Wraith has to ring bell which gives survivors time to run away, so he's not very good as ambusher, while Ghostface attacks immediately once he's close enough.
With coxcomb clapper, Wraith's bell becomes silent. With another add-on for wall hacks at 6 m/s, I think his speed buff will make him pretty good.

Definitely Blight. Especially since everything before his announcement indicated that the alchemist was going to be Virgo, and then it was just some other guy. I get more of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde feel than an alchemist that has been experimenting on the other killers. Not to mention that only one of his add-ons even indicates that he experimented on any of them. Granted, I can't think of anything that would both make more sense and work within the confines of the game, but I don't know, maybe if there was some kind of effect base kit that happened to the survivors after a slam that gave off more of an experiment gone wrong feel than what we have.

Finally a solution to Dwight working on a gen instead of letting me, who has we'll make it on my build, heal them.
But what if he has Resilience, and repairs faster while injured?

I think the drawback should in the other direction. Healing someone performing another action incurs a 40%/35%/30% speed reduction to healing them.
-
Idk. I hate it when people do that, so I tend not to camp. If a survivor frustrates me, I give 'em an additional slap after hooking them and move on.

Yes but barely as it was mostly addons
Nurse had charges applied to her base kit and 1 blink removed from her maximum. Though, yeah, I think Spirit was just add-ons and a vaulting animation.

Didn't Nurse and Spirit already get nerfed?

There's clearly something that bugs ppl about the trickster and he's very different from the other killers. Some ppl might point at the tricksters clothes, hair, attitude or whatever. Others have rightfully pointed out reasons why that doesn't make sense.
Personally, I think the "problem" with the trickster is that he feels like just a normal villain. Not a horror killer. There's a reason why ppl memed hey look pagan min is in this game or said he reminds me of the Joker. Don't get me wrong , they're good characters. They're scary if you met them irl, have horrifying lore and brutally kill people but you should understand why ppl think they don't belong in dbd. It also opens the door to having other villains in the game.
I mean...have you seen Deathslinger? He's just a guy with a gun. He doesn't even feel like he'd fit into a horror film. More like a villain from a western. At least this guy fits into east Asian horror tropes. Aside from ghost stories, of course.
-
I would only like it like that if it lasted a few seconds longer and triggered regardless of TR. Hell, I don't think it should be reliant on TR anyway, because it means a Freddy can camp and hit someone coming in for the save and make them oblivious then just tunnel. Or Wraith can camp while cloaked and just uncloak as their getting unhooked and just hit them afterwards with no risk.

I should have chosen "updated" or "adjusted" instead of "nerfed", my bad.
But nothing changes about these add-ons being still pretty useless... Which is kinda sad.
Yeah, I know... But at least they're meme worthy now. Still not worth it, but not quite as worthless. Actually fun...sometimes. I think fmt should more drastically change how Legion plays.

Stab Wounds Study and Frank's Mix Tape were nerfed with the update to Deep Wounds tho, it now reduces the Deep Wound timer by 3 seconds, not 5. (And Frank's Mix Tape by 5, no longer 7.5)
That doesn't really count as a Nerf though, because 10 seconds were cut from the total Deep Wounds timer. Frank's Mix Tape and Deep Wounds Study were adjusted accordingly. The numbers may be less, but together, they used to bring the timer down to 17.5 seconds from 30, but now it brings it down to 12 from 20. Its still pretty close, percentage wise, but 12 seconds is still not really enough time to do anything. 17.5 was enough time to fully heal someone before needing to mend.

17 seconds, they nerfed frank's mixtape and stab wound study when they reduced deep wounds to 20 seconds.
Pig's add-ons are so bad.
Amanda's Letter could've been really good. 12m aura reading while crouched is really nice but you get rid of half your power to use it. Wraith has the same add-on but it has no deficit and is a rarity lower.
Rule Set no.2 is useless the majority of the time since it only ensures the timer will start before they start searching boxes. If you want head pops, tampered timer and Sketch or Crate are more reliant. Do you know what survivors do half the time? pop gens while survivors are on hooks, which does the same thing as Rule Set no.2 without taking up an add-on slot.
Frank's Mix Tape and Stab Wound Study are percentage based. Kind of. If you're using both and manage to hit someone twice, the timer is bumped down to about 10 seconds.

