Right, the thing is on PC I can both strafe and turn simultaneously, it's way more effective.

Yeah, I tried out the mobile version last month while I was out of town and all the features you mentioned are great. 🙂 The only thing I didn't like about mobile is the controls are super awkward, at least for killer. You move with your left thumb, pan the camera with your right thumb, but also need to use your right thumb to do attacks and use abilities. So when I play Doctor for instance it means I have a choice between turning and using Shock. I can't turn simultaneously while I use Shock, it's kind of frustrating. I had SO many chases where I knew 100% I would have downed a survivor really quickly on PC but couldn't do jack on mobile.
So kudos to the people who have the patience to stick it out as killer with those controls, I'm just not one of them, which is a bummer because the mobile version is otherwise pretty great.
yeah, you need to get used to strafing instead of panning the camera as you lunge and move in general.

More things mobile has that PC and Console don't:
-Mobile gives you auric cells for prestiging
-There's a little queue status thing that tells you how killer and survivor queues are doing. Sadly, it's not too accurate.
-Bloodhunts which give double bloodpoints and character xp on certain killers and survivors (mobile uses a system where you unlock perks for killers by playing them and getting XP) that happen pretty consistently
-Reward calendars that can give you add ons, offerings, auric cells, bloodpoints, and iridescent shards that happen weekly

No, and at this point, it is out of spite.
Really, FNAF-Fans are so annoying. I remember the Hellraiser-Chapter, all clues went to Hellraiser and yet, even when the teaser Trailer dropped which was crystal clear, some people still thought that Springtrap might be the next Killer.
And now players are asking for Springtrap being the annivesary Chapter, despite it being months away. And if we would not know that the next Chapter will be Ringu, they would speculate if the next Chapter will be FNAF.
I dont have anything against the game (just that it has too many parts, at some points, the concept becomes dull), but the Fanbase really is something else with their wish of having Sprintrap in DBD.
But in general, I think a mechanical Killer is still missing in the game. A full robot or an Android.
The community is bad for wanting a killer from a franchise they like in Dbd?
I'm not trying to go after you, I'm just having trouble understanding what your point is.

Lmao if I gotta be honest, if I had to redo the grind over again I'd straight up quit and never play again. XD
I have too many killers p3 all perks (like half) and too many p3 lvl 50 (only like 6 or so remaining) that's not even counting the 4 survs I have p3 all perks...and every teachable on both side.
God forbid if I somehow lost everything or had to redo it all. I'd be like "welp ig I beat dbd" and move on to other games while maybe watching every now and then when others play
I've already lost it all before, and I also completed the grind on mobile (although that was much less severe)

If PC is more accessible to you, I would do it especially if you haven't completed the grind. I thought I'd make the switch, but all my friends are on console, everyone is P3/50 and I love my Xbox (easy party, easy reports, easy clips)
My cons for PC need discord, I suck with mouse and keyboard, fresh start, smaller screen, not enough room (I don't really have a PC set up) also don't care for the chat feature although easy to ignore I'm just not a fan. I like my silence
None of my friends play dbd, so I play killer almost exclusively and the having to use discord won't matter too much luckily

Nah, I think you do need to put in some thought when you use Spirit, especially after the nerf.

It depends on your perks too for that playstyle. I usually run hooks of resonance, corrupt, plaything and devour. I can usually get quite a bit of devour value, even Mori 1-2 before they can find it. And the scourge hooks lets me keep pressure without having to kick gens. Between that, corrupt, and the chain hunts you can really slow the game down.
As far as the box goes, it's about learning it's initial spawn in relation to your spawn. This is difficult if you don't have lethal pursuer, which I don't have it on him yet. Other than the initial spawn, it's just about keeping pressure, and if they're close when they pick up the box, it might be worth it to drop chase and go down the one with the box. Sometimes you just have to let them solve it if it's too far. But usually I get anywhere between 3-6 chain hunts a match.
Between the box, plaything, my constant pressure, and them trying to do gens all at the same time, it's a lot for them to try and juggle. Then you add in devour and it becomes a nightmare for them.
If you have trouble finding the box, and or getting quick downs on the people with the box, maybe try a build like this.
Lethal, franklin's, bbq, and corrupt or pop.
Lethal to find it initial, franklin's to make them drop it so you can pick it up without having to down them, corrupt or pop for slowdown, and bbq for the aura reading. Sometimes you can see people running for the box after hooking someone, giving you free knowledge of the box.
My build right now is Plaything, Corrupt, BBQ, and Lethal.
I was thinking switching BBQ for Devour Hope or for Ruin. (Also, I haven't bought Artist and I don't really plan to anytime soon so I do not have Pain Resonance yet)

