Myers without Tombstone Piece is garbage, people who play him like that are gonna be at low MMR.
Infinite tier 3 is good

He is boring and weak version of Ghostface (that is more fun and has better stealth and doesn't run out of juice). Without Tombstone add-ons there are no rly reasons to play him.
Myers can always stalk, ghostface can't if survivor just look at him. Myers has instakill add ons and infinite tier 3 he is stronger.

Only on pinhead?

I never win against him in a SoloQ group. Once the first Survivor is downed after being marked, he just snowballs everyone. I am trying to play him myself, but I always get caught stalking !
Typical dbd experience.

I put them mostly on killers for the same reason I mostly just prestige killers. The killers are unique game play whereas survivors are just skins. I don’t want all the cakes locked on a skin when I move to a different one.
About 3,000 of those are between my two mains currently which are Onryo and Ghostface. The other 2k spread around on other killers I play frequently.
I have opposite throw my bp mostly to survivor. Expect this event I used lot on killer too to update my add on supplies. If the event though would continued longer I would throwed more bp to wraith and huntress. I needed survivors I like to have good stuff too and cakes as I play that side more and regularly with friends.
But I think survivors are more than skin. Gameplay is technically same but simply we humans like some humans more and that goes with survivors too. It's just preference. I prefer for example feng, nancy, sable, jane, nea and meg and play them lot. Some survivors I play never so I don't update them much just enough they have all perks.
I don't really have killer main so then throw the bp to survivor. One reason is to simply show my prestiges and P100 feels like the goal of the game for me. On killer I throw it more evenly so it would take forever to get them all P100. But if 2vs8 comes pernament mode this might change as big reason I prefer survivor that it's team mode and then I have to show my killer teammate that im decent. My highest prestige on killer is only P18. Most killers I like are above P10. I have all perks on every killer as well.
I think skins are also more on killer I though I never play huntress but were-elk skin changed that. It's just too good skin so I play were-elk. But I say big requirement is to killer to be viable and chase oriented for me still. I like trapper bear skin but good survivors would destroy me as I would chase too much instead patrolling area.

Wraith is fine and there is lot of ways you can counter him. No need to add more.

I think they were as bad this year. But you would easily have 2000 cakes on other charactera that's just how bad it is. Got my P100 feng only to 70 cakes and that felt im wasting bp...

The problem is he was trash and should have stayed that way because even after omega buffs they all still tunnel and camp. Not only that but he is the best at tunneling and camping too and has zero counter play for it. Haven’t ran into a single one who hasnt tunneled.
Use ds that counters his tunneling and just loop him. We have now anticamp mechanic so you can do trade and counter his camping unless it's basement. If thT the case then other teammates should just do gens. But to be honest camping/tunneling bubbas has been rare to me usually they play quite fairly.

@HexHuntressThighs said:
Honestly still clueless why they omega buffed cannibal. He is insane at camping, tunneling and slugging. Can literally shred through post hook BT. Why did they give an insta down killers chainsaw same cooldown as an M1 killers weapon wipe. His tantrum should be 5 seconds again, 3 is insane. And him having essentially zero collision is also a problem, you literally can’t make him bump into anything. For some reason survivors are fine with it though. The amount of tunneling and camping cannibals have skyrocketed and it’s annoying to play against.
Bubba was quite weak before the buff probaly easiest killer to loop unless it was really cracked bubba player. He needed buffs and his collision was bad and tantrum way too long.
Hillbilly is the superior instadown killer anywau with way smaller cooldowns. If one was over buffed it was him.

or maybe some killer are sick of play a cake then get genrushed by toxic survivors I'm not play any good offering on either side anymore.
Gen rushing does not happen that often and as killer you can counter it employing stragedies like tunneling/camping or if you're able to end chases quickly.
Gen rushing is used too often really but during event if survivors ignore totally anniversary totems and chest and just crank gens we could say they gen rush but normally it mean survivor bring toolboxes with bnp:s or perks because otherwise it just doing objective. Survivors don't have other objective unfortunately but killer has two objectives getting hooks and kills.
Now worst case is sometimes survivors manage to gen rush but killer still often gets more bp. My losing matches I have been still getting 200K+. So there is no reason not to bring cake because you still get lot of bp. Next match probably is better and you can always somewhat control the flow of the match as killer.
You choose if someome gets tunneled or if you just go for hooks. Now even the fact event is killer sided with abilities like remote hook and pallet break. Also killers get at least twice more cakes from bloodwebs if not more. There is really no excuse to not bring cakes unless you bring mori or map offering but that should be rare thing still.
Survivors at least have excuses when they get barely bp from match that they don't have enough bp to to buy cakes that I can understand. Still they should bring cakes as much they can. Unfortunately survivor bloodweb is really bad for cakes and for this event they should really increased the amount of bp survivors can earn and incentivated killers making matches longer.
I would be just fine making killer also get those 3000 bp from gens. So then maybe matches would not end at 5 gens. Fact is you should only get event bp if you bring cake that should happen next anniversary now it's only halfed if you don't bring one.

