I'm pretty sure Snares are limited too
Yes, snares are limited but the dream pallets are so very limited

I was thinking of a way to stop or at least suppress tunneling/camping and this came to mind.
I find that when I get tunnelled/camped, it usually the lower ranks, i.e rank 17-20, and I thought, since it’s new players, why don’t we put something in the tutorial of the game to tell new players that tunneling and camping is not fun to play against and how it’s also a bad tactic because people can get all the gens done while your camping. Show them a clip of someone getting tunnelled and/or camped or even better let them play a little against a CPU who tunnels and camps and show them how it’s not fun. And even let them play a bit of killer and tell them that they have to camp and can’t leave the survivor and show all the gens getting finished. Tell them how tunneling/camping is looked down upon in the dbd community.
P.S. I am not a salty survivor main I just want the community to be less toxic.
What i usually do is finish all gens open the gate flash the camper and teabag him at the exit, so that he will learn that camping is no good.

I don't mean to be the person who posts Truetalent, but he is how I heard about this build, and I have tried it for myself. Here's a link, he's been posting a ton of this playstyle of no-stalk ghostface for a few weeks now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk2zlugcWTQ
I can explain the logic to you: There is a clear benefit to just using the Shroud to Ambush instead of Stalk.
In both cases, the survivor gets an alert to run away from you, and will likely start running. In the case of simply using the Shroud to get a free hit, you have injured them so they're one-hit-down already, and you can apply perks that require injury. In addition, they're now easier to track and sneak up on a second time, and need to waste time healing. You can also peel off the chase at any time to pressure the map more, because you've already injured them and there's no way that injury is going away until they stop to heal, wasting time.
If you Stalk them, they have an increased window of time to notice you if they haven't already, and you simply expose them. That is, again, a big red sign to "loop ghostface for 60 seconds". If you fail to hit them within that time, you walk away with nothing and no time wasted. If they see you while you're stalking them, you lose a ton of distance and again, might walk away with nothing. The time-sensitive nature of Exposed means you can't peel off the chase whenever you want.
In both scenarios vs a typical survivor that has eyes it is far better to "cash out sooner" and simply land a hit on them while in shroud than it is wasting time stalking them for an uncertain, timed, telegraphed insta-down.
Using the Shroud mid-chase is a godsend for mindgames, as it means survivors can't track your red stain nor Terror radius, meaning they have a much harder time keeping track of you on loops. If you're getting pallet-stunned with night shroud, that's fine, because it's not taking away anything from you - you were just going to hit them with m1 anyways, you were just using Shroud to end the loop faster. Most of the time, however, the Shroud can basically ensure a successful mindgame on certain loops.
In terms of being "broken out" of your power, that's completely fine, because No-Stalk ghostface doesn't really care. If they can break you out, they already know where you are, which means that you're probably in a chase with them. It's not like you're going to get stalk on them anyways, so you lose nothing. Also, funny thing, most survivors tend to stand still or slow down to steadily reveal you, expecting you to keep stalking them. If you just run at them and m1 them, they'll usually give you a free hit trying to reveal you, if they're that kind of player.
Sprint burst is equally effective against Ghostface either way because he's an m1 killer? I don't understand this argument.
The point is that Stalking with nightshroud is in almost all cases above brown ranks inferior to simply injuring survivors. Being injured versus a killer who can stealth completely is very risky, and abusing ghostface's power to obfuscate survivor's perception is 9 times out of 10 going to be better than using him in his slow, stalky intended playstyle, especially in a game where the killer has no time to waste.
Agreed

https://youtu.be/xR9W3DX5kNk
"Ghost Face Vs Rank 1 players perfect game", watch this and you will understand how pro ghostface play against Rank 1 Survivors, and how mind games using ghost face can be useful.
using stalking against rank 1 survivor players is a waste of time and you will end up getting pallet drop until the exposed effect expires and the last thing you will see are rank 1 survivors teabagging you at the exit in the end.
I too never use stalking after I discovered the bad and undesirable quality of stalking feature of ghost face's power.

How about you explain to me what the idea behind this rework is? Like what is your goal?
My idea is To remove "deep wounds" effect and focusing on the new "Killing Instinct" mechanic and new effect "Killing Intent" to hunt survivors One by One a lot different from the pre-nerf Legion that can down 2 to 3 survivors in one Sprint.

