I think NOED is okay for starting to learn the game a bit better. However, at higher ranks NOED doesn't work as much because either A: all the totems are already cleansed. B: you get maybe 1-2 hooks before someone cleanses it. I've had a game where it spawned on a totem I was cleansing. O o ps
I rarely see people cleanse totems at Red Ranks, because I rarely see NOED in Red Ranks on both sides.
I main Killer (insert Killer main btw meme), but I also play Survivor as well. Recently I've been going half and half, but mostly staying towards playing Killer more.
The point is, I've see Red Rank Killers builds and played against Red Rank Survivors, they hardly think about cleansing every totem in the match UNLESS the match is going extremely well for them. And if they do, I benefit from it because I never use NOED EVER.
You're right that it's ok to start out with, but to improve and grow, you need to ditch it... If a Killer becomes dependent on it to get the job done, than they'll never improve and be able to play with out. So that's why I don't really recommend it to people, as NOED ensnares new Survivors to keep it in their build for more than it's needed.
At least that's my opinion, if they want to use it than go ahead, I just don't recommend it.

If the image is relevant to the topic while also not name-shaming anyone, than yes, it's ok to use outside images to contribute to the topic.
If it's just memes in a serious conversation, than it might be seen as trolling or something like that...
also keep in mind...
The image can be used in a relevant topic, but if the image is intended to point out an issue that certain Survivors were a part of, whether they were being toxic, contributing to an issue, etc, than their names do need to be censored out.
The image can still be used, but if that's what the image is for than their names need to be covered to avoid any witch hunting that might happen to those players.

You should give it a try. But at the same time, I think a killer is good when you feel confident in the perks you're using. I honestly feel perks come down to a person's play style in the end of the day
Right, its not bad to suggest perks, but at the end of the day it really just depends on what you think is useful for you.
And if it works for you, than that's fine! That's why I don't really care if someone uses NOED anymore, but I personally believe it's stunting that players progress for using it. (By that I mean they don't improve if they depend on it too much).
But we all have opinions of course.

Nothing?...
Your save file is tied to your PS4 account, deleting the game from your library and re-downloading it won't harm anything. I'm not sure if the PS4 version also does what the Steam version does now, but on Steam, our files are held in a cloud, before it was in a folder within the games files, but that hasn't been the case for some time.
For PS4 and Xbox, I believe it's always been tied to your PS4 account which is saved on BHVRs systems, so uninstalling the game won't do anything to the actual save file itself.

It gives me a decreased TR. Normally when I play Plague and people know that I am, they try and get a faster head start. This way I only have a 24M TR. I've often caught people trying to hide in a corner where I can easily block them in and get a full vile purge on then a down. Some people get annoyed by it. Plus I've noticed when I have a larger TR, survivors kind of stop working on gens to try and hide. So, with the new ruin I can see Monitor and abuse being a really good perk
I mean hey, unpredictable perk combos have proven to catch people off guard...
Not sure how, but if it works IT WORKS.

@Hex_KillerMainBTW said:
I generally main Plague along with Freddy.
For perks it depends on which addons I'm using. For example, if I'm primarily focused around getting survivors sick, I'll use incensed ointment/rubbing oil or infected emetic. With Monitor and abuse, thrilling tremors (could be swapped for your perk of choice there) Play with your food (or BBQ, you can change either of the second and third perks) along with ruin. Even with the new ruin, I'm fairly sure that it'll still be viable. With this all you want to do is spray them a little bit and then move on. If you find your obsession just toy with them a few times until you get about 3 stacks of PWYF so that way once everyone is completely sick you can get 3 downs easily. If you want to be even nastier about it use ashen apple.
Now, if you're where you can't get good LOS on survivors due to where they are, vomit on pallets, and vaults. This will force them to move into LOS if you hit them. IF they don't drop a pallet or vault because they don't want to get sick, it can land you a down. (if you want you could even use save the best for last if you want faster hits.)
If I want to get people down fast, I'll use iridescent seal along with devotee's amulet. Play with your food is a must on those since you'll move slower. Stick with monitor and abuse, you could run ruin with it (that's your choice. If they're all sick by the time they break ruin and pop a few gens the job is done.) Infectious fright or stridor for more information (could use BBQ up to you.)
You will want to respect pallets when you have corrupt purge since they can take your power away once they pallet stun you or get in a locker to use head on. However, if they're fully sick you'll know if they're in it.
Monitor and Abuse is an odd choice, how come you use that in your build? Is it for the FOV, or is it because the FOV is with the decreased Terror Radius outside of chases?