I want survivors to be able to say, "This killer sure beat us bad and made us look like babies, but damn is he fresh"

@Advorsus said:
Possessed chains are trash. I mainly only play him as an m1 killer and play around the box, which is his best ability by far. I only use his possessed chain for two reasons.
1. To instant fire it as said above. I only do this if I'm close enough to hit them almost immediately, and spawn the gateway as close to them as possible and then fire it quickly. This is just to stop them at certain loops.
2. Someone picks up the box and I'm too far to m1 them to stop them, I'll just shoot a chain to get them to stop. Gives me time to catch up.
Also, little tip, I almost never teleport. The only instance where I'll teleport is if say I downed someone and they picked up the box and started working on it as soon as I went to hook them. Then I'll hook them as fast as possible and teleport. It applies a lot of pressure as you'll have one hooked, one in chase, and one forced to go get the save.
that's really how I play too, but it's not really effective. What strategies do you use for finding the box/keeping it from survivors?

Thanks to all of your your helpful input, I've decided to main Pinhead.

Well I used the wrong word.. faster recovery, not instant.. yeah instant would be overpowered, but a slightly faster recovery would be good.
Base recovery is like 3 or 4 seconds? half a second faster recovery for each person in deep wound would be somewhat good. 4 seconds if you manage to hit no one, and shave 2 seconds off of that if you manage to hit all 4. (I'm saying half a second because it's easy to calculate, but you get the idea)
yes, base is 4 seconds.
I think it should be changed to 3, and then to 2.5 if you hit all 4 survivors.

Faster recovery from coming out of Frenzy the more people are in deep wound at any given time would be a good reward. If you go for 4 hits, and pull it off, you deserve a near instant recovery, vs only stabbing one person and getting out of frenzy right away, then you'll get full recovery.
I think Instant recovery would be abusable, however I completely agree that the fatigue should be reduced for doing well in frenzy.

@GrimReaperJr1232 said:
"Reduce Frenzy Fatigue to 2s, but increase it by 0.25s for every survivor Slashed, up to 3s."
This is ridiculous. Legion is in concept, according to the devs is "a high-speed killer capable of inflicting partial damage to multiple survivors." So WHY is his fatigue increasing for chaining hits? Ignoring that this goes against the concept, why is the killer being punished for playing well? If you got a 4-man chain, you DESERVE to be rewarded, not punished.
"Increase Frenzy movement speed to 5.6m/s and Frenzy Fatigue movement speed to 2.6m/s, but reduce both by 0.15m/s for every Slash, up to a maximum reduction of 0.6m/s."
Two things. One) Again, punished for playing well which is asinine. Two) It's a non-lethal power, he can move at 6m/s
"Change Never-Sleep Pills to show Pools of Blood and Scratch Marks during a Frenzy."
Just make it base. Removing the ability to see blood was asinine and a relic of when they were (rightfully) panic nerfing Legion.
"Buff the Blade add-ons to 20 and 40%."
Okay, this would be.... ugh. 40% means around 5-second and 20% is 2.5-seconds (unlike most add-ons, the blades give flat numbers so it's easy to do the math on). That's 19.5 seconds of mending. I would despise you on a personal level for using that, holy hell...
"Buff the Ruler add-ons to 10 and 20%."
Oooor just revert the nerfed recharge from 20 seconds back to 15 seconds. It made no sense to nerf it then, especially when the ability to Frenzy with a partial gauge was removed.
The problem
None of these addresses Legion's core issue. The problem with Legion is that while he is the best killer in the game in terms of injuring survivors, he has nothing afterward. He is an M1 killer with no power. It's not like he gets bonuses for injuring survivors like an extended lunge or increased action speed like Myers, nor does he build up tokens for some super Mayhem mode or something. He's just an M1 killer whose most redeeming factor is that he's short, (ideally) always chases injured survivors), and can have good map awareness with Killer Instinct.
So while I appreciate the clear effort you put into this post, I vehemently disagree with the direction you went with in regards to Legion.
ooh, an extended lunge or other reward like that for having survivors injured is an original idea, and not one I disagree with.
-
Buff Iridescent Button to also increase Vaulting speed (Pallets and Windows) by 15%, even when not in Frenzy.
Iri button is Legion's strongest addon in my opinion, I don't think it needs this change. Instead, just run Bamboozle.

