    No, I just remembered you had talked to me earlier but I couldn't see your comment. You were asking a general question and I answered. : P

    Eh. You could justify the recharge time as a way to balance the power of Feral Frenzy, but I take issue with the fact that if you miss a single swing, you lose the entire duration of the power.

    There doesn't seem to be any real reason why this has to happen. If BHVR is worried that Legions would just spam lunges when they're in a chase, they can always just increase the missed attack cooldown a little bit while in FF.

    Im not planning to start arguement here. Did i say something false?

  • @Monlyth said:

    ...And what they say about Legion is true. His power is fun to use, but held back by unnecessary drawbacks.

    Why does Frenzy immediately end if you miss a swing? It seems to serve no real purpose, other than kicking the killer when they're down. Imagine if the Huntress immediately lost all of her hatchets if she missed a single throw; that's Feral Frenzy.

    Why are so many of their add-ons garbage? Why do they encourage you to hit a survivor with Frenzy when they already have Deep Wounds? These add-ons deliberately encourage the Legion to gimp themselves by wasting a swing, and wasting precious time chasing a survivor that they can't down. Add-ons like Smiley Face Pin have no useful applications whatsoever for a good Legion player.

    Changing those two things should be a no-brainer.

    And the 20 seconds FF recharge time

    When you find your obsession, you have to initiate a chase and then lose the chase to gain one stack (5% extra speed at Tier 3 of PWYF). There will be a cooldown to getting the next stack. Doing this three times will give you 15% extra speed. This will make you impossible to lose in a chase since you are very much faster than survivors.

    The only way you lose tokens is by a hostile action, which includes: any kind of killer attack. However, Tombstone Moris aren't considered hostile actions, so you will never lose a token as long as they keep being mori'd.

    This means a permanent 15% movement for the entire game. I don't know how much movement speed is taken from you by the Tombstone addon, but PWYF clearly goes over that and gives you more.

    So you are @PistolTimb

  • @Tylerja1 said:

    This game is terribly unbalanced and pay to win 100% honestly even if you started with all unlocked character and skills it would still be unbalanced killer and survivors should be the same speed with a limited sprint or moving ability for the killer (survivors should be able to sprint too obivously)

    Pick up movement speed by about 25% for all characters and youd be good to go.

    What fun is there if the killer has the same speed us you? There will be No challenge

    If you are new then learn how to play better

    Hey, Im quite new to this game, but I played for like two months and I am dissapointed, that there are no rewards for climbing x rank. Just a piece of cosmetic would be nice, or just special add-on. They are coming with battlepass to already paid game but cant give us somthing for free? I dont know last time they announced free killer.

    Let's be patient, BHVR loves surprises

    Play With Your Food essentially nullifies the movement speed debuff. J's Tombstone is fine where it is.

    Do you know how PWYF works?

    Nope. Not a bug. It works. Try it out. It takes forever to reach T3... but once it does you have it for the rest of the match. Since both take a long time to get to T3 on their own... it makes it take a while, and you'll be slower 'cause of Tombstone.

    I think to balance Judith's, instead of greatly reduced mobility give it higher Terror Radius on EW2 and EW3 and just a little bit reduce mobility.

    I dont know why many hate Michael, because i think Spirit is more of a headache but fun and challenging to play against and it gives me the thrill. escaping,surprises and running away from it is fun.

    Challenge and Thrill is the fun factor of the game removing it is just like killing the game.

  • @Raven014 said:

    Um. No. I think Judith's is fine. You're forgetting what it's commonly put together with: Tuft of Hair. Which makes it last forever.

    The speed penalty can easily be overcome by PWYF, and you can keep those tokens easy since killing them isn't a hostile action.

    If anything, I think there should be a buff to how you can mori. Like you can mori them on the floor as well. That would get rid of it's one weakness: Lockers.

    Last Forever? Is that a bug? Or maybe youre exaggerating it so much?

    PLEASE, please start giving people a minimum of 30 minute time outs on their 3rd rage quit of the day.

    It's actually getting seriously out of control.

    I just had three games in a row where a survivor DCs then my fourth game the killer rage quits.

    BHVR is currently working for it

  • @edogast said:

    it's just not fun for the person getting hooked? It's too easy for the killer to just sit in a corner and wait for another survivor to come and rescue the hooked person. The worst part is that it always works for the killer, and they get heavily rewarded for camping, free hits, free kill, free chase, free hooks, free sacrifices.