Yes this was indeed patched out, but for some reason the latest patch notes (3.4.2) does not state that it has been fixed...
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/112053/patch-notes-3-4-2-hotfix#latest
For some reason it was just shadow fixed instead, so I don't know why it wasn't listed in the bug fixes if it was indeed fixed, its not like it wasn't a known issue, the last patch notes even states this in the Known Issues category.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/108852/patch-notes-3-4-0-cursed-legacy#latest
Quote from the 3.4.0 patch notes: "Add-ons for any medkit that are meant to add charges to the medkit will not function."
Anyways, in conclusion
This was indeed patched out, as the add-ons has since been confirmed to work once again with the med-kit, flashlight, and toolbox again! (Though, the toolbox hasn't been said to have this issue... only the flashlight and med-kit was noted to have this issue, so I'm not sure of the toolbox had this issue as well).

Fair enough. I never used my bouquet offerings just because I forgot, lol.
And now you have a keepsake of the good ol times!
An offering that clutters your offering page... adding nothing but space... 🤪

Better use them now if you want them, since it won't matter how many you have when the patch comes out. They're not only being removed but also disabled, like the moon bouquet offerings.
Oh I know that, that's why I won't be using them lmao (Except the ones on the Killers that don't have P3-50, since they'll be removed if and when I prestige them).
Weirdos like me enjoy having disabled offerings in their back-logged offering screen, its just a little keepsake to something that once was.
That's why some people with the Moon Bouquet offerings didn't use them, or if they did, they only used a little amount of them BEFORE they were disabled, not the whole thing.

Than except it to either not be answered or possible moved/removed from the sub-forum it isn't supposed to be in. I have no control over that if it is moved/removed, but if it is, than there's a good reason behind it.
Posting passive aggressive comments about certain subjects that have nothing to do with a certain sub-forums and or people that visit that sub-forum is not what THAT sub-forum is used for. That's why this sub-forum is strictly for questions, it isn't somewhere to vent frustrations that nobody had a hand in, especially if it isn't really a question that anyone can answer... since what you posted is in regards to something that happened to you in-game that nobody had a hand in here.
That's why the General Discussions Sub-forum exists, the Off-Topic sub-forum, etc.

I don't want to be THAT GUY, but this isn't the sub-forum to post comments like these if they're not directly asking questions, that's what this sub-forum is for, to ask questions...
If you want to post something like this, than please at least post it in the General Discussions sub-forum.