That whole explanation doesn't make any sense as a source as we've had near instant killer queue times for the entire event up till this very end. If that was actually a reason we would've seen long killer queues way before now.

Last day panic is a thing, and my killer queues have drifted between 1 and 5 minutes for most of this event (barring evenings, where they're faster), so I wouldn't exactly say they've been fast up until now.
Yeah I think it last day panic people want to get lot of bp so they play killer. 1-5 minutes has been more the norm. Survivor queque has been instant for me during the event.

I play Killer a lot and this happens to me almost once a day, sometimes twice a day. The reason that I agree with you and suspect foul play is because it never happens when I’m alone or losing. It only only only ever happens when I have a snowball going on. Could it still be server issues? It could be but I’m still very suspicious.
Edit: I lose my add ons and offerings when this happens but then like a game or two later they reappear in my inventory. I haven't verified if BP also gets reimbursed or not.
That's a lot. It has happened me once during event in endgame. When I went to locker with dredge power and exited from there. The game did crash for survivors too I asked and they didn't get bp. But before I have had it happen as well when im winning maybe the servers can't handle too many downs and hooks sometimes?

Agree for most part changing map offerings rarity would help they should be purple or their own rarity. For me I have had very hard time getting lery on myers I need that for scratched mirror so deleting map offerings is not the solution.
I would be fine making bloody party streamers their own rarity as well they should be more common than normal cakes or puddlings.

That's the worst part. When I'm killer, I never slug, tunnel or camp - if anything, unless I have a challenge that requires me to play a little meaner, I focus on making sure everyone has fun. But there are way too many toxic strategies that the killer or survivor can do that needs a change. I have a few solutions, but people tend to not like them. For example, to fix slugging, make it to where you can pick yourself back up. I get it's a perk, but that perk should be reworked, and it should be added to the survivor's base kit, so that way the killer is forced to hook, and can't just bleed people out.
I don't have anything for tunneling and camping - I'm sure there's a solution, but I can't think of any.
Seen many suggest removing collision for X amount of time after being unhooked to counter tunneling. It would counter survivor bodyblocking the killer as well. For camping I have no solution.
I play quite fairly on killer so otherside get mostly good amount of bp. But if survivors sweat I sure sweat myself. But I don't undertand the camp/tunnel at 5 gens so many killers want to end the match in first minutes. That's why I can understand some survivors not bringing cakes always. They simply don't have enough bp to get them.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
So iirc you must
-Hook each unique Survivor at least one time
-Kill all 4 Survivors
-Get a total of 10 "Hook Events" throughout the match, meaning that you must hook Survivors at least 10 times.
And yes, if you win too quickly, you miss out on Devout (and ideally make up for it in Gatekeeper/Chaser because your Malicious will be dropping too)
3K is enough for gold if you have hooked everyone at least once and have 9 or more hooks. For iridescent devout you need 4K and 9 or more hooks.

Yeah on scratched mirror it's best to jumpscare people I have only sadly 4 lerys offering but few million bp on myers and got only 1... Then on other killers I got them all the time. It has made me wonder somethings...
I like vanity mirror too it's actually viable you can scare people with it too. I use dead rabbit and monitor abuse to reduce my terror radius almost non existant.

There's no way tombstone piece and Judith's Tombstone survive, which is probably for the best. Other than that… I think the first thing he needs is unlimited stalk and less punishing conditions in Tier 1. Reworking Tier 1 to be a viable maximum-stealth approach and then changing the mechanic so he cycles between the tiers instead of T1 being a nerf state he has to escape and then never returns to might be a good move?
Judith tombstone should at least survive it takes super long to get tier 3 and it could restrict stalking back to how it's now.
But I pray they don't touch scratched or vanity mirror. Well vanity mirror could even use buff having bigger aura reading range.