    I'd say punishment for camping should be harsher, or reward killer for actually walking somewhere else

    Have you played against Bubba?

    Bubba means Camping LOL

  • @carters_spark said:

    i use him and i same amount of sacrifices as i would with any other killer and chases end faster

    From my experience I hate Bubba the most, almost everyone who plays him always goes with insidious and camping

  • Survivors and killers should already have the first 3 slots unlocked and the last one needs level.

    @Rezblaze said:

    This concept is so foreign to me.

    With the ranking system, you don't rank up as individual killers. And with how each killer plays so differently, its shocking nothing has been done about it yet.

    Why do I have to play a single perk killer with no addons at Rank 9? Its masochistic, I tell you, trying to level a killer.

    Similar issue with survivor. Without leveling, you're stuck

    This forces me to put time into other killers/survivors in order to get another in a decent and acceptable place... which is absurd, this shouldn't have to be the case. It prevents me from practicing and finding the optimal build or finding fun builds or me to try. Its a time sink.

    And yet, I have to get to level 15 before I can unlock a killer's full potential in terms of perk slots.

    Should we remove the level requirement for perk slots?

    The new players are pitiful

  • Add-ons will not fix anything, think about those new players who bought legion without perks and add-ons, they will instantly quit playing it

  • @joshuashep22 said:

    What do you think about a med kit that never runs out? Almost every survivor runs self care these days so as long as the killer isn't running Franklin's demise it is as good as an extra perk slot do you think the idea could work or do you think it would be too powerful?

    What did i just read?... Are my eyes fooling me?

  • @AetherBytes said:

    Just had a game where I had 3 hooks on the basement all had been sitting there a full minute after gates were powered, during EGC guy comes in, all of them instantly recovered with Adrenaline, making it impossible to down them again, and with the gate open I either hit them and go to slow to ever catch up, or just dont hit them.

    I get adrenaline is meant to be a stupidly OP perk, but ######### me it needs to expire at some point as a punishment for being on the hook when it triggers in the first place. If it expired, I'd at least get a well deserved 2k, but because of Adrenalines bullshit I couldn't even get 1.

    Adrenaline needs a nerf, full stop. Otherwise it's abused like this to open the gates and make it impossible to down them again, even if they were hit on the stairs, without NOED or the like.

    NOED

  • Added Mending requires 16 seconds to finish and it have a skill check

    hear me out..

    They said they want All stealth killers the same right?

    So EW1 = No terror radius but can be detected by spine chill and premonition.

    Does this also mean EW2 = No Terror radius?

    Because, he doesn't have a secondary power to be fully stealthy like the other stealth killers (Wraith has Bing Bong, Pig has Crouch, Ghostface has his stalk) So, Does this mean Myers won't be able to be heard until EW3?

    Because if not this will be a HUGE nerf to Myers.

    Cause in his current state before the PTB

    His terror radius is:

    EW1 = 6

    EW2 = 16

    EW3 = 32

    But now in the PTB

    EW1 = 0

    But he is now detectable with Spine chill and premonition.

    So my huge question up for discussion is this:

    Will we see his EW2 and EW3 Terror Radius decrease to compensate to his new unneeded nerf?

    (Example EW1 = 0, EW2 = 6, EW3 = 16)

    myers power is recycled resulting to ghost face, BHVR says Uniqueness.

    Atleast other stealth killers are unique, but this two is obviously........

    What if, the killer could set up the Hex totem on a Dull totem?

    -The killer can see Dull totem's auras around the map;

    -The Hex perks are not activated until the killer set the hex;

    -When the killer set the hex on a dull totem, it will emit an global sound;

    -Noed will still automatically set itself up in a existing dull totem around the map;

    -Haunted Grounds will also automatically set itself up;

    -If the killer wants, they have the option to not set a hex;

    -The killer will not get Dull Totem's Auras anymore after setting all the hex perks;

    -250BP in the Deviousness category for setting a hex. Note: you will not get rewarded for Haunted Grounds and noed automatically set themselfs up.

    I think this can fix the problem of "Bad totem spawns" at the start of the game.

    Do you mean ruin?