First, tips
For one, you have to understand how Plague functions before using a lot of her tricks. Plague works off of sickness over damage, if The Plague doesn't put everyone into sickness, than you won't be using her effectively.
Here's the thing, like Legion, Plague works off of damaging her Survivors OVER downing and hooking them. The thing is though, unlike Legion, Plague can keep them in the injured state for the remainder of the game, this is due to the fear of her "Super Vomit" that will insta-down anyone that's injured and healthy.
what's "super vomit?"
The Super Vomit or "Corrupt Purge" has little cool-down after hitting someone and can be easily swayed to hit a lot of areas UNLIKE hatchets. Hatchets are more accurate, while Corrupt Purge is more versatile and usable in a lot of scenarios and areas that's too difficult to land with hatchets.
In a sense, if a Survivor heals themselves FULLY at a fountain, than they'll Corrupt the Fountain and allow The Plague to gain her Corrupt Purge ability and easily down anyone she comes across. This is why Red Ranks never heal against her, and anyone below that Rank will also not heal... but it's more likely to happen due to this mutual agreement not being shared with each other, like Red Ranks usually have.
What should I do in-game?
Simply put, once you spawn in you should start infecting any nearby generators that spawn around you. This can be done in a few seconds AND while you're walking to the next generator nearby.
If you have a Hex totem, you should also vomit on it to infect it. Why should you do this? Because it'll alert you to anyone that randomly gets sick during a chase OR when you walk away from the totem.
It isn't a guaranteed fact that they got sick off that totem, but Survivors will mostly avoid any generator that's sick, so they'll most likely get sick off of that if anything else. It's good to investigate though, as it'll land you an easy find and chase if the totem is out of its way from any pallets or loops.
Than, once you have a Survivor in your sights, healthy or sick, vomit on them and insure they get infected with the Broken Status effect. Some Survivors will naturally sway side to side to avoid and accurate hit with the vomit stream, so don't be afraid if you miss most of your vomit.
As long as you get a decent amount of hits with your Vile Purge, you'll eventually put them into the sickness. AND, it gets easier to infect them when they go straight for a pallet, simply follow behind them with a fully charged/almost charged Vile Purge and start to vomit on them RIGHT before they get to the other end of the pallet.
If they're smart, they'll either keep looping or they'll drop it and easily be infected afterwards. Remember, use Vile Purge to infect Survivors (obviously), but if it's a narrow space they have to walk through or intentionally go through, than make sure you're charged or decently charged to get a VERY EASY infection off on them!
second, perks/builds
Due to the change that patch 3.5.0 will bring to Ruin, i'll be altering my build to better reflect a suitable build for you to use.
What you'll need is Corrupt Intervention, Dying Light, Thanatophobia, and BBQ & Chili. You can also still use Ruin, but the point of this build is to actively slow down generator progress while having some tracking capabilities.
- Corrupt intervention [Plagues Perk] (This is a good alternative to Ruin, and it's arguable a better pick INSTEAD of Ruin. This perk will block 3 generators that're the farthest from your spawn for 80/100/120 seconds depending on it's tier. Simple AND works great with Plagues ability and tips, simply infect any nearby generators to your spawn and walk to the farthest generators that're blocked, you'll either find a Survivor hiding around the area OR going to the closer generators. Those generators are infected, so you won't be gen rushed off the spot)
- Dying Light [Myers Perk] (This perk is best suited to be combined with Thanatophobia, Thanatophobia simply regresses the Survivors Healing, Sabotage, and Repair speeds WHILE Dying light puts a flat 3% debuff to those categories. Now, 3% isn't a lot at first, but when you fully stack Dying Light, it can add up to a 24% debuff at the max 8 token stacks! To get tokens, just hook any Survivor that ISN'T the obsession)
- Thanatophobia [Nurse's Perk] (Thanatophobia works very well with Plagues inherit ability to keep everyone Injured for most of the game. All Thanatophobia does is give a 4% debuff to Healing, Sabotage, and Repair speeds like Dying Light, which when all 4 Survivors are injured goes up to 16%! Meaning, when combined with the 24% max debuff from Tier lll Dying Light and Thanatophobias 16% max debuff, that's a 40% debuff to all of those action speeds! This is why this build is considered to be one of her best, debatable the best for her)
- BBQ & Chili [LeatherFaces Perk] (Simple perk, it gives a aura reading for any Survivors outside of a 40 meter radius AND a bonus 50%/75%/100% BP increase in post-game. Every Tier has the same aura reading radius, but the BP percentage increase depends on the tier it's in)
As for Ruin, the new Ruin can work with Plague as it gives a 200% (PTB Version still) regression penalty to any generator that stops being repaired. You can try and use this with Plagues build, but Corrupt Intervention is a better fit, and if you don't have Hags DLC, it's more accessible too.
last, add-ons (summary)
This will be a summary of some decent add-ons to use, I won't go over everything as my fingers will fall off from typing every possible combo... this happened with the Wraith build suggestion, so i'd rather keep things simple. If you want some other combos, than do read the ones that're below to get an idea for lesser budget combos to use.
infected emetic + incensed ointment
Simple yet effective, this is one of the best combos to use that borders on the line of expensive and budget! Infected Emetic simply makes the Vile Purge effectiveness Moderately better, and combined with Incensed Ointment, it makes the cool-down for Vile Purge Moderately decreased while also making the movement speed for holding Vile Purge Slightly faster!
Think of it like Demogorgons Rat Liver, it makes it easier and faster to turn around a corner with a fully charged Shred, same with Plagues Vile Purge, a Fully charged Vile Purge is easier to maneuver with AND the cool-down is decreased, making it easier and faster to do rapid vomit hits on generators and other things.
All of the Emetic add-ons are great to use, so keep that in mind.
Vile Emetic + Black Incense
Easily her best add-on combo, hands down. Vile Emetic just Considerably increases Vile Purge effectiveness (making it A LOT easier to infect Survivors, like a lot...) and Black Incense gives you a 5 second aura reading for any Survivor that vomits during their infection.
Why is this amazing? Well, if your entire team never heals to avoid the Corrupt Purge (Super Vomit), than they'll vomit constantly and let you see their auras for the entire match!
An amazing combo, easily her best.
Vile emetic + infected emetic
This is just for if you want to instantly infect the entire team with little effort, it'll infect every Survivor insanely fast and make it easier to get into the debuff progress for your build (depends on her build...)
Basically it Considerably and Moderately increases Vile Purges effectiveness, what more can I say? Decent combo indeed.
Vile Emetic + Ashen Apple
Now this combo can work with Infected Emetic as well, but this is the better of the two. Vile Emetic increases Vile Purges effectiveness Considerably and Ashen Apple gives The Plague one free Corrupted fountain AND also increasing the infection times on objects Slightly as well.
Why is this useful? Well, the fact nobody heals on The Plague is one, and 2nd, it'll give you a lot of Corrupted Fountains, mainly because everyone won't stay in the infected phase if they can get one shot slugged by a stream of Corrupt Purge, or they won't heal but easily get downed if found.
Pretty solid build, and it's very unexpected if the Survivors don't see that fountain beforehand.
end note
If you want to use add-ons like Iridescent Seal or Devotee's Amulet than go ahead, but it just increases the time Corrupt Purge is active and or makes it easier to move while holding Corrupt Purge while hindering the time you have with it (Which is what Iridescent Seal does...)
Why don't I have any above in the summary? Because nobody ever heals at the fountains against Plague... at least not in Red and sometimes Purple ranks. It's a waste of add-on slots if you know this, so that's why I didn't add any above.
If you wanna use them with Ashen Apple to HOPEFULLY get everyone to heal at fountains than go ahead, otherwise it isn't worth it in my opinion.
conclusion
This took a bit of time to write up still, so I hope it adds to the guides above or gives more information that you might not of known.
You can always mix and match perks and add-ons to how you want them to be, but this is a solid idea of what to use with Plague.
Stay safe out there,
see you in the fog...

