Do I virtue signal, and if so, what do I smell like?
I suspect you already know the answer to that question.

Not how burden of proof works. You made the claim first that they are pretending to have an issue. Therefore, it is on you to prove that this statement is true.

Until you can objectively prove that they are lying (not that they are incorrect in their belief, but that they are LYING), then your observation is wrong.

out of sheer curiosity, why do you believe people are being disingenuous about their issues with NFTs?

I never said whether or not I have an issue with NFTs in this thread. I merely called out your objectively wrong observation.

"If I said the moon is made of potatoes and spaghetti, and someone claimed it wasn't. Would that mean they are wrong to challenge me just because I said it?"
No, they would be very much correct in challenging you. Much like how I am challenging your incorrect claim that we don't have an issue. Cool, glad to know that you agree with me.

You actively stated "We don't." That is objectively incorrect based on the people in this thread who very clearly do.
-
@TAG said:

Fair. It is demonstrably false because there are people in this very thread who do have issue with NFTs, which actively contradicts your claim that we don't have issue.

This is a non-sequitur. All I said was that your claim that "we don't have an issue with NFTs" is objectively and demonstrably false.

People complain about the NFT situation, but its not enough to make most people stop playing.
I dont think that the "energy cost" argument works very well either, as it doesnt really make a whole lot of sense, due to people buying energy from energy companies. By this logic, people should be upset at the energy company for selling the energy, not the user.
In truth, the only thing that is actually negatively affected, is bhvrs reputation, which they clearly dont care about anymore since they "stayed the course" on this NFT thing.
Exactly.

I don't think the game designers are aware at all how weak survivors are. Survivors have gotten so discouraged from the lack of hope and oppressiveness of killers such as Blight that nobody tries. I just played against a Blight with the same meta build and everyone fell to the floor because they knew they couldn't win. From a distance all I saw was 3 on the floor near a hook. I left my gen and of course it regressed to nothing.
MMR is partly to blame because killers treat the game now like a critical job rather than a fun game. If they don't get a 4K, the world is going to end. At 5 gens, the killer stood there and watched me on the hook in case I kobed while another person bleed out on the ground. I proudly wasted his time by not trying to kobe. The survivors clearly gave up but this killer showed no mercy at all.
MMR is not working, matches never feel like a 2E possibility. It is too difficult to get 5 gens done against the killer meta.
Another thing that would help survivor morale is to always allow a survivor to escape without a killer outright denying it. Why do killers have ability to slug and prevent the hatch from appearing? How was this even allowed? If this was fixed, there would always be "Hope" and the survivors would try to see what happens in what might be impossible wins. There needs to be more incentives to try to survive in matches that seems to be completely lost.
I don't know but this should be the highest priority of the game designers. A match should always have a possible win outcome. Matches are not a game when one side doesn't try because the match is so lopsided in favor of killers.
I'm loving how fun it is to play survivor now I've switched from Killer Main. So many pallets, Boons, weak killers and awesome perks. It's most enjoyable toying with the killer. And dare I say it.... kinda easy.
It's so fun, and I always escape. Now I understand why the game has been tilted to be survivor sided. Long may it continue.
-
Recently abandoned killer to play survivor more. Solo. Its so easy it's great. Pallets, Boons, weak killers and sweet perks. Even solo I'm loving giving killers the runaround
-
All maps now have so many pallets. Survivor is so easy it's laughable. I've started playing Survivor more and loving how easy it is

Try playing soloQ survivor. It will change your world.
Solo queue survivor is like drinking a nice glass of banana milk compared to playing killer.

virtue signaller (plural virtue signallers) (neologism)ย Somebody who engages in virtue signalling.
I swear to ######### god.
Wondering if you agree, or if you are just trying to be clever. Can't decide

I thought if you're a killer you're not supposed to be a joke but a killer that hangs or murder survivors? Why the ######### can survivors do dumb ######### like teabagging at exit gates and have hit validation dead hards with a cocktail of obnoxious flashlights and 4 SWFs? And don't talk to me about the cheaters there's already too many of them to count.
I support killers face camping and especially if they use leatherface. Don't give up killers face camp the ######### outta these fools.

Once they've finalised how badly she's getting nerfed.

Bubba thanks you.

Have Boons been nerfed yet?

Because survivors are terrified that they might not be able to bully a killer at last.

I find getting sacrifices and winning fun. Therefore I play Bubba.

Got no problem with people playing how they want. All I said was that this post would get the usual excuses of why people camp, which it has and I was proved right.
If people want to camp then they can and like I said, my advice to survivors is to just do gens. If a killer wants to camp and get one hook and one kill, then leave with three escapes and little to show for it they can. No skin off my nose. I will happily carry on not camping and getting 3 and 4 kills, or even losing and getting more blood points and pipping up, or play survivor, doing gens with no interference and then escaping with no worries. If I am the unlucky person to get camped, then my teammates will know just to leave me and I will waste as much time as I can.
Fair enough. My apologies.

Here we go again. Another post full of arguments.
Killer - I camp because I cannot chase survivors, they are too powerful, they can loop, drop pallets and vault windows. They do gens too quick, even though I have so many perks to slow them down, one shot them and stop them leaving when they have five gens.
Survivor - I do gens because the killer is too busy camping. I don't want to leave a teammate on the hook, it's not fair on them. I try to lure them away but they just stand there.
I worry about the DBD community. I have seen killers use this usual excuses of why they camp. Some say it's at low levels, some say it is at high. I play killer quite a lot and never camp, yet I get 4 kills most games, the ones I lose I get plenty of hooks and have fun. I have seen streamers and Youtubers online, who do play at high level that do not camp, so personally I see no reason to camp unless you are not too great, in which case practice. Stop camping and learn the maps, learn the loops, learn how to play mind games, to drive the survivor where you want them to go, to force them to drop pallets early in the game to help you later.
For survivors it's the same advice that is always, you have to sacrifice and just do gens. You will not change the way these players think, you can argue to truth till you are blue in the face. You just have to face that there will so games where somebody will spend the whole game on the hook.
Or, just let people play how they want.

I know what I'm talking about the killers have so many advantages some Killers like nemesis have zombies helping them make kills so I'm not being soft I guess everybody that plays this game is soft to then because everybody complains about it so it must be a big problem don't call me soft all the name calling is childish

This thread definitely proving how easy it is to waste the killers time, with loops, pallets, gens and hold w. Thanks for all the confirmation.

Every. Single. Time. It takes barely any time to snuff out. For the most part, they aren't worth running. You waste more time trying to keep one up on a totem than you would just using self care.
So why are they meta? I see two survivors at least with them every game. They are OP and need to go.

Camping isn't a problem because somebody thinks it's a strong strategy... it has more to do with taking a player hostage and not allowing them to play.

Pretty sure they can't change that
All area of effects apply multiple floors. If boons only worked on single floors then terror radius and doctors shock would also only work on one floor unless they made a completly new code for boons.
There are easier ways to fix boons. If they even need to be fixed at all.
They do.

And then when you m1 survs in endgame, you realize there is no totem standing for a NOED to activate. :P
Chainsaws are easy to dodge most of the times.
Not when I'm playing.

So I've thrown seven games in a row. Right in the beginning, I can always tell, two hooks and no gens down? It's a loss. I can always smell when we're going to get crushed, that way I don't end up humiliating myself trying.
So what are basic tips for survivors that I should know about? I already know "don't suck," and I haven't been good at following that one. I'm an awful looper, and the only thing I'm really good for is gens.
Tips?
Do Bones.
