He's a noob Huntress. He's actually much more relaxing to play than Huntress. The way Legion became the de-facto killer for newbies who wanted to deal damage but didn't like the constant looping I can see this guy being the go-to killer for new players that want a ranged killer without the difficulty of Huntress. It makes sense why he's described as an "easy" killer in the lobby.
-
No? he's probably high mid tier.
-
lmao it's complete junk. It's designed to scare rank 20 survivors away from the hook rather than actually let you instadown someone.
-
Damn man you got -rep, that's a bummer
-
should probably be buffed to 15 seconds per token, give killers a full minute.
-
Survivor - Looks cool, 2 meh perks and a new meta perk
Killer - Not so great, might as well just play Huntress. He will get nerfed even harder once survivors cry "no counterplay" so expect him to end up bottom tier like legion and freddy did for a while. Perks are literal junk you'd get more value out of iron grasp or territorial imperative.
-
Because while the killer is frantically running between exit gates hoping to find a survivor they’re all hiding far away in bushes and lockers? It will be incredibly easy to avoid this perk. Probably only good if you have NOED, as you can use that 40 seconds to camp a survivor if you do catch one without the rest coming out.
-
What are exhaustion perks then? Sprint burst is a free pallet or window for doing nothing
dead hard is a free pallet or window for getting hit, wow what an incredibly difficult thing to do
iron will covers your sounds for doing nothing
NOED is a gamble that you’ll play with 3 perks for 5 gens on the chance that survivors wont destroy all 5 totems before the gens are finished. Luckily for killers that gamble almost always pays off because survivors dont do the totems

You best bet every baby meg has it on. :) I swear whenever I see a baby meg I'm like come on meg I'm ready for the sprint burst.
I rarely see baby megs these days but to be honest I don’t mind baby survivors running it, I understand it.
It’s when it’s rank 1 P3 Claudettes with second chance perks galore that run it that I get tilted. Its the biggest no skill crutch build in the entire game. You just hide in bushes to not be seen, and if by some miracle the killer does spot you then you have your free escape perk. These players are completely carried.
If you’re red rank you should not be using or relying on sprint burst. In fact I’d say the same applies to purple rank too.
-
I hated NOED too but I’m at the point now where I feel like with the survivors having half a million second chance perks, is it really that bad for killers to have one?
Yeah you get some crutch players that gloat after NOED boosts them but on survivor side I see plenty of Blendettes completely carried by sprint burst and DS and then tbag and ez at the end. There’s crutches on both sides.

It honestly isn't much of a problem.
If a survivor dead hards to a pallet or window just abandon the chase.
That can put you into such a bad spot that it’s almost impossible to come back from if it happens in your first chase.
If this like the “its just a free hit” defence for MoM? Or the “its just a 5 second stun” defence for DS?
Killers operate on pressure so it’s a lot more complex than just a free hit or pallet.

So you're gonna sit here and moan about 1.9.2 like it wasn't almost immidiately reverted say that no the devs haven't learnt from their mistakes? Okay.
They thought it was a good idea. They thought playing survivor should be that easy. They caved to outrage from the playerbase.
The fact that they thought this was a good idea for the game tells you how they intend this game to be. Generally survivor isn’t meant to take much skill this is evident in their design throughout the past 5 years.
You seem to be one of those people that buys into PR hook, line and sinker. Like when a multinational company gets caught dumping toxic waste into the environment, then they go on to plant trees and gives a donation to green peace. They surely care about the environment deep down right?

