Monitor and Abuse on Mikey. The number of downs I have gotten from sneaking up on them with my 99'ed tier 3 is just.....chef's kiss.

I don't think he should be Blight-lite. His power is EXTREMELY oppressive at all loops.
He's also extremely difficult to see and I often find myself straining to see him. Likewise, at a lot of loops, it feels less like I'm being outplayed and more like I genuinely can't see him, like old Spirit.
I like pretty much everything else.
I agree with this.
-
General rule is if a survivor deliberately wants your attention do not give it to them. They want to be chased because they're either very competent loopers or they're trying to distract you away from something.
Either way ignore them.
-
Dwight just resonated with me. He's nerdy and shy, something I can relate to. He's a bit of an underdog who found his inner strength when he entered the fog and actually rose up to leadership status among the survivors.
He also has a very realistic disposition. He's nervous. Any normal person thrust into this scary world full of terrifying killers hunting you down would be exactly the same. You'd be scared.
He's got some fantastic cosmetics. I love his voice. Plus his perks are all themed to help his team mates which is my type of play style. I run perks that support my team rather than myself. Bond is my all time favorite survivor perk.
-
Dweet of course.

I have P100 in one survivor but I have been playing with other survivors that are P3, 4 or 5
Does it make any difference?
I guess for you, what you don't see you don't feel it
Ignorance is bliss. That's why they need to hide the prestiges. They can play the game in blissful ignorance.
-
I will echo the sentiment already shared that they tend to be sluggers so they don't have a fun reputation.
Honestly it's not even the killer's fault really. Their power does encourage the play style. Let's hope their rework is more fun for both sides.

Has anyone P100 me yet?
Yes I know a streamer on the U.K. servers who's a P100 single Larry. He is really good too.

When is this magical thinking of solving complex problems with a simple "solution" mentality going to stop being so prevalent?
Okay, lets say that prestige gets hidden from tomorrow. What do you think is going to happen? Killers will just shrug and play like everyone had zero prestige levels? Of course not! They will look at items, names, clothing etc.
And even if BVHR decides to just skip the pregame lobby altogether, killers will look at their first chase, think to themselves that this Nea is a juicer and that it's probably a P100 4 men SWF and just AFK against a wall or DC.
If you think that lobby shopping is boring just wait until you hold M1 for 15 minutes while the killer is watching paint dry.
Unless the awful matchmaking is overhauled (spoiler alert: it won't be) nothing will change.
They're already doing that anyway so what's it matter. Any killer player who judges a match based on items or clothing is silly. Even new players have access to toolboxes, med kits, and flashlights.
If they think a player is P100 and in a swf just because they're good at looping and decide to give up, then even more deserved for being so foolish. If they want to spend all that time lobby shopping for survivors in base clothing and little to no items then let them. They're doing it anyway dodging high prestige survivors or survivors in certain cosmetics or carrying certain items. So its not going to make any difference to that type of player.
They're not here to just play the game, they want games under their own specific conditions.
-
A 10 for me would always be a Mikey. Bias there on my part too but any dedicated Mikey mains deserve my respect.
I'd also give 10 to anyone who has P100 on killers like Trapper, Clown, Freddy, Pig......killers who are seen on the lower end of the strength spectrum but they're playing their main for fun not for strength. Like me. Oni and Huntress players are also 10's. Big brain skill with those shots and flicks.
As for 1's that's Nurses, Blights, Pinheads etc killers I don't like to face or play.
-
Same.
-
Just implement it. You don't need any more tests.

A lot of survivor specific things in that list. How about old mori's, OG Billy, OG Nurse, old ruin to name a few. My answer would be absolutely as the game used to fun years ago and dare I say less toxic. My guess is because the game had so many broken things people took it less seriously and actually embraced it.
Old mori's? You want to be able to get mori'ed after one hook? That was fun times being tunneled off first hook for the mori. OG Billy is the only thing you mentioned there that is worth having back and honestly its moot as we just got Billy back in great form.
Nobody embraced those broken things. People asked for years for them to be changed.
-
Do you want old DS, old insta heals and med kits, old BNPs, old dead hard, the old perk grinding system etc back again?
-
Never played the games so this one is lost on me. His perks are pretty doo doo as well.
-
Halloween is top of the pile in my opinion in terms of impact. Getting that license was huge and helped put Dbd on the map. It certainly brought Dbd to my attention when I heard Michael Myers and Laurie Strode were in a video game as playable characters.
I think Resident Evil and Stranger Things were also quite impactful.
-
The Billy changes and Blight add on nerfs are a huge W.
The three gen solution.......jury is still out. I need to see it in action to pass any judgement.
The change to STBFL is not bad at all. I honestly was expecting them to gut it but its still a decent perk.
-
I disagree about Michael being instinctive. The original Halloween spells out very clearly through Dr. Loomis that he's pure evil.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uprJsKihYUQMichael knows what he's doing. And he enjoys doing it. He toys with his victims like the scene with ghost sheet Myers, and he loves to display his victims too;
That's not someone operating on instinct.

