  • This should be a one time use then like Mettle of Man not multiple.

  • If MoM gets nerfed than so should every training wheel addon...killer is in a wayyy better place than it ever has been, and survivors don't really have the training wheel perks they did have last year, and even more prior. There is still plenty that needs to be balanced, but frankly this survivor perk doesn't. If you play your cards right half the time when you get to use your MoM it only prolongs your death by a few seconds. Sometimes its a game changer if you can save it for a pivitol play..but that is just situational.

  • I feel like there will be less DCs against Legion now; but at the same time..There is no fun in playing him now based off what the patch notes said. I feel like he got two nerfs instead of one.

  • i love the idea of endgame as a survivor main myself. I just hope they get rid of killers being able to abuse their hitboxes and keep you trapped in the basement for this. Because being held hostage by killer is also a thing.

  • Exactly; they are going about this all wrong. There are simple ways to stop exploits, and it is just disabling the feature until you can properly fix it. We shouldn't have to report users for exploiting the game, just disable the issue whether it be a perk, an addon, or an entire map. Don't force your players to have to put up with people ruining the game to "have fun" at someone elses misery.

The reason survivors have such perks is because at the base game killers are far stronger. All a survivor has are pallets and maybe a flashlight but those are almost useless now (at least for saving teammates). One or two helpful perks aren't much of a problem, but realize that as the game goes on and more stuff gets added, people will choose to combine the strongest perks, sometimes with items as well, which makes it very difficult to beat them. Killers have perks, items, and Moris to help them as well, and those who use the good combinations the best end up in the higher ranks, so they face each other.

This may not always be the case, and sometimes you may end up in a rank with other powerful people when you aren't running the best perks, items, or have the most experience, and it might show in the results. Part of the draw of a game like this, or indeed any type of online multiplayer game, is that you never know what's going to happen, or how the match is going to go. All you can hope for is a decent match where people try their best and have a good time, win or lose. =)

*It's worth noting that things are constantly being changed, tweaked, and balanced, so that things remain more or less level and everyone has a fair chance. Who knows what changes will happen in the future?

Very well put to be honest; and do your second remark about rank specific perks I WOULD LOVE THAT SO MUCH! No DS, MoM, Noed, (insert another killer perk here that urks me and I can't think of) at higher ranks so you are forced to play smarter with your skill set.

  • If LF gets buffs his ability to down more than one survivor with his chainsaw at one time should go away then. He isn't high tier yes, but he has a really good ability that is basically just used to face camp. LF will never be a respectable killer until they get rid of his face camp to secure extra kills for altruism mechanic. I'd love to see some LF changes though.

  • I agree 110%; it just feels so clunky.

  • I'm not a fan of the constant survivor nerfs-killer buffs every patch. Killer does need a lot of work to help with balancing, but the game is just starting to get to a ######### point where more people are just switching to killer because it is frustrating to play survivor with the issues not being worked on (hit boxes especially) There is no way to have the game be 100% balanced and fair since the objective is to kill, and you 1v4, so survivor will always have a slight upside advantage. But the constant ignored bugs are really killing the game for myself; and im sure quite a few people in the community. I have over 1200 hours and I think its time to just call it quits personally it's not really the same game it was two years ago, and that is a mix of good and bad; it has evolved, but after every good change it usually takes two steps back the next patch so the progression to being a better game is really taking far to long.

  • the vomit range is pretty annoying; mainly when its the red vomit, the green being far is whatever. Not a fan of the hitting multiple survivors with red vomit in one go because it feels like cannibal chainsaw when someones on hook; free camping mechanic really since red fountains are basically freebies when playing against her.

  • I just want something new, more buildings, it has to be one of the most boring maps

I agree with this; why not have NOED 1 be you can only down 2 survivors, NOED 2 =3, NOED 3 is all. That would have been a better start then just letting every limp dick loser who can't play easily get a free win. Or limit NOED to killer's that don't already have an instadown ability. #Tea

Because it's a hex perk and if the guy is camping one guy as bait. You can easily cleanse the hex away...

You couldn't do that with the original version of NOED and you had to ditch the guy getting camped or you are guaranteed dead.

Surprising you said every limp dick loser who can't play easily....then what is DS? Loop the killer to hell and then free escape? Sounds like limp dick losers too....

Most killers cannot counter looping. Even with mind games if a good survivor vs a good killer. That's a free escape after a long loop. Sounds more bullshit than getting a free one shot ability at the end of the game when the gates are open.

I didn't say anything about DS; and my point was that NOED shouldnt be able to down every survivor at rank 1, it should be exposed on two random survivors and work its way up to 4 with rank 3.

  • I'm leaning towards he puts on different masks for different powerups; one for stealth so hes quiet like a stalking myers, one to go faster, ect ect. Or maybe his powers grow as he gets kills and when its down to one survivor he has a built in mori? That would be interesting.

your fault, don't 3 gen yourselves

its not a 3 gen when he can shock the majority of the maps with certain addons :) but thank you for your input!

i know its frustrating to lose against one of the worst killers ingame, but coming here on the forum, complaining and asking for nerfs wont help you in that point.
this will only draw even more attention on the fact, that you have lost against one of the weakest killers this game has to offer, plus you achieve nothing but that people smirk when they see your threat.

I mean you have a point; but I'm just voicing my opinion. btw didn't lose that match :) just spent over 20 minutes trying to escape..and did..but that's the point no one should be in a game for that long and his addons allow this to happen. point blank period

  • I'm really hoping we get a Wendigo as the next killer based on this map :D

I'm sick of teammates not doing gens, not doing chases, not going for the unhook and just waiting for everyone else to accomplish 2 gens and die, so they can escape through the hatch, it's toxic and not fun.

If you can't be a good teammate and contribute towards winning you deserve to lose and the hatch existing makes this not the case.

The killer should be able to close the Hatch and get it stuck closed. However the survivor should be able to open it in a 10 second animation (Where the survivor struggles to get the Hatch unstuck) but stopping the action resets the progress to opening the hatch just like cleaning totems.

Wouldn't that basically ensure the last survivors death?
What possible play could a survivor make to pry a killer away from the hatch for more than 10 seconds short of leaving, and being tunneled mercilessly?

this would only work/be okay if the killer was not able to see the hatch and camp it; and if you get it opened there shouldnt be the option to pull the survivor out of the hatch once its open you escape

  • This is a serious post to me and a lot of my friends I play with on a regular basis who are POC. I've thought about this ever since the cannibal was released and saw this was a cosmetic you could unlock. I don't enjoy being disregarded and considered a "troll" for trying to make a statement about racism being appropriated in a virtual game. We are the players that keep this community alive and can make a difference.

  • Yeah this idea is cancelled; thanks anyway though.