You're right. The answer to your question is, because the system is not well-designed. Certain survivor emblems punish survivors for circumstances which are outside their control. Worse, the Benevolence emblem in particular punishes survivors for playing too well, in a similar way to what the Devout emblem does for killers. In my opinion, the current ranking system is too restrictive, and needs revisiting. The roadmap for this year hinted that we might be getting some kind of ranking rework soon, though, so fingers crossed 🤞
I don't know if a Ranking rework ties into the Emblem system being reworked as well.
But, the Emblem system works off of the current Ranking system, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Emblem system is revamped for the new Ranking system OR thrown out entirely. Who knows, we'll have to see.
Hopefully we do get a rework for it, it's a growing issue that a lot of Survivors and Killers have talked about since the "Rainbow Rank" problem, and before that as well.

Use Huntress. Hit them with a close range hatchet, then with your axe immediately afterward. You don’t hafta wait as long as the melee attack cooldown. Any speed burst they get helps them very little since you’re already ready
Also, and I maybe wrong here, but I‘m not sure they even get a speed burst from hatchet hits. (It’s been a while for me)
They don't, if they do, it's hardly noticeable.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is any way to retrieve lost offerings. The splinters seem to have been bugged for a while now and not working for a lot of people, which was likely one of the reasons the devs have decided to remove them. When the patch that is currently on the PTB goes live, all splinter offerings will be disabled, and you will no longer be able to find them in bloodwebs.
Wish I had some, than I can hoard them with the rest of my Event items...
Just keep hoarding and hoarding and hoarding virtual 1s and 0s... y e a h...
edit
I forgot that I have a lot of Smoking Splinters, since I refused to buy Freddy before his rework and than fell in love with his pre-rework version after, so i'm good ;)
But yeah, I wouldn't worry about it now. They'll be removed soon when the next patch comes out from the PTB. The Offerings a quite buggy anyways, so this is a good reason to WHY they're being removed.
Other reasons too, but the bugginess is one of them.