Both of Nurse's Ultra Rares are basically straight downgrades to her power, the advantages they give do not even remotley make up for the downsides.
Shape's Judiths Tombstone is also really, really bad.
Hag's Waterlogged Shoe disables her ability to teleport in exchange for basically making her a really, really, bad version of Clown.
Bubba's Carburettor Tuning Guide basically makes him into old Bubba, which is not a good thing in the slightest.
Pig's Amanda's letter almost entirely removes her RBT & Boxes in exchange for giving you very short-range aura reading that only works while crouched.
Plague's Iri Seal massively nerfs her Corrupt Purge... in exchange for giving her Corrupt Purge whenever a Gen is completed, something she has zero control over.
Demo's Red Moss massively increases the cooldown of his teleport in exchange for giving a few extra seconds of Undetectable after teleporting, which is utterly pointless since the teleport makes a global sound cue and Demo still makes big stompy noises when Undetectable
That's not even to mention all the awful V.Rares, Rares, Uncommons, and Commons that either are:
A) So niche that they might as well do nothing
B) Have very minor upsides in exchange for big downsides
C) Are just straight downgrades.
Unlike Killers, Survivors dont really have any addons that are just straight, unambigious downgrades. BNPs are some of the best addons in the game..
If you think BNPs are even remotley close to being the worst Ultra Rares, then you really need some more perspective.
Red moss makes Demos undetectable status, like, 30 seconds long.

Killers.
Frank's mixtape and Stab wounds study - These two share the same problem instead of repeating myself I'll tackle them at the same time. They're relics of the past they were disgustingly strong with old legion's kit but with new Legion's kit it's just counterintuitive trying to make these work is actively throwing the game.
Amanda's letter- honestly this add-on isn't terrible I just feel like you lose more than you gain either increase the Aura reading range or add more of a benefit to the ambush and that's pretty much it.
Amanda's secret- This pretty much doesn't help it's mean advantages just basically going to be helping you go off the people who just got the trap off which is a waste of time. It's a tunnel me hard add on and nothing else.
Hellshire Iron - honestly what will you guys thinking with this. Deathslinger is naturally small terror radius doesn't help this also coupled with the fact that it looks your camera makes seeing of a survivor.
Pyramid head I'm not naming a specific ultra-rare because both of them are terrible. The torment mechanic is not consistent enough to make seal of metatron useful especially when triggering its effects also gives a potential of removing torment from two different people.
As for obsidian goblet you do not have the freedom with your torment trails to make this add-on worthwhile
I'm also including the status effect trail of torment add-ons it is not consistent enough for it to be very rare worthy ( either include the punishment wave into these effects or at least let the punishment wave apply torment)
Leprose lichen- stop adding aura reading effects to conditional add-ons that lock the camera. This addon not only requires you to have people injured but also requires you to hope to god that you just happen to be facing the direction because you can't change your camera.
Red moss demo is a killer with way too many loud sound cues and global notifications this makes it incredibly easy to know when you need to be on guard if you want to go stealthy there are better people to do it with. First of all reduce the volume of the sound cues and maybe remove the global notification and then get rid of the unnecessary penalty to your recovery speed.
Fuming mixtape - now entering killer instinct no longer removes your aura reading ability this addon has gotten a lot better but it is still under a time to effect unlike Wraith who has the same add-on but can use it endlessly
Survivors
There's only really one thing I need to complain about odd bulb why is this still an ultra rare add-on I legitimately getting more you set of shining my spooky flashlight at the wall and hoping a killer won't kill me because of my wacky personality
I actually kind of like using Stab Wound Study with Nasty Blade. Now that the Deep Wound timer is 20 seconds by default, this lowers it to 15. Decent slow down. At least meme-able now.
-
Might have something to do with the fact that on Console those are the only killers that come with the game. Every other killer is DLC.

Just because you don't suffer from the same bs that BHVR causes as the rest of the people in the community, doesn't mean people who bring it up in a place which is SUPPOSED TO BE for feedback which is ignored, are liars.
Thanks, DWolfAlpha for bringing explanations and calmly disagreeing. It is probably a ping issue, but that issue wasn't nearly as bad before the update, and it wouldn't surprise me if the new, probably unoptimized hitboxes are broken. If the hitboxes weren't changed, that means Survivors hitboxes are mostly behind where they actually are, which could also lead to this problem.
I had considered the idea of the hotbox being a touch behind as well. But I've noticed that the issue of the game stuttering has extended from whenever a status effect is applied to just whenever it feels like it. I still have to play survivor though since the update, too. Maybe it'll look very different, and my opinion will change.

