If the game wasn't fun, it would have died out already. Despite all these doom and gloom complaints, the game isn't dying and has manage to keep a stable playerbase over the years.

Game is definetely not dying and I hope it will never do in far future. But fact is fact, game is more dull.

    • Survivor's experience was horrible and now even worse, don't wanna go in there
    • Killer's experience got more dull. No more tricks, no more mindgames, just "Hulk: smash" and speedrun against inadvertant genrush with perks. If you want guaranteed win: please camp and tunnel. If urge for self-assertance is fun, well, maybe it's fun. Gameplay-wise... Duh...

BHVR really need to come to terms with themselves and decide if this game is for 1% tournament players, or for everyone.

  • To be honest, this update doesn't feel like End-Of-The-World, it just intensified a little what we had before. From my two days playing (10 games as killer and 10-12 as survivor), it just a little bit easier for killer and a little harder for survivor.

As a killer no one uses deadhard anymore. Not that it was huge problem to me before, but now it's just easy chase without mindgames. Survivors started to focus more on gens, which make the game even more dull.

As for survivor, you cannot properly heal (no time or no means), so everyone almost always stay injured.

Again, reflecting it all on Tome challenges, killer-ones almost done, everything from first attempt. Survivor-ones - barely did two (one with "escape" took 8 games, until completely potato killer was given, like COMPLETELY).

Tendency is sad, games are less fun for killer, because from mindgames and strategy it came to bruteforce. For survivor it is much less fun (even than before), because you are now more on gens than chases, and die even more.

And camping/tunneling got EVEN MORE severe.

Usually tome challenges gave me some reason to play, but now thoughts like "f it all" become frightfully more persistent.... Not that DbD will lose anything without me, hope it is only my "minority" issue...

  • Probably never, because it's a "valid strategy"(c) and otherwise killers have to put slightest effort to win the game.

  • In this case problem no so much in MMR, but in "killer win expectation".You had been winning all the time and got to top MMR where only smash teams exist, they are probably above your skill level, nothing wrong with it, but IT REALLY FEELS OFF to lose as the killer. I'm guilty of that myself. I was staggerd yesterday when got 0K on my perkless doctor while fixing controls (that all gone completely to default after patch), then I just realized my impudence and pamperedness.

I don't know what aspect of the game make it so harsh, probably assymetry (because it is not that close in any other multiplayer game), but we have this here.

Killers got very upset, used to constant winnings and suddenly they got to lose. Survivors, on the other hand, accustomed to constant losing, therefore suicides and DCs at first inconvenience (because what the point).

I think Entity got to us all and dryed us emotionally to the end.

By the way, psycologically comfort win rate is 30%-50%, which is much higher that we have as survivor, and much much lower as a killer. Therefore frustration: most survivors have loser mentality, most killers tilted over a single loss.

As for your current solution: just play and don't afraid to lose few games, your MMR will drop and you get easier teams.

P100 doesn't mean a lot, btw. Constantly matched with P100 on both sides, and they die like flies, while some P3 Cheryl can carry whole team to the end or be complete nightmare to chase her down.

While I agree that the game is killer-sided, there's a 0 percent chance that 8 hooks at 5 gens is a frequent scenario unless you're starting a new account every day or you play Nurse and you count people disconnecting after your first blink as 3 hooks.

    a) 1 got downed and being camped, another one immediately went to save and got downed under hook, third one fell for the same mistake. At the meantime I'm close to finish first gen.

    b) Dreadful "SWF", nightmare and fear of all killers here, focus on flashlight saves and altruism and get wiped in first two minutes

    c) First one got downed and suicided on hook (super frequent scenario)

    d) One got hooked, saved and hard-tunneled, while teammates ferociously try to protect the tunnelee.

That are scenarios I just could remember from scratch. Yes, it happens and it happens too often for my liking. Usually everyone is dead on 2-3 gens left, but gameover at 5 gens not too rare, sadly.

