I've had some pretty frustrating games of late. It is harder to see people as killer it seems. I agree.
Survivor is much improved though.

It definitely doesn't look better than before. There's no denying that, but I'm getting 5-10 FPS more across the board which is very nice to have.
I've only played 5 or 6 games since the update. I'll dig some more.

I agree. It does seem a bit harder to see things as killer. As survivor I think it's very fine. Not much problem.
It might just be in your head though. I do about the same.

I hope it isn't staying like this either. It looks horrible... I'm done playing until the graphics and Matchmaking is fixed.
It doesn't look horrible. It's just not as good. I think it's fine. It works.

Huh. What kind of PS4 do you have? Because up until the recent patches, I had never frozen, but now I freeze all the time. I picked up a survivor off of a gen the other day and froze in place and had to d/c.
Just a regular one man. GOt it brand new about 3 years ago. I keep it clean and ventilated... I don't know man.

Yeah it's running nicely which is just awesome, but the resolution isn't too bad. Maybe they could get it to 900? I feel like the game is 720p now basically, but the menu and other things is 1080p still.

You guys all complain for the sake of complaining. Overall... this has been a strong update. Really sucks that Thanatophobia didn't go through,a nd the description is F'd... but overall I'm happy with it.

I've not frozen at all. Not in a long time. I've only frozen maybe 3-5 times in over a year of playing.
I've had no performance issues since 2.6. The engine update to 4.21 was great. The game has never ran better for me.

Honestly? I'm pretty tired of hearing millennials flood chats and streams with "thicc" over and over again.
I think she looks good. The term "thicc" is a made up new generation term that doesn't really mean anything.
If you clowns mean "thick" then that makes more sense. But she's just bigger. It isn't a big deal.

They need to shelf like all progressive work on stuff, and focus on what they have for like 2 weeks...
Then return. I feel like they are going at a pace where it's sloppy or something?

I think it might be okay, IF THE aura of the healer and user is like 10 seconds or something.

Might of been a mistake. I paid 0 dollars for the killer. And I might give 5 bucks for the survivor later, or just save up shards. I don't know yet honestly.
I'm overall satisfied with the update and patch, but Thanatophobia not going through was weak as F. I'm behind this company still, and still grateful, but man they really need to get things a bit straighter.

Just to be clear. PS4 Pro is basically a PS4 with 10% more processing power.
That's it people. It can play games in 4k... IF YOU HAVE A 4k TV.
I don't. I have a Vizio 1080p tv that does perfectly fine. I didn't want 10% more power... I'll keep my current ps4 as it is.
Anyways... just wanted to clear that up as there's not much difference...

I would be alright with that if they left 1 totem on the map, it becomes a permanent/don't stand at the gate like a moron/push out perk at the very least.
I know this would be very very strong. Having NOED that couldn't be broken after it starts. But like Orion said. It would force survivors to break 5 totems at 14 seconds each...
Not a big deal. I still think it's fine the way it is.

She is high mid tier. Overall. I'm talking at Rank 1 play.
At green/yellow and brown ranks she's high tier. Most killers are at mid-low ranks.
Rank 1. She's mid tier for sure. Mid high I think.
Nurse, Spirit, Billy
Then she's in the Hag/Plague/Myers/Doctor etc lists....

I know it lol. I'm normally not all that great in chases. I'm alright, but I had a great chase against a Billy. It was long. It was maybe 3 minutes at least. No joke. Maybe 4 minutes. I'm not sure. Only 1 gen got done the entire time, and he was on me the entire time. I used up like 5 pallets of course, but I was thinking at least 3 gens would of popped in that time. Only 1 did at the end.
What were they doing? lol I was the 1st chase.

Nah. I wouldn't mind this change trust me... but NOED is very fair the way it is. People that call for NOED nerfs are insane, and non-objective thinking.

The aura intensity has been messed with now. And it's like 720 native or something?
It runs better though.
Lots of demanding games run at 30 fps lock or higher.. so that is irrelevant @Master

Having weak killers kills Variety, All killers should be at the same level Imo, It'd make the game a lot more exciting for everyone.
She's lethal in green to brown ranks... strong in purple ranks and fair at red ranks... like most killers.

The graphics took a hit of 10-15% at least. Probably around 15%. They are like 720p basically or something. It still looks good, just not as sharp and crisp.
The game runs better, and the framerate is definitely 30fps now mostly. I don't get 15-20 fps drops anymore. It's the best framerate PS4 has ever had. No question.

