"Tell me what would make you happy & satisfied with your gaming experience."
I want you to play as Spirit with your hottest outfit.

"he insisted that he was 21 and making 3,000 dollars a week."
Those are rookie numbers, i make 100,000

Moonwalking is realistic though.

We need to assert dominance.

If all 4 survivors are smart they would just crouch in a corner until it ends, but that won't happen in soloQ
My Trapper loves it when these 4 "smart" survivors wait for Corrupt intervention to end. Please, i need more of them.

That looks exactly like the killer i would main.

The sad truth. Just tried playing survivor again the night before rank reset to see if the experience was any better. Got hooked. One survivor is obviously (gets hit ...) being chased by killer and the other two do a gen together. By doing a little math, the two survivors on the gen could have known that one of them should have come to help me. Instead I go into second phase, the gen pops, but do they come? No, they urban evade off even further away from me.
The survivor in chase notices and runs towards me with the killer on this heels, probably going for a desperate save because the others are doing nothing. Fortunately, the second hook skill check comes just in time before he can reach me so I can kill myself despite the recent solo nerf (no instant self-killing on second hook phase) and on scoreboard screen I see I did the right thing because he didn't have BT.
So, all the info is there and no-one does anything, and you want to know the best thing?
I ran Kindred so my three teammates had all that information even visualized, and those teammates were all rank 2-3.
The buff to solo queue is taking matchmaking in your own hands and running a hand-picked SWF.
Seriously, any solution to the solo problem must include changes to matchmaking/ranking. I am often watching new streamers discovering the game because it's so funny to watch when they start figuring out the game. The last one I discovered was rank 3 in a very short time after playing it a lot on stream. She was admitting herself she was still working out to use the camera to look behind her in a chase, had to figure out how to loop, didn't know killer perks well enough to recognize them. And here I am wondering how my red rank teammates play like they installed the game last week ... that's probably because they literally did and just played all day long.
Dude, i totally feel your pain 🤣. I also run Kindred and find myself in that kind of situations.
Have you ever tried to run Better Together so randoms don't take the killer to you while repairing a gen? You won't believe how they react to that.
Btw, i loled quite hard to "by doing a little math", that's exactly my thought when i see some of the dumbest plays.

Feng and Trapper.
Edit: Why? Because Feng looks so badass and Trapper because it forces me to play in a more tactical way.

The game can't be balanced when some survivors have every possible info perk built in, and others don't.
Anyway, I'd like to see a chase indicator - you get it for one survivor, I don't know why it can't be all four - and I'd like a clear sign that a hooked player can use (in either hook phase) to say that a killer is near the hook. It can't just be wiggling around, because that unfortunately doesn't have a unanimous meaning anymore; it'd need to be its own emote.
Closing the gap between solos and SWFs would take way more than this, like survivors being able to place markers as a default or straight-up adding comms baked into the game (which... yikes, I don't want to imagine the abuse I'd encounter), but these two would be a start towards being able to make more informed decisions in solo queue.
I play solo for the same reason i play Trapper, i love the challenge, and if devs made things easier for solo survivors i would probably end up bored.
Currently, we got all the perks we need to deal with everything, and if devs gave for free some of the information that these perks provide, such as Kindred, then we would probably end up running the same 4 perks over and over. Solo Q forces us to change our build, and that's a good thing.
Might be a selfish thought, but that's my opinion.

I'm 100% solo survivor and I would like buffs, thank you.
I think we got everything we need tbh, we just need smarter teammates, and devs can't do anything about that.
-
I'm 100% solo survivor and i don't want any buffs, thank you.

SWF and smurfs are 2 different things.
PS: as i said before, i watched your gameplay and you made lots of mistakes. There's nothing wrong with that, but please, don't blame devs for your own mistakes.

It is as fair as playing solo against a killer running pink addons and stuff. Just eat it and move on to the next match.
Ok i watched the video just now.
You made several mistakes. Rewatch your gameplay and try to improve it.