@Auron471 said:
Start with the brown trapper sack addon as default.
Trapper can walk over traps without setting them off. Lunging and carrying survivors will still trigger traps.
All traps spawn closer to generators and all start opened.
Freeing yourself will also require a skill check that is 2x the size of DS. Survivors will only get the skill check if they succeed the RNG escape chance.
The same skill check is applied to disarming traps. Failing the disarm skill check will injured the survivor but still disarm the trap. If they are already injured, they are deep wounded for 20s.
Addon Changes:
Tar Bottle: Now called Tar and Chalk Bottle. Trapper can press E to swap from applying darkness and brightness (makes the traps more grey/white).
Log wood dye: Logwood dye and bonemeal. Same thing as before but weaker version.
Bloody Coil: Makes the disarming trap skill check 50% smaller and applies broken for 60s if the skill check is failed if the disarming survivor was already injured.
Make picking up traps less annoying b/c i placed a trap in a corner next to a window and when i tried to pick it back up, i couldnt b/c i just kept getting the vault window prompt. I even faced away from the window, still didnt work.
The only buff he needs is +1 more trap at the start of the game.

Yeah maybe slow are not neceasary but buff for reload or have one extra bottle is what are clown need. Also some map control any control
Increase the bottle throw speed a little And add 1 more bottle for the clown also we need to add 1 more trap for trapper
-
@UlvenDagoth check this out
-
@NitrosTropy said:
First of all buff the percentages of slow from gas from 15% to 20%.
The next is if survivor stay in the gas cloud , the longer he stay the percentages will increase from 20% to 30% max.
Increase his bottle by 1 more. Clown sometimes have a situation where he are almost to catch survivor but he can't since need to reload his bottles.
Next are . Survivor what are working on a generator sometimes they will get a clown face on a screen (like's from a doctor madness) they will blow up generator by 5% more and can't work on them by next 7 seconds (percentages and time for balance)
I think a problem clown is bottles sometimes makes him slower than slowing survivor so increased percentages are necessary. 1 extra bottle. And gen control by stopping someone while clown can't reach them.
15% initial slow increasing by 1% per second the longer the survivor stay in the gas cloud up to 20% is enough buff.
That 30% is overkill.
There is no need for more bottles use his add-ons.
Tips: don't reload in front of the survivor find the right time for it.

Those were just explanations at the bottom of how it would work. Oblivious does not do what I suggested.
Oblivious ONLY hides TR, and makes TR related perks not work for that survivor. Oblivious does NOT hide Red Stain, hide chase music(well maybe you could consider that it does considering all you hear is Freddy's Lullaby, and he's the only one aside from Demogorgon with oblivious, but this is basically replacing chase music/heartbeat), hide from Spine Chill or Premonition, etc etc etc. It does one thing.
Those perks have nothing to do with Michael though, and he generally doesn't even use them. Most Michael's use Monitor and Abuse(you wouldn't need to with this rework unless you were focusing on the obsession). Lore wise, they may have some merit, but in game you pretty much always see a Spirit with Haunted Grounds, a Pig with Surveillance or Make Your Choice, a Legion with Discordance, a Doctor with Monitor and Abuse, a Freddy with Blood Warden, a GhostFace with one of his perks(I don't have a problem with any of his perks personally except I'm All Ears), a Demogorgon with Surge, a Nurse with Nurse's Calling or Stridor, or both, a Bubba with BBQ, a Billy with Enduring, Clown with Coulrophobia or Pop or Bamboozle, etc etc.
How does your obsession not changing make anything more difficult, including builds? In most games your obsession will not change. Most people hate Furtive Chase, and while DS is possible, it's not like any perk is going to suffer by the obsession being the same. And as a character, Michael Myers doesn't randomly get obsessed with someone new. He focuses on one person(Laurie), and just kills anyone else in the way. If the obsession not changing would be problematic, there could always be a solution in addons with some other changes.
I just don't think Myers being able to kill whoever just DSed him is appropriate, and Furtive Chase wouldn't really work anyways because if he caught the obsession he might as well kill them, and by then Furtive Chase would be pointless because his TR is for all intents and purposes 0 to all other survivors.

I did explain how each mechanic works step by step. Each paragraph(or occasionally one-two line sentence) is a different mechanic. If I lumped any of that together, or separated it more, it would not be coherent at all. The only thing that isn't mechanics are the last two paragraphs.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/778533#Comment_778533
The similarities between GhostFace and Myers are pretty frustrating, and Myers is the most fun when you don't know where he's coming from. I got rid of both of those problems with one suggestion, and he even moves faster than he would have if he stayed in tier 1 with Scratched Mirror. GhostFace now is really better than Myers, unless for example, Myers is using infinite tier 3 or something extremely powerful and manages to get it off. He's even harder to see in general making him much more difficult to keep track of. Myers was also nerfed recently as Spine Chill and Premonition work against him now.
I think myers is fine

Pallets have no slow down but dropping the dream pallet can buy time for freddy to hit you once but the dream pallets as i said before it is limited, so you need to think about it and place your dream pallets wisely.