Interaction between the community (when it isn't fighting), helping others out (basically in any community if i'm knowledgeable in the topic), Stealth Killers capabilities that allow me to make an actual in-game Myers at Lerys and also in-general the stealth mechanics.
There's more, I enjoy the versatility in the Roster list (even if some of it is not viable in Red Ranks, so I MAKE it viable), I like the design and concepts for each new map that comes into DBD, etc.
That's just to name some that're off the top of my head, I also enjoy the grind (but that's in any game), if I think of anymore i'll come back to add or just talk in this discussion about things with other peoples answers.
-
I guess you'll wanna close this post, or not, I don't know.
-
Also, I realized you asked for Lessen and not thicken, but the Lessen Mist offerings DO require me to have 4 people, which I don't have on hand at the push of a button ha ha. (Unless you mean "Lessen" as in the weaker offerings and not "Lessen" as in the Clear Reagent that lessens the fog...?)
Basically, the link above and below this sentence has plenty of examples for you to go off of.
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Dark_MistBut...
Does the Lessen Mist offerings even "Lessen" the mist? Since the Default image and the Clear Reagent images are basically one in the same, so would this even do anything if we brought it up from slightly to Tremendously?
Well, the Fog Offerings only just increase the amount of fog that's produced, not the thickness of it. More fog gives the illusion of more thickness to it.
That being said, what would that look like? Again, I and many others don't have 4 people on hand to go into a KYFs lobby to test this, so it's pretty difficult for me to give you an answer on the LESSENED fog offerings than it is for the THICKNESS fog offerings, since the thickness fog offerings can be stacked and equal the amount you're looking for...
But here's the thing, this has been done before in LIVE matches for me, and the results are not really that noticeable. It's not going to give you the same results as the Moonlight Offerings if that's what you're thinking, it just decreases and increases the fog, which hardly does anything anyways if you have good eyes or a basic understand of how Survivors think.
That being said, it could be useful for Claudettes or stealth builds for Killer and Survivor, but to lessen the fog? Survivors hardly do it because it doesn't benefit them, it benefits the Killer.
this explains a lot...
Since I hardly ever see a 4 Clear Reagent offering list in-game, it doesn't benefit the Survivors so why do it?
This is honestly as far as I can go unless someone else wants to gather the players to do it. Maybe i'll come across and answer in the future to see, otherwise, you'll have to wonder if there is a hard-cap on the Reagents or if they don't go past 1 Lessen.
Sorry!
-
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Dark_Mist
Look at the images below, that'll tell you basically all you need to know.
Again, questions like these require me to have 4 people in a KYFs with me, but since you asked specifically only "4 Lessen Mist Offerings," than that's the equivalent to one Murky Reagent and one Lessen Reagent.
For context, that's this image from the DBD Wiki link above:
This isn't 1 Murky and 1 Lessen, just one Murky, but it's basically the same almost. (it's of course behind the PTB but the PTB doesn't change the mist offerings...)
also...
The only thing that would change Mist Offerings is a huge engine rehaul, which the game hasn't seen since the Engine shift back in early 2019 to late 2018...
This is why i'll be using this for the example, quick, easy, and it's basically the same results if I were to go into a KYFs myself. The Mist Reagents stack off of a Slightly, Moderately, an Considerably system, so it might be thicker with 1 Murkey and 1 Lessen? But... it doesn't say if the stacking has a hard cap or not.
conclusion...
I'll still look into it later, but this should be good enough. I don't believe the Reagents cap, but the thickest I've seen is that image from the DBD Wiki, I don't think it goes above Murky, and the DBD Wiki claims that there are combinations, but it only lists 4 possible combinations.
If it does, i'll Re-@ you at some other point, unless someone else wants to do it before me OR I don't find anyone that can help me.

You could just be imagining things, as a brush up on the patch notes since the Stranger Things Chapter reveals nothing is really different, some minor things here and there but nothing major has been changed on Demogorgon SINCE his Chapter and a bit after.
And yes, I reviewed the PS4 version patch notes, they don't really say anything about a lunge decrease or shred charge decrease. You could just be imagining things I don't know, happens all the time.
I sometimes imagine some things were changed as well, but I look into it a bit and confirm that what I thought was changed wasn't changed at all.
Simply put, your mind is probably just playing tricks on you is all.

