I was playing a few solo games today as survivor. I ended up in a lobby with two fully dark cosmetic Blendettes. One of them burned a thick mist offering, the other burned a MacMillan estate offering. I'm guessing they were SWF. So they were practically invisible under these conditions.
The killer was a Legion. At one point I got downed and hooked. One of the Blendettes rescued me. The Legion came running back to my hook, tunneled me and downed me again. Same thing happened after I was rescued again.
A few minutes later I get a message from the Legion player apologizing to me for the tunneling as he had no intention of going back to the hook to tunnel, but to get my savior as they had make your choice on. But since he could not spot my saviors either time because they basically were camouflaged (even I don't know where they went as they just urban evasioned away after saving me), I was the only visible one in sight running for my life, well what else was he to do. Pretend he didn't see me? I appreciated the apology, and understood his plight.
At the same time I don't blame the Claudette players for not being spotted. But it sucks when that happens because the Claudettes just vanish and you are the only target in sight. Kind of makes me not want to be in lobbies with Blendettes when that kind of thing happens.
Of course playing killer its frustrating as hell to have a survivor just vanish like that. Only times that rarely works on me is when I'm doing spooky Myers and I spot their auras. Or with Clown, I'll just start throwing gas bottles around where I last saw them. Or Doc, just zap that madness.
-
I'm glad to see that opening post got nothing but dislikes. The idea of nerfing Michael just because you see a lot of him is beyond ridiculous.
-
Can someone explain me to what is so terrible about choosing a map that benefits one of your perks? I don't see the problem when killers do it either.
For example, do we crucify Myers players for using Lery's offerings when they want to do spooky Myers?
-
Not at all.
-
You only get the trophy if you were one of the survivors who escaped through the hatch.
-
Dwight of course.
Whoa ho ho!!!!
-
I must have gotten lucky because this is one of the first achievements I ever got back in 2017.
-
Remove Michael's awesome Halloween chase music? Hell no.
-
Self care is good. There. Do I win a prize?
-
There isn't much to counter against a competent Clown who's good with the toxin bottles. Best chance is to try and avoid the gas clouds, and hope to find a good looping spot. Even then you're not guaranteed safety.
I mean Clown is the anti-looping killer. He's designed to cut chases short. So your only hope is to try and avoid the gas clouds. Which as I said is not easy if you're facing a competent Clown.
-
If a killer wastes that much time chasing one person, then its their failure. When I play killer I know when to break off a chase if its taking too long. You have to keep the map pressure on as much as you can.
-
Put Nea up to the good tier because urban evasion and balanced landing are very solid. The rest I agree with.
-
Bond is a great perk. I highly recommend it.
-
Clown's strength is being an anti-looping killer. Unfortunately he lacks map pressure. But saying that I still have a lot of fun playing Clown.
-
I occassionally hear Ash talking when ever I go to the main menu of the game, even though I am using Dwight not Ash.
-
Trapper, because I am always paranoid about where I am walking. Especially on maps with long grass.
Wraith, because they have a tendency to just go invisible and camp the hook.
Pig, because they have a tendency to camp in their crouch mode, and tunnel even when you have a trap on your head.
-
It would be disappointing that for the 3 year anniversary its just a solo killer release rather than a full on chapter.
-
Pennywise the dancing Clown.

