Ah, it would appear that due to the power outage my game had refused to update. Gonna check again momentarily.

Leave it to BHVR to not properly announce their event lmao. So there's a meet your maker crossover happening rn I'm not sure if was supposed to be 11am or 12pm EST but yeah that's a thing now.
TBF, it might just be an easter egg-like event. The Gnomski event was similar in that it was barely even mentioned.
-
Now, I have no experience with DDoS attacks, but I reckon that getting DDoS'd takes substantially longer than a regular 5 minute DC penalty.
-
I think you best bet is with steam themselves here. BHVR won't act on just bodyblocking, unless it keeps you or the game hostage.
The forums aren't the place for this, either. I'd recommend removing the profile link since that goes against the no naming 'n shaming rule.
-
DbD games don't last long enough for this to work. They're quite simply too fast. If it takes you ~2 minutes to get back, that could be someone dead on hook. A gen crucial gen could've been done. You don't recover from that if the killer doesn't let you.
It's not worth the development time.

The essence of the words remains the same. I'm amazed it's even subject to discussion.
Players who really care about the use of the word may take up to look it up and, one can dream, learn about etymology.
The etymology of Exposed strongly suggest it was originally intended as “reveal what’s hidden” so that’s not helping your argument at all. The first line is the contemporary definition, which also doesn’t work for DbD since the basic state of a survivor is that they’re defenseless.

Vulnerable might be a bit too long...
Does anyone here have a word that means "to make something fragile"? Because that would work perfectly.
Enfeebled works somewhat but it's as long as Vulnerable and people might not know what enfeebled means...
Incapacitated
Haemorrhage
It’s the spelling that’ll trip people up more, I think.

What do you mean infinite? That they stay around until recalled or hacked? 'Cause she'd be even weaker if she had to reset everything, every chase.

Uhm can I ask how anyone's sexuality in this game has been established?
From the character’s bios and tome stories. David’s second tome story mentions him being unhappy in a forced hetero relationship, alludes to real life use of f-slurs in rugby that greatly offended him to the point of physical aggression which got him kicked out, and the fact that the entire story is about him coming to terms that he needs to let the love of his life, a guy, go.
(admittedly, it’s been close to year that I read the story, so I likely got some details wrong.)
-
Ah yes, that survivor clearly knew what an exploit of her power is the very same day she releases.
-
Is using sex appeal inherently wrong, even when it makes sense, though?
-
Eruption was the worst nerf you've ever seen in all of gaming? Hoo-whee you haven't been around for long.
You also clearly haven't looked all that hard regarding positive feedback for the skull merchant.
I'm indifferent towards this rift. We haven't even gotten the full tome yet, though.
-
Every time this kind of thing happens, I try to see things from the dev's perspective. Try to understand their rationale, even if I disagree with it.
This one...I just cannot grasp.
How does this fix an inconsistency? Where was it? Surely the other way round would've made more sense, whatever it was.
Why 19 meters? That's so specific. It's weirdly small, at that. Just...why?? I'm just utterly perplexed by this. Why not just the within the regular 32m.
All those perks and add-ons... well over half of them have been made so situational they're not worth running at all. Surely, surely they thought of this?
-
I don't think they did this to nerf scream-related perks.
Though why the consistency was necessary to begin with, beats me.
-
Did you try to come up with some actual criticisms, or...
-
As if they couldn't do that already.
-
we won't know for certain 'till like 20 minutes
-
...why?
I'm not even sure what they mean with consistency here. What was the outlier?
-
Keep in mind that the DLC hits storefronts an hour after the update drops. You can buy the characters directly from the in-game store immediately, however.
-
It’s not coming back. Most likely because Netflix pulled out of the agreement after 2 years, in favour of spending the resources on their own gaming branch. We don’t know anything for certain because of NDA’s, though. It’s widely accepted that both parties would profit from ST returning, but alas.
In other words, the inner workings of Netflix are an enigma.
-
The Dredge thing is most likely intentional.
As for the other killers, Knight did get his revision, and Wesker doesn’t really need one. Sadako could do with one, but I doubt she’s particularly over- or underperforming according to the stats. As for Twins… they are taking their sweet time. As always, we’ll just have to wait ‘n see…
Bandwidth is a very limited resource, though. They can only do so much at any given time. 2022’s midchapters were particularly eventful, at that, which took priority over killer-specific changes.