  • @Caiman said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3404859#Comment_3404859

And 8 hooks (probably 8 stages) at 5 gens is very frequent scenario.

Glad I'm not in your matches because I haven't been dealing with that at all. I don't win as soloQ survivor often but my games consistently get at least two or three gens done, at minimum.

Frankly I wish everyone stopped acting like persecuted victims over a video game.

Please, don't shift it to immaturity or foolishness of people.

I spent and invested much time in this game, I care for it, I like it. But it is sad to see how onesided it become over and over. Am I victim? Nope, I'd completely move to other games, because it's just a videogame, no biggie. But that doesn't prohibit me to not caring about that game at the moment.

I don't know what fantasy land you're talking about. Every time a killer player makes a thread complaining about how hard the game is, they receive nothing but an entire parade of "skill issue" and "git gud" and "quit playing".

    @Crowman said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3404787#Comment_3404787

People are often very selective about the feedback they read. It happens all the time on the forum.

Survivors complain that only killers cry for nerfs despite the topics about tunneling, camping, or whatever the meta killer perk is.

Killers complain that only survivors cry for nerfs despite the topics about dead hard, gen rush, or whatever the meta survivor perk is.

You probably missed the point. Of course there are complainers from both sides, but from killer side it ten times more, like "OMG, I was killing everyone and got to top MMR, now they dare to wipe floor with me, nerf survivors". Maybe I'm so lucky, but I constantly see complaints how hard killer life is.

I intentionally don't mix it with camping/tunneling threads, because it's just unhealthy exploit to game design in general, not one side.

But the MAIN THING is that in my fantasy land, I almost never lose as the killer and almost always as survivor. Fact is fact, that's why crying about killer hardship is something like flat-earth or santa-claus to me.

Of course, I cannot say what would happen if magically camping and tunneling would gone (killer experience wouldn't change, but as survivor there could be major increase in victories), but for today, I have what I have. And 8 hooks (probably 8 stages) at 5 gens is very frequent scenario.

120 Days? I am pretty sure that's much longer than would next chapter realese (with that also comes new rift). Nah, this would just delay new rifts for all active or less active players for the sake of who? People who will play 1h per 10 days? No, thank you.

At that point you can just make them permanent (which would be nice), but you and I know that's not gona happend since the battlepass in games is not designed in the most friendly way for ALL types of players. It's for regular income of money for the company.

Yeah, problem is I played almost every day for 3-4 hours and got to the end before two-weeks deadline.

But if rifts are only for people that play DbD 10 hours a day without weekends, fine by me, I just want to hear it officially.

  • Last rift I did two weeks before deadline, though I did almost ALL of the challenges in book (few survivor ones are left on page 4). So in my opinion rift should be like 120 days. For the sake of people who don't stream or live in the game, but play couple of hours after work.

  • I didn't read all the comments, but I think there must be a lot about your "skill issue" and "learn to play".

The thing is that because of pressure of crybabies, some two unofficial laws settled:

    • killer must win all the time
    • learning to play applied only to survivor, killer shouldn't learn

Because some very skilled survivors that live in the game make hard time for killer on tournament-level, survivors named "OP" so 90% of survivirs players have to be tournament-level themselves, otherwise it is like on your picture.

I just compare how much I win as survivor and as a killer, 10%/90%, so I believe target point is 0%/100%. Next thing should be removing pallets and windows, because they can give some annoyance to killer.

  • Bubba, because of 100% camping.

    Pyramidhead/Wraith/Nemesis/Legion, because almost always tunneling.

All others are pretty much OK.

  • Just buff Sadako and remove slugging mechanic. Tons of ideas were brough by people, but devs ignoring them, they hate Sadako for some reason...