    I think DWs should stay in the terror radius, if you don't want the moonwalking Legion back. And you want to make their old Frank's Mix Tape base? I don't think this is a good way to go. He should be 15 % faster while in Feral Frenzy imo.

    Self mending still should be a thing tbh, it will be really frustrating to not find a teammate and die because you couldn't do anything to stop the timer.

    11 seconds is too much, make it 9 seconds maybe.

    The current ff is 10 making it 9 is a nerf

    No, I am listening. You want to make Legion's power, the thing that makes them unique, into something that just helps you put down ONE guy. No longer would you have the joy of FFing and going after each survivor and slashing them to move onto the next. No longer would you feel that rush of getting a 4 man FF. No more would you have ANYTHING other than "Slash.... oh there he is.... m1."

    No, it's bad and it makes them soulless. I understood 10000% what you meant. But what you meant I don't approve of.

    No you didn't get it, its just the same as the one last time that you liked but without deep wounds.

    no you don't get it. I don't mean hitting the same survivor multi times. I mean going after his friends AFTER hitting the first guy.

    Then they will not stick together making your power useless because you cannot down the first survivor that you found even if you hit him 2 times and you cannot reach and find the other survivors in time because they spread out all over the map and even if you found them they can pallet drop you on the head losing your power and putting it to cooldown again.

  • @UlvenDagoth said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/782823#Comment_782823

    I know that. But you are still taking away what is Legion about Legion. Don't you get that? The multi hitting and spreading the pain and running around. The "Rush Down" style... or more Blitz attack.... is what makes Legion Legion. This is just "M2 this man down and then hit him." it's not anything different or unique.

    Almost all killers are basic attack killers, the only reason why gameplay is different is because of the power, so it is different

    The reason why ghost face and myers have Almost the same gameplay is because they both having stalking function and exposed effect in their power and they are both using a knife making it more redundant, this is an example of not anything different or unique.

    Examples of some not basic attack killers are hillbilly and leather face they have different gameplay because they have different power.

    You cant go around saying This is just another basic attack killer it's not different or unique, Because almost all killers rely on basic attack to down someone, imagine the nurse can blink but she doesn't have basic attack function or the wraith can go invisible "cloak/uncloak" but it doesn't have a basic attack function making it unique but stupid at the same time

  • @UlvenDagoth said:

    Yes, I get what you are saying but I hate the Idea of Legion's power being turned into that. I'm sorry, but I can't support it cause it removes what I LOVE about Legion. I can not support something that will do that to Legion, as to me, it wouldn't be Legion anymore.

    if we dont want the legion to get nerfed to the ground again, we need to sacrifice and forget the old one to move forward to a better gameplay on both sides

    The old legion is broken in the survivors eyes they will surely demand a nerf if they bring the old legion back, I know that because i play both sides, bringing back the old legion will not fix things

  • V1.8.8 just a minor change

    Feral frenzy full cooldown from 30 seconds changed to 26 seconds

    Hitting a Survivor with basic attack while Feral Frenzy is Not Active will refill the power gauge by 1/3 of its maximum (power refill changed from 1/4 to 1/3)

    Feral Frenzy duration lasts for 12 seconds (duration changed from 14 to 12 seconds)

  • @The_Killer_Legacy said:

    In my opinion, Deep Wound doesn't apply much pressure to the survivor as it is now, BUT if they had to change something in Legion, I would say that Feral Frenzy attacks to go back as they were previously, every succesful frenzy attack will decrease the Deep Wound Timer, with all the hits after the first one ending the Feral Frenzy.

    Survivors would not like that though thats the reason why it got nerfed to the ground.

  • Cons of new feral frenzy

    Cons:

    -Fatigue after the duration

    -Fatigue after hitting

    -hitting once will end feral frenzy

    -Pallet drop can end feral frenzy

    -Long power charge time

    -Survivors' Scratch Marks and Blood Pools are hidden from The Legion's view

    •I will make some add-ons soon

    Sample:

    Reveal all the survivor within the terror radius (instead of the only one that got hit)

    Increase the fatigue time by 1 seconds (total of 3 seconds)

  • @UlvenDagoth said:

    Oh, then no, I don't like it. You are focusing on downing one guy... and to me that's not what makes Legion fun. Sorry man, but Legion needs to keep the uniqueness.... and this is NOT how you do that.