If you read the lore and go by the definition of a war crime, he's not. Unintentional or collateral damage is not considered a war crime. This includes noncombatant deaths.
Sure we could still argue about what he did but then I wouldn't touch a lot of the killer roster (and some of the survivor roster too). If I was worried about their lore and things they have done.
Ok.
I don't like that he caused so much harm whether he goes by the text book definition of a war criminal or not.

i consider tombstone piece and Judith tombstone as nearly same add-on. both of them benefit from 99% EV2 so i think both require stalk management.
I don't. Piece is played completely differently to regular tombstone because you have limited time to use it and you need to pop tier 3 more than once. Regular tombstone takes much longer to get going. Any survivor with half a brain is going to expect it when Myers is taking his sweet time to pop a tier 3. Piece is much easier to pop, especially if you run J Myers memorial with it.
Piece can also give Mikey another advantage like if you're running Monitor and you have piece 99'ed its practically a guaranteed tombstone if you can surprise someone with the small terror radius.

i don't think i have ever ran out of stalk playing regular Michael Myer's so I somewhat agree with him being easiest killer to master/play. his stalk management only comes into with tombstone and i do not think it is much of a skill-ceiling.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3622943#Comment_3622943
he has difficult skillshot to land and a 4vs1 element to activate his game-delay. He is unrewarding to play because his anti-loop doesn't work but his actual mechanical skill-ceiling is there.
My top 5 killer in skill-cieling would be Wesker #1, Nurse #2, Blight #3, Pinhead #4, Twins #5.
There's no stalk management with tombstone. You basically want to drain every survivor you lay eyes on. With piece there is management.

As someone who mains Jonah, what is it about him you don't like? Just curious.
He's a war criminal.
-
Honestly unless I have a daily or tome challenge I am only ever playing Dwight on survivor. Same scenario for killer I am usually only playing Mikey.
But if there's two characters I flat out don't like playing with every fiber of being even if its just for a challenge/daily its Skull Merchant and Jonah.
-
Legion and Wraith should be below Mikey in my opinion.
Mikey's power is simple but you need to know how to optimise it since he has a cap on it. Good Mikeys know when to stalk rather than chase, they know to 99 their tier 3, and the optimal times to pop it.
I see many Mikeys pop tier 3 prematurely when a survivor is guaranteed to make it to a safe window or pallet. They end up wasting it.
You also have to try to not max out stalk on all survivors for as long as possible. Save some on each one so you can always pop your 99'ed tier 3.
-
Yes I still run it. Killers never expect the 20 seconds of endurance. I have saved many team mates because of it.
-
Bragging rights.
-
I main Mikey, and this song always jumps to mind; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4smyA8rAgCo&t=81s
-
Games in general would be easier if team mates did gens.
-
G1 for my boy Mikey. Huntress is great too.
G6 and G7 have a lot of my least favorite killers in there.
-
I still run BT because killers never expect it. They will tunnel after someone wait out the ten seconds and then hit them. Same when its an end game rescue. They think they're done after ten seconds and hit them.
I've saved a lot of team mates thanks to those extra ten seconds.
-
Happy New Year everyone.
Be kind to the Dweets βΊοΈ
-
Happy New Year, everyone.
-
It would certainly help. Right now the 3 seconds is a joke. Even against basic M1 killers.
-
I am a PS5 gamer and haven't had this issue. It sounds like you got unlucky with the new controller. Even a brand new product can have a fault.
-
Skull Merchant
Pinhead
Knight
-
Probably because she's slow, she's not a chase killer. Chases are the most interactive part of the game. She sets up her web then waits for survivors to tread into it.
-
-
Holy cow seeing Clown pulling in Skull Merchant, Knight, and Trickster levels of hatred is wild. I knew he wasn't loved but my gosh I had no idea he was THAT disliked.
-
Merry Christmas everyone π ππββοΈ
-
They said him and Mikey are on their to do list for an update. But god knows when that will happen.
-
I was watching Zubat today and it happened to him in the middle of a match. Has not happened to me personally yet.
-
Skull Merchant never had any fun to be sucked out of her in the first place. She just went from one obnoxious version to another.
-
More: Billy, Demo
Less: Wesker, Chucky, Skull Merchant
-
Dwight - P100
Myers -P76
Laurie - P15
Jake - P12
Wraith - P10
-
Haddonfield. Huge Halloween fan.
-
Personally I see Zarina, Jane, and Laurie somewhat regularly. They're definitely not rare in my neck of the woods.
-
I do it every year. I am lucky Dweet has three Christmas outfits.
-
Hillbilly nerf
DS nerf (the latest one)
Onyro rework
-
Skull Merchant
Pinhead
Knight

They'll answer about 50 questions and only about three of them will actually be good informative questions.