"There are different form of tunneling than just hardcore tunneling. If
you camp hook get trade hook them instantly and go after unhooked it's
tunneling you chased no-one else and the intention was always to go
after unhooked. "I don't think that's tunneling. It also gave you lots of time to get away and lose them. That scenario also does not prove their intention was always to go after the unhooked.
"It just worth to hook the traded if you have pain res and grim embrace.
What you suggest would just nerf soloQ even further swf would coordinate
saves to keep ds activated and normally they do that anyway. "Let's be totally honest here, almost anything is a nerf to solo queue. I'm really tired of that being a counter argument because it nearly applies to like 99% of anything that would be good for killer. The list of things you could realistically do that would ever be positive for killer in any way that does not hurt solo queue more is nearly non existent. Everything is gonna hurt solo queue more.
I don't like tunneling and I'd even like it totally made impossible if it were up to me. Make DS 10 seconds I don't care. I just don't want to be eating "anti-tunnel" in my face when I'm trying not to tunnel. In the games current state of "anti tunnel" I'm forced to be hit with many of them when I'm not tunneling and they're used aggressively. Your changes without additional limiting factors does not improve that and even potentially makes it worse. I would even say there are significantly more games where "anti tunnel" is abused to body block than there are games with actual tunneling. It's misused more often than it's used for its intended purpose. They're currently just used as extra health states to pass around the team.
So if you can make it so people aren't hit with "anti tunnel" like DS when they're not tunneling I'm in favor of whatever buffs you want to it, but I haven't seen that yet.
Tunneling is especially something you don't want to buff agains't soloQ and nerf agains't swf. After trade going after unhooked is tunneling regardless you slug or hook. Hooking traded takes 3 seconds and now with event ability it's even faster. Unhooked has no time in match outside being hunted in that situation.
I almost never see killers lose track of survivor in that situation and that can happen even middle of tunneling if other survivors bodyblock and distract other ways.
I have done that and my intention has been always tunnel or changed I tunnel now lot of times it's the smart play. We know it's good stragedy. It's better stragedy often than hardcore tunneling. You get pressure on the other survivors. Though now I do tunneling rarely as I don't like it. I actually rather be tunneled than tunnel myself.

If he downs someone after unhooking you, hooks them, then proceeds to go find and chase you, then you have plenty of opportunity and also weren't tunneled. Tunneling would be either not even hitting that guy at all or at least leaving him slugged.
There are different form of tunneling than just hardcore tunneling. If you camp hook get trade hook them instantly and go after unhooked it's tunneling you chased no-one else and the intention was always to go after unhooked.

Make it 80s but turn off if the killer hooks someone else.
Well there is one problem trades otherwise I could agree. It would have to be new chase after unhook which would result in down and hook but could game calculate that. Well maybe the new hook could tune down it back to 60s timer.

You’re severely underestimating OTR. Try it if you have it. The amount of times you get hit immediately off hook are probably 1 in a 80 games just going from my experience. Even if you get hit, no grunts of pain, no pools of blood and your aura can’t be read for 80 seconds. It is a very good anti tunnel perk, can easily be better than DS. If you are frequently getting hit off hook immediately then your teammates are very, very bad.
It's even better paired with ds and dh. Bigges issue with ds is though you have to go purposelly down to use it as the timer is so short. If it was 80s like otr it would be better. B

Gens give bonus BP on completion so everybody is slamming gens harder than ever.
They should give bonus BP for chases, pallet stuns and other killer interactions instead.
Party chest and party totems give bonus bp as well keeping survivors off the gens. Killer on other hand get bonus from hooks and abilites help in that so killers will end matches as fast as possible.
Many games end 3-5 gens remaining so much about gen rushing when it's just kill rushing. My games would also end 3-5 gens remaining as killer but I give them second chances.
I only had one hard game recently which I did 4K but swf survivors did give me hard fight. I had to really work for it and it ended in 1 gen left which they almost got done. That point I only had 6 hooks and everyone alive.

Survivors are so much worse to grind cakes on, though. It's awful compared to what killers get. So getting 840 on Dweet is pretty dang impressive.

