  • Colourblind player here. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've seen blood in this game (ok maybe 2 hands). This past week or few weeks I realize I've been noticing it everywhere. Big glorious blobs of it on every floor. Does it look easier to see to anyone else? At first I thought maybe it's the new maps, there's more open ground and less grass but it seems the same on older

  • I was using Surge on clown, map was rancid abbatoir. It's the first time I've used surge in a while. Whenever it activated looking at the icon in the bottom right, there was no noise from the generators. From what I remember using this perk you get the sound and visual notification of a generator exploding, like a failed skillcheck. In this game there was none at all even though surge activated

  • Hello. So I often find Badham school a bit of a pain. It's a huge hold W zone for survivors which can waste a lot of time and requires very little skill to use as you can drop god pallets to drag out the chase and very few killers can do anything here to cut down on time wasted, but as it's such a hotspot all survivors will end up here eventually. It's very boring to play against. Here is a (rou

  • Think about it and you know it's true. Everytime you see these 3 things together you know this is going to be an extremely salty, toxic player. Whether they escape or die they're salty and will want to have a rant regardless over the smallest thing. I've played dirty, they rant, I've played nice, they rant, I've meme'd about, they rant, all 4 escape, they

  • You fixed this last year, I have no idea why you decided to revert the changes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqy52t50zho This video explains the issue pretty well. The window is far too strong for how simple it is to use. Survivors can run this again and again and again all trial. It just encourages killers to camp since there's no point chasing. Secondly, the small win

  • See a lobby that looks like toxic swf (yes cosmetics and characters really do say so much about people) Take on the challenge anyway Load into game, see the Object of obsession aura Nea with the pink hair and an instaheal Oh it's one of those games is it? Immediately chase the obsession Obsession runs straight to groaning storehouse Immediately abuses that loop, over 3 times around and n

  • This is seriously the most frustrating mechanic in the entire game right now by a long shot. It's REALLY not fun to play against. Do you realize how much time and effort the killer has to put into a chase? having to outplay a good survivor to get them down? and what, someone gets to undo all of that hard work by holding a button for 2.5 seconds? are you ######### kidding me? I don't know what's

  • Try to practise Nurse who I was never amazing with, but very rusty now Get Midwich which is a hard map to get used to Full swf Get 4 bbq tokens, fresh hook everytime Chase a survivor at the end but get cucked by adrenaline Manage to hit this survivor as they close in on the exit gates, the other 3 of them at the exit gates tbagging me despite me playing "fair". Left every hook immediately a

  • This has happened a number of times now. If a survivor is unhook another survivor, and you use your chainsaw as Leatherface, the chainsaw will swing through them about 3 times and not a single hit counts. The unhooking survivor seems to share i-frames with the hooked survivor (I know they have it), and not a single chainsaw hit counts as a hit until the unhook is completed. Is this intentional?

  • Why does everything work against killer? Everything? If you make one mistake, cant find one survivor, you can lose the entire game. Theres nonstop pressure against you at all turns. Meanwhile as survivor? Get gifted a free escape via the hatch. Gifted a free game reset via the 4%. Even sabo’ing a hook can snowball into such a huge detrimental game for the killer. Think about that you spend so muc

  • I remember back around...say all the way up to late 2018 when breathing was a thing. You could hear it twice as much with stridor and it was interesting hearing all the different breathing sounds they put in. Years of audio changes later and aside from Meg I don't think I can hear any survivor breath at all. The chase music completely drowns it out along with footsteps on a number of different s

  • We've all seen it, the killer camps, the survivors complain after the game it takes no skill and it's a cheap way to win etc. Consider this however, when you watch tournaments camping and tunneling plays a huge part. Some of the very best players in this game resort to camp & tunnel, and recently watching Otz go for his 50 wins streak as Clown I've been surprised by how quickly he resorts to

  • I see a number of people have said they are too dark compared to before, I'd just like to add my experience too. I'm not sure if my colourblindness plays a part of it it's just the darkness but I find it hard to visually keep track of survivors. Particularly survivors in P3 cosmetics. The dark cosmetics blend in with the autohaven jungle gym walls and the general tint of the maps. So if I'm wat

  • It's consistent, everytime I go for a hook it's at the full distance of the wiggle timer. No petrified oak offerings either. Don't think I haven't noticed Behaviour. I'm having to consider making agitation a mandatory perk at this point.