@FireHazard thank you for the link. I got frustrated when changing controls didnt help either. Even if I continuously hold R1 hitting a skill check makes me stop, so i have to let go and restart for each check I hit. With gens the progress I make between checks stays but with a box or madness it resets and I can never get or off or snap out of it. It's gotten to the point where if I see I'm playing pig and get caught I know I will die no matter what
That's unfortunate to hear, I don't personally know why this is happening to you... but if you contact support, i'm sure they'll be able to find out a solution through trial and error.
If they can't figure it out, don't fret, you can always come back to find out some more public opinions on the issue. But, if you're looking for a solid answer to your issue, than the support team is the best place to go with an issue related to controls like this.
-
That doesn't seem right, normally, when you hit a good or great skill check when searching a box, it'll progress.
I find it odd that despite doing this on multiple games, it still doesn't work for you. Are you continuously holding the M1 button (in this case, the M1 for doing generators is R1 on PS4 I believe) while also doing the skill-checks?
Perhaps you should contact support about this issue, since I've never really seen anyone experience this before...
Here's the support link if you decide to do so: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
They should be able to get to the root of your issue, as this seems like an oddly unique problem that we might not be able to help you with.
as said before...
The normal way to progress a generator, search a Billy box, or Snap out of Madness, is to hold down the M1 (in your case the R1) button while also pressing the space bar (or in your case, whatever button hits the skill checks) and once you've done so it'll progress the meter until you reach 100% on said meter.
Once you hit 100%, you'll either complete the generator, finish searching the Billy box and escape the trap or not (RNG based), or snap out of your Madness.
So I don't see why it isn't progressing your progress when you do these things, as it shouldn't normally just stop out of the blue when you hit a skill check.

Yes, my guess would be that the icon from the game files is the only version of the file that has been released publicly. Partly for practicality's sake, since icon files need to be small for several reasons. But I also think that the fact that there are no other files available online is completely intentional on the part of the devs, because that's how you protect your intellectual property as a professional designer or artist. You never make HD versions of your work freely available online, and if you do, you cover them with watermarks or something so they're useless for redistribution.
Right, that's probably why you never see the file outright used on different items and shirts UNLESS it's recreated by hand to fit the size of said item or shirt.
That makes sense as to why there's only icons available and not HD images like the OP is looking for. Either they find someone who can recreate these images to use on a shirt, or they make due with what's available.
I'm sure they'll figure it out if they WANT to bother with it some more.

Yeah, I looked when the topic was first posted, but I don't think there's anything online bigger than about 100dpi. Certainly nothing big enough to put on a shirt. Unless one of the devs is willing to share the original files, which is highly unlikely for security/copyright reasons, I think OP's best bet is to trace the original image as a vector (or get an artist/graphic designer to do it for them) in a program like Xara or Adobe Illustrator. That's usually the kind of file people use for things like T-shirt designs, because that way it can be blown up as big as you like and it won't get pixelated.
Right, I've also found nothing that reaches about 1000x1000, which is what the OP is asking for. What you suggested is their best bet, as I also doubt the devs can share those files for security and or copyright reasons.
Maybe they'll get lucky, who knows. Thanks for looking into it though, as I couldn't find anything for him unfortunately. (At least nothing the in the size he wants, google has plenty of icon images though...)
-
Maybe you can help me find a high resolution image of "We'll Make It" for him? (Entirely optional, just thought i'd ask).
As we don't have access to the icons straight from the games files, but two heads are better than one!

Ah, no YaiPa is right in that case - only the full outfits are on sale, not the individual pieces.
I think that's always been the case, but I could be wrong.
Whenever a sale does come around, I do notice only the full outfit is on sale and that's it.
-
I actually like that idea a lot, it gives players some alternate skins in exchange for helping out Australia's Fire Services.
It's optional and helpful to a cause!