    Simple changes:

    • make getting condemn "gradual", like Wesker's or Plague's infection - the more you heal, more condemn you get, not just +1 on health state change => no slugging gameplay
    • buff her in general, so she could be more opressive (make ring drawing, Iri tape and Newspaper basekit, make getting condemn over time, survivors can't carry tape and item at the same time, no speed debuff while manifesting, remove lullaby) that way she could be somewhat on par with other killers
  • I was saying it before and repeat again: for some reason in DbD Ada looks like she is 12 years old (both face and body structure)

  • Absolutely agree on every point. Also there are obstacles and pallets on the map that obstruct easy killing and gloating. Plus survivors have to do only 5 gens, where it should be 50 at minimum. Because losing as a killer when you are wasted, or went to toilet for 10 minutes during match is not acceptable!

  • Controls is a hugely outdated and obsolete interface in general in DbD, which for some reason devs completely neglected for so long, but it is hardly difficult task.

You can't bind multiple buttons on same action (I had to edit .ini file manually)

You can't set any sensitivity you like (my mouse sensitivity is lower than available in UI, so again I had to edit .ini file)

You can't separate certain actions (pick up/vault, enter locker/vault, etc).

You can't disable "helpers" like auto-pull.

  • I even made post about is back in a days with number, but it was before "Killer patch".

Bubba is off the charts (99% of camping)

Usual campers: Wraith, Nemesis, Huntress, Trickster

Usual tunnelers: Nemesis and Pyramidhead (by a landslide), Legion, Pinhead, Wraith

Most toxic ones (that will highly likely hookslap, bleedout while nodding, BM in EGC, etc): Bubba (by far), Wraith, Clown

But all in all, all other killers camp/tunnel 20-30% of time (which means at least every 4th game will be guaranteed waste of time)

  • All very good suggestions.

About part 5 I was going to make a big post with example of how to organize perk/addon pool (idea, of course, stolen from other games and revorked for DbD needs) with pictures and thorough description, but I doubt devs will read the post, let alone try to implement ideas, so I just grudged my time.

  • It was funny? I probably missed the time when he was. Now everyone is camping bubba.

  • Hawkins was super fun. Difficulty-wise was much better than Lery's, for example. I wish it would return. Also I still sceptical about all thouse "palace intrigues" with removing whole chapter and not informing peasants of reasons.

  • Not that I "care", but just don't play scummy. Also almost always let last one go if I win.

  • There could be 3 criteria:

    • killer strength
    • killer fun/looks
    • perks

The one that meet all three, in my opinion, is hot crow-mommy.

Deathslinger not strong, but fun, if you like FPS.

Twins is kinda fun (i don't know why everyone hate them), but that's all

    Legion has good perk.

Oni is strong (but has high skill-floor)

Dredge - not everybody's cup of tea, but pretty fun

  • On one hand I completely support and agree two things OP mentioned:

    • camping is bad and loosing strategy with decent survivors and up.
    • if you can't deal with camper, you are bad

Also another very true thing that was mentioned:

    • camping is extremely boring for everybody

But there are Problem is, to not to be bad, you need to be close to Ayrun level. How many people are that good? And how many people are ready to invest their free time to get to that level, not just play couple hours in the evening?

I personally have 1.5K hours and when camping/tunneling happens (30% of games), it's 9 times out of 10 immediate lose. Just like that. Yes, I'm bad, hundreds and hundreds of people are bad, but fact is a fact.

Yes, I'm not that god that can singlehandedly save survivor from camper, it will end in me being downed and the unhooked one get tunneled in the next 10-20 seconds, which stall the game even more. And I cannot coordinate other survivors. How? Wave a hand?

I already take Kindred in 100% of cases, but people rarely pay attention. Even if they do, and two come for the rescue, one make a mistake and again everything fall apart.

Let's pretend that I'm not bad, but I will continuously lose until I get in a skilled group. Ok, 1 game, 2nd, 3rd, 5th.... Nope, haven't rolled the dice, dumped another 10 minutes of my life. Next match?

But to hell with winning/loosing, problem is: no one is playing! Everyone either sit hold M1 and go out, camped one just hang on a hook, killer slaps hook and nods like #########. That's the gameplay? That's what we all want to spend our free time for? Well, I doubt it.

