Why are manatees always in those cute parent-child configurations? So precious.
also, sus birb 🤔 what are its intentions? Its goals?!
The same pigeon was spotted loitering around our front door yesterday
his motives are unknown, but his persistence scares me

My submission for manatee mondays
and also
This pigeon is spying on me.

if we're gonna talk NSFW, you aren't convincing me some of the mods don't have their own fair share of extreme thirst that they cannot share because professionalism

(yes, that's a very small cow and a very large cow)
oh my god??

I liked the chapter and I still think that's a weird take.
Why would you support them by buying a chapter you don't like, when you can buy cosmetics for characters you do like instead?
That seems...rather self-evident?

just cancelled my contract for student accommodation

Are you honestly telling me that when there is far away super faint terror radius music, and you're repairing a generator that is making loud noises, that you can hear the faint terror radius music over the generator noises?
I'm not talking about a killer that's close, and the terror radius music has picked up in volume. I'm taking about the faint far away terror radius noises that are very low in volume.
Yes, I can. With exception of Pinhead's, as I said.
-
@Coffeecrashing said:
The actual problem is we don't know if the visual terror radius will respect loud noises like generators. If the visual terror radius literally pops up whenever a survivor is in an active terror radius or lullaby, then it's absolutely a buff.
If the visual terror radius only pops up if the survivor could realistically be expected to hear the terror radius (or lullaby) noises over the loud generator noises, then it will be fine. But I can tell you right now, that if I'm working on a generator, and there are far way faint terror radius noises, that I can't hear them over the generator noises. And if I get a visual terror radius, when I can't hear terror radius noises, then the visual terror radius is a buff.
Wondering whether you’re maybe a bit hard of hearing yourself, or have trouble listening out for specific things. Either way, this change sounds like its a buff for you. You, specifically.
With exception of Pinhead’s specifically, I never had any trouble distinguishing the TR music’s 3 phases over gen repairs. So I’m really not sure what you’re on about.
-
Ah yes, ‘cause every survivor brings Any Means Necessary.

But it is in my region, price rised from 3 eur to ~5 eur for 1100 pack without any anouncement. It feels very bad when prices rises randomly and silently on every platform (both steam and egs).
That’s…
hm.
Don’t suppose you’d be willing to tell us what region? I’m in the Netherlands.
-
Really? It hasn’t for me.
it’s still 10 euros for 1100 cells for me. That’s the only one I know of the top of my head, anyway.
-
I think folks are forgetting it’s also a very localised Empathy. If planted in very central locations, you can effectively tell where the killer is chasing someone.
-
Healing times being increased by 50% across the board is a bit extreme.
Pain Res got double-whammied, which feels entirely unnecessary when CoB and Overcharge are already being hit pretty damn hard.
The effective removal lightburn also feels unnecessary for Nurse in particular. It’s great for Hag, but… eh.
-
FWIW, the CoH change is massive for Twins in particular.
-
I like blue tho...
But yeah it'd be neat if deep rifts took a single colour and used that for everything, instead of just blue. Maybe the colour of the tome it comes with?
-
You didn't read the dev-update that came out just now, did you?

Only Nurse & Wraith suffer from the Lightburn mechanic, not other killers.
You're mixing up and confusing mechanics.
You didn’t quote me, but I assume this in response to me.
For all intents and purposes, Lightburn exists for those killers as well, since it directly interferes with their power. At that point, it’s just semantics.
Myers is unable to stalk, Legion gets knocked out of frenzy, Spirit’s husk is destroyed (although I fail to see the point in doing that), and Nemesis loses functionality from his zombies. Doesn’t really matter if they’re part of the same mechanic or not. As long as a killer’s power is affected by flashlights, I’d call that a lightburn.
-
It's thematic.
Also, it goes beyond Wraith, Nurse, Hag and Artist. Myers, Spirit, Legion are also affected in their own ways. Not to mention Nemesis.
-
Thus far, it only seems to be Gas Heaven, as it's the only map that has car walls.
That said, they did post this and I'm suspicious of it now. But it's also past 2am and I'm too tired to make anything of it.

