It's to remove hatch standoffs. At the same time, we added the ability for the killer to close the hatch. Now that the killer can close the hatch, whoever gets there first wins.
Keys. if someone has a key, there's no way to counterplay that if it's there. It's stupidly unfair.

If Ghostface gets nerfed, then devs are clueless. He's perfectly fine the way he is.
He was underpowered when he first came out. Now that people know how to play him, now he's OP? No. Seriously, he's perfectly fine the way he is. If he gets nerfed, then I think I'm done with DBD.
They really just wanna nerf whoever they can.
-
The Game is balanced, to me. Love the map as Survivor and Killer. Every map that is indoor to me is balanced.
-
Everyone is gonna hate me for this, but. The Game map is my favorite as survivor.
-
Nurse is still great. Don't see why everyone says she's bad. I still drop 4ks with her easily.
-
Why nerf her? She's a strong killer. Nurse still over performs better, anyways. It's a bad decision to keep nerfing what's strong.
Her add-ons is something that need to be addressed, such as prayer beads.
She's fine. Fix the killers that are weak. Leatherface Is in a horrible spot.
-
Really hope they give us an extra 3 viles for the delay, and now this. It's upsetting, but. At least it's here?
-
Make the game last longer. Some matches go less than 5 minutes. Which is only against SWF.
Just need a way to make the game take actual time, instead of holding one button.
-
We've come a long way to everyone to ask for a buff to Freddy and now asking for a nerf.
-
I don't see why something strong, (that's a good type of strong,) is being nerfed. Which is upsetting. Nurse is now perfectly fine to go against, as she always was, really.
But, in general, I just don't know why they are nerfing something strong, because some can't adapt to it. Spirit, and Nurse, of course.
It's kind of depressing.
-
Don't see why people would want old Freddy, but. Alright.
-
She's fine, in my opinion. If she's strong, then let her be. No need to nerf a strong killer. She isn't OP.

I can't imagine that happening with licensed dlc characters.
But all of bhvrs characters will there is no way they don't unless the game randomly dies.
See, I couldn't before.
BUT.
Seeing them get new DLC Cosmetics as the never thought they could, it's possible. Can't see it not happening.
-
As much as I dislike going against her, I don't think she needs a nerf.
Unpopular opinion: Survivor mains are really hating of killers that are strong, and hard to go against.
It's a 50/50. Because of her power, she can manipulate survivors.
-
I don't want to have to run a certain killer every game to deny an insta-heal, or item use.
Rank 1s are mostly insta-heal heaven.

If everyone is running exhaustion perks and killers are countering that because it's logical to do then maybe people should stop using exhaustion perks if they don't want to get countered
If you refuse to adapt you deserve to get destroyed by easily counterable add-ons
There is no issue
Once again, *not complaining*
Read up, calm down, lol.

I've never heard anyone complain about exhaustion addons before. I don't see how theyre unfair at all.
Not complaining about them, I'm just giving them a response, from their streams about Freddy's Q&A.
This is the last time I come and post, lol.

@Raptorrotas said:
If you asked survivors if exhaustion addons are fine they say no becauee theyre survivors and those addons debuff them.
The majority of them wont think about balance etc, they'd just diss the addons because they negatively affect survivors.
Well.. Yes, but actually no.
The whole topic is regarding survivors, and balancing something what devs consider an issue.
And majority? I highly doubt 90% of people would disagree, maybe 50/50.
This isn't a topic about insta-heals, or DS, or Nurse, or Spirit. There are sides that are unbalanced. I'm mentioning something that could potentially balance a side, and maybe help with an idea.

How many exhaustion add-ons are there out there..? Clown has one.. Huntress has one.. eeerrrr..
Doctor, Clown, Huntress.
But mentioning, devs are worried about giving exhaustion addons, because it's annoying, and unfun to go against.
-
Corn maps are annoying, for smaller Killers, Like, Hag and Pig for example. If you're tall, then it may not be an issue as much,
Nurse it's harder, yes. But survivors become predictable afterwards, but no. You aren't the only one. I promise, lol

@Madjura said:
The exhaustion add-ons are fine
You can use exhaustion perks when you get off the hook or before you get hit
The add-ons do literally nothing if survivors aren't running exhaustion perks
If you are so worried about anti-exhaustion add-ons then play around them or change your build to not include exhaustion perks
This was more of a response to devs opinions on Exhaustion add-ons, annnd..
If you asked a LOT of Rank 1 survivors is this fine?
They'd mention no, because it isn't fun. Do you think 90 seconds of exhaustion is fun? I'm assuming you're rank 1, at least.
And, let's be honest. It's Meta, everyone runs at least one exhaustion perk in a team. Because it works. Dead Hard, Balanced, etc.
I honestly don't see how you wouldn't agree to this, but alright. Hey! Your opinion.
-
Adrenaline is fine. Why? Because it's earned. Killer main here, lol.
NOED isn't earned.
It's something to think for.
-
@ygnea said:
NOED is a crutch perk. As a killer main, if you run noed you are bad the game and bad at your job. Period.
No. There are reasons it is a HEX, it's really your fault for not getting the totems cleansed. It is an optional objective, but it's more viable if you do cleanse them all. 50 seconds to cleanse all.
If we're saying this is a crutch perk, and if you run it, then let's say if you run any exhaustion, you're bad. Because it just doesn't make sense.
oof.
-
I honestly think the shrine is fine the way it is, it's just a luck based system. If you want the perk you want, then. Better play Ace.
-
Gen-Rush sweaty survivors?
Easy solution. Nurse Gang, Nurse Gang.
-
That Cashier was a rank 20, heartbeat clearly.