@Tekno_Badger said:
Currently, Legion is a mending simulator with no real means of downing someone, and an ungodly Frenzy Fatigue. The fact that he is so boring to go against yet still a very weak killer needs to be fixed.
To start, let's incentivize them to Slash only 1 or 2 survivors instead of constantly chasing all 4 to make them Mend all over again:
- Reduce Frenzy Fatigue to 2s, but increase it by 0.25s for every survivor Slashed, up to 3s.
- Increase Frenzy movement speed to 5.6m/s and Frenzy Fatigue movement speed to 2.6m/s, but reduce both by 0.15m/s for every Slash, up to a maximum reduction of 0.6m/s.
These changes will make them stronger in the 1v1 chase should they choose to focus on 1 or 2 survivors in a Frenzy, as the reduced cooldown and increased movement will help with catch-up and bodyblocking. The movement speed also helps with larger maps and spread out survivors, which Legion struggles immensely with. While it is still possible for them to spread pressure out amongst all 4 survivors, it comes with drawbacks now.
Now, let's give them a couple of straight-up buffs that they need:
- Do not reduce Frenzy charges when hitting a survivor with a Basic Attack.
- Reveal survivors even if they are Oblivious.
These changes will solidify their basekit, so now for their add-ons:
- Change Frenzy fatigue add-ons to reduce Frenzy fatigue by 10, 15, and 20%.
- Change the Frenzy duration add-ons to 10, 20 and 30%.
- Buff the Ruler add-ons to 10 and 20%.
- Buff the Blade add-ons to 20 and 40%.
- Change Susie's Mix Tape to increase movement speed by 0.3m/s during Frenzy.
- Change Frank’s Mix Tape to increase movement speed by 0.6m/s during Frenzy.
- Change Never-Sleep Pills to show Pools of Blood and Scratch Marks during a Frenzy.
- Change Stab Wounds Study to inflict Exhaustion on survivors for 10s when Slashed.
- Buff Iridescent Button to also increase Vaulting speed (Pallets and Windows) by 15%, even when not in Frenzy.
- Change Fuming Mixtape to reveal the Auras of survivors within the Terror Radius during Feral Frenzy. Increase the Terror Radius during a Frenzy by 8m.
Now Legion is looking pretty solid, so let's finish up by tweaking 2 of their Teachable Perks:
- Buff Mad Grit to also reduce Basic Attack cooldown duration by 15%, and increase movement speed by 3%.
- Buff Iron Maiden to expose survivors for 60s and reveal their Auras for 4s when exiting a Locker.
Tada, Legion is viable, and hopefully a little more fun!
Reduce Frenzy Fatigue to 2s, but increase it by 0.25s for every survivor Slashed, up to 3s.
Increase Frenzy movement speed to 5.6m/s and Frenzy Fatigue movement speed to 2.6m/s, but reduce both by 0.15m/s for every Slash, up to a maximum reduction of 0.6m/s.?
So you're punished for survivors making mistakes and grouping up against you? That's how you'll usually get 4 frenzy hits. If the survivors aren't making mistakes, then you're just getting punished for playing well.
The other changes are pretty solid though.
-
I lost my xbox account and all my progress with it in October 2020, and and had to redo the grind all over again. It's too late for a change like this to be meaningful to me personally, but I'd love to see it be implemented so other people don't need to go through what I did.

Oh, I got a few!
Legion:
- Don't hit survivors that are already injured or have Deep Wounds. Just cancel your power, because hitting them will give them a speed boost.
- Try not to lunge at survivors while in Frenzy, because you'll be easier to juke. Try to just hit them normally.
- Hitting a survivor while in Frenzy can delay them from doing an action. If you see someone unhooking or repairing, stabbing them over and over could buy you a bit of time.
Nemesis:
- This ones kinda popular already, but Nemesis's tentacle lingers for a moment after you use it. So, at loops, you can throw out your tentacle and side-step and sometimes you'll be able to hit a survivor as they're rounding a corner.
- If you can, try to always M1 over hitting a survivor with your tentacle.
- Try to lure or force survivors into areas that have zombies in them.
Ghostface:
- Height is your best friend. Always try to have the high ground while stalking survivors, as they won't expect it and you'll have a better line of sight.
- Ghostface can peak through a lot of small holes and objects. Use this to your advantage when stalking survivors.
- If you're spotted it, just try random bullshit. Crouch, weave back and forth, just generally act unpredictable as you make your way back to cover.
Hope this helped!
The Ghostface tips helped me in a few games I played a little while ago