The survivor role is already stupid easy as is. That's the problem. I play survivor pretty consistently too, but I don't need to run crutch perks or other things to even be moderately good at looping. I know the dev's tried to update these maps, but these batches with mid chapter were an absolute bust. I dread playing on all of them, because they literally turned fathers into a survivor sided map if strong windows spawn in. Still pretty survivor sided though, because they literally have pallet after pallet now in pretty unmindgamable loops. The game map is just an abomination beyond all proportions, and it feels like disturbed ward just got more annoying, because all of the stuff in the way.
I noticed that too.
meat plant is now the safest map in the entire game. If you have windows of opportunity you could probably do a no hit run the entire trial quite easily
Campbell’s chapel can now spawn infinites
Autohaven maps had their main buildings buffed, given windows where you can loop it 3 times guaranteed.
macmillan main buildings were fixed last year and then buffed in the reworks anyway? Coal tower was fine but now it’s an abomination. It can have 2-3 doors in the loop and then 2-4 pallets directly outside it too. You’ll have to destroy about 5 things on average to disarm that loop and even then survivors can still make it around to waste time.
They want killer to require more and more skill and yet they want survivor to be so braindead anyone can play it. Then they sit there wondering why queue times are so high lmao maybe because they keep raising the barrier for entry for one side while lowering it for the other.
-
@Freddy96 said:
Dead hard is absolutely fine, they shortened every single loop keeping in mind that dead hard was a thing. If they are ever gonna touch dead hard i would expect a lot of loops to be made safer than they are.
As usual now that they are gonna nerf ds and OoO the community needs another scapegoat as an excuse for their loss
lol have you played the new maps? Safe pallets and windows everywhere. Shortening a single loop means nothing.
-
@TicTac said:
Why are there so many safe pallets on the Game?
Is it bc...
1. The statistic shows that survivor are bad enough to still die?
2. The devs dont know how strong some loops are?
3. Nobody tested this maps?
Guess right and you win... nothing. All three reasons would be frustrating when they are true.
They don’t want survivor to take skill they want to keep it casual. Remember these are the same designers who once thought it was a good idea to have instablind flashlights, and where the survivor could blind or drop a pallet on a killer at any single point in the pickup animation, and the killer would automatically drop the survivor once the animation had finished. Thats how easy they want the survivor role to be.

You loop killers without training wheels because your most likely a low rank survivor facing bad killers. Also how does me using a perk make me bad at the game, because you can honestly say the same for Every perk.
Bahahaha I love it. The sprint burst justification says it all. No offence but the posts I have seen from you so far give off the indication that you’re a fairly casual player of games in general who doesn’t understand how balance or skill works in videogames. Developers and designers can be bad too you know, not everything is balanced just because it’s in the game.
Also no sweetie I am not low rank nor do I face bad killers. I’ve played this game for years and gone against the best of the best. That’s how I learned how to hold my own in a chase, years of practise. At some point you learn to last long enough consistently that you can take off the training wheels. It’s understandable though if you’re not there yet and need the game to hand you your first pallet for free as a bit of a head start.

I call sprint burst baby's first crutch perk.
Ahahahaha that’s what me and my friends call it too! They should slap the Fisher Price logo on that perk. Ages 12months+
-
There was a post in the feedback section about this. It looks pretty broken and I think people are starting to notice. The bottom of the chapel can have the windows spawn in a way that creates an actual infinite.
Looking at what they’ve been doing with maps recently I think this might actually be intentional. It seems they want survivors to be able to waste 3 minutes of a killers time in a single chase.
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
Lol this explains the "no viable killer in the last 2,5 years" comment from the other post.
Maybe if you actually played the game and got a bit better you wouldn't be bullied so easilly.
Unless you're facing a 10k hours combined tourney swf squad you always have a chance of winning.
If I was as bad as you say then what I did wouldn’t be possible because you need your first hook fast to camp and it’s incredibly easy to loop a Bubba for 5 gens since he is hindered by pallets.
I love how the survivors are getting so tilted by this. Y’all wanna click click, tbag and show me your aura all game for attention but once you get that attention you don’t like it.
-
You can tell who is feeling a little targeted by this by who’s getting their jimmies rustled in this thread.
Where did I say I facecamp normal survivors? I can just not stand in front of a hook if the survivors play normal?
However if you come into the game with OoO and when first seeing the killer your entire SWF decide to start spamming their flashlight macros in unison these people are only there to troll other players and ensure they have a bad time. They get what they ######### deserve as the saying goes.
BHVR knows this and they send my boys out there to be bullied for the sake of selling more cosmetics and getting more toxic players into the game but Daddy Bubba is there to make sure only 1 side leaves that game feeling miserable and it sure as hell ain’t Daddy Bubba.
-
Nope. I'm burnt out. More than anything its the maps, they weren't too bad last year, just a few needed touching up and now they have gone back in time with some of them. Yay for more god pallets, infinites, and needing to bring Bamboozle again.
Oh and breakable walls. Probably the worst thing they've ever put in. It's just a free head start to survivors or a free escape.
-
It seems pretty tryhard on the top few killers in a meta build but if someone is playing Trapper or Wraith it's completely understandable.
-
Considering slugging is pretty much the only thing killers can do against a genrush squad because there literally isn't time for 12 hooks, I would say this would be incredibly broken.
-
Sprint burst. If you use sprint burst you can not call yourself a good player, period.
Also trying to rush a gen while you're trying to hook someone nearby, or popping a gen right in front of your face. It's tryharding and you're just forcing me to tryhard too....which is dumb because you're the one thats gonna cry I didn't play fair after the game.
Also and probably most importantly, dead hard for distance. If you're a red rank survivor you shouldn't need a crutch get out of trouble free perk. I loop killers without the training wheels.
-
@latinfla4 said:
Just tried again 2 red ranks and 2 purples ran me for the whole game got 2 hooks didnt camp they all escaped tbagged like usual and verbally abused me and then of course git good...my fault for being a green rank right? And if I report nothing happens
The devs don't care. You're literally just bait to Behaviour Interactive so that those kind of toxic players keep playing the game and keep buying cosmetics. You're there only so that the toxic swf can have fun.
That's why I'm taking it upon myself to deal out some vigilante justice. I've been facecamping these kind of groups all day, they can give it out but can't take it. So I'm just a thorn in Behaviour's business plan at this point.
It's sad to see you guys so defeatist. Maybe next time I get a real toxic OoO clicky clicky swf I'll record it so everyone can enjoy watching them struggle against a lean, mean, chainsaw revving camping machine
-
He's poop 💩
Play the early game safe, drop pallets early, have your team rush gens, gg ez baby oni he'll probably have about 2 minutes to make use of his power if/when he gets it or its game over for him.