First, Is it not broken up enough? I separated his power into parts by how they work.
Second, yeah, his perks are not related to Michael at all. They're only affected by the obsession's existence, which the perks themselves create. Most other killers have perks related to them in some way. Michael's simply focus on letting the obsession live until the end with no real relation to that obsession for Michael himself.
Third, Oblivious only allows you to not hear TR music or heartbeat, or be affected by TR related perks. Unaware combines Oblivious and Undetectable, and also makes you unable to see the killer's red stain, hear chase music(meaning you don't even know when he's chasing you without seeing him), and cannot detect the killer through Spine Chill or Premonition. Also Oblivious makes it so that TR related perks do not work, this doesn't. Any TR related perk still works, the survivor just does not HEAR the TR or heartbeat.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/778133#Comment_778133
Basically, Michael can kill the obsession with one down, and cannot one shot anymore, but they can hear his normal TR, see his red stain, hear his chase music, etc. Any other survivor gets literally no indication of Michael's existence other than by seeing him physically. They cannot even see his red stain or hear chase music when he's chasing them. Oh and his obsession cannot be changed through perks(DS/Furtive Chase).
Look at some of my post and you will know how to simplify things better.

@BunnyTheHutt said:
No. This would make Legion OP, even worse then Old Legion. You'll literally have a free down every single time you use your power, every chase, every time.
A better idea would simply:
1: Not have his power drained on basic attacks.
2: Let Frank's Mixtape be base, and then keep the current Frank's Mixtape, so there is a reason too even use Mixtape.
3: Reduce the cooldown for ending frenzy, and increase the recharge speed of his power.
4: Rework Deep Wounds so it's actually a threat, my idea would be too have any survivor in Deep Wounds have -15% action speed too repair, healing, and sabotaging until healed.
Your idea is simply way too strong too be in game, you would make Legion better then Pre-Nerf Nurse and Spirit combined. And the idea of having Fatal Laceration is just Deep Wound's with a different name and a OP result for being hit twice by Feral Frenzy.
survivors almost always have have Self-Care and med kits and FF has a long cooldown.
think about it unlimited basic attack with no cooldown and lower FF Cooldown with faster recharging is more op as it will quickly end the deep wound and down 2 survivors in one run and quick recharging to chase again.
Flash light is also needed to undo wraith's invisibility and hags so its only fair to have self care and medkit to undo his effect and hillbilly can 1 shot you and you can't even heal dying state so why is that?
Read it all again and after you read it again what do you suggest that needed a change in my LIST then?
-

I'm very bored waiting for the survivors to show themselves in the hatch every match.
Also I don't understand they have a way to escape even no gens are completed.
Killer has no chance to sacrifice one survivor when all survivors are alive and the door is powered.
My opinion is that there is no need to change anything about that.
-
Can you simplify it? Its all sentence makes me hard to understand your point or how it works in this rework.
-
Soon the legion will not going to be a killer and join the survivors as a new survivor and escaping frenzy will be one of their perks😆😆.

I made this idea after watching ghostface players vs rank 1 survivors videos on youtube and playing both myers and ghostface.
On the videos that i watch they are only using stalking once to never in their games.

I think that any experienced player understands that the leatherface is weak, like a killer and has boring gameplay. Besides one tactic ... basement and using Insidious, it was always fun.
But what to do now? Every second survivor has a decisive strike and this tactic is not the same as before + everything complicates "Head On", but it is not so common. Of course, I could take pink mori, but they are not endless. Why do you need this killer now? You used to get a unique game experience, but now it's worthless.
How to solve this? It is necessary to make sure that the decisive strike does not act on the leatherface.
Increase movement speed when his power is activated is enough buff to make him better.

This makes him EVEN worse than he currently is and would just make him an M1 killer. The only thing that he'd be able to do now is remove his terror radius at will, which The Pig, The Wraith, and Freddy can all do. What would be the point? Just give Michael something different instead since stalking is Ghost Face's entire thing.

Shroud is that helpful in chases that it's actually arguably better to not bother with stalking, because stalking requires you to stand in place, not hit survivors and look for places to lean from. Ghostface's best add-ons reduce CD on shroud.