I agree but you have to agree that she's the whole reason DBD isn't dead 💅
Oh yeah, she's carrying BHVR really hard.

I main Feng, i'm quite good at DbD, but i gotta admit most Fengs suck.

Are you a metalhead too?
PS: Yeah, good times indeed :)

Best matches are always against good opponents, especially the ones who beat you.
I still remember one match i had against a Clown god like 2 years ago. That dude (or gurl) completely changed my opinion on the Clown.

Nah dude, if they wanna leave all 4 to bleed out i'm gonna watch some random YT video meanwhile.

I like to bring green keys with no addons just to troll killers, it would be a shame if you guys didn't tunnel me :(

Yeah, i don't care if the problem is people who don't know how to use it, just get rid of it.

🤣😂 you mention alcohol.
Do you feel you do skill checks so much better and play better?
Or am I just genuinely the only one who thinks that? I tend to laugh off ridiculous game plays from both sides. Like I'd run into Michael and instantly say "hey dude just fixing this gen" .. then his knife comes up... "ite then I won't catch me if you caaaaan"
And odd reason he quits chasing. 🥺 like I want you to chase me Michael, why won't you chase me 😑😔
I'm quite decent at video when i'm sober, but i'm way better when i'm drunk, seriously. Not only in DbD, but in all kind of games in general. And yes, i can hit more great skill checks when i'm drunk.
Btw, every time i've won in PUBG (i'm average AT BEST when it comes to fps games) i was drunk too.

After 1000 hours of solo you learn to accept your bad teammates and just enjoy the ride
Pretty much this. I only play solo and couldn't care less about the outcome of the match anymore.
Every time i ready up i expect to witness a circus performance and try to enjoy it, alcohol makes it better too.

Killers can't get carried by others with SWF :)
Ah yes, the SWF excuse card. I love it when they accuse me of playing with friends yet i'm playing solo :)
-
"ARE BAD SURVIVORS AWARE THEY'RE BAD? OR HAVE THEY BEEN MISLEAD?"
I wish it was a problem only among survivors, sadly it happens to a lot of killers too.
-
Because that's what pvp is all about, to rub your victory on your opponent's face :)
-
Would you skip the lobby? No
Would you change your perks? No
Would you change your gameplay in match?
Not every swf group plays in the same way, so i would still wait for the match to start to see how they play and change my gameplay accordingly.

A moonwalking Myers.
-
I don't dislike any map tbh, what i would hate is to go to the same map several times in a row.
-
I don't run exhaustion perks because there are better and more useful ones to me.
-
Sorry, but farming is boring and i'm not going to do that.
What i don't understand is when there's 1 or 2 early DCs yet the killer still goes full sweaty by camping and tunneling ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
I've been using Better Together since its release and i think that buff would fit better in Technician.
"Right now it sucks real bad as without Prove thyself its counter productive to stack on gens"
Personally, the main reason why i run it is to prevent other survivors from taking the killer to me while they are being chased, needless to say that sometimes they just ignore it...
-
Instadowns are the equivalent of these second chance perks you are talking about.

Alcohol.

"I even recorded it"
Could you post it? I would like to watch it.

I bought DbD, twice.

Yes, everything is toxic. Playing the game is toxic and so is breathing.
-
Oh, i thought for a moment that i would be able to spam 2 flashlights at the same time :(
-
A perk that might encourage to not complete the main objective and hide in a locker waiting for your teammates to die should not be buffed imo.
-
The true equivalent of "second chance" perks for killers aren't what i would call "second chance", more like perks that allow them to skip some of the steps to reach their goal. In other words: Insta-downs.

Who cares? it's just a game , people are way too soft these days is the real problem
Amen to that.
-
People who ask for killer diversity don't necessarily have to be the same people who like to "bully" them.
It's like saying "why do killers ask to be faster or have better map pressure if they are just gonna camp?"