I think I just don't live near DBD's servers and/or the servers themselves don't perform as well as they do in other games. The two games I play most frequently are BF4 and DBD and in BF4 my ping is usually around 40ms.
"You can easily dodge, if you have good reflexes and good ping" is probably exaggerated truth ("easily" would make him a pretty terrible killer), but the fact remains that many players will not have both. It's even worse after the movement changes too because you can't change direction quite as quickly. No other killer in the game has this requirement and this is why I feel his design is fundamentally flawed. The worst you'll get against other killers are more frequent BS hits through windows and such. You can still play against them as normal and you certainly don't lose your main counterplay against them.
On the reverse side ping also makes shots which land dead center not count as a hit so it balances out.
-
"spam" lol? it takes time to keep spamming it and gens will be popping left and right. On some god pallets you only get 1 chance btw if you miss the survivor is gone.
-
Yeah the stealth killers are the ones you need it against the most since they're most likely to camp hooks.

killers using filters to crank up the brightness of maps is also an exploit pls fix both
To be fair that only really affects Blendettes.

survivor: BBQ is op
Killer:Nice genrush (after they chase 1 survivor all game like the rest of us are meant to sit and wait) or sometimes they say it when you get the slowest gens of your life

Insidious, Lightborn, and two from BBQ, Enduring, NOED, Iron Grasp, Agitation, Franklins's or Thanatophobia.
When camping I honestly like Iron Grasp and Agitation so I can basement hook the survivor while their friends try to blind me.
Normally I don't run a camper build, but sometimes the SWFs bring it upon themselves.
I like Lightborn because it straight up ruins their fun. You don't take it for your fun, you take it to ruin their fun. It's between lightborn and franklins. I've had clicky clicky survivors actually disconnect once they realized I had Franklins lmao!
Rancor is another beauty, they really hate that perk and at least one survivor sure as hell won't be trying any late game saves.

Weren’t you just in another thread trashing new killers for not being good enough for “top percentage players”?
Doesn’t sound like you’re playing very top percentage yourself based on this tantrum
It's universally agreed that killers are underpowered and has consistently been repeated by many of the best players over the past 4 years but ok dude. You and your friends struggle with survivor we get it.
-
@Kellie said:
Just play the match.
Personally I feel like SWF can't bully killers anymore, simply because of all the nerfs and balance changes on the survivor's side.
You can really only bully a killer nowadays if they're a complete noob.
LOL
Bullying is a feeling not a balance thing first of all. Having 4 people all chatting and working together whose intention is not to play the game but is to ruin the game for you and make you feel miserable is bullying. It's still possible with most killers except the the ones that are really good, and even they can get tilted at times.
But it's ok because I was born into toxicity, molded by it. I can make them rage better than they can make me rage.