@TheShape78 Exactly, the part I loved most about his character was how we didn't always see him kill extremely violently (with obvious malice I mean like that nurse in the rob zombie remakes that was excessive), he planned, he placed things/bodies in ways to get it all to come together in the end. I loved the second movie in that we never saw Michael kill absolutely everyone in the hospital or slash the tires on the cars but that scene of the silent halls and the entire hospital being empty we know he's been at work, working his way to the final attack on Laurie. I loved how different this was to other slashers, he showed thought and planning, a dedication to the craft. They lost all of this in the 2018 version imo.
We never saw him repeatedly stabbing violently in the originals, he was too present in the recent and his kills meant nothing, they were all random/thoughtless. He was always a work in the background killer working his way to the epic confrontation with Laurie, instead we got what I like to call "Jason Myers" where it's all violent kills and not a brain cell or moment of planning in sight sadly.
They did okay with Laurie but as far as I'm concerned the new movie took away a lot of Michael's character. (James was great and it's cute to see him work with Nick, it was just like they ignored Michael's "style"/character and it became a little more like a traditional generic slasher killer)
@Kiskashi Huh? We saw Michael strangle two teenage girls for a long extended period in the original. Then slashed the throat of one. He pinned a guy to a wall using his butcher knife. The violence was there. Same in Halloween II. One of the most gruesome murders in the franchise is in that one with the nurse being slowly drowned in the scalding water hot tub. Skin peeling off her face and everything.
You can't criticize the 2018 movie for doing something that was always there. In fact the 2018 Michael brought back something the sequels lost. Michael displaying his victims' bodies in some grotesque way. Plus they brought back the random force of evil nature of Michael. This is not someone who was obsessed with killing his family. This is Michael who everyone is in danger from. Reminds me of the dialogue between Loomis and Brackett in the original;
Loomis: "Death has come to your little town, Sheriff. You can either ignore it, or you can help me to stop it"
Brackett: "Doctor, do you know what Haddonfield is? Families, children, all lined up in rows up and down these streets. You're telling me they're lined up for a slaughter house"
That's what we got in H'18. It had some off screen kills, too, like the two Cops outside Laurie's house, and Vicki's boyfriend Dave.
-
I will be soooooo happy if we get some cosmetics for both Michael and Laurie from the 2018 movie. Even if that was all we got for the anniversary I would still be thrilled.
-
That was awesome. I loved Carpenter's score for the new movie.
-
I really hope we get some cosmetics for Michael and Laurie. That alone would make me very happy.

It's fun because he ensures you're killed. Ya know, doing killer things yo.
Its pretty sad if staring at a hook for most of the match is someone's idea of entertainment.
Never mind losing points and depipping, I can't think of a more boring way to play as killer.

It would have to be a skin in itself, and they don't have rights to the actors likeness so that's another issue also...
@FireHazard Oh yeah I know. I meant the skin itself. It looks cool.
-
You mean having to double pip for adept killer? Yeah it should go back to just having to kill all survivors.

We're talking about this one again, are we?🤔 It's almost as if I'm getting some weird
Yeah because this forum is infamous for originality. Never discuss the same topic more than once.
-
I'm a huge fan of Michael's aged gritty mask and would love it as a cosmetic. Its hands down the best mask he's had since the original.
Please Bhvr make it happen. If possible, can we also get older badass Laurie, too;
-
I think most of us want some cosmetics for Laurie and Michael.
-
Has not happened to me personally, but I've seen it happen to my friends.
-
You're playing Michael. You're already the creepiest killer in the game.
-
Definitely Michael Myers, especially when I do spooky Myers.
Runners up would be Wraith and Clown.
-
I agree. Apart from instadown with the chainsaw he has nothing else going for him. At least Freddy gets a free hit, and with the right add ons can make you go asleep faster and make it tougher to wake up.

Dwight!
He's just a huge nerd and a huge meme at this point.
He got rejected from literally everything and is now helping out everyone survive the entity. How can you not like him? He's so cute!
This. Dwight is the little engine that could. Beating the odds. The true definition of a survivor.
-
I still have lots of fun playing this game, on both killer and survivor side.
-
Pig because most Pig players tend to camp and tunnel even when you have a trap on your head.
Trapper for the paranoia of where you're walking, especially on maps with long grass.
Wraiths because they tend to be campers. Just go invisible and lurk around the hook.
-
Its deadly on Myers.
-
Michael Myers still holds the most scariest crown for me. He is creepy af.
-
Killers who played fair even when they lost their ruin early in the match, got looped and gen rushed, and toxic douches still teabag them at the exit gates.
I always send a gg message and apologize for the teabaggers.
-
Even Laurie from Halloween H20 would be great;
-
I agree. Go back to the good old fashioned kill them all.
-
Use Wake Up if you want a fast gate opening.
-
Just give us Michael's aged gritty mask, and older badass Laurie from the new Halloween movie;
That's all we need.

No chunky butts in bikinis in that game.

Well today, several matches I've been in where people just randomly dc'ed. They were not being chased or on the hook or anything. Just dc out of the blue. Then it happened to my friends and I where we just got kicked out in the middle of a match.
Happened to some killers, too. Killers who were doing well. We messaged them and they said they got booted. I'm on PS4. Anyone else been experiencing this today?
-
Its especially good if they were being toxic and you got the better of them.
-
Trapper and Wraith badly need a new mori.