So, in my opinion, camping should be technically removed by devs (how - that is still a question). I know that trash killers immediately starts wailing how "it is proper strategy" and "you cannot win without it", but for the health of the game, I belive it should be removed. Just as a convention of the game. Like, why can't you mori survivor after first down? You have f-ing chainsaw, saw that goober in half! No, you can't, convention of the game. So should be with camping.

And as a bonus, bad killers will have to learn how to be good, apply pressure and macroplay, and it will stop millions of band-aids from devs that doesn't help the majority of playerbase, but get abused by top-tier players.

I know when Im playing against survivors who's better than me, which certainly I should lose.

Im not going to get 4K at all cost, 4 slowdown, tunneling, Blight to play against squads of 4 Ayrun,Zubat who are completely out skill me then beat me to dust and I make complaining.

Are the survivors are actually just decent, or they're out skill you because your MMR isnt where you should not be.

Golden words. But it require some maturity and wisdom to undestand that, which usually is not an option here.

  • It's easier to count how many times I didn't let last one go. It would be either some achievement/book challenge or someone should serously misbehave, like seriously (some think that flashlight click/save or pallet stun are the worst possible crime known to humanity).

If someone decides to DC, I can let everyone go (but I have 2 dc's in this year, so not very common)

If one survivor left and last gen is almost done, I usually gift "Left for dead" achievement, also always try to give last surv "Outbreak breakout" on RPD. If they are not hit in the head and understand it, be my guest.

I can't believe I have to explain this, but people being affected by their drinking water being polluted is not the same as "I don't like this thing in this video game".

    So stop making the comparison!

I can't belive I have to explain this, but it was never a comparison but a grotesque example of clinging to small situational benefits whilst having global and severe peoblems. The only one who made a comparison is you, probably to turn on SJW mode and distract from the gist of my message.

everyone (literally) complain about outdated factory that pollutes rivers and forests, and people suffocating from smog, but you are for keeping it because sometimes you may need a cheap plaster.

    Sure ill play a hypothetical.

Yeah, lets not disrupt our only supply of plaster. We need to make sure needs are taking care of before we destroy the only source of it. I also want to say idk how this smoking polluting factory came to be the only supply.

And what means "to the Survivors". Aint you a survivor sometimes? Because that's very convenient to play only a fun role. But that is very selfish to think that 4 people should suffer because of one's entertainment. I think everyone could cope with losing some cheap cheesy tactics to the benefit of the game in general.

    This game isnt a charity.

It's not only supply of plaster. It is supply of cheap plaster for now and then without effort. Until it can be. When it is depleted, you are broke, because you only know how to get cheap plaster.

And yes, the game is not charity, that's why it shouldn't be enjoyable for only one side. Because, unlike with cities and factories, you cannot force people to take it as a job. They will leave to other games (like 4 of my friends did), which I doubt is good thing for current game.

We came from "what's wrong running around the hook" to "why 4 people should entertain one for free if it is not their job? It is not charity." Now I have two questions.

  • At first I was super confused and lost, literally suffer more of using her power than just going solely M1. But after researching a little and playing her few dozen times I kinda like her. Not like Sadako, but still enjoyable.

My only complaint was (and still is) is her visual design. Don't get me wrong, she is hot booty mamacita and I like it. I just frustrated that she is simple girl with knife and tinfoil mask (especially when we have S.T.A.R.S. survivors now, looks pretty silly). If they made her cyborg, like same model, but claws is her hand, half face is mechanical (where tinfoil mask is), parts are robotic, etc. She would be menacing and super cool.

Artist - scary and hot. Plague - menacing and hot. Spirit - super scary and super hot. Huntress - menacing and try telling her she is not hot. Merchant? Well, nice bod, love.

I'm sorry, are we comparing people complaining having a bad time in a video game to environmental pollution?

    Really?

Is that seriously how far we as a species have fallen?

We have fallen really far if we can't give up something situational for the sake and health of the whole game. That was the point. Please, try to read it from beginning.