I wish I got to see Ormond and Crotus Penn. Felt like every game was Dead Dawg
Really? Ormond was like half of all my games.
-
If at all, probably next winter season.
-
Why don't killers just toss the gens over the trial's walls? They're clearly strong enough.
-
Presumably Twins will see many add-on changes. At some point...
-
Supposedly, this was fixed in 6.6.0. i.e., the update coming soon.
-
little status update: since quitting uni I have applied for an entry test for a dutch-english translation vocational training. The lady that went over it said I was "well-above the minimum entry requirement" so I'm feeling pretty good rn

I’m sorry but you sound so corny, if we weren’t meant to wiggle out why is there a bar? I highly doubt you have a degree in math. The killer can practically carry you forever, b e c a u s e you can’t wiggle out. There is barely any progression no matter what and iron grasp? Forget about it. Boil over was a great perk to counter that. Maybe fix it so the wiggle progression was a little slower. But they completely took it out, took out great skill checks to help with wiggle progression, and iron grasp remains the same. It’s impossible. I’ve been carried around the map like princess ######### Fiona by toxic mfs on a daily. Not being able to get out.
Kinda exaggerating there, hm? Makes me wonder if you play killer at all.
You’re also just wrong about Boil Over, by the by. It still grants wiggle progress when falling. It’s just a percentage based on the progress already made.
-
And then watch them have an immediate breakdown because you’d be a terrible boss.
-
I have a hunch it’s gonna follow an entirely new survivor character, who may or may not appear in the game afterwards.
Also watch Vittorio speak fluent modern English.
-
Likely, yes.
As for when… hopefully not too soon. Developing some serious RE fatigue.
-
Two things:
You need to grab them from the trap.
Steam is slow with updating the progress on achievements.
-
Yesterday, I had an Ada DC against me as Trapper because I yoinked her off a totem.
The vast majority of dc's I get make no sense whatsoever.
-
We're against FoMO on these forums, you know.
-
If not achieved, Steam's achievement page takes a while to update.
-
Sadako with Thrilling Tremors.
-
I kinda doubt this happened more than one match, unless you’re actively avoiding interaction with the killer at all costs.
Beyond that, trolls will be troll. Not a lot to it, I reckon.
-
I will be buying her two days after she releases.
’Cause it’s my birthday.
-
It's a bit odd, since the start of the scream coincided with the exact moment the hook was done.
We'll get used to it, though.
-
I remember getting chills from Huntress’ Blighted outfit.
those bulging red eyes appearing from around the corner, instantly fixing on me. she may have looked like a bunny, but I was the prey, indeed.
-
Wonder what they’re referring to with “more exciting collaborations”
Makeship?
Plushies?
Crow Pride Plushie??
the things I’d do…
-
Every tome has 3 or more stories tied to it. Certain challenges (Master Challenges) within a tome unlock entries to said story. You'll have to unlock all entries if you want the full story.
You can unlock stories out of order, but you won't get rift fragments from progressing through a previous tome. When hovering over a Master Challenge, you can see which story it will unlock an entry for. These entries are unlocked in order, though it doesn't matter which order you do the challenges in.
Hope that makes sense.

Endurance is lost if you take an action or are acted upon.
Being healed by another survivor doesn’t remove Endurance. It’s strictly the survivor doing any action that progresses the trial.
In theory, yes you might keep the Endurance status effect. You should be able to test it with a much wider margin for yourself if you run Off the Record.
-
The offerings are also displayed mid-match in the escape screen (as in, the key ESC.) No idea what the equivalent of that would be on consoles, though.
-
Jane Romero is a Slinger main. Dunno how often she streams, though.
-
The forums have discovered Orwell's oevre, I see.
-
With your first issue, we'd need to see some footage to tell what's happening. It sounds like latency, but I haven't hear anyone have it that bad before.
Your second issue is an input priority thing. As a tip, whatever you're looking at gets priority over 'always available' actions. With lockers/vaults, I can only say we've all been there. Try to press the button a bit later than you would. IIRC, the action you're about to do is displayed on the bottom of the screen. Get some practice in.
-
I liked it. Gotta be creative with getting it to work. Lord knows there's worse perk challenges.
-
I mean, it is the only body part left that always has some kind of fabric covering it.