Most of my matches see only two Cobblers at most. A killer brings one maybe half the time. I have a lot of matches where the survivor who earns the least gets between 2-3k and the survivor who earns the most still gets below 10k, so it's not surprising no one's burning them.
I spread my points around and keep my main survivor purposefully low so I don't get targeted. I don't put many points into killer because I don't play killer as much as I used to on PS4 and don't play killer at all (except for challenges) on Switch. I get a couple Cobblers on each killer and stop. I'm happy as long as I have one or two of each event item on every character as a memento.
Are you on low mmr? As my experience been different most killers do bring cakes and survivors. There are sometimes maybe one killer or survivor bringing selfiss cake but other than that it's been good. Everyone been getting solid bp expect few off matches here and there.
I had one match on killer where survivors brought only 1 cake so I did that match bad time for them and tunneled/camped. I let the one with the cake escape. So that can be also reason why you matches are bad as many killers including me get angry if we don't get cakes.

Overall 900+ cakes on survivor which nancy has most of any character 400+ got her to P100. Nea, meg, feng, ace, alan, aestri, sable, jill, cheryl all have between 40-80 cakes. No-one really stand outs expect nancy.

As someone else said, the killer is the driver of the gameplay.
But also, killers absolutely do this as well, it's just with different wording: 'This is unhealthy for gameplay', 'X is broken', 'this map is too strong'.
The devs have spent the past two years systematically changing the game, and a huge number of those changes appear to be by demand. Perks like dead hard, MfT, prove thyself, circle of healing, medkits and BNP completely reworked, corn maps, haddonfield (twice), reworking map logic and weakening pallets across the board, and there's a ton that I'm not listing to keep the list short.
All of that was changed after incessant complaining by the community. So yes, killers absolutely lose their minds and demand change as well. Unfortunately, they've been getting what they want enough that there's a huge trend of reinforcement to complain about anything in the game that's even perceived as a minor inconvenience at this point. And that trend is backed up by kill rate stats going steadily upward for those two years as well.
I remember reading funny comment regarding new haddonfield rework that is balanced around 50 hour baby trapper having good chance winning with using only m1. Some of the maps seem that way now with all the unsafe pallets. Now the situation is somewhat in control but if more and more maps get to changed to having only 5 unsafe pallets survivor becomes unplayable.
Some maps are now still survivor sided but I think it's fine killers have so many good maps as well. I just played in map (crotus prenn asylum) on killer which had window vault right besided shack window it was disgusting well I still outplayed survivors there with m1 killer. Best situation would be that most maps are evenly balanced.

So whenever you play against SWF, you are supposed to stand AFK for the whole trial? Because you can't win against SWFs without tunneling.
I recomend you to do that then when seeing high prestige survivors... I won today 5 in a row in soloQ with them and most games killers had couple hooks.
Meanwhile I played swf and we died every game and not any killer tunneled and even they played for 8 hooks. Competent teammates in soloQ are much better than average swf.

Better idea is the perks disable if they're healthy. The problem is not they body block with endurance, its they body block being healthy and with endurance.
For now, if survivors body block with OTR, just tunnel them because they ask for it. Lucky that body block with healthy + endurance are rare.
It's not good idea sometimes you can heal hooked guy before killer start to tunnel them so no need to make tunneling any easier. Removing collision is best idea to end tunneling and remove weaponizing anti-tunnel perks.
-
If anything anti-tunnel perks are too weak and just delay inevitable if killer really wants someone out.
Free escape? They definetely are not but instead allow survivor to have chance. Sounds to me you are getting just outplayed.

Some games are bad but mostly I have been getting good amount of bp so I don't mind. If survivors really gets too frustating I can play just killer then and try again later.