I'll admit I'm not sure what the Xbox Beta App is, but I know there is a Windows app which you can link to your Xbox to play Xbox games on your computer. If that's what you're talking about, then you're playing the Xbox version of the game, which does not have cross-play with PC, either through Steam or the Windows Store. So while both games are hosted on the Microsoft Store, the Windows Store PC edition of the game and the Xbox One edition are not interchangeable.
And even if they were, you cannot transfer progress between the Windows Store and Steam versions of the game.
As far as Freddy goes, I'm not an Xbox player so I can't confirm this, but from what I can tell Freddy's DLC is available on Xbox One - at least that does seem to be the case according to this page on the official Microsoft Store https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/p/dead-by-daylight-a-nightmare-on-elm-street-chapter/c016hjpptw16?activetab=pivot:regionofsystemrequirementstab
His DLC was released back in 2017 for Xbox One I believe, several videos confirm this suspicion when you tag Xbox one in the search bar.
I personally don't know why that information is so... "buried", but this seems to be when he was released for all platforms (that were available at that time).
With that^ being said, the Xbox Beta App is still not a gate-way for cross-platform connection between Xbox and the Windows/Steam versions of DBD. If it was, we'd have more information that... but we don't, as I've not seen any information or outright claims that these platforms can indeed connect to each other through Cross-Platform play.

I see. I'm wondering how it will apply points to... is it the Brutality emblem you score points in for kicking gens? I think so.... Without being able to kick the gens, how are you going to earn points in that emblem or does it all just add itself up in the end?
By kicking pallets and hitting Survivors.
Kicking generators is a minor thing to the Brutality points system, the main points that're gathered for that Emblem is hitting Survivors. Hitting more Survivors equals more brutality points.
So, since the generators can no longer be kicked when Ruin is active, you can just simply gather points by breaking pallets and hitting Survivors like normal. Besides, if you're doing well in a game, you'll hit the Brutality max LONG before the game ends.
In a sense, this isn't a big deal points wise when you think about it.

my reaction as a killer to this, is lmao. i find it funny. why do so many killers get angry over something so silly. i'll tell you why...cos these killers are true psycopaths in the real world.
what makes it funnier from a survivors pov are the killers who can't bare to look. they have to spin around. haha
I don't think that's exactly the reason, I think it's the stigma behind it that gives it's meaning some weight.
Otherwise, if nobody cared about it... than nobody would t-bag or also care. Once a good amount of people say they hate it, than others will start to believe it's a form of being toxic or rude, when it's just a meme at the core.

I believe he might be able to help you out, as I'm unable to, I only speak English...

They've said before that skins and certain charms will resurface in the shop and or other areas of DBD.
We don't know for sure as this is the first Rift we've had, so all the charms for THAT Rift might be exclusive to that Rift, or certain charms will only be available at that time and no-where else. It's unknown since like I said, this is the first Rift so...
We'll have to wait and see, but it's confirmed that we were getting Exclusive charms for those Rifts FOR NOW, it could change in the future or it might not.
Hopefully in your case, they might add old charms to the shop from old Rifts, but that's speculation.

yeah maybe for the charms, you can only hope because it was limited. i guess its up to them but they did say that statement
In a sense, The Rift does have exclusive rewards... but this is the first Rift we've had, so it's unknown which of those charms will stay exclusive. As for the skins, most if not all will show up again in the shop.

Unfortunately there is no official date for me to give you, but from a personal estimate, these PTBs usually last about a week from when they're launched.
But that's a personal estimate, not an official source.

I'm pretty sure the old tome is blood points forever and the new tome with that certain rift will only grant the rift fragments
the dead by daylight wiki says this
If a Player didn't finish all Challenges of a Tome and another one is released, the uncompleted Challenges of the old Tome won't award Rift Fragments anymore.
@premiumRICE said:
"If a Player didn't finish all Challenges of a Tome and another one is released, the uncompleted Challenges of the old Tome won't award Rift Fragments anymore."
^this
This is correct.
The old Tome (aka Tome l) will be in its own section in the Tome list for you to complete in the future. But once the previous Rift ends that was connected to that Tome, than all the rewards that offered Rift Fragments will no longer give such a reward.
Basically, if you don't finish those challenges for the Rift Fragment rewards for THAT Rift it was connected to, than they'll be wasted and no longer available to gain as a reward for the next Rift. So in a sense, you should for sure do every challenge you can to gain a lot of bonus Rift Fragments for The Rift that Tome is connected to, otherwise, when the new Rift comes around, the old challenges for Tome l will no longer reward Rift Fragments for THAT new Rift.
So, it's in your best interest to do these challenges when they're available and NOT save them for the next Rift if that current Rift is about to close... since they will no longer reward Rift Fragments, so in a sense it's a waste to not do them.
BUT!!!
You'll still gain the blood point rewards and lore bits for that Tome the challenges are associated with, so don't worry about that. All that is removed from the reward pool is the Rift Fragments (when a new Rift opens, which usually means a new Tome opens with said new Rift).
Hopefully this makes sense to you, don't be afraid to quote me if you have any other questions related to this one.

