I'll try it sometime ;)

Great skill checks will still be very much worth going for. I go for them almost always. That's one reason why I never had an issue facing Ruin.
Sure, I'm not saying great skill checks are worthless. Just that skill checks are.. well, boring. They need to be made more dynamic somehow.
-
Just wanted to say you don't need to kick gens with the new Ruin. They regress automatically when not being repaired.
I agree with you though.
-
The Spirit is essentially The Grudge to me. She's based on all the Asian spirit girls in horror films.
-
Today I learned what SBMM means.
And no, matchmaking and the rank system are functioning poorly right now.
-
Had the same issue. Couldn't access the site for quite awhile. I wonder what happened.
-
Not to be rude but, are you gonna make a topic about every perk in the game and ask if anyone uses it?
And yes, I like to switch between Dead Hard and Sprint Burst nowadays.

You don't seem to understand.
If Ruin makes it to the late game its all over. Survivors are as good as dead.
You don't seem to understand. My post is about Stake Out, not the power of Ruin. Read again please.

He relies on Survivor mistakes to get downs, so he is weak.
HOWEVER, if the Survivor does make a mistake, he is devastating at punishing it.
Therefore, he's essentially a noob stomper.
-
There is a severe lack of Killers playing at the moment.
Also, Survivors are being funneled into the red ranks because of the rank reset changes. There just aren't enough Killers to match with the massive amount of red rank Survivors currently.
-
Borrowed Time seems like a straight upgrade if you wanna protect the unhooked person.
And no, I never see people use Babysitter lol
-
@youarewronglol said:
everyone uses it, out of the big 4 it is easily the most common
Hah I wish everyone used it. I can't count how many times I've gotten unsafely unhooked without BT.
But yeah, I'm sure every SWF always uses it.
-
Every game is different. DBD has tons of RNG and you never know what will happen in the next match. That being said, RNG can make you not have fun as well if the cards are not in your favor.
Either way, I like the element of surprise because every match plays out differently :)
-
Rarely do I use it in solo queue. More often than not, one of my teammates gets to the hook before I can.
In fact, I avoid "unhook" perks in general for this reason.
-
I think the nerfs to his add-ons were too harsh. The percentages on the slowdown add-ons are so minimal they might as well have been deleted. Otherwise, I think he's decently balanced.
-
Slugging. Lots and lots of slugging.

So by your reasoning Good skill checks aren't skill checks then?
Sure, but it's so easy that it requires the absolute minimum skill level... You wanna remove great skill checks when doing gens is already mundane?
-
This is bait, yeah?
If you don't have to time the skill check, then it's not a skill check.
-
The forums have a Polls section, by the way.
-
Personally I liked the pass only because of the free content. I didn't spend a dime and I got free skins, charms, and $20 worth of Hallowed Blight skins of my choice.
If they wanna keep giving out free stuff, I'll take it. But yeah, you're a sucker if you buy in haha.

Yeah, they're hiding the player ranks on the post-game screen so you can't see how bad matchmaking is. That's pretty much how things get fixed in this game.
That's exactly why ranks were removed in Survivor lobbies as well. It showed a problem. So they hide the information to get us to stop complaining instead of fixing the core issue.
Pretty good job so far.
-
It makes no sense for it to be a Hex still, I agree.
Btw how would Lullaby be balanced without a Hex? So after 5 hooks skill check sounds are permanently silent? Haha that would be nutty.
-
So far I've seen plenty of people farming teammates off hook with BT and WGLF.
Sure, sometimes it's the right play. But usually it's some idiot following the killer to the hook and unhooks right in their face for the stack. They screw the team over and it's really frustrating.
-
It's 100% fair. You give up a perk slot for most of the game for a chance at snowballing when gens are done. It also functions as a bit of insurance if you misplay and get gen-rushed. It's relatively balanced imo.
-
In theory she is still a bit too strong, although removing collision was a step in the right direction imo.
But as many others have said, the sound bugs make her almost unplayable at the moment.
-
Lol yeah I've seen plenty of comments where it's obvious they only read the title. But that's how it is everywhere nowadays. People have such short attention spans. Go look at a news article and half the comments will be people who only read the headline.
-
Medium vaults were added because always having fast vaults created a lot of infinite loops.
-
Freddy and Hag are better than Ghostface.
-
I remember when they first changed Mad Grit and Survivors lost their minds thinking it was an exploit. Post-game chat would be filled with stuff like "enjoy ur ban hacker ;)" lmao. I guess some people are still not aware of what it does.
-
I love the sound of getting a stack on perks.
That little ping is super satisfying.
-
Well first off, Brutal Strength and NOED are bad on Legion imo. Try Enduring + Spirit Fury. Or use Pop Goes The Weasel.
Also, Legion is very add-on reliant, so you need to be using good stuff like Cold Dirt and Stolen Sketch Book. Yellow and brown add-ons are not enough on this killer, but the rarer add-ons are enough to be viable.
I still want a Legion buff though.
-
Can you imagine being able to see your teammates' loadouts in lobby? Would be a game-changer for sure..
Btw I've found the same true of other games. Like PUBG mobile got way more features and better support than PC ever did. Perhaps there are different teams developing different platforms.
-
Since no one has mentioned it, I would like to see rank rewards. A small BP or Shard reward at the end of the month (or literally any incentive) would be greatly appreciated.
But first ranks need to be made more meaningful because it's more a measure of your playtime in a given month than your actual skill.
-
To answer your question, if you are on PC, there are ways to brighten the game, like using overlay settings on a GPU. A quick Google search will show you how.
If you're on console, I think you're stuck with only the settings on your TV.
-
It sucks. It happens so often that I get a sinking feeling as soon as the first person is hooked because half the time they start struggling instantly.
I'm glad 3v1 games are cancelled now, but they still exist in this form. And I don't blame anyone who decides to DC when a teammate insta-kills themselves with 5 gens left.
-
There is no definite answer because some people use it to signal camping, others use it to say "save me."
And then there's people like me who spam attempt escape simply because I'm bored.
Every player is different, and there will never be a universal agreement on this lol
-
-
Huntress Lullaby needs a QoL buff. It should not display until 1 stack is in play.
Maybe increase the BP bonus on Thrill since you lose part of the bonus when a totem is destroyed.
Third Seal can be quite powerful if stacked on all survivors. Problem is the totem is usually gone by that point, so maybe it could use a change to make it ramp up more quickly.
Other than that they're relatively balanced, but still entirely spawn dependent so still a dice roll at the end of the day.

Ah I remember old Freddy's doing this since he was invisible
Good times. It's funny because this has pretty much always been a problem in DBD haha.
-
I use Ruin because trying to get an Iridescent Gatekeeper emblem without it is pretty difficult. Sure, there are "alternatives" but none tackle the early game gen rush like Ruin. It's not fun to use, but it's easy to see why it's so popular.
-
People do this because it's a guaranteed way to de-rank as killer and get easier matches.
I've also noticed killers going AFK to grind Rift XP, as it's based on time spent in a match rather than points.
Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do but do gens and leave. Report them if it makes you feel better.
-
---> Be me.
---> Buy Oni on release with Shards
---> Wait to play him until I've spent enough BP to have a good build
---> Oni is nerfed a few days later
---> Still haven't played him lmao
