Does anyone else get annoyed by the traps? I'm a grown man and I literally jump out of my chair every single time LOL
You have two options:
Crouch the entire match
bring a flashlight

I personally only run BBQ for the bloodpoints. The info you get from it becomes outdated really quickly, and allows the survivor you hooked to be easily unhooked. Idk what is so bad about gaining hella bloodpoints.
Yes, BBQ is really good compared to other killer perks, but it doesn't really do anything detrimental to the survivor team. Plus it gives them a free unhook.
-
I usually don't camp, tunnel, or mori, but for Blendettes I make an exception.

I'm a claudette main, and I wear the orange apron and purple pants with the earrings head. Would you do that to me? Not every claudette main is wearing p3 and selfcaring in the corner of the map. I understand BLENDETTE mains, but not all claudettes are like that.
no i would not do it to you. You seem like a cool gamer.

You and every other ra-... I mean killer. If you want to play DBD on hard mode just be Bl-...I mean blithely like most Claudette/Adam/Tapp because you know...they're hard to se-... seeth with rage because they're so nice and we all know killers hate Bl-...blithely survivors that are so carefree...that's why killers usually call me a ni-..nice survivor after every match I play as those survivors...

Lol. No, i only do it because there's always that one Claudette that sits in a bush while my team works on objectives and stuff, making the game a 3v1. Claudettes pay for their sins when I play against them.

Slugging and tunneling makes you a try hard. Accept it
the key word in unpopular opinions is "unpopular".

i only do it to Claudette mains.
-
If you play claudette you deserve to be tunneled and mori'd.
Spirit if fun to play.
Oni's power is an original concept.
Fu*k springtrap in dbd.
Use D strike and become my butt wipe.
Steve Harrington's perks are viable.
I like the aesthetic of the doctor.
Hillbilly is not fun to play.
So yea... I have no friends.
-
Woooaaahh entitled survivor alert
and why exactly are you playing against killers stupid enough to camp and tunnel WHICH PUTS THEM AT DISADVANTAGE BTW? Riddle me that, nerd.

nah you see its limited cruelty so its fine.
Ah i guess i read it wrong then. my bad.
-
Yo honestly i think cruel limits is OP because is sounds really cruel and Op
-
Because there isn't really a downside to running slowdown perks.
-
I only say none because all of these terms have kind of lost their meaning. Slugging is counterable so I don't see a problem there, I personally never get facecamped, and people who say they do define it as the killer being within your line of sight which is stupid, (although legitimate facecamping exists at lower ranks) and at this point tunneling can be defined as when the killer chases a survivor.

His name is uhhh Filly. Billy's sister in the lore. They have one hit down attacks, 120% run speed and can fly. Small cooldown of .002 second (can't be too op).
Full killer control of the match. Can actually go into the menu and remove players doing too well.
Has to be 100% free to prove the devs aren't Communists.
Wdym? A price encourages capitalism.

He shouldn't but to me the new survivor looks like Fred from Scooby Doo

i may or may not have neglected to do so

Well he charges at you and hits you with his weapon a billy and demo combo, except you have to hit objects for him to continue, kinda like a pin ball.

He runs really fast but he cant attack. He must hit an object or a wall to ''slam'' it. Then he can use his power again but THEN he can attack. Its just a basic attack and no one shot. The steering is of this sprint is very weird and bad.
If he is out of his power he has a fatigue like legion, but also he uses charges like new bubba for his power. Every time he uses his power he uses a charge.
This power is very clunky. I dont find it very fun power to play.
I'm play legion a lot, and a clunky, unsatisfying, punishing, and annoying power like this sounds great!

what's his power?

That wink makes me think that the alchemist (AKA the new killer) is actually Dwight. Also don't pressure him to talk about it.

True. And I also think as they have a competing product they are very unlikely to allow it. But as always in life... money.
Good point about the money. The only question now is what is more important to the devs: The Majority of their playerbase, or eating more than one meal a week?

Anyone know if surveillance works with ruin? I'm kinda uninformed

why is his face the inside of a pumpkin? Or is that me?