Here's an idea:
Whenever Legion inflicts Deep Wounds, he gets a token.
At 4 tokens; his next FF attack can wound a Survivor (take them from healthy to Injured, or Injured to Dying).
This cannot be used against the most recent Survivor he inflicted Deep Wounds on (To prevent being insta-downed if you are the 4th found.)
The tokens decay in 30 seconds. When the timer is up; all the tokens go away at once. (To prevent hoarding 2 or 3)
The timer resets on every FF hit that adds a token.
If Legion hits a Survivor with a Basic attack; he loses all accumulated tokens.
When Legion hits someone with all 4 tokens; they are all spent. Even if this is simply putting a Healthy Survivor to Injured, as per normal FF.
The reasoning:
This allows Legion to possibly put ONE Survivor in the Dying state if he manages to hit ALL FOUR in one Feral Frenzy. It cannot be used against the 4th Survivor found, to avoid being unfair. It also HAS to be used within 1 Feral Frenzy, as the tokens do not last long enough to carry over.
The thing about this is that you have to have all 4 survivors grouped very close together for it to work, plus once you get your 4 frenzy hits you have to find a survivor without using scratch marks or blood pools and you most likely won't have the benefit of killer instinct either. Yet trying to fix any of those issues would cause this idea to make Legion extremely oppressive.
-
Monstrous Shrine, Insidious, Iron Grasp, Agitation, Bamboozle, Lightborn, Distressing, Coulrophobia, Unnerving Prescence, Lethal Pursuer on Bubba
The first four are your normal basement build. Bamboozle and Lethal Pursuer allow me to find and hook my first victim quickly. Lightborn makes sure the survivors don't attempt any flashlight shenanigans. and everything else makes it as painful as possible for those who are in my Terror Radius but not yet hooked.

Dashing backwards? Thatd be interesting to see. Its crazy how people learn stuff like the killer instinct locker thing. Had no idea but that could come in handy to an attentive killer.
Tbh the locker thing is pretty niche but it can definitely be helpful to know
As for backwards dashing, you can only do it on the side of a building. It can be anything though: cars, walls, killer shack, even piles of junk, although that's less consistent.
You have to look at the wall at a slight angle. It's pretty hard to explain and I'll send a picture when I can, but a baseline I used when learning it is that you want the edge of the wall to be in the center of your screen. Then, you hold left or right (or A/D) TOWARD the wall as you dash. The applications of this are truly endless once you master it.
-
Legion:
-If you are in Frenzy and you see a survivor whose killer instinct is positioned a little higher than usual, it means they are in a locker.
-You can use frenzy to stop survivors from unhooking each other to give you time to get out of frenzy and down them. Position yourself directly behind the unhooker, stab them, then wait until they start the animation again and stab them again. They will still be able to get the unhook, but you will be delaying them just long enough to pretty much guarantee a down most of the time.
Pig:
-Probably well known, but you can dash backwards if you look at a wall at a certain angle while dashing. (I can provide a picture/ in dpeth explanation if needed)
-If you're scared of getting pallet stunned, you can pull a downed survivor away from the pallet by standing behind them and putting a trap on them. I also used this to bait out a flashlight save once, but that was more because the survivor was bad.