It's not "bad time". It's literally uncounterable thing in the game that a) deny everyone from playing the game (holding M1, hanging on the hook and sniffing hanged survivor's crotch is not playing), b) completely unfun, detrimental for improvement (on both sides) and c) sparks so much anger and hatred which benefits to the game are questionable at best.

So yes, how far have we fallen?

  • @Emeal said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3375674#Comment_3375674

First of all, if we remove something situational and destroy this way a huge chunk of unhealthy gameplay that lead to frustration of so many people (survivors hate this for obvious reasons, killers drown in negativity and insults, etc etc). I think it is a fair trade.

I disagree here, I don't face camp and I don't like to have my situational situations go to the Survivors because someone else camps.

How is that a fair trade to me? It isnt.

In my whole experience I don't remember a single time when it could punish me.

Be careful about that sorta thinking, just because it isnt a problem to you does not mean its fair to everyone.

Example: everyone (literally) compain about outdated factory that pollutes rivers and forests, and people suffocating from smog, but you are for keeping it because sometimes you may need a cheap plaster.

Be careful about that sorta thinking, just because it isnt a problem to you does not mean its fair to everyone.

It would be far more fair to remove cheap exploit so "everyone" wouldn't end up on high MMR where they don't belong (because they used an exploit) and get completely steamrolled by skilled survivors, what only give birth to more annoyance and anger.

In short, killers survived basekit BT, survivors survived nerfed DH, everyone could survive absence of facecamping (There would be crying from bad killers and the beginning, but when didn't that happen, right?), and it improve health of the game drastically.

Personally, playing a survivor is something like go naked through blackthorn thicket, everytime super frustrating and painful. You should try it for once to see other point of view. Playing killer is always fun, I get that. But we need other side too.

    Yeah... No.

The thing is, DBD is the biggest community of whiners you have ever seen. If the Blocking-Feature would actually do something, people will block everyone they dont like.

You will have Survivors who block Killers they lost against. You will have Killers who block Survivors who escaped. You will have Killers who block Survivors who teabagged or played in an SWF (if it is a constant SWF it is even enough to block one of them). You will have Survivors who block Killers who are Nurse/Blight/whatever-Mains.

The DBD-Community is not mature enough for such a feature.

They will do, but only a fraction of them. I hate to came again to DS example, but it's playerbase much smaller that DbDs (especially after 5 years) and it didn't die. And there was whiny community too. I agree, DbD community is much more whiny, entitled and childish, but I still believe it wouldn't harm in general. Especially if they add block-cap, like Simfeliz supposed.

No, it has a knock on effect. Maybe if they had a system where you could only block 5 people at a time. That might work.

At least that. I'd vote for 50, but, as it said, bird in a hand worth two on a gen.

You have to read a lot of Suggestions regarding this topic to follow along.

But the jist is loads of suggestions in the past are bad cause they intersect with normal gameplay, so you cant do much and it just ends up getting in the Killers way. You might say you are okay with power prevention mini rules if they get in the way of someone Face Camping. But I dont cause I play Killer and sometimes when we play around a hooked survivor. I think that is fair, I believe the Killer should have control of their power to punish that kind of play.

Let me get this straight beforehand: I'm genuinely interested in this and not trying to push my survivor/killer agenda or attack somebody. I literally don't understand. Because when I just ask questions or make suggestions, people start to get angry and go full toxic mode.

First of all, if we remove something situational and destroy this way a huge chunk of unhealthy gameplay that lead to frustration of so many people (survivors hate this for obvious reasons, killers drown in negativity and insults, etc etc). I think it is a fair trade.

For example, adding 5 seconds unhook protection basekit was also inconvinient (telling you as a Hag player), but we still living with it and managed to play still and no one died (figuratively speaking).

Second thing. In my whole experience I don't remember a single time when it could punish me. If someone running near hook, I'll chase him, I would chase someone anyway, in this scenario I don't even have to search for the next victim. And the hooked one is completely useless. I don't remember many times when my survivors in my killer-games proceed through hook stages (few times when they got one-two complete potato clueless survivors).