Sounds like someone hasn't ever watched a competitive game with a good Blight. He has the best mobility in the game combined with really strong chase and some crazy addons (alchemist ring, speed addons, iri addons) which makes him absolutely the third best killer in the game. Despite the fact that his attack turns are only 30 degrees it can be increased up to a full 180. As long as the person that's playing him is really good then he's very powerful.
lmfao ok buddy

What are you talking about? Go look at competitive games with Blight and the Twins. Those two are atleast top 5 in the competitive scene. Blight is essentially nurse with mobility and the Twins have amazing synergy with gen defense perks since they can pressure two spots on the map. What kind of nonsense are you talking about?
Son, Blight is a joke at the highest level of play and comparing him to the Nurse is lunacy.
-
lmao you guys are dreaming. Winning a few average players in public games does not make those killers viable for the top percentage of players.

-
The last time there was a killer that was viable at the highest level it was 2.5 years ago. True story.

Do you want survivors to stop using d-strike or not???
I hate that argument lmao. So many will absolutely ######### on survivors for bringing that perk but every single time this topic comes up you get all the killers screeching “why should they get the benefit if they don’t bring it !!!!!!!!!” Make up ur minds lmao
Yes all killers have a hive mind, true story. How silly of me to forget that.
-
Kills have always been the win. Since camping isn't fun though they made an emblem system to encourage you to go for hooks. You're meant to kill them but do it via multiple hooks.
At some point though you become burnt out like the rest of us and you no longer care about any of that, you've been rank 1 many times over, you've got all the perks unlocked, now you just want to kill by any means necessary.
-
Camp one of them. It really riles them up and they'll say all sorts to get under your skin in the postgame chat. I sit back and smile knowing that I got under their skin and gave them a taste of their own medicine. Even if 3 make it out they absolutely hate the fact that you camped one of them.
-
The only change it needs is if you tbag it disabled it. The toxic players shouldn't be allowed to hide behind this perk
-
survivor - trash, situational, second chance
killer - trash, meme tier trash, situational
-
DS took away survivors fear because they had a full minute to do whatever they wanted and couldn't be hooked.
NOED is there to give killers a chance in the final part of the game, because we all know if that last gen pops and there's no NOED and no instadowns that you're making it out safely. It's to keep some tension in the game while you prepare for the final act which is opening the exit gates.

Killers get the benefit of survivors thinking they have BBQ even if they don't.
So I think it's fair the other way around.
are you a bush blendette? I couldn't care less if the killer has BBQ early game I'll sit on that gen until they're on me. laugh out loud if it's a low tier killer, what are they gonna do? get looped?
The only time you need to respect BBQ is if it's a solid Nurse.

Dude you need to go get some sleep or something clearly the thought of not getting a game with no claws around any of the survivors triggers you something fierce to the point where over half the point you're making are coming off salty and invalid
Yeah I'm the one thats coming off invalid, lets just recap the conversation shall we?
You: I want the killer to think I have Decisive Strike so that they won't tunnel me
Me: Ok, bring Decisive Strike then
You: NO!, I don't want to!
That's pretty much the actual conversation. There's a very simple solution to your problem - bring decisive strike!

Unless I'm rusty on my DBD history, devs do not pull maps for the simple reason that one side hates it. So I doubt that that will happen. Maybe they'll start by removing a couple of pallets that are a little too near each other, though- that's not really an unreasonable expectation.
Its not just the number its the safety of pallets. Most of them are god pallets, if you play wraith or myers or trapper on here you might as well disconnect or go afk because you’re just going to be playing a walking sim not an action game.
-
Just facecamp with LF. After OoO swf leader number 789 and his cronies I am far past the point of caring about what survivors think to my playstyle. I play for kills only now and if I want to camp then I’ll camp.
-
I hope they leave the maps for a long time they’ve actually ruined the maps they have touched so far and it shows.
