I am disappointed they did not revert the nerf to the 3 second stun on DS. The deactivation at end game is fine. But the stun needs to go back to being 5 seconds.
-
Overall they are great changes. Kudos to them for listening to community feedback.
-
Imagine trying to get out of the basement safely in 5 seconds, especially if the killer blocks the stairs and slows you down.

@Dwight_Fairfield what do you think my friend?
I agree. If we want to be true to the movie character then Michael would never make any sounds like that. He is silent when he gets shot and stabbed. So being smacked with a pallet shouldn't cause anything more than some heavy mask breathing.
-
I've had four killers dc tonight. Three of them were in a row. I don't know what's going on.

Michael is hardcore. He does not care, he has no mercy, his soul is black, and he cannot be mocked without repercussions.
I have been playing him since the beginning and I rarely have a game where I did not have fun. It is especially pleasing to see the jumpscares from the survivor side when you play a streamer. He is one of the rare killers that each side can have a blast with.
Same here. I've been a Mikey main for four years and he's so much fun. Very versatile with builds. And I win most of my games with him too.

I saw some rumours somewhere. A new Myers skin wouldn´t hurt.
I saw one too there last week. It was with all the Stranger Things rumors. It was regarding a new Myers skin in October. They even had a name for it. It was called Corroded Evil.

Allyson has been In more films and male survivors tend to do poorly In dbd but he would be a sick legendary
What? Alyson has been in three movies including the upcoming Halloween Ends. Loomis has been in Halloween 1,2,4,5,6, and had a flashback cameo in Halloween Kills. Loomis is Halloween royalty right up there with Michael and Laurie.
-
If they're going to add a new Halloween character I would much rather see Dr Loomis above anyone else. I like Alyson a lot, but nobody else compares to Loomis.

Actually my favorite way to play Meyers is the Mirror add-ons. You lose the exposed hits but I love the stealth and auras at will. 🙂
If you like insta downs and want to get spicy you could run Make Your Choice or Devour. I've had success with both using the mirror add ons. They cannot hide from you 😈
-
Because Mikey cannot be robbed of his power by looking at him. His add ons are way more fun (and powerful) than Ghostface's. Plus he's Michael Myers.
-
Michael
Dwight
That's all I need.
-
I'd rate Trapper and Pig worse than her, but yes she's pretty bad.

In my exp it's more like every third camps (really camping near the hook, not counting imidiate returning into it). Could be luck on my side, or misfortune on yours.
But regardless of that, when bubba can face camp at five gens, that means he could down someone fast. Which the survivors should try to avoid. Esp. at the beginning of the game, with all pallets up, you should be able to loop a bubba for some time so that maybe one or two gens get done before you get downed. Thats the real issue I have with many of my soloQ games against bubba, teammates dropping like flies against his chainsaw. And honestly, in this situation, you are better of with a camping bubba (if the teammates are smart enough not to try rescues).
Its map dependent too. Some maps have dead zones e.g. Shelter Woods which is where the first match happened.
-
Its much more balanced. Yes there's still some strong loops but its light years away from old Haddonfield.
-
Last night was surreal with some of the team mates I was getting. This Feng who got in a locker and stayed there long enough for two crows to gather. Then the Nurse pulls her from the locker.
Next match was one of the two face camping Bubbas I got. This Meg decides its more productive to crouch near the hook and watch the Bubba camp instead of knocking out as many gens as possible. Myself and the Steve were trying to get as many gens done as we could. The Nea being camped was a trooper and held on til the last second for us to buy us as much time as possible. But Meg head did bugger all.
Next match was against a Plague. This Yui kept cleansing every time she got the slightest bit of infection on her. Even when she had never been hooked. The Plague had super puke all match and was snowballing with it thanks to the cleanse happy Yui.

I would say Hag is great at camping aswell but nobody is playing Hag ever
True. Same with Trickster. Trickster is very good at camping too. You can knife spam someone coming in for the save and get them down very quickly. But the Tricksters I get don't tend to do that.

It's not a Bubba problem, it's a people problem.
Then why aren't 99% of all the other killers doing the same thing? It's because Bubba is excellent at camping. If he wasn't then it wouldn't be an issue.
-
I am sick of it. Practically every Bubba I get does it. I had two tonight do the insidious face camping thing. At five gens.
I legitimately cannot remember the last time I faced a Bubba who played normally instead spending most of the match staring at a hook.
-
I liked it for doing jump scare Mikey. Other than that it was terrible.
-
I can back you up on Mikey. I main him and often win my games with a three gen strat.