  • They will just stand 5 meters away, won't change much.

  • @HaunterofShadows said:

Probably not. People would just use it to block anyone who plays in a way they don't like.

If it will increase their queue time, it's their personal responsibility. But I don't see any problem to block someone you don't like to play with. It's not a job where you have to, it's a computer game, on which we spend our free time deliberately.

And again, example with Dark Souls, didn't hurt it at all (but there was huge problem with cheating and I have huge blocklist of DS cheaters)

  • @Emeal said:

cause it intersects with any system to prevent facecamping.

    You got me lost here...

  • @Mooks said:

No, in DbD this feature will just block those people from being able to send you friend requests

That's very very sad. Will it be implemented? Question to Devs.

  • @Emeal said:

And how would you propose to nerf that without changing the game experience for us who play Bubba but dont facecamp?

The problem with most anti-face camp features that people on these forums keep cooking up is that if a Survivor decides to loop around a hooked Survivor. It all falls apart.

I still don't understand what is wrong with 1 survivor run around hooked survivor. It's at least 2 don't do gens, it's like ideal scenario to me. I couldn't count how many strong teams fell apart doing this (only yesterday SWF with flashlights and Reassurance fell apart to Merchant on Cowshed for the very same reason)

  • Facecamping Bubba is not a problem with Bubba himself. Problem is with mentally-challenged players that play this way, you cannot ban them, it's not appropriate and correct. It is very frustrating when you're on some challenge/achievement, but life is life.

You reminded me of something I wanted to ask long time ago...

  • Survivor: RPD (because it doesn't change)

Killer: RPD with Sadako, everything else pretty much the same. Struggling a lot on Lery's and Eyrie.

Sorry, but I'm not going to answer the sheer amount of strawmans and "off topic" arguments you wrote there. I would only say:

but how you determined what "complain" and what is a "real problem"?

In this forum? Whoever wants to give an argumented opinion of why it is a real problem or not. For real? BHVR, or at least is what they should do, not just listen to the cries of people.

gens flying because survivors has nothing else to do against camper

Gens always fly the moment 4 survivors, SWF or not (thanks to the Status HUD Icons) coordinate a little to do them, more so if some of them bring gen progression perks and tools. And this have being one of the biggest issue with the game since at least two chapters now. That's why it is a problem.

If game is balanced around top-tier tournament players, who will play it?

First, nobody said "top tier tournament" balancing. What I said is not balancing it around casual players. And would play it the people that really enjoy the game and want to adapt to get good at it, not the entitled players that want the game to adapt for them so they can play however they like and still win.

95% of players won't dedicate 10K hours to be able to play

Nobody said you have to need to employ 10k hours to start being good at the game. But even now you need to have a certain skill level if what you want is win games, and if you don't work to gain it it's your fault and only you. And that wouldn't be a problem if those people didn't want for the game to compensate for them not wanting to be good at it, like I already said (in reality it wouldn't be a problem if BHVR stopped listening to this kind of players, but oh well).

Of course you won't because you already start to contradict yourself. Like "First, nobody said "top tier tournament" balancing", but in your first comment your words was "Games need to be balanced around the "extreme" end of the bar".

To stop this fruitless arguing, I just leave something to think about, mostly for other people. Getting better at the game is super great and it should be that way. But not to the tournament level. And definetely it shouldn't be onesided. I have 1.5K hours, if Steam don't lie, and I have very big problems as survivor. Sadly, half of the time I have to play survivor, every match is always a tryhard pain and complete unfun experience with win rate 1/10. How many hours I need more to git gud? 1000? 10000? Why killer experience is quite the opposite: manageble, fun and controllable? SWF, bully squads, coordinated teams, you name it. Yeah, I lose sometimes, but who said I have to win 100% of time. Maybe killer-players should be better too?

