Its got to be Legion. I feel like they are in a league of their own for this. Mending simulator matches are the essence of tedious.
-
Very happy with it. Best change that came from that patch.
-
Since dead hard was nerfed none of them really annoy me. I guess the one that sort of frustrates me is sprint burst the first time they zoom away from you. But once you realize they have it its not a big deal.

Today could be rift fragments.

Myers has 3,97% pick rate and 52.19% kill rate. He is not performing so well i guess. But this is Steam players only.
Oh it doesn't include console? Sadge. I am on console and I main him. The console players out number the PC players too so I guess its not that reliant for data.
-
Mikey; I love how versatile he is with builds and play styles. You have jump scare Mikey, scream for Mikey, vault master Mikey, tombstone Mikey, tiny terror radius Mikey etc. He's such a fun killer and a very decent killer too when played properly.
The only two aspects about him I dislike is that there is a cap on his power. While I think that should be removed and stalk should regenerate on survivors, you can still win if you are very skillful with your stalk and when to pop your tier 3's. The other is tier 1......ideally he should start with it at 99%. That way he can begin th match oblivious and sneak up on survivors. Maybe get a cheeky grab off a gen or totem or something. Or just tap himself into tier 2 as soon as he spots a survivor if he likes.

Yeah, the mods asked us not to post links to it though since it uses Steam API to grab endgame data from players who opt into that and DbD doesn’t officially support Steam API. They don’t seem to mind me posting statistics from it though. 🙂
Could you do me a favor and take a peek and let me know how my boy Mikey is doing since the patch please?
-
Trapper, Pig, and Sadoko are the bottom three.
Trapper requires too much set up. You have to hope nobody saw where you set your traps. Even then your traps can still be avoided making you a killer with no power.
Pig has no control of her own power and is just reliant on RNG.
Sadoko is a poor man's Wraith/Demo. Its almost impossible to get anyone condemned if they have two brain cells to rub together.
-
I don't see her too often but I see her more than Jonah and Yoichi.
-
There's an aggreate site for kill rates on each killer?
-
The problem is, at least in my experience, is that most campers don't care about points or pipping, they measure success by the number of kills they get. If they manage to face camp two or three people to death they see it as a win because its a 3k even if they come out with miserable points.
-
I'll always heal a team mate in need if they want me to.
-
I have no problem with Haddonfield. On either side. Yes it still has some strong loops buts its way more balanced now. Its actually one of my favorite maps.

I don't judge by prestige level. Someone who is tier 1 doesn't mean they're new. They could just be using a character they don't usually play much for a daily or something.
Same as how someone with a high prestige level isn't a sign of skill. It just means they've spent a lot of points on a character.
-
Mikey is my favorite as he comes in all different flavors. One of the reasons I love playing him too.
-
Legion for the constant mending.
Pinhead for all the irritating chain nonsense.
Trickster for the brainless knife spam.

This sexy man;

The meta was never going to change in terms of killers bringing gen regression and survivors bringing second chance perks. It's just how the game is in order to succeed in your role.
The only thing that's changed is the perks that have become the new meta. It's not Pop and Ruin any more, now it's Overcharge and Call of brine. Off the record has replaced DS. Sprint burst has replaced Dead hard. Prove Thyself is becoming popular because of increased gen repair times.
In a year, two years are we just going to see another shake up where the meta shifts but not really as we're just doing the same thing but with different perks again.
-
Dweet for survivor.
Mikey for killer.
-
I always love reading stats like these. Good job. Not surprised you managed not to get a single Twins or Hag. They are by far the rarest killers I see.
-
I concur. I am also on the EU servers. I played solo for a couple of hours last night and the team mates I was getting acted like they had no more than 20 hours in the game.
-
100%. They're all taking advantage of the bug.
-
Their stats told us that. Pick rates are on the right;
Twins is firmly in the bottom spot. Its not even close.
-
I was hoping to see this change too. Yet somehow Mettle of Man getting nerfed took priority. Lol.