It has some counterplay. Once you hit them for a 5th time... and they are downed... you see 2 auras for x time afterwards.

Army of Darkness was more of a spoof movie... and anything from that movie wouldn't quite fit in the DbD theme. Ash is great, but it needs to be a stand alone survivor thing.

They should just release him as a stand alone survivor. I don't think any killer from that lore would be good for the game.

Yeah I get it. I'd rather have pretty stuff that runs at 40 than blurry stuff running at 60.
I'm okay with the changes. The game still looks good. It's just a hard change to accept at first.

It isn't like the PS4 is a trash system. I mean lots of high end games play great on it. Uncharted 4 looks great and is smooth. I know that's a AAA company and game.
So it's not like it's an obsolete horrible system.
The graphics took at least a 10-15% hit. Which I guess is okay if the frames go up. I already miss the way the game looked before.

Just played a match as survivor. The character models are definitely scaled back some. I guess I'll get used to it. It's not that big of a deal, but overall the graphics aren't as nice.
The game ran a bit smoother for sure. 2-5 frames smoother. It's hard to say.
The Doctor looks kinda meh really. I don't know. Was it just the models? Or the maps too?
It's like a 20% quality sharpness scale back.

I'm on PS4. Just got the update downloaded. They 100% are more blurry and less crisp. No doubt about it. On the menu at least.
I'll post what they look like in game in a bit. Kinda disappointed. I'm talking about the models of characters. The doctor looked kinda bad.

I love the game and the Devs, but I've been disappointed in a Freddy rework (just buff what he is already)
and the leaderboards... ranked rewards. No stats.

No one cares. This is a stupid topic. LGBT is made up community for people that made their own personal choice.
I have nothing against these type of people. Gay people love horror movies... and some gay people hate horror movies.
Some Christians do not believe in watching graphic material, and some do. It doesn't matter.
Imagine if I asked why Christians don't play horror games... that would be a juicy topic. NO one cares.
No one cares about LGBT people playing this game either.

NOED is fine.
Cleanse totems. Simple. it has counterplay. It isn't active the entire match lol.

It could work. Just couldn't use "hooks". He could have a spectate view... where he could take over any doll that is sitting around the map.
Think yellow toy boxes and he can switch views and lash out when he wants..
He would either "drag" people to a chained area, and people would have to unchain them... like hooks, but he's knocking them out and chaining them.
Unhooks become unchaining, and all the mechanics work... you just "unchain" yourself with perks etc...
It would be tricky, but it would somewhat give us a new game mode and freshen things up and I would BUY ANYTHING they could release under Chucky. I love it. I'm sure Don Mancini would be on board.

This post isn't that accurate.
Each spring, around this time there's been a dip. So that isn't a big deal. Also what the OP fails to mention is that the last 3 days have had increases in player peaks consecutively. That isn't as juicy of a comment I guess?
It's easier to drag something down that to state the entire facts I guess? With the new chapter coming tomorrow presumably... this is why. Today has been a slight downturn because it's Monday of course.
Overall. There's no worry about this game yet...
I would love to see Ranked Rewards, Devotion Rewards and in game collectibles to give the game depth... and stats too...
Still waiting. I think things are just fine. As long as they never dip below 10,000 players on PC, everything is fine. I wish I knew the numbers for consoles.

If you pip... AND get a 4k, or a 3k with a hatch escape... then you win as killer.
And they all lose.
If you don't pip... then they all won.

Thana should of been kept. It's not like we can load up with 10 perks at once...
Ruin is almost needed at high ranks. Thana could of replaced that.
Maybe the Thana, Sloppy, Ruin, Nurses would of been ruthless? lol

They are giving more use to Enduring. That's great. DS has been killed.
It got so many trash survivors off the "hook" lol for so long.

I wouldn't mind a new game mode for sure. What they need is a hide and seed collectible mode or something. Where hooks really aren't the objective? I don't know.
I know they don't want to split their fragile player base, and that's a good thing, but a fresh game mode might be cool.
2v8 could be fun for sure... if it's done right. It could be a mess. I would love lore based collectibles in the game that you have to find... and you get rewarded shards for finding them.
And items that can only be bought with shards as well. THe devotion and shards format is being wasted.
