shouldnt you be playing Plague then?

From the first post.

The Doctor may need the assistance of a Nurse...
Due to all Nurses being laid off in October of 2019, unfortunately there are hardly any left in employment to assist The Doctor.

For maximum effectiveness, I named myself "Wash Your Hands" so I can educate the survivors better.
-
Probably depends on the game, DBD seems to be played by all. Other games, higher chance of it being the healer / support role or ranged dps / Archer class.

Nope, but there are a few ways to force pallet stuns, like injuring the survivor.
Got it, thanks. Looked it up to double check, pallets and locker stuns only.
-
Does the stun from the chain breaking because of the survivor escaping count as a stun that triggers Nemesis?

That's a lot of speed you have there. 7.5% speed is way too fast IMO.
Just do beacons.
-
You're a doctor, you're supposed to help and heal them, not injure them. Clearly you don't know how a doctor is supposed to be played.
-
Play Bubba and just camp and slug and have fun with it, you can pretty much get a guaranteed 2k atleast if you don't care about playing like a douche.
-
No. If anything, try to have fun and derank at the same time. This is speaking for the killer role.
-
Legion, Plague, Doctor, Hag, and Bubba recently.
-
Just quit the game if the shrine is seriously a reason for you to complain about balance and crap on the Devs.
-
Nvm, looks like Iron Maiden is supposedly in the shrine. I guess Deathslinger is the better option.

Wont give BHVR a dime until they fix their balance issues. I play even the awful killers if they're fun, I really enjoy leatherface.
Well on the subject of fun, using Iron Maiden on LeatherFace can be fun. Locker counters to his chainsaw are no more. So that's one point for the Legion choice.
-
Zarina is the best DLC character of 2020.
-
The perks on Deathslinger can probably be used more or have more synergy with other perks compared to Mad Grit and Iron Maiden.
Legion has a lot of cosmetics but it's looking like you are avoiding spending IRL money. On that note, Deathslinger seems fun to use, not saying he'll be good, just fun to use.
-
I've been using Bubba recently for a change of pace and have been using Iron Maiden on him. Definitely counters them going into lockers to avoid the 1 shot chainsaw only to get a 1 shot mallet instead.
-
The whole match is your chance to get away.

A buff? To...Pig? How could this slip past the devs?? Hangmans Trick needs to be reverted back immediately.
I think its already set to be nerf'd by the time it's live from its current PTB buffed state.

Guys it was just a fun little comment. No need to take it too seriously 😂
That'll teach you to try and have fun round these parts.

I'll take how to kill an online game for $500 Alex. Matchmaking is incredibly important for a game like this. Top survivors don't want to play with potato survivors, and mid killers sure don't want to play with top survivors. The ideal fix would be to buff the crap out of the killers, so they actually have a chance. More killers = less wait.
When I came back to this game last September, it took 5-10 minutes to get a match as killer. 4 or so massive nerfs later, killer queue is instant. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the problem.
Of course no one wants to play with people that are absurdly different in skill.
The reality is this game has been supposedly "dying" for months and people still play.
There is a lack of killers and people still play.
Ranking has been screwed for months and people still play.
These buffs to killer that you speak of would be appreciated but it'll probably never happen, atleast not in our lifetime, without survivors getting something of equal or greater value that keeps the game easy and relaxing for them.
More incentive for killers to play or incentive for more killer players to actually exist would definitely help survivor queue times but that would mean the fun factor for killers would need to increase. With games feeling like 6 minute time trials unless you play dirty while using the upper end of the killer roster for a better chance, there is only so much fun that can be had in 6 minute bursts. The nerfs you mentioned also don't help.
All I really meant with my other post is let us just accept the game for what it is now and not cling to fond memories of better times that only prolong the suffering today. Let us accept our fate as we slowly wither away.
-
Unless survivors wanna wait half an hour in hopes of getting matched with 1 killer that is around their skill range, that is online, or happens to log in; all rank and mmr is better off hidden or not existing so everyone can play with whoever they get matched with just as the game currently is. If one side is overly better than the other, just keep playing and you'll get better over time or play something else.
-
@Rivyn said:
My issue is the 'hidden' mechanic. Why does it need to be hidden, other than the fact that if something goes wrong, we can't prove it. Like the current rank system.
Probably best that it be hidden. Hidden or not, knowing or not, DBD will still play the same. The only difference is there will be less crying about rank/MMR on the forum.
-
We need a proper sandbag game mode. A special map for 1 killer, 20 survivors, 19 hooks. All the survivors try to screw each other, killer just goes on a smacking spree. Last survivor alive gets a guaranteed 32k BP. Slugging doesn't work as survivors have built in unbreakable. The incentive for unhooking is survivors get 1% more movement speed and it stacks with every unhook.
Random idea, seems fun for both sides. The only point of this would be for fun.
-
Yes, I can afford $7.
-
Maybe shooting an injured survivor should apply some sort of slow down or hindered effect like clowns bottles? Maybe a 10 second slow to give time to go around the loop or break the pallet?

I almost feel like it would be worse to change the thing people have been asking about for years. It's pretty darn close to the concept art.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
-
Excellent.
Maybe Deathslinger would be the best user of an endgame build? NOED, Bloodwarden, Rancor, and something else.
Bait em into thinking they're safe with full health at the exit, hook one, rancor the obsession, etc etc.
-
Playing the game, daily rituals, rift quests. That's about it.
Then once you have BBQ, same thing but with BBQ on.

You say that like being a cowboy is a good thing and not a done-to-death trope.
Also as far I can tell the new map is quite large.
It hasn't been done-to-death-by-daylight though.
-
Because he's a god damned cowboy
...and this here map uh his ain't big enough fur thuh three uh them.
-
Add-ons are one time use, just like it is for killer.
-
Decide based on the perks you want to use the most that you don't have. Also by the builds you wanna use on the killer you use the most.

Survivors happened.

The Crapper

High kicking Susie is the answer.

The Broken
The Suffering

Lmao. I have never come across this pallet with the doors closed. That would be such a fun moment if I ever trapped a survivor in there. We need more dead end pallets on all maps.
-
Can't tell what's going on. Is that a dead end pallet? As in she's trapped in there?

That was good. I enjoy the humor. NOED requires skill to get and use? Truly funny. Face campers, tunnelers and proxy campers work hard at making NOED work for them. lol
Losing 100% of defense objectives is the cost the skilled killer must pay. Nothing else in the game requires this much sacrifice. With great power comes great cost. Only the most skilled killers can take advantage of a perk like this that can only be made use of in the very few last minutes of the match.
-
Bondage: See all survivors within 20 meters so that you may find them, chain them, and bond with them.
-
NOED requires a massive amount of skill and sacrifice. You need to defend all 5 totems from getting destroyed that are all hidden in plain sight in various parts of the map. All while willing to sacrifice all 5 gens. Only then will the perk activate.
-
As long as you aren't having numerous emergencies per day, all while in the middle of a match, you should be fine waiting a few minutes for a timer that should be gone by the time the emergency is over.
-
Maybe these DC bans are BHVR secretly showing they care about us and our health and want us to also go experience the outside world.
-
Sounds like all these survivors just need to switch to instant queue killer side and follow every rule in the survivor rulebook.