Main idea is: now killers getting to upper-middle MMR (either by just playing or skyrocket by abusing cheap tactics) and stuck with skilled players because they don't belong there. If we imagine that BHVR will go crazy and buff killers, it will end up in getting ALL killers to Ayrun/JRM level, and they will still be complaining "why cannot I make a single hit? It's so unfair, make killer speed 6m/s!" Where on casual (aka MAJORITY of playerbase) level it will be literally unplayable on survivor side. It mostly is already, what I see.

Then you are the perfect example of why you can't balance a game taking in count the casual players. If they balanced the game taking in count your skill level so you can escape more times, the people that are escaping 70-80% of the time would escape even more as they would have it more easy. I think it isn't so hard to understand.

And one thing is talking and giving feedback around genuine problems the game may have, other thing is losing because you can't or won't do better and complain about the balance. For example: I go against the Nurse like I go against any other killer, she use her power to teleport to me and hit me everytime I want to loop her at a pallet. The only conclusion is that Nurse power is broken and need to be nerfed, not that I need to learn how to play against her and get better at the game.

So, you people need to stop using the "casual SoloQ players" as an argument for BHVR to do or not do needed balance changes (like the ones being discussed in this thread) thinking it is a valid point to make.

For some reason, very shortsided point of view. If game is balanced around top-tier tournament players, who will play it? It will die faster than mayfly. Good example: Quake Champions. What needs to be done is finetune MMR, because that is the only way to match good players and casual ones with their respective opponents.

More of that, giving feedback is absolutely great, but how you determined what "complain" and what is a "real problem"? In your very example with Nurse you say there no need to improve? Why? I saw how Ayrun loop Nurse like there is no tomorrow. Another example: OP cry that gens fly and he need to camp and tunnel. I clearly see that author cannot see reason and consequence (gens flying because survivors has nothing else to do against camper). Better watch on YT how killers deal on high MMR, for example, even against genrush squads (real genrush, not what many talking about, most of cry-killers never seen real genrush squads).

And finally, why "we people" (I don't know who is "we" and is it some disregarding address) need to stop ustin "casual"? I'm not a tournament player, never will be, I bought a game and I want to play. Where is designated requirements that game only available for pro-top-tier players? And why it is not applied to other side?

So balance on extremes when on high MMR killer (where he doesn't belong, but skyrocketed there with cheesy tunnel/camp) get gens done in 3 minues to 10 minutes, on low MMR gens will never be done. 95% of players won't dedicate 10K hours to be able to play. Very silly idea to kill the game.

You said it like it is the wrong thing to do. Games need to be balanced around the "extreme" end of the bar, because if you balance it taking in count the bottom of the barrel those who are above that would crush the other side. So, the talk should be around those "extremes", not the "casual 99%" that don't have any intention to be better at the game and blames anything but themselves when they lose.

You mean it should be available to 1% of playerbase? Well done! Welcome to BHVR planning team! I'm sure it would be very beneficial.

I have 2K hours and still escape 1 time of 10 (don't have any problems with killer, though). Probably I'm that poor guy that don't have any intention to be better and blame anything but themselves. Like too fast gens, t-bags, broken map layout, DH, comms,.... Wait.... Oh, right....

we only talk about extremes in these forums buddy. Every survivor match is against comp wannabe blight/nurse with broke addons and every killer match is against seal team 6 swf who communicate with each other via hivemind

    True, true...

  • I'm thankful for visual design. Lover their designers and how they implement characters or drawing maps (last update to red forest was top notch)

  • I could say what the problem and how to fix it, but don't see any point, seeing all this words-flow in caps, looks like breakdown.

    Increase the gen time 100%

right now a good team with BNP do their first gen, for free in like 17 sec.

    its unhealty.

What about 99% of other teams? Casual and without BNP?

  • My only complaints about hooking was that screams start not when hook ripping through body, but after that, when survivor makes himself comfortable, grabbing hook and then start screaming. It's so silly. But why they decided to just prolong screams in first place... I don't know. Maybe change so screams start minute after hooking and last 30 minutes?

You missed the next category of: Then you got killers who play normally

It's on high MMR, so doesn't count here