People can't outpace you with distance if you smack them before they even know you're there. M&A + Dead Rabbit means he has no terror radius. That's one free hit (a grab off a gen, if you're lucky), and they better hope there's a pallet extremely nearby.
His antiloop capabilities are actually decent with Vanity Mirror. Remember, you can see survivors through walls, and you have no terror radius, so that opens up all kinds of mindgames you can play, especially on certain godloops (assumingthe survivor doesn't have Spine Chill).
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2751690#Comment_2751690
I don't have problems with any of the first few maps you mentioned. There are usually obstacles that you can use to obscure the line of sight as you approach. The distance on some of them can be annoying since Mikey doesn't always have great mobility, but I'm used to winning most games of Eyre of Crows in particular. Michael seems to do really well on that map for some reason I can't put my finger on.
Agree with you on Hawkins and The Game. With the latter, your best bet is to hope Ruin spawns in a good location (there are one or two spawn locations that will have survivors who haven't memorized them all searching the entire game, and the rest are awful), and just let a survivor loop you around the map until the pallets are gone, while occasionally spooking survivors off gens.
Yeah, Coldwind sucks for every killer now. Main complaint (especially for Michael mirror builds) is scratch mark/aura visibility.
Michael absolutely dominates Midwich and RPD.
(Actually, every killer I play dominated Midwich. Otz more recently mocked the idea that killers think the map in survivor-sided, and I would like to know who in the real world was actually making that argument in the first place. And RPD isn't nearly as survivor-sided as some think it is.)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2752030#Comment_2752030
One of his Iri addons are busted, and the other one is completely useless due to the speed nerf. Luckily, he has three purple (Tombstone Piece and both Mirrors) and one Yellow (Dead Rabbit) addons that are busted,. I very rarely run any Iri addons. Most of his other addons aren't useless, either.
I also don't understand how throwing all pallets is going to help against Tombstone, unless you're talking about countering Nemesis. Breaking one doesn't get rid of PWYF stacks. It adds extra time, but not all that much - and if you're running Piece, you're only going to get one hit before the timer runs out, anyway, so the time difference doesn't really matter, and if you're running Judith's, you're probably also running Fragrant, or it just isn't worth it (and probably not even then).
DR and M&A combo means that survivors don't know where you are. Vanity Mirror means that you know where they are (extra tracking perk optional, but Nurse's is a good idea when with VM).
holding W
Right, and if they're doing that, you can either commit to the chase and down them (I'll never understand why some people say "holding W" like it makes a survivor invincible; you're faster than they are, just don't be ######### lazy), pretend to leave and mindgame them into walking where you can find them through a wall (no terror radius, remember), or be happy that they're distracted and go chase someone else off of a gen (important thing to do when playing Michael).
Now, if someone is trying to bait you into a chase with Michael, it's usually a good idea to ignore them.
bully squads
If you see 3 or more (maybe 2 or more) in lobby with flashlights, run Lightborn. If they aren't stunning you every time you pick someone up, they're not so hard to deal with. Just tunnel one or two into the ground at the start of the game. Michael catches them off-guard, just because they think it's going to be an easy game.

Trapper is still the worst killer.
Legion is really not bad at all if you're playing her correctly. I've been playing Legion even more than Michael for the past month or two for some reason. His basekit is weak, but it meshes well with certain perks, enough so that she can easily jump up to a C or B-tier killer.
My strategy is to run Ruin/Undying/Pentimento/Thanataphobia. Legion thrives on slowdown perks. The first three are self-explanatory, but the fourth is especially insidious since it stacks with Penti and synergizes with Ruin, and... well, you know how survivors supposedly never heal against Ruin? They do now.
Then I either run the Mangled/Broken addons (very annoying, especially with Thana) or the pallet-breaking Iri with the addon that gives him an extra 2.5 seconds of FF.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2752592#Comment_2752592
Oh, but it's not a question of whether Otz was wrong in his tier list. It's just not. It's a question of how wrong he was.
It is interesting how even Otz held Tombstone Piece up in a later video as the shining example of how the game was not survivor-sided when he Mori'd two people before two gens had been done. I'm not saying he's the absolute strongest, but with the right build and add-ons, he's at least A-tier.

It stands for "Men's Rights Activist". Which doesn't sound bad on paper, except they spend no time focusing on issues that actually affect men more than women (like, say, the draft, or the trivialization of spousal abuse/sexual assault against men) and spend all of their time opposing feminism (meaning, the fairly reasonable "women should just have equal rights" kind every bit as much as the more insane variants). They have some pretty kooky ideas sometimes, which is why they made they made the list.
Trapper is still the worst killer.

I'm not going to argue with you for saying something I like to hear, however I do have some things to say:
Legion Pin (the one that applies broken) is pretty bad because it doesn't allow the survivors to heal (obviously) but good survivors aren't going to heal against you anyway, and by giving the survivors broken, bad survivors won't even have the option to heal, so you're missing out on some free slowdown.
Personally, I run Pop/BBQ/Bamboozle/Thana, but I often switch out Bamboozle for more slowdown. But it's still a good perk on Legion since you vault windows and pallets even faster in frenzy, and of course you block windows after vaulting them.
Finally, I recommend that you check out the frenzy duration addons. They are Legion's best by far.

Its weird how survivors say we want a secondary objective because game boring outside of chases old undying gave a secondary objective and then it got nerfed to what it is now. Boons are just old undying
People who ask for a second objective are really just saying that they want doing gens to be more interactive.
They don't want something that can actively punish you for doing it and makes the game literally unwinnable for not doing it. But that's the situation that Old Undying created.
Also, doing bones has always been a thing. Old Undying just made it a headache.

I always appreciate seeing these! Thank for for taking the time out of your day to make this.
I think I got a little too excited for the Legion changes, so I'm sad to see it's not coming this update.
I'm excited for the icons showing what other survivors are doing, I think It'll get me into playing survivor again. It's always been really frustrating for me because I have no friends

I guess, but CoH isn't a problem for Legion 💪 (except for when it is)