-
Is everyone aware that Friday The 13th The Game owns the licensing? You are now.
-
Really want Candyman in the game, not sure how he would work though.
-
I actually have a decent concept for a Jekyll and Hyde chapter:
survivor: Henry Jekyll
Killer: The Two-Face
POWER: Split personality
Press the POWER BUTTON to activate split personality. ALL survivors, as well as the Two-Face, morph into the appearance of Henry Jekyll. This effect lasts for 30 seconds. During this time, survivors are afflicted by the Blindness status effect. They will also be unable to see the health state that their fellow survivors are in. The Two-Face has no Terror radius while SPLIT PERSONALITY is active.
Special ability: Grab
While SPLIT PERSONALITY is active, The Two-Face can preform a GRAB instead of a BASIC ATTACK. This will immediately put the survivor into the dying state, and they are automatically picked up and able to be hooked. Survivors will not be able to tell when another survivor is hooked. The following effects happen to survivors depending on the survivors hooked within one activation of the power:
1 hook: 2 meter terror radius
2 hooks: Can activate detection perks such as spine chill
3 hooks: blindness effect lifted, survivors can see the health states of other survivors
once a survivor is sacrificed or killed, or if the timer runs out, SPLIT PERSONALITY ends and is put on cooldown for 35 seconds. this can be shortened with add ons.
SPRINT: While using SPLIT PERSONALITY, The Two Face can activate a 115% speed boost to help catch survivors. This lasts for 5 seconds with a 3 second cooldown.
Other details:
when not using his power, the two-face has the appearance of Henry Jekyll.
When SPLIT PERSONALITY is active, the two-face has all of the mobility of a survivor (crouching, hiding in lockers, dropping pallets, etc.) He can even pretend to work on generators. This not only shows him how close the generator is to completion, but survivors will see a repair progress bar that displays false information. Survivors will see the repair bar as if two people were working on the generator, whereas the two-face will see it as if one survivor was working on it, meaning only the Two-Face will get the accurate information.
Teachable perks for The Two-Face
Dual Act- Activatable perk. When damaging a generator, Dual Act will be able to be used as a secondary action. After 5 seconds, the generator will be damaged a second time. The second damaging of the generator will cause 15/7/0% less regression.
Hex: Cruel Enigma - A hex rooting its power on haste. These effects persist as long as the related hex totem is standing.
When Generators are completed within 15/25/30 seconds of each other, all survivors who worked on either generator suffer from the EXHAUSTED and EXPOSED status effects for 10/15/20 seconds.
Twisted Mind- One Survivor in each trial will become your OBSESSION. The obsession can stay on the hook longer without dying. However, they will always suffer from the hemorrhage status effect when injured by you. Their healing and generator repair speeds are moderately increased. Each time you hook a survivor other than your obsession, gain a token up to a maximum of 3 tokens. You gain 0/1/2 tokens for sacrificing a survivor. You spend a token each time a generator is completed, a hook is sabotaged, or a totem is cleansed. all tokens are automatically spent once all generators are completed. Each token spent has a different effect on the obsession:
1 token spent: Causes the obsession to scream intermittently over the span of 15 seconds.
2 tokens spent: Anytime the obsession fails a skill check, they are inflicted with the hindered status effect.
3 tokens spent: Until the obsession is sacrificed or killed, all survivors suffer from the oblivious and blindness status effects.
This perk has no effect once the obsession is sacrificed or killed. Once 3 tokens are gained, No more tokens can be earned until 3 are spent. The maximum number of tokens decreases to 2 after 3 tokens are spent.

i think stridor should just be disabled during phasewalk. It's overall a very bad perk and doesn't deserve a nerf, especially since a nerf in this game is the equivalent of multiple shots to the chest via a Glock 18
-
Thanks for your help. My only question at this point is whether i should get it on game pass or steam. Although i may do what isilmerel suggested and test it out on gamepass, then buy it on steam if i like what i see (Lol idk if that was even what you were trying to say but whatever)

Golden girls would be great, but i'm still waiting for my Scooby Doo chapter!