I'd absolutely love to see the Keeper, but I'm struggling to think of a power for him that isn't just Trapper with Demo-like teleports.
Pixel Bush had a neat concept for Stefano Valentini, as he found Keeper a bit bland when we already have Trapper and PH, and Ruvik has a non-defined powerset. Nevertheless, I'd be completely fine with either Keeper or Stefano.
For survivors, Sebastion Castellanos is a no-brainer (as tragic as that would be for him). Juli Kidman would be neat as a second survivor, but it's not really necessary imo.
As for legendaries; Sadist is indeed an easy fit for Hillbilly, Joseph Oda would be a neat Legendary for Dwight. I have a hard time fitting the Mobius agents from the second game somewhere.
--
edit: actually, now that I think of it, they could use the Executioner DLC as inspiration for a power for the Keeper. Granted, giving him all of the stuff he had there would be rather bloated and a little silly, but they could use his melee-range grab?

Huh
For some reason I thought Team Bloober was in line to do that game but maybe I just made that up or maybe it's just what people online wanted (for some strange reason cause the Bloober games I've played have been...not great).
I believe Blooper Team (or whatever they're called) is doing the SH 2 remake. Unsure if they have a hand in other upcoming SH titles.

Konami announced they're codeveloping one of the new titles together with BHVR. Kinda wild, that.

It does, sorta. Not on its own, but it does move.

not that im surprised, but pretending like this isnt providing any sort of advantage is a little bit silly.
being able to tell what exactly is going on through all of the noise layers going on is a pretty big deal. being able to bypass all of this and just have a clear visual indicator of how near a killer is is an obvious advantage.
"At the moment, there is no equivalent on the Killer side, though it would no doubt be nice to have. When it comes to accessibility, we would rather get these features out sooner so the people who need them can use them than wait until we have other features to 'balance' it for both sides."
this is a hilarious paragraph... "wouldn't it be nice if we considered balance when making changes to the game? dang, too bad we dont."
The effect this will have on the balance of the game is very minimal.
The benefit of allowing people who are hard of hearing able to play survivor without their hearing being a massive detriment, on the other hand...
-
Since this is not a bug fix or a small balance change, I’m guessing this is coming in patch 6.7.0. Which is to say, the mid-chapter. Thus, ~4 weeks.
-
David, Jane and Felix also didn’t appear in their chapter’s trailers.

Why did BHVR spend so much time trying to make a complicated auto buy system, that is still too slow, and can cause people to miss important items…… when it would have been way faster to create an option to turn off all the bloodweb animations?
If you want to buy a specific item, you get that first, and then select the auto-buyer. Doesn't seem particularly complicated to me.
-
not me suggesting manatee monday and then neglecting my responsibilities.
-
I think going for the M1 doesn't break the streak.
Add-ons that increase the amount of carried hatchets might also help. It's not about consecutive hits, after all.
Lastly, I got it on Thompson House, which is very open in the middle. I got it on my first game trying for it as well, so I haven't tried it on other maps, but I imagine the map you get will make a big difference.
-
There's typically 3 weeks in between major updates. Since Tools of Torment released on the 7th, that would mean the PTB drops on the 28th. Though, as always, this is just an observed pattern and not confirmed.
-
Auto purchase confirmed! See OP for the video

I’m terribly sorry to hear that. I’m in the same boat of not knowing what to say, but it goes without saying that you have my sympathies.
I’m not exactly a cat expert, but it seems abundantly clear to me that your cat was loved and he loved you.

Currently, Rogue Legacy 2. Before that, I played through the bulk of Stardew Valley again, since I hadn’t seen any of the new content added since release.
Hoping my PC can handle RE4make, so I can get into that as well.

how about manatee monday?
-
Dark Devotion is a utility perk. Not sure how you’d go about buffing that one without making it bloated.
I like BlightedDolphin’s suggestion, though.
-
I still think all living survivors should get a score event any time a gen is completed, regardless of what they're doing.
-
I would appear that I cannot read, as you mentioned Nurse in your post.
-
Boons, yes.
Scourge Hooks, not so much a failure as much as unexplored.

Nurse is B and Skull Merchant is A.
Nurse and GF don’t have default music what
-
People hated old OoO for a reason.
-
^ is called Starstruck in English. It's a Trickster perk that does precisely what you're asking for.
Making this perk basekit (which is to say, its effect are active without needing to equip the perk) just isn't what you want.
-
Ignoring the somewhat comical choice of words no doubt caused by English not being your native language:
You want Starstruck, basekit?
Yeah no.
-
I do this weird sort-of whistling thing as Nemesis when chasing. Also a lot of head-bopping when playing as and against Wesker, Nemesis and Legion, but also to the default tracks.
I only took me getting slightly nauseous from it to notice I was doing the latter at all.
-
This'll definitely change how she's generally played. Will have to see how it feels, though.
-
Shame it’s just a recolour, but it’s a pretty good recolour.
