Thanks, I've heard they are a Spirit main but I didn't even think about tagging them. I appreciate you did.

Thanks a lot for the advice. It'll help me next time I'll play Spirit. Also, if you stream one day, tag me somewhere in the forums/send me a private message with a link to your Twitch. I'd like to watch you playing Spirit.
Alright will do! Although, I’m not sure how to private message someone on here tbh. Do I need to ask a mod?
-
That doesn’t fix Dead Harding for distance which is the main complaint of the perk.
-
Honestly no map is too small. Coal Tower is the second smallest map in the game and is known as the most balanced map.

The complaining is getting so old.

Yes they better not ruin her. Also why are you slapping yourself?

Enduring made DS completely useless. It was absurd. Enduring would let killers tunnel on a rampage if they didn’t nerf it.

These never end.

Looks fine to me.

Very fascinating.

Survivors that try to make the killer miserable can’t bully them when the killer has Lightborn so they complain.

She's certainly one of the killers I see the least these days :[
I get a little excited when I hear her unique terror radius these days.
Same. Big sadge people actually think she’s a dead killer 😞

I’m not a content creator (although I have been thinking about Twitch streaming at some point) I can give you some advice on Spirit as I play her a ton. Honestly, I don’t really know of any content creator Spirit mains that are still around.
As for advice on Spirit, duration isn’t your best friend on most loops. Short bursts are what you need to be doing a lot of the time as trying to mind game and stay in your power for a long time will likely confuse you and won’t do you much good. Basic brown and yellow add ons that affect activation charge speed and movement speed are helpful in putting you in this habit and are just overall good beginner add ons that aren’t super game breaking but are still helpful.
On jungle jims and shack, there is a bit more mind gaming you need to do with your power like baiting survivors into vaulting a window or throwing the pallet to meet them on the other side. For example, on a long wall jungle jim, one trick that does work is if you know a survivor is near the pallet and is camping it, you can bait them to drop it, go around the short side, and then you can hit them while their likely still in pallet dropping animation. Spirit moves very fast, so keep that in mind.
One thing that a lot of Spirit players haven’t adapted to since her nerf was that if you are face to face with a survivor on a really safe dropped pallet like shack, don’t bother trying to mind game it as they’ll hear you coming from the other side very easily. Just break the pallet and use your 176% movement speed to catch up with them. Her Iri add on, Kintsugi Teacup, can help you get in that good habit.
That’s some basic advice I can give you. If you have any additional questions like how you can use specific add ons, I’ll be glad to try as best I can to be helpful :)
-
Can’t wait to see how rare Spirit is from your data :(

Less interactions sounds like a great idea /s

No, I've just been going against a statistically significant number of 3-4 man SWFs that have been using a 'tank' player using this tactic and I'm just asking that SWFs please stop.
I've legitimately had to put STBFL on for this whole event because of this.
I’m not thinking asking them to stop is going to do much. Let’s ask to nerf COH instead.

She is when stats are considered. I think the devs should look at why it's so low & buff her accordingly. I'm thinking allowing her to cancel blinks should be fair.
Yikes

Think about it this way. The killer forces the survivors in a tight 3-gen. In comms, the survivors can set up a totem somewhere that the survivors can just run to and remove the killer's progress. The killer can't just go break the totem because they have to defend the 3-gen or they just lose. It's too much time loss for the killer to the point where it removes any snowball potential.
It's not really about that, a lot of killers on the roster just can't snowball. You expect Pig to do anything about that?

Personally I don’t like the idea of having to bring a medkit to get a use out of it. It feels too restrictive without taking away the actual issue.
For me, the problem I have as killer is when I snuff it and by the time I turn my back it’s already been re-blessed. I think a better downside would be for the entity to ‘curse’ the totem ( I.E. give it a cool down) once the killer snuffs it. So the survivor (or any other survivor with a boon) cannot re-bless that same specific totem, and they are forced to look for another.
The other thing I would change is the healing speeds based off distance. So if the survivor wants to get the most value out of it they have to be as close as possible to the totem. Otherwise the further away they are from the totem the slower the heal speed.
This way if a killer hears the totem, they aren’t completely punished for snuffing the totem without an idea of where the survivor is.
That could work. I guess it is a problem that the killer spends the time kicking the totem but the survivor can just easily put it back.
-
@BreadTube said:
It isn't OP it has multiple downsides I'd like to list:
- Takes 16-24s to bless the totem
- If you're interrupted all progress is lost
- It has a limited range
- The killer gets a very loud indicator you blessed a totem
- It takes the killer 1s to snuff a totem
- You CANNOT protect them
- You can't use it if all the totems have been cleansed or the only totems available are being used for boons you don't like/need
- You still have to heal yourself once you're done, but it can be risky due to the loud indicator, so if a killer is good with totem locations they can figure out where you are.
It already comes with way too many downsides it doesn't need even more to make it useless.