Man, I just need a sweater for Laurie, that's what I most want in this game
There is a dark blue sweater she wore in the original Halloween movie they could add if they are restricted to just cosmetics from the original.
-
Michael's burned aged mask and older bad ass Laurie.
-
Ideal change is have stalk regenerate on survivors if he has not stalked them for X amount of time.
-
Mikey.
Because Mikey.
-
Personally I have no problem with Clown. I only hate it when they run pinky finger.
-
The same as it is now. Bond, Borrowed Time, Prove Thyself, and We'll Make it.
-
Maybe once a week I'll get one.
-
DS and Self Care sure did. Completely unnecessary.
-
If you want to do a jump scare Mikey build then I suggest vanity mirror.
Ever since they buffed it its become one of my favorite Mikey add ons. Sure you don't get the wall hack range of scratched mirror but you get normal speed, lunge, and you can still jump scare the survivors if you have dead rabbit and Monitor on. As a Mikey main I highly recommend it.
-
I used my Bond to sandbag a Claudette who spent most of the match creeping around doing nothing.
-
- Haddonfield. Captures the aesthetic of the town in the original Halloween movie
- Ormond. The snow is beautiful
- Dead Dawg Saloon. Really has that wild west ambience
-
Didn't the actor who plays Quentin give his blessing to make Quentin look more like him? I know its not his decision to make but if he was behind the idea and it still never happened then it really shows its just a case of the license holders being too constrictive with the license.
-
Same. I win most of my Mikey games. The toughest games are on the super unbalanced maps like Cowshed, the Game etc. Most killers struggle on those maps so when I do have my losses its usually on maps like that.
-

Off the Record and the new Endurance meta say otherwise.
I sincerely hope that Off the Record buff doesn't make it past the PTB. Its too much.
-
After four years in the game and not a single cosmetic in sight I wouldn't say so. The Nightmare on Elm Street people seem to be completely rigid when it comes to the license. They couldn't even get the original Robert Englund Freddy. They had to settle for the 2010 remake.
As a Halloween fan I'd have been very disappointed if we had gotten the awful Rob Zombie remake Myers and Laurie instead of the classic John Carpenter originals.

No one is suggesting I run out of EW3 you except you - A survivor main.
After sinking 200 games into Trapper in this event he is vastly superior, if a survivor is disarming traps when my traps automatically re-arm then they are wasting time and getting pressured enough that they need to do so.
What makes you think I am a survivor main? Because I'm named after Dwight? Nice blind assumption. Do you judge everyone here by their name?
If you want to wave your big stick around time spent on a killer then I can do that too. I've been a Myers main since 2017. I've sunk thousands of hours into him. I know other killer mains with thousands of hours in the game who don't think he's even close to being the worst either like Scott Jund for example;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7wp7RrzRfw&Do I think Myers needs buffs? Of course I do. Most of the killers in this game do. But he has too much going for him to be the worst.
You just said you need self setting traps to make Trapper tolerable. So you're basically relying on an add on to do what Trapper usually has to do without it. Which doesn't even address the issue that if they know where your traps are they'll just avoid them.
-

Myers can only use EW3 limited amount of times whilst a Trapper can do it whenever.
Trapper can also use addons which takes a full HP survivor to downed if they escape the trap and auto re-arm them.
So he is stronger.
But you cannot rob Myers of his EW3. If he wants to pop it when he has eyes on you then he can. If you want to disarm Trapper's traps then there's precious little he can do about it.
Michael has limited EW3 but that is not an issue if you play effectively. If you have run out of EW3 and most of the survivors are still standing then you've been playing badly. Simple as that.
-
I'll confess I said yes to this option because licensed characters so rarely get cosmetics. So if we can get more, even if its for a limited time, then its like any port in a storm. I'll take it.
-
Not even remotely. Trapper is your definition of an M1 killer who can even be robbed of his power if survivors disarm his traps. Myers has small terror radius in tier 2, insta down ability, fast vault speed and huge lunge in tier 3. That alone prevents him from even being a contender for worst killer. Not even taking into account the add ons he has which can boost him even more.
-
It's criminal that Dweet doesn't have his own charm yet. One of the original four survivors of the game.
-
@Maperson said:
Myers is literally the worst killer in the game
Not in a million years is that true.
-
Its usually about 3 weeks after PTB.
-
Favorites: Mikey, Billy, and Demo
Least favorites: Legion, Nurse, Bubba
-
I can live with the end game nerf part. I think that's ok. But the three second stun change is nonsense.
-
On killer never. Been a Mikey main from day one.
On survivor I was initially a Laurie main as I am a die hard Halloween fan. Then I discovered Dweet and I've never looked back.
-
I'm still playing.

What do you mean, but what about everytime I get Genrushed by the SWF sweatlords?
they can't just have free wins every game like that..
You don't have to be facing a swf to get gen rushed. Any competent player can sit on a gen.
-
They will never remove swf. If they do that then they kill the game. They're not going to punish players for playing with their friends.
-
As a Mikey main, if I'm not in tier 3 I just stalk and I phase right through them. They never expect it.