I used to think Nurse was the hardest Killer in the game. But after playing her extensively, I quickly realized that with the exception of blink muscle memory (which isn't really "skill" so much as it is just, well, memory), all the things required to be a good Nurse—game sense, map knowledge, situational awareness, predicting Survivors in chases, predicting Survivors out of them—are just things required to be a good Killer in general.
For the most part, the people who say she's easy are great with training their muscle memory, and others like me who are/were under the impression that she's hard have a tougher time doing so. And the truth is, it's because the muscle memory is really only Nurse's Killer-specific learning curve. Outside of that training, she behaves exactly like every M1 Killer. She doesn't have special traps or situational ranged weapons or have a lingering status effect tied to her ability—you just BLINK. That's it.
Why am I going on this rant as to why Nurse is easy? Well, it's because of how strong she is. Sure, Nurses who are bad will get beaten, and Nurses who are actually good—well, they're good, so they've earned their victories, right? The problem is, one you've mastered the art of guessing and predicting Survivors' movement and behavior patterns when out of your LoS, you're pretty much set for life. You've become a good Nurse, and no one is ever going to ever stand the slightest chance in a chase against you. If you can predict them well, they literally have nothing left to defend themselves in a chase, because their sole available tactic, juking, is now countered. Once you've hit that point, the only thing Survivors can do to win the game is to mash out gens like their name is Uncle Dane the Engie Main—and hey, that's just no fun for either side.
Nurse is not balanced, not because she literally bypasses a huge chunk of mechanics Survivors use to keep themselves alive in a chase, but because what the Survivors can still use that hasn't been rendered obsolete can be totally overthrown by the Nurse for, in my honest opinion, a quite low amount of skill and effort.
So she counters OP garbage like SWF. That doesn't make her balanced. That just makes those things OP.
Agreed on some standards, and disagreed on some.
Nurse has counterplay. Even a godly Nurse, it's just lose line of sight, it's a 50/50 in some situations. Other situations are a 25/75 guess. It's just a guessing game at times. You guess right, you earned you and your teammates a few extra seconds to get things done. It really isn't hard, your objective is to get those gens done. And it's not hard at all. 4 gens can be done in 80 seconds.
A chase matters, but still. It's easy to get things done.

This is very cleverly disguised bait.
As much as I appreciate the clever part, this isn't bait. It's an actual discussion, and I'd like to hear other people's opinions.
:(

I don't think she needs buffed, nor reworked. The discussion was something easy and nice. She's balanced in my eyes, but a lot of people claim overpowered. While the defense mechanic for survivors is completely gone against her.
I play both sides, and. I gotta say, What makes me love her even more is that respect comes in.
Nurse is a VERY hard killer to play. If I see anyone who is godly with her, then. I'm saying GG, no matter what. Amazing counters, and great reads. Chases don't go long.
New Nurse players will be hurt, but they are learning the games playstyle.
-
Honestly, I don't see the logic from the developers at times, but I can see their standpoint view sometimes. SOMETIMES.
In my real opinion, Pig should get that little buff, something that would make her a bit better as a stealth killer is her little dash attack. I think it's reactable, way too reactable for experienced survivors to just run before they can catch up.
My honest opinion, I'd like to see her dash be completely SILENT, until they are hit. It's nice for that movie reference, just. Man, it'd be even more nice to have her stealth be something more amazing.

I tend to agree with this. It's the extra blinks and range addons that make her broken; a default two blink nurse with normal blinks is strong, but much more managable and not as oppressive.
Really? I'm honestly surprised. I think her best addons are her common ones. But that is my opinion, I'm probably wrong, 99% chance I am. The only thing that makes me say woah is her range blinks. That is amazing!

If I can just come here and agree, and just add along something.
J E F F.
His bloody costumes are kinda just slapped on, in my opinion it's the laziest P3 costumes sadly. Hope something comes along, but it isn't *needed*.

MmmmmMMM yummy totems.
MMmmmmMMMMMM yummy small game.

It matters on RNG, if you are alone and gates are close, then. It's hard to see escaping, BUT. It's possible. Easily possible. Just hard to do this as time matters. One mistake and you goofed.
Endgame doesn't need to be removed, maybe touched up on if the hatch is closed. But otherwise, it's fine.

I figured BHVR loves bans. I was banned from the Discord server because I said a joke that wasn't implied in the rules, but that's completely different. Here's hopes to what ya get!