Those numbers do help, but your answer raised another question, well I have played some intense players before, so if 5 Gens are done in 7 minutes and only one gate is open would that give enough points for brown Gatekeeper.
We can't accurate depict that information without going over several variables.
If we're talking about the new engine, than you'd probably get the bare-minimum for Silver Gatekeeper, mainly because we'd have to figure out how many generators remained for each individual minute each time (which is how the systems scores, for how many generators are left, it scores 1 point for each generator every minute for 9 minutes).
Meaning say, if all 5 generators were up for 2 minutes... than 2 popped and only 3 were left for 2 more minutes, than 1 or 2 popped and you kept the last few alive (added up to 1 generator left) for the remainder of that time, maybe being about 3 minutes for the last generator or 1 minute for the last 2 and than 2 minutes for the remaining 1.
It's very confusing, but from the sound of it you'd for sure get Brown gatekeeper and be more closer to something like Silver than Brown.

Thats a pretty big bug will that get fixed. also it seem that they purposly did it because there were only three surviors and I'm thinking the surivor purposely dropped out of the game to do it
Well, if you wish to report the bug than you can do so in the Bug Report sub-forum.
Here's the Bug Report sub-forum link: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bug-reports
Or, you can also continue with a support ticket if you believe they were intentionally abusing it WITH or without proof. Entirely optional, but if you can see that it might be a mistake, than you can report it in the link above to the Bug Report sub-forum or report it to the support team as a bug.
Here's the link to the support team again if you want to follow up with the report OR report it as an bug: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us

You can find their names in-game or in recent players in your steam applications, for in-game you simply click on their names in pre/post chat and it'll bring you to their steam profile page.
If you're on console than you'll have to search them by username.
To report them you need an in-game report (which you can file by clicking on the thumbs up/thumbs down icon next to their name and score during the post-chat game). Any video or screenshot evidence helps, so do keeo that in-mind if you have any.
Once this is done, you can file a support ticket to follow up on your in-game report (this is optional).
Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
Video evidence does help a lot, and an in-game report is mandatory!

That's true. I wasn't sure if I got them before bills release in the bloodweb or after in the shrine. I just had a feeling. Seems pointless discussing it anyhow. Seems to be triggering some folks
I'll take the high road and ignore that indirect reference to my posts, glad you could find an answer in the end, even if it required me to repeat some things...
Good luck.

And that bug didn't even have anything to do with the PTB.
I forgot to add that I remember seeing something about that but couldn't find it anywhere for some reason...
Also, the bug was so close to the PTB (literally coming out during the first day of the LIVE release), that I sort of forgot it wasn't related to the PTB directly.
Simple error, I'm now aware of what actually happened though.

PTB is more of an illusion of control, where you think your opinion matters before the changes go live. Unless of course, it affects "survivors fun."
A lot of updates in the PTB have made Survivor changes more plausible for the LIVE version, so I wouldn't say it only changes Killer related things to "help survivors have fun" as that isn't true.
You'll have to wait and see! 3.5.0 isnt LIVE yet, so who knows what will happen.

Those sub-forums exist for these kinds of post, to give feedback as well as receive it as well.
But, I'll answer it regardless.
I personally wouldn't make a Ruin rework on the day after the perk was announced to be reworked... Anyways, I dont understand what "skill checks have the perk appear in the middle of a skill check" as that sentence doesn't make a lot of sense...
And this change just sounds about the same as regular ruin with the added bonus of a 1.25x regression penalty when damaged and limited skillchecks appearing, this is still WHY they're trying to move away from the perk anyways...
Not to shoot your idea down, but the side notes just sound like arguments to why the old Ruin was fine... so I don't see why they're there. If you want to rework a perk, I wouldn't give reasons why the old or similar reworked perk is fine as it is, so I'm not sure what to say to that.
