so a worse Doctor?
-
Bubba isn't overpowered, but he is very poorly designed. Because when you group up with three other survivors in a small confined area he can punish you, and isn't that just the worst game design I've ever seen
-
Glad you made the edit to clarify that you actually mean jonsey from Fortnite from Roblox, because Roblox is in fact a horror game that deserves representation in Dead By Daylight.
-
Do you have a picture you can provide?

slugging is a no no per the survivor's rulebook for killers
I can't argue with the rulebook

Survivors complain about NOED because it snowballs a game when all gens are done and all they have to do is cleanse totems during the match. Instadown/moris with gens left severely breaks those survivors spirit. 😂
I like how people complain about Myers and not Haunted Grounds
-
Honestly going against t3 Myers is extremely fun for me. It's one of the few things that can actually get my blood pumping when I play as survivor.
-
@bm33 said:
Is it T3 that lasts forever or moris healthy survivors? If so the survivors probably have bad experiences, probably figure they don't have a chance so why bother and decide to get killed so they can just move on to next match.
Kinda dumb of them to do that considering they most likely only have a couple of gens left and they're playing against an m1 killer.
-
Hey Hey Hey there now, on some killers slugging is necessary. Say they are a Bubba, Oni, or Myers main. Then he'd pretty much have to slug! (unless he's a Bubba main, then only sometimes) Keep that in mind.

For me, Pyramid heads. I have only gotten one game where the triangle boi didn't camp
It makes no sense, plus they're giving my favorite boi an even worse rep.
Also, I get facecamped exclusively by Hillbillys.

thanks
what was I saying again
-
That is an excellent question
-
Alright, where did I put the neuralyzer?
-
Billy, because EVERY Billy player I have ever encountered hits me on hook and camps.

It took you THAT long?

I despise disturbed ward. I didn't pay 30 bucks to kick wood all game.

and how can i do that?I approach a gen, there are 2 people...
when i chase 1of them that runs away from it, the other keeps working on it... how can i manage to pressure that gen now? Is that a perk or a skill to learn?
If one runs away from the gen and one stays on it, go for the one that stays on it. Hit them and chase the other, land a hit if you can, then go back to the gen. The other survivor will either be healing or a free down.
If they both stay on the gen just hit both of them until they get off the gen (the easy way or the hard way)
If they both run at the same time, chase one and return to the gen.
If this sounds complicated, don't worry. It's a lot more simple in practice. Also keep in mind that it's probably best to slug in these situations.

You can make and eat a sandwich before the DS timer is up (I know because I've done it) so just because DS is used doesn't mean the killer is tunneling.
-
but why?
Also, pressuring gens is keeping survivors off gens. Please take off Hex Ruin, then you'll see what I mean.
-
@bkn said:
What does" pressure gen" even mean? its just another BS "term" that doesnt exist at all...
'scuse me, did I just hear you say tunneling isn't a thing?
Edit: You edited your comment quickly wow
-
"Why do you loop if you keep getting caught? Just do gens."
-
People only say DS is overpowered because it's abused by extremely good players- y'know, the ones that can hit skill checks blindfolded. I'm personally okay with this change though, because it will help newer players while not impacting high level play at all.
-
DW timer could be cut to 5 seconds and it wouldn't make a difference because survivors can run

It's high risk but what's the reward? Boldness bloodpoints? There isn't one. And I did mention that camping means to rush gens but just because it makes the killer lose, doesn't make it magically ok or good for the game in any way. I can't think of a single good reason for the basement to still exist other than it being Trapper's way to win a match.
If I came off as saying camping is ok, that isn't what I meant.
Also, boldness bloodpoints are like the best reward, you might be able to get a full brown medkit after the match and that's just amazing!
-
@ALostPuppy said:
The basement is a terrible and outdated mechanic that only encourages proxy camping and basically confirms a survivor dies against some killers (Twins, Hag, Trapper, Huntress, Leatherface). Usually if Huntress or Leatherface are camping the basement there is no point whatsoever in going for a save, that survivor might as well be dead. Hag can do it without even being near the basement because lmao cool power design. And if it's a Trapper, 80% of the time that's his only win condition, and once someone's in the basement against Trapper you rush gens and get out or everyone's going in the basement and not getting back out. It's more evidence that Trapper needs some serious buffs.
So yeah the basement is dumb. The best thing they could do is to change it to a row of 4 unsabo-able hooks along the shack wall, opposite the window so it doesn't get in the way of killer powers.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the point of the basement to be a deathtrap? Isn't it supposed to be a high risk high reward play to go down there? I agree that in general the basement is way easier to camp (especially if the killer has Insidious). but all the killers you mentioned (except Trapper and Huntress) pretty much guarantee a kill by camping anyways. And just like camping in any other area would do, the killer loses so much map pressure when they face camp or proxy camp a basement hook, which is practically giving survivors gens.