No worries! If you know the name of your laptop's model, you can search it up and you will usually find a list containing info like CPU, GPU and Ram as well as other specs. Alternatively (I'm not sure about this, haven't searched my specs in a while), you can go to the start menu at the bottom of your screen and type in 'System Information,' which will give you the option to open a window containing system information on your hardware.
You can also go to settings and click on 'About' and then on 'Device Specifications.' This list is much more coherent than system information in my opinion. You can use websites to enter in your specs to see if you can run a certain game/what games you are able to run (With a search option to see if you can run a specific game). Hope this helped!

thanks guys! my specs are:
64-bit operating system
8 GB RAM (7.75 GB free)
intel core i5 10th gen

I personally tunnel (and sometimes camp) blendettes and whatnot because of my experience as a survivor. While my teammates and i work on a generator, there is always that one wannabe vietcong soldier that camps in a bush the entire game, effectively making it a 1v3. Getting tunneled by me when i play killer is how these people repent for their sins.

Try the xbox one 1$ membership for a month on pc and download it for free, there you would able to see if dbd will be able to run and see if M&K or controller would best fit you. Then decide whether you want it buy it or not
What are your specs btw
This is embarrassing, but i don't know how to check my specs. Iv'e never owned a computer before this one.

If you cant run it perfectly (at least 45fps) you can try using geforce now if you have good, wired internet. Im playing dbd on my 3 years old 300$ laptop on fullHD 60fps.
I have a 1Gb speed internet and there is no delay playing on cloud gaming.
Also, its free (1 hour sessions, after one hour you have to re-open the game, or you can pay 5 bucks monthly for 6 hours sessions without waiting time)
What are you referring to when you say "it's free?"

Diversion is actually a viable spirit counter in my opinion, since it leaves scratch marks. Most spirits rely on sound, but some scratch marks can definitely lead them away from you. The problem of course is activating diversion...

Went pretty well. One guy dead and 2 other were dead on Hook.
Played on Haddonfield.
Btw, I guess the "gg ez" guy thought I was trying hard to much.
Haddonfield you say? I think that would have been a 3k/4k on most other maps, Good job!
-
Because they hope that you have no brain and think "This survivor ran directly at me and gave me a free down! Wowie how kind! I will pick him up right now because he can't possibly have DS, right?" Usually survivors will only do plays like this when the killer isn't doing so well in that particular match.. I believe they call it "asserting dominance"

DH is perfect. This kind of hex is amazing because it's one of the few times as a survivor where I'll go "OH SNAP", and that kind of sudden tension in this game is what I'm playing for.
I like playing with and against DH as well. I overall like the idea of a powerful perk requiring work to actually use. This idea could also be implemented into A noed rework!
-
Sorry to disappoint everyone here, but ghostface is a registered trademark of Fun World, creators of the ghost face costume. The licensing deal was with them, not the creators of scream. Sidney coming in a survivor-only chapter is an interesting possibility, but is unlikely all the same. It isn't impossible though!
-
my idea for a buff is that the pig can see which boxes unlock which traps. This way, she can patrol the map in such a way that allows her to chase away survivors that are approaching the correct trap. If you think this encourages camping, that is not the case. Picture this: if you have 4 traps in use, then three survivors are most likely getting traps off of their heads. if you only have 1 and camp the corresponding box, then a generator or two is going to get completed in the process. I also think that ambush should be silent and with an improved range. Trap timer also deserves to be shortened.

Easily David

I don't want to have to run Franklin's every match. I want to run better perks. Honestly i think keys should be reworked to open exit gates and chests faster or something. I know that sounds extreme, but note that i didn't touch the add ons. I've lost so many games to the hatch as is, and i don't even want to talk about how often i lose to keys.
-
A Noed nerf is a far better option then taking it away from killers. Besides, as others have said, it's not even a busted perk compared to the likes of haunted grounds and devour hope. BooHoo, the killer can one-shot you. Get over yourselves and just use that key that every survivor i play against seems to have, but i digress. The Noed nerf i suggest is that survivors open the exit gates faster by default, with an extra 3/2/1 seconds for opening time taken off every 5 seconds the killer is in a chase. This will make Noed less of a crutch for newer players. I can already hear you saying, "what about remember me?" but it in this case, i guess it can be changed so it doesn't work in conjunction with Noed
-
Run your ass off for 60 seconds. Also, Just because Myers has a good 1v1 doesn’t mean he needs a nerf