While that's technically true, the killer is trying to win as much as possible and get as much BP as possible and by all accounts they should be getting a 4K but hatch can rob away a kill. It's similar survivors going back to save someone at endgame even though they have 3 out guaranteed or the last survivor hiding even though they already lost.
The majority of killers would much rather hook someone, then find the last. But since hatch is an unnecessary risk to lose a kill you otherwise would get, they don't. Instead they spend 4 minuets slugging to give themselves as much time possible to find the last survivor. Why would you not? Objectively speaking, there's no reason not to. If you find the survivor great, if you don't well you just end up in the same position as if you hooked the 3rd survivor anyway. It only beneficial to slug in this scenario. You'd be stupid not to if you want to win as much as possible or get as much BP as possible. Which are both things players should be expected to be doing.
For survivor you have to wait 4 minuets on the floor and wait 4 minuets as the one hiding for hatch. They would much rather not do that. But objectively the best situation is to hide and try hatch for similar reasons.
Both sides are in a situation where objectively the best thing to do is waste 4 extra minuets waiting around for an RNG mechanic to either rob a kill or gift an undeserved escape. The survivor on the floor is even worse in this position as they just have to wait 4 minuets just to die anyway. That sucks for both sides as clearly the survivors aren't happy and killers aren't happy with the situation either.
Both sides could just say "whatever" and give up the last kill/escape and move on but they don't. The killer slugs and the survivor hides. So we just end up with mutually ensured boredom.
All this happens why? Because of the hatch. If you personally think that's fine then that's your opinion, but the situation occurs because of the hatch.
As @Neaxolotl said, its a "win most" and "most victorious" situation.
You are actually wrong here on bp gain you probably lose lot of potential bp from prolonging the match that long always. The shorter the match the more efficient you are on bp gain. Let's just say match last 10 minutes when you don't slug you earn 200 000 bp now when you slug you earn 210 000 bp but match last 15 minutes which earns you more bp in long run?
Actually 3-4 minute match is best I had that kind of match where I had earned 100 000K+ but I decided give survivors second chance so purely from bp gain shortest match is the best and the match took then to end 10 minutes and I only got another 100 000K+. I would been smarter to end it there but im not fan of that short matches.
So that makes slugging in 2vs1 not smart especially when most of the time you get the 4K anyway. But when it comes to adepts, challenges and pips on higher grades then it's smart play because you need it and longer match is not problem. 15 minutes +2 pip is better than 2 × 10 minutes match for +1 pip. But otherwise you just waste your own and everyones time.
Hatch is survivor only comeback mechanic and it's fine if we remove hatch we need to rebalance the entire game. Killers already have many ways to make comeback survivors get only weaker longer the match last and less survivors there are left.

I could 4K all these games but I want to be nice and I don't need my mmr to be super high well probably it still pretty high as I did 3-4K majority of my games for almost 3 years. Im gold IV now so I probably have to do some 3K:s if I want to reach red grade.

I find it pretty good with mural sketch. It makes first frenzy hit bit harder so make sure you are close to the survivor. But legion has lot of other good add ons as well so I haven't used it lot.
Definetely if you want lot of bp it's good for that. I recommend you to test it yourself if you like it and take mural sketch increase movement speed by 0.3 m/s after each frenzy hit.

I mean if you care about your birthday party because you get free stuff and not because you get to spend time with your friends and family then that is kind of sad... I think what makes it special is the game mode and not the BP bonus, as there are many events with BP bonuses...
Like I said they are not really comparable. Let's just say cakes are the present and friends. Someone not bringing cake is like invited friend not showing up on your party.

How is that celebrating then? The point is the special event, event tome, event abilities, the changed visuals to match the occasion... I mean probably a lot of people only play for the bonus BP, but that's not really the point of it... That would be like saying you like going to other people's birthdays to get free food and not to actually celebrate their birthday with them...
I think game birthday is not comparable to actual person birthday that way. Because we as players get the presents and those are the cakes. Imagine your birthday and you get no presents... So I think main point of anniversary is the cakes and getting lot of bp and have fun.

I disagree with that.
Cakes are great items especially to show your participation in the event, but are not the main point of it. I would participate in the anniversary without cakes, tho it would not be full experience. But because of that I think people who don't participate with the cake should not get bonus from cakes. It's like this one guy on a party who havnt brought anything but ate the most...
Someone said that anniversary mode should have cake requirement and give one cake free. But I think cakes should be shared between all player characters
Well we have different opinions on that for me it's just the main point getting lot of bp and have some fun. Bp grind is what addicted me to this game so I would play much less if I get barely any bp.
I still say not getting any bonus without cake would be too much penalty. Because people can forgot and some people want to bring old cakes and bloody streamers as well. Maybe those bringing selfiss cake should not get any... But just reducing the extra anniversary bonuses would be enough.
I suggested that mode requiring cake so because it is requirement you should be able to always play so free cake would help for example if someone happens to have zero bp. Your idea is fine as well but it would reduce grind so I don't think it will happen.