Windows will destroy him. If no windows are available, fear not! There are other solutions.
- Stand and face the Bubba directly. Never run away from or approach him. Make yourself look as big as possible by spreading your arms or, better yet, a coat. Make as much noise as possible by yelling, banging pots and pans or using other noisemaking devices.
- If the Bubba is stationary, move away slowly and sideways; this allows you to keep an eye on the Bubba and avoid tripping. Moving sideways is also non-threatening to Bubbas. Do NOT run, but if the Bubba follows, stop and hold your ground. Bubba can chainsaw as fast as a racehorse both uphill and down.
- If the Bubba attempts to attack, play dead by laying flat on your stomach with your hands behind your neck and legs spread. The Bubba will lose interest.
-
As a killer, I prepare a turkey sandwich before every match
Y'know, just in case.

Hex: No One Escapes the Thrill of the Haunted Retribution Devour Undying Third Ruin
When the exit gates are powered, a dull totem will become a hex totem and two remaining dull totems (if available) will become trapped totem. The auras of all survivors are revealed to you. All survivors get the exposed and blindness status effects. You can kill survivors who are in the dying state. You gain a 7% speed boost that goes down to 3% after 10 seconds.
Survivors that cleanse a trapped totem get the dead status effect.
When a survivor cleanses the hex totem, a random dull totem becomes a hex totem. You will receive 100% more bloodpoints in all categories once the match ends if this happens.
Any exit gates not being opened will have their opening progress reduced by 30%/50%/100% per second.
-
It doesn't work unless the killer is very bad or the survivors are very good, otherwise it usually will result in the survivor getting downed, hooked, disconnecting, opening a new tab, logging in to the forums, and making a post about why they think killers are overpowered.
-
if the survivors are healthy you have a massive disadvantage
If the survivors know how to play injured, you have a massive disadvantage.
-
I mained GF up until I went against good survivors

Since dbd has such a long grind, BBQ isn't a crutch, it's downright necessary.

For something to be overpowered it has to be able to be used to its full effect in any situation imo.
Ruin and Undying doesn't fit the bill. It can only be used to its full effect when the killer is good at keeping survivors off gens, and this means it's not too strong. Plus it really depends on the survivors how long the combo is in play.

Undying+Ruin = easy 4k
pay to win Freddy+tinkerer= easy 4k
spirit = 4k if you are more than 5 years old and have 2 braincells
bad killer + noed = easy 2/3k
camper against solos = easy 4k
tunnelers against solos = 4k
3k + slugging for the 4k = 4k
killers don’t need to find survs, they have dozens of perks, hitting survs is easier with new killers, map reworks are so killer sided, totems are more difficult to find.
I have more than 3.000 hours and this game is so killer sided I can’t imagine why surv play as solos
- Do bones
- Pay to win?
- Not if you don't have a headset.
- Just be careful and do bones.
- Only if your teammates don't know what they are doing.
- If your teammate is getting tunneled, do gens. If it's you, go away from uncompleted gens and waste as much time as you can.
- No sh*t sherlock

Hey guys don't tell them that survivors can loop the killer

Take out bubba and legion. Also ask yourself why survivors dont want to go against them. All of those killers effectively cancel chases which is fun and the only other option to gen sim.
It's a better idea to tweak those killers, not to give survivors the option to never play against them
-
Equip Spine Chill and break line of sight. Loop him as much as you can, he is powerless when it comes to looping.
Remember, Myers shines when capitalizing on survivor's mistakes. So think before you act.
-
This should be a Dwight Fairfield teachable perk
-
It means they are the killer's obsession. This could be because of your perks (STBFL or PWYF for example). But if you didn't bring obsession perks, it means they may have OoO or DS.
-
That sounds fun however I'd like a build that I can use more than once a match