This does seem to be the Survivor mentality.
Killers Steamroll: OMG! OP! Nerf! Give us free perks and tactics because Killers steamrolling are OP! Punish camping! Punish slugging! Punish tunneling! Punish Killers winning!
Survivors Steamroll: Git gud, Killer! Just stop whining and learn to play! Clicks flashlight faster while t-bagging.
Honestly with that logic, you’re not wrong but I think it’s only fair to admit that killers have the same ######### mentality at times too. Just because a bunch of people exclusively play survivor has that mindset doesn’t mean that all survivors and only survivors should be generalized that way. Comments like yours are part of the reason the community is so divided.

Artist probably. She’s a new killer and because she’s strong, people think she’s a problem.
-
PTB is close by but not the midchapter release.
-
You’ve earned my up vote. Heal tech is such a stupid mechanic imo.
-
I would select RPD every time.
-
I’ve played against Paulie Esther one time and played with OhTofu as well. It’s a different feeling when big content creators enter your lobbies.
-
It’s because she’s a new killer that will take time for everyone to master. People were saying the same thing about Blight and look where he’s at now.
-
People really need to stop overestimating the teams they go against.

@Labrac said:
That's not even restricted to strong killers. Trapper, Trickster and Clown all have meme addons as well. They probably just forgot about it.
Edit: Huntress also didn't get one in her addon pass, which made me sadge.
Wonder what kind of debuff Huntress would get from a meme add on. Maybe decrease in hatchet capacity? But Iri head already does that so not sure tbh.
-
@Marc_go_solo said:
Would have been fun to have a meme add-on which keeps her visible when she does the phase thing, although keep the same speed. Could be quite creepy having her charge at you from a distance with arms outstretched!
That would be a significant nerf tbh.

It is ridiculous to complain about a bad map for a Killer who can take on almost every Survivor they face.
It’s a reasonable complaint. You can’t even use Blight’s power on maps like Lery’s and RPD, which makes for some incredibly boring matches where you’re just a standard 4.6 M1 killer. Your logic really makes no sense.
-
The devs lied about SBMM as if you’re new to a killer, you’ll start to get matched up with really good survivors and then your MMR will get lower eventually. Not sure what kind of advice I can give other than to just eventually get a lower MMR or just keep practicing if you do want a chance against good teams.

Im just tired of seeing blight every second match. Also lethal rush is inconsistent. Sometimes he hits obstacles, sometimes he just slides around them when he clearly looks at them.
Well if they didn’t nerf almost every killer to the ground, then we’d see more variety? It’s not Blight’s fault that he’s one of few killers on the roster that actually feels good to play.
-
No. Please no. The game isn’t designed in a way that justifies survivors being first person.
-
He was a “wee bit overpowered.”

It's the smallest map lol especially easy if ghosty myers wraith hag trapper etc ranged killers might have a some difficulty
It may be the smallest map in terms of square footage, but there's two floors on the map so traversing it as most killers really isn't that easy.

@Tr1nity said:
Oh god, this again?
Gann venting about RPD at this point is more predictable than the monsoon winds.
Well most of my threads are about another specific thing so I wouldn’t call RPD predictable in my threads.
-
Well considering how holding W kills almost every killer on Midwich, I’d say it’s pretty balanced if survivors have some bad things on it.
-
@Labrac said:
Whenever I get this map as killer I just farm with the survivors and let them have a 4 out. There's no reason to actually try on that map.
Farming is more entertaining than playing on RPD tbh.

@Hex_Llama said:
RPD might actually be the most balanced map in the game since, when you load in, you've already lost, no matter which side you play.
Honestly no one can argue with that.

Its unironically my favorite DbD map, and I've never played RE(Im too dumb for puzzles and I have no sense of object permanence and I get lost)
Both as survivor and killer I love it Haha.
The only thing that irritates me these days is the existence of Shadowstep but otherwise RPD is a blast.
Impossible.