    Let me explain @UlvenDagoth

    This Legion gameplay is a lot different than what you think, you need to down one survivor quickly with playing mind games wisely After you hit him with Feral Frenzy because he is revealed and if you lose him find other survivors, another way to bring down a survivor hitting with basic attack then down the survivor with feral frenzy then hook him after that you need to find other survivors to hit them with basic attack because hitting with basic attack will fill 1/4 of the power gauge so in order to use Feral frenzy again you need to do that

    -Pre-frenzy cooldown 2 seconds and Frenzy power gauge charge time 28 seconds a total of 30 seconds(Half a minute) its a long cooldown and making the legion want to find more survivor to put his power to good use

    Quickly bringing down a survivor is not a tunneling so its safe, this feral frenzy will make the legion constantly search for survivors instead of camping

    I hate camping killers so I made this with that in mind

  • @M1ghtyM4x said:

    So killer mains will immediately disagree with me about this and that's fine im prepared for the backlash but hear me out. I played this game since beta. ive watched and been dismayed at how this game has transformed. I always agreed hatch should be able to be shut. Thats fine. egc being completely killer centric was not what i was promised but that's not the reason for this post. The problem i have with our current state is a bastardization of a game mechanice to the end that its almost a regular occurance and after a recent heated discussion with my last killer ive come up with a solution. Slugging is a problem in this game whether intentional or not it is. Devs have to have seen it by now and know that its existing and thats not ok. Survivors dont expect to escape every match no. But without a chance to escape from the start what's the point? As one by one survivors are killed your chances dwindle and being the last survivor is hard enough during egc but to be downed and left down is ridiculous you are being forced to stay in a game and not able to do anything. Thats not right or ok. If devs wanna punish people for dcing then give survivors a way out of a match where they are being slugged or and this is the part killers are going to have a problem with cause it is a way of building a mechanic into the game to counter slugging. Give survivors base kits unbreakable. remove it as a perk and just build it into all survivors. I bet killers would think alot harder about slugging at that point wouldnt they? The last killer was like well just run unbreakable. My argument is this... why should a survivor main have to spend a perk slot to counter a game mechanic being abused by killer mains? You dont have to run a perk to slug (yes you could run deer stalker to make it easier but with the sound improvements and stuff anymore killers dont even need it) so why should survivors being penalized for a game mechanic killers are abusing. Unless you are trying to intentionally ruin the game for survivors? Again this is not me being mad at dying I die enough during egc or against good killer mains (who by the way dont need to slug). Im upset that i have to sit on the ground for 3 - 5 minutes and either get picked up only for me to get slugged again and left on the ground or for the killer to kill the other person since we're not allowed to DC. Fix this or risk losing the already dwindling survivor base.

    Getting slugged is better than getting hooked because you can move and can be saved and recover.

    Getting hooked 3 to 4x is death when your teammates didn't make it in time or getting hooked then the killer will mori you after you escaped the entity

    Getting slugged is not as bad as getting hooked.

    3 survivors getting slugged at the beginning of the game? Blaming slugging Seriously? Atleast 2,3 or all of them must be newbies or bad players

    you are blaming slugging when your teammates are the one to blame

  • @UlvenDagoth said:

    Oh, then no, I don't like it. You are focusing on downing one guy... and to me that's not what makes Legion fun. Sorry man, but Legion needs to keep the uniqueness.... and this is NOT how you do that.

    Let me explain: @UlvenDagoth

    The power is use to focus one guy bringing him down, hooking him and finding other survivors to reduce the cooldown of Feral frenzy because it takes full 30 seconds to be able to use your power again, so you need to find other survivors and hit them because by hitting them it fill the power gauge of the power by 1/4.

    •The cooldown is half a minute (30 seconds)

    It will Bring a gameplay that will force the killer to find other survivors instead of camping

    You can down the running survivor very fast if you play mind games and outsmarting him because he is revealed and if you are not good at mind games and you lose him then look for the other survivors and if you luckily find him then hook him and search again

    it will not be called tunneling if you down him fast

    I hate camping and tunneling and I made this with that in mind

    I will make add-ons later, one will be:

    -Revealing all the survivors within your terror radius

    -increasing your fatigue time by 1 second

1 2 3 4 5 6