Can't prople still just let go of the gen to deny DMS? and since there is no notification, the killer won't 100% go to the gen? I fail to ser how its stronger now when it has even more counterplay.
Yeah there's no information for the killer. So unless they make a lucky guess and physically go to the gen and force them off then you can just deny the DMS and keep working on it.

RPD

Huntress and Nurse.
-
The EU servers are infested with hackers the last few days.
-
Definitely a hacker. I had one the other day. A David. He was hacking his ass off and not being at all subtle about it.
-
Sure...
-
I've not been getting team mates with no perks, but the sweaty Nurses and Blights sounds right.
-
Nurse and Blight.
-
Its possibly the worst change they made this patch.

This.

No. If you're not enjoying a game then play something else.
-
This sounds like fun. I'll have to give it a try. I do love doing the mirror builds.
-
B of course.
-
It was just a big get out of jail free card. It deserved the nerf and is the best change to come out of this patch.
-
I had one too. A David. But he was a hacker. Teleporting around the map. Picking survivors back up the second they went down. Popping gens instantly etc.

He's not Trapper/Freddy bad, but he's in my bottom 5.
Of course there are some killers people think are awful but I have success with, so it's all relative.
And I disagree in that if it were some generic original character with Myer's kit, they wouldn't get nearly as much play, imo. He's imo also the easiest killer to immerse into (or roleplay, if that's your bag), which gives some added appeal.
But people don't play Myers for the consistent kills, because they're not there.
I main him. Have done for the last four years. I consistently do well with him. I know his strengths and weaknesses. He absolutely needs some buffs but he is far from the worst in my opinion.
Nobody likes consistently losing with a weak or boring killer regardless of who they are. Again I point to Freddy for that as being a good example. That's not enough to bring people back consistently unless you like frustrating games.
Mikey has consistently always had a good pick rate and kill rate. Always in the top half of performance. So the Mikey players out there are not struggling that much. I know I certainly don't. I know other Mikey mains out there who don't. I just don't see some of the weaknesses others see in him. Not from personal experience and not from watching other Mikey players.
Again I do think he needs buffs and I hope he gets them soon. I also want a Halloween tome. That would be great.

Yeah, I once had a cocky streamer (complete with Twitch shirt cosmetic) come out of the gate clicking and trying to draw aggro, their team fed me quick, caught them in the middle of shack within the first couple minutes and murdered them.
Soooo gratifying. Cheap, but gratifying.
Morale of the story: Myers is weak, but make sure he doesn't have the tp before you BM.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3096404#Comment_3096404
A lot of people play him because he's Michael f'n Myers. But he's super weak.
He really should be buffed to reflect his horror stature.
I disagree on both points. Iconic status doesn't keep people constantly playing someone. If it did the likes of Freddy and Ash would be way more popular. They're just as iconic in the horror genre as Michael.
Mikey needs buffs for sure (but then so does most killers), but he's nowhere near as bad as some claim.
-
Solo in general has gone to hell. I mean a worse hell than what it was before.

You're probably right about the pickrate. Not a reality I've encountered but @Dwight_Fairfield was just talking about that. Thats true tho, infinite Myers is pretty frequent.
That is correct. According to Bhvr's stats. The last one they showed were for December to January. The kill rates are on the left, the pick rates on the right. As you can see Mikey is one of the more popular played killers.

I play since 2017 and I've been honored to die like this versus Myers only 1 time.
Come on, nobody plays this guy, give him a break. He's the pure form of evil after all.
Myers has an excellent pick rate. Lots of people play him. Myself included.
-
I only need one; Dweet.
-
Of course I'll be back. If you didn't close I'd never leave.
-
Solo queue has never been a bed of roses, in fact many would say its always been the worst role in the game. But my goodness did this new patch amp that up ten fold. Yikes. If there is a hell on earth then solo queue is it.
-
Noed's totem does get revealed now at the end. Survivors can see the aura from like 24 meters or something.