  • We currently have a ranking system in place. We know that the amount of survivors playing the game vastly outweighs the number of killers, which leads to long survivor queues, which leads to the game greatly expanding its matchmaking parameters which is how we end up with rainbow ranks. I understand how MMR works but at what point is the matchmaking just saying "oh no these people have been wai

  • I keep noticing people say Spirit takes no skill, Freddy takes no skill, Pyramid takes no skill etc etc and they say these killers need nerfs to become skill based. Yet there exists within the game many things on the survivor side which take no skill whatsoever and that's apparently not a problem? take for example a map like Lerys, you can literally just hold forwards and mash space bar a few ti

  • I've never seen survivors burn this map offering so much. It's unplayable for killer, there's nothing you can do but kick pallets. It spoils the entire game more so than any other map and should be disabled until a fix is in place. Can anyone at the company actually come out on record and say this map is well designed and justify it? does anyone working there actually believe that?

  • Is it the one on Midwich in the corner by the stairs? to mindgame that I think you'd have to moonwalk to the opposite corner of the map, up the stairs, back to that corner, down the stairs then turn and hit. Or have any of the pallets on the new meat plant outdone it?

  • Its been getting bigger and bigger ever since release. I had a survivor standing roughly where the red oval shape is in the image. So I KNEW there was a survivor with Head On in the locker. I'm pretty sure they had DS at that time so I wasn't going to bother trying to get them out anyway. I figure maybe if I hug the left wall I can get past, surely...

  • Every single time you see someone near the school its the same boring thing. Vault the fence and around, vault the fence and around, vault the fence and around. Doesn’t matter which side they vault its the same thing. The school itself is just one bit hold W zone. There’s literally no gameplay but hold W. I’m just gonna afk or facecamp from now on depending on which killer I’m using because the

  • I'm not sure how to put this across without it sounding insulting but it's common knowledge that map design has been one of the biggest problems with Dead By Daylight. Sometimes issues crop up that are addressed quickly (infinite on Saloon), other times they take years (Ironworks etc). Just as we have a community cosmetic contest, why not have a map design contest? see what the community can com

  • So I just wanted to clear up a few unfinished archive challenges and stupidly decided to go for them solo. Here are my experiences 1) Me and another survivor start work on a generator in front of us at the start of the trial. Another survivor strangely takes offense to this and throws the teddy out of the cot, drops a pallet and fast vaults it over and over and over again until the killer comes

  • I sometimes find myself in the predicament where I’m unable to hook the last survivor and so my options are to either let them have a free escape of wait 2 minutes for them to bleed out on the ground. I’ll pick them up, look around, realise I physically can’t reach any hook and then drop them. There’s really not much you can do here. I could go looking for the hatch to close it but that leaves

  • I was officially diagnosed as colourblind as a child, I’ve done some tests online recently to find out exactly what type I had and it’s moderate-strong Deuteranopia. If I turn the Deut mode on low I see the colors in the bar look different but in game not much. If I whack it up to full then scratch marks are actually easier to see on Ormond ground textures. (I’ve been running around with Fixated

  • You know what I mean. You sat there for 20 minutes you finally get to test out the new killer for the first time and it's a SWF with the works, coldwind offering, keys, toolboxes and a goal to get those gens done in under 3 minutes. Just curious lol

  • So as we all know DBD is basically bully sim 2021 at this point. Killers are intentionally weak because its the survive with friends buddies that are the main playerbase for this game and they're the ones buying all the cosmetics. You're meant to be used as an attractive chewtoy to lure these people in " Look come bully these silly killers and make them rage! it's fun LOL!" . No matter how much p

  • You know it is, survivors shouldn't be able to see so much of their surrounds by adjusting the resolution of the game. When will this be fixed? it breaks the game and makes m1 killers unplayable (the same killers you expect people to play because they're "fun" and keep survivors happy)

  • this is horrendous there's breakable walls everywhere, everytime you hear a gen being worked on you have to stop and break the wall to get in giving the survivors a big heads up. The corridors are too small and claustrophobic so you're chasing scratchmarks more than survivors, and the pallets.....I'd say the pallets dont need any explanation but clearly they do. They are quite possibly the worst

  • It has been repeated for years that killers don't have time to do their objective, so you add breakable walls everywhere? Midwich is a great example. You can't get around to look for survivors until you break walls. You then chase, get them down, now you need to break a wall to reach a hook, want to pop a nearby gen? go break another wall. All the while you hear the gens 99% near you and you're

  • If I disconnect against an Object of obsession as Freddy? I know you're going to say it's to discourage disconnects yaddda yaddda yadda but this is absolute garbage lmao there's literally nothing you can do. No mindgame, nothing. It breaks the entire game and they can see you 24/7. In any other game this would be an exploit, in dead by daylight it's just sloppy design left in and called it a da
