Do you really want to go back to old DS, old BT, old brand new parts etc?
-
Oh yes. I get my daily diet of Starstruck double range add on Nurses.
-
Horribly unbalanced map.
-
Nurses, Blights, Legions, Spirits, Hags etc would have awfully long queue times.
-
Generally no. Once in a while I'll gamble devour hope on my vanity mirror Mikey build as totems tend to stand a better chance of lasting longer on indoor maps.
When I do manage to get it going with a small terror radius and wall hacks it's so much fun.
-
Mikey's. That classic John Carpenter Halloween chase theme is the best.
-
I am the same. Dweets do not die on my watch.
-
I always have played non meta killer. Mikey main for four years now.
-
For Mikey I think stalk should regenerate on survivors if he has not stalked them for X amount of time.

You we’re nice too! But Im not quite sure who you were playing, Was it Dwight by any chance?
I was indeed. How did you guess?
-
@LittleBigSunset @Leachy_Jr @Pepsidot @Phasmamain I've played with all these nice people.

Tell that to all the people who got stalked by Myers T1 without knowing, then.
That's their own fault. You have to mind your surroundings all the time as survivor. Doesn't even have to be against a stealth killer. A lot of killers run Tinkerer too.
-
Nope. I have my one killer and survivor main both at P3. They're the only ones I care about showing off my prestige level as they're the ones I play 99% of the time.
-
The 3 second stun is the worst change.
-

It's good that most stealth killers aren't detected while undetectable, but the perk still ######### Myers over as he needs line of sight to do his stealthy #########.
Getting to tier 2 has been made easier for him because they would usually scamper when you were looking their way at the beginning. Plus the mirror builds just became more viable too.

Fact is if they trigger DH when they start to hear the swing, the server validates it.
When i was playing (cause i have stopped DbD), at a good MMR most survivors timed it perfectly even when trying to bait it with head movements.
I've never seen that happen. The biggest evil of dead hard was it being used for distance. I have always found it easy to bait out.

You cannot bait DH against a good survivor. A good survivor use sound to trigger hit.
Yes you can. Its a guessing game. They don't know when a killer is going to take a swing at them.
-
-
I really hope this 3 second stun duration doesn't make it past the PTB. Survivors need more than 3 seconds. Especially against killers like Nurse and Blight.
-
Now I wonder did that happen around the time boons came along, or is this a long standing statistical trend.

Dead Hard is dead and buried. I'm happy.
Sad to see NOED didn't get the same treatment though...
Ditto. But being able to see the aura of the Noed totem in end game is a very nice change.
-
As a Mikey main I really like this one. It was one of the biggest enemies of the stealth killer, especially when doing jump scare Mikey.
Also RIP to all you spine chill/resilience loopers. Your days are numbered *evil smile*.
-
Talk about dancing on an already bad perk's grave.
-
Wow that was a lot to digest. What a huge shake up to the meta. I like the majority of what I saw.
Still a bit iffy on DS deactivating once the exit gates are powered. But I guess getting 5 seconds of BT and a 7% haste boost at least gives you some sort of chance. And if your rescuer is running BT that's 15 seconds total.
Overcharge sounds insane. I agree this could be new meta. Especially if paired with Pop.
I'm still baffled and amused and how they gutted Self Care even more than it already was. Talk about dancing on its grave.
-
Considering he can no longer be purchased then probably not. They'll always keep him in a playable state with bug fixes and stuff for the players who own him. But I doubt he will get any further updates power wise.

That’s sad that that’s the case.

Really??

Surprised to hear this. I thought everyone just hopped in lockers and took the L. Unless ofc they’re DC’ing during the kill animation lol.
Its usually the ones who are copping it that DC.
-
I main Mikey so it's definitely tombstone piece. Not that I run it often but when I do a DC is sure to follow somewhere.
-
- Halloween: I am a die hard Halloween fan and this chapter brought me my favorite killer. Michael Myers is an icon of horror and I love his play style and how versatile he is with builds. Been my main for four years. Laurie is a great survivor and while DS was not always a balanced perk its now one of the best and most balanced survivor perks in the game. Love Haddonfield, again something that wasn't always balanced, but now its a great map, visually beautiful and faithful to the original Halloween movie.
- Demise of the faithful: Plague is a solid killer, she is a good counter to the healing meta, and brought some great killer perks to the game. Thicc Jane is cute and head on is a funny meme perk.
- Curtain Call: The Clown make not be a great killer but he's a lot of fun and I have a soft spot for evil clowns as I am a huge fan of The Joker, so the Clown was always a hit in my eyes. He brought two excellent killer perks to the game. Not to mention MAURICE. Our beloved Maurice. Kate is another cutie survivor and windows of opportunity is a very nice perk.