Yes, shroud is very helpful in a chase because you can easily do mind games with it.

Well, stalking is Ghost Face's entire thing in the movies too. He doesn't really have anything else that's faithful to the movies that can be turned into a power. Meanwhile, Myers has tons of things like his invulnerability, extreme strength, resurrections, etc.
just give the exposed effect to myers only.
Description "Ghostface vanish into the night" so his stealth power is perfect, ghostface can stalk his targets without the exposed effect.
Also what Myers doing is pursuing and locking on his target not stalking so i think its better that they will rename it to pursuit instead of stalk.
pursue means to follow and try to catch or capture (someone or something) for usually a long distance or time.
They should just improve his night shroud for a completely different gameplay and not giving him what Myers have "the exposed power effect".
There should be only one killer with the "exposed chase stab" power gameplay for uniqueness and to mention that they are both using a knife giving them both a Exposed Effect on their power is what we call Redundant.
Redundant means :repeating something else and therefore unnecessary.
Here is just my suggestion/opinion.
by activating night shroud he is on stalking mode:
Stalking mode:
- There is a delay of 1.5 seconds before stalking will commence.
- While Night Shroud is active, Ghost Face has no Terror Radius and emits no Red Stain.
- Performing hit or miss basic attack will deplete 1 Power gauge and will not deactivate Night Shroud.
- The Power Night shroud Has 3 power bars, you can activate night shroud by having atleast 1 power bar of the gauge
- Night shroud will recover 1 power bar after 12 seconds.
- Night shroud power bar will only recover when night shroud is not active.
- Survivors within a close proximity to Ghost Face can detect him by Looking in his Direction for a Complete 3 seconds even if they did not see him. This will deplete 1 power bar and automatically deactivate Night Shroud.
- Hold down the Power button while behind cover to lean out.
- Press the Active Ability button to crouch. Press it again to stand.
- Crouch Speed 3.8m/s
- The Ghost Face can be revealed by Survivors within a 30 meter range of him by looking at him for a complete 2 seconds and will deplete 1 power bar.
- Survivors need to see atleast 25% of Ghost Face's body to start revealing him.
- When Ghost Face is revealed it will trigger Peek A Boo.
- Peek A Boo - it will reveal the Survivor that revealed him for 5 seconds.
-
The reason why many are talking about freddy is because he is reworked and many are playing him and enjoying his new features after a month I guarantee that they will all get bored.
Yah he is seriously the hot spot topic now
To simplify it, many are calling him OP because:
Many are playing freddy and 9/10 of your games are against freddy, some lose againts him some wins but because he is the only killer they are currently playing some who suffers 2 consecutive loses against him in their 10 games will argue he is OP.
Here is my theory:
Think about it, playing againts different killers and lose consecutively from different killers, yah thats normal on the other hand if all of your games you play against the same killer because he is still the hotspot topic now and many are playing him and you lose consecutively, how is that different?
It doesn't change the fact that you lose too much than winning.
About a month ago they are saying Ghost face is OP but now look no one even mentions his OP.
People are exaggerating about new things because they still don't know anything about it or how to play against them.

So he can create illusions like Doctor or Slow you down with snares like clown, Teleport to any Gen worse than Nurse and he's got the biggest lunge attack than any other killer!
so instead of making survivors becoming oblivious, shouldnt you put a reason for him not to place a hundred snare during the chase other than to close down a loop!
Nurse teleport works in different way than freddy. 100 snares and fills the map with snares youre exaggerating things.
Hillbilly can one shot a survivor and is better than freddy in both map pressure and bringing down survivor yet hillbilly is balance and no one wants to nerf him because he is fine the way he is, but why nerf freddy?he have a terror radius, He cannot one shot you and you can stun him with pallets, run away from him and wake yourself up or find help.
If you can't never run away from freddy's chase after 5 games playing against freddy it shows how _ _ _ you are being a survivor.
I can understand if you are playing the game with no offering,add-ons and perks, yah not having those and you will certainly lose.

so instead of making survivors becoming oblivious, shouldnt you put a reason for him not to place a hundred snare during the chase other than to close down a loop!
Put a penalty on freddy's snare just like the hag but the game will start with everyone is asleep how is that for compensation.😆😆😆

Ok, am i the only one that thinks that Nightshroud does help him in a chase?
As a survivor he is not easy to deal with, it will surprise you.
As the ghost face i have the myers feels when using it
As a Legion main the game abandoned us soon we will join the survivors 😅🤣🤣
Imagine Legion being one of the survivors how sad is that he quitted from being a killer.