I shouldnt have to take chances and hope my team mates are in a similar skillset as me.
I disagree, I'd rather my 3 team mates not save me and finish gens against a facecamper than to go for the save and give the killer more free kills.
You shouldn't have to but you have no choice. The current SBMM doesn't cater to skill. It caters to how often they escape. You could be playing with three survivors who have skated to high MMR because they chilled in the back of the map and walked out the exit thanks to their team mates doing all the work. Again getting aura reading on the killer doesn't change that.
What makes you think your three team mates would not try and save you even if they knew the killer was camping? There's a reason BT is meta. Not that survivors with no BT don't go in and save too because that is just as common. Once again something that aura reading on the killer doesn't change.

So it's a hoping game.
I disagree that it's better. Me saving someone without BT and they dont have DS and go straight to the hook again wasted time i could use to finish a gen.
Solo queue is all about taking chances. You don't know what perks your team mates have or how much experience they have. Having aura reading on the killer doesn't change that. Only bad team mates leave you to die on hook in situations where there's a chance for you to be rescued.

Why without the killer aura reading? One of the problems in solo q is that people go for the save because they dont know the killer is camping.
With aura reading the only people that would suffer would be facecampers.
Unless its a face camping Bubba or tombstone Myers then the killer camping isn't an issue. You make the decision to save if you have BT or risk a save and hope the survivor has DS. Either is better than just leaving them to die.
-
Survivor: Kindred. I agree it should be without the killer aura reading.
Killer: Corrupt. It runs out after 90 seconds and you become a three perk killer for the rest of the match. So I think its perfectly fine being base kit for killers.

If they were ever going to get something, they would have by now.
They've been in the game for almost five years, and Quentin at least hasn't received even a Winter Sweater, something every other licensed Survivor has managed.
Laurie has not managed to get a winter sweater.

Dwight will always have a special place in my heart.
Back when this game was brand new, Dwight was considered the 'worst' survivor to have in your team, because his perks didn't bring anything 'great' to the team (this was back when perma sabo was a thing, Self-Care was much better, etc.) I levelled him up first and stuck with him all the way for a long time back during the older larger bloodwebs and he's the only survivor I have who has legacy cosmetics.
Whilst I've varied up my survivor choices since, he was my survivor main for a good 3-4 years so he's always going to have a special place in my heart.
That love for Dweet is just 😍
-
It was very nice when they were doing the no mither challenge 😜
-
I've not had many, but the handful I have had I was very grateful to.

Hexes aren’t supposed to be searched forever 🤷♂️
No but they're not meant to be found without even trying to find them either. You walk up to do that gen and you see it. No effort.
-
Sweaty.
I am enjoying Dweet's masquerade mask though.
-
Its not been a picnic on survivor side either. My first night of the event I got three face camping Bubbas. One match I made a miserable 2k because of it. Flan well spent.
-
My Dweet has been wearing his since I unlocked it.
-
Nope. The Pigs I face are not susceptible to boops.
-
Survivor: Bond
Killer: Monitor and Abuse (Mikey main)
-
Its horribly unbalanced for killer. Tons of safe pallets. Main house is a dirty loop that is still rough even if you have bamboozle.
-
Hatch is fine how it is. Only one person can get it. They cannot instantly open it with a key. The killer can close it.
The old hatch system was awful.

Pyramid and Freddy are actually quite solid. Also, I would say that Bubba, Nemesis, Pinhead and Demogorgon are mid tiers. The only weak licenses imo are Pig, Sadako, Ghostface and Myers and the only one of these who is unplayable for how bad he is, is Myers.
Normally I'm more lenient towards judging licensed killers because they have to be fair representations of their original material. Sadako for example is an excellent adaptation, it's just that she is really out of tune with the game's balance. Meanwhile you get Trickster, who is an original killer, that has a copy paste of Huntress power but being absolutely garbage. I would say that it is much easier to forgive Sadako than to forgive Trickster.
I main Myers. He is far from unplayable. I win most of my games with him. And no I don't use tombstone to do it. Most underrated killer in Dbd.
-
Well I main Dweet so I had to have the pizza slice one. Then I have the pot of gold one from Prime because I am Irish. My third charm is a pride charm (the feathers of pride one currently) as I always support that.
On killer Mikey is my main so I have the pumpkin charm because Halloween and Mikey go hand in hand. I have the pot of gold charm for the aforementioned reason. I have the Dweet crow charm because I main Dweet and it looks like a Halloween decoration. Goes well on Mikey's hook.
-
Hell no. Mikey is one of the most fun killers to both verse and play as for me. He's my main. Love him.
-
@PNgamer Big thumbs up for having Mikey's entirely Halloween themed.
-
I rarely use them in solo queue for obvious reasons. But if playing with friends I will use them.
I only have one of each from the previous two years left on Dweet which I am keeping as a memento. Same with Mikey.
-
The nightfall aspect of Dredge's power is interesting.