Seriously what is going on right now, does anybody know what the reason for the heavy Ds and OoO Nerfs (Not "Change") are?
And no a "Killer don't like it" dosen't count. If there is not only ONE good reason for that, then they should go back right now.
I hope they know that the majority of players against the Ds change. Do anyone know what the Devs said about that (the reasons)
@Sluzzy should we leave the game?
Thank you for you opinon @Sluzzy I will copy it here so everyone can see it. Hope it's ok for you.
Sluzzy wrote:
"When I first heard of the news yesterday and read a picture of the perk description, I immediately thought it was a prank because it was clearly written by a killer main. It was written exactly how killer mains want it. I had to go watch a vod of the stream to confirm it was true because I couldn't believe it was being nerfed yet again and in a way that killer mains precisely want it.
It is not about how it was nerfed that is important here, it is why it is nerfed. Decisive Strike was not nerfed because of balance reasons. The devs never said the perk was too strong, they strictly talked about the fun factor for specifically one side. It was nerfed because killers didn't like the perk. Killers demand to be totally in charge of their opponent and always oppressing them. DS doesn't win the game by having it equipped, it made the experience playing that side a little more bearable. It was a "fun" perk to use but at the same time a "required" perk to use because despite the rhetoric from the killer side, tunneling is the most effective way to win the game. I know because I play killer as well. If I want to win, I can tunnel someone out of the match and there is nothing that team can do. If it is a SWF team, they'll do anything to help their buddy and then it throws the match. I've seen it from both sides since the game released.
With deactivation conditions which I've said on this forum numerous times which the devs have chosen to ignore, a killer can stop chase after a survivor has been unhooked and if they find that survivor with nurses calling, THEY ARE TUNNELING. The perk is useless. They can work on the objective and thinking they are safe, the killer can stop chasing and return to THAT SURVIVOR and TUNNEL. The perk is useless again. A ghostface can hide, wait for the unhook, wait for the survivor to heal or touch a gen AND PROCEED TO TUNNEL, the perk is again useless.
This perk was nerfed for the benefit of one side at the cost of the other side for not balance reasons, but strictly FUN reasons. It has been nerfed at least five times.
So to answer your question, if you are a survivor main or play solo or duo, then you should definitely quit. This side has been nerfed constantly and consistently for five years with total disregard to mechanics freely given to killer that can make this side miserable to play. Instead of nerfing DS, more perks should be buffed to even discourage its use to help against unfun mechanics. Why couldn't Discordance be buffed instead of nerfing DS? Keep in mind, Infectious Freight on Nurse, Spirit, Oni, Billy are all still a thing, Infectious Freight has never been nerfed, keep in mind it can be abused to cause the survivor side to be miserable. The devs and killers think this perk is healthy, obviously, for the game. An insidious camper can still camp with NOED. A bubba can camp someone in the basement and there is no possible out, a killer recently BUFFED! The devs think this is healthy, obviously.
For me personally, I can not wait for Back 4 Blood, I've been thinking about that game a lot since it was announced and this nerf has made me even more excited and can't wait. Guess the best part is of B4B? Characters will not constantly be nerfed in that game, it will constantly improve. When you enjoy something in that game, you won't have to worry about something being taken away from you. Especially after you bought it."
Honestly, I think it should have just been deactivated in exit gate. Sure, it can be abused in some situations, but that was the only one that just felt stupid to me. As it is, if I knock someone down that just got off the hook, i pick them up just to check for DS, then drop them back down.

The title pretty much says it all. We've said why it is objectively worse in any measurable way:
Icons are spread to far, Icons are in the way of FOV, less intuitive icons for downed, it adds nothing despite these changes, etc etc.
I am yet to see anyone actually give a reason FOR these changes. The closest I've seen is "its not that bad" or just the blanket "accessibility". Am I missing something? Why is this mandatory change being made if no one has a reason to implement it despite the majority of the community hating it, and the minority being just indifferent?
My girlfriend hates running obsession perks as killer because she has trouble keeping track of the obsession. She likes the new changes cuz it makes it easier to keep track of them.
I like having the hook counter because I have trouble remembering how many hooks I've gotten. As survivor, sometimes I've gotten saved from the hook right as I went to second phase, and wasn't sure if I still had a hook let or if I was dead on hook. The new HUD tells you, and that can be helpful.

I think he's mostly fine, I honestly think all they need to do for Bubba is make it so that when he breaks a pallet with a chainsaw, his animation takes a bit longer. Right now he can break a pallet with a saw and move like immediately after which gets a little nutty.
I think he needs to either be slower or have less maneuverability with his chainsaw. I think it's insane that he can turn on a dime and even back up using his insta-down at 5.2 m/s
-
The only killer I feel should be slower is Bubba. He has an insta-down with Legion speed and maneuverability.
-
Fatal Frame. I'd love for, like, Miku and the Kusabi to be playable. I haven't the slightest idea how that would work, though.
-
These are a. It overpowered. The numbers either need to be lower, or they cannot stack with any other perk that grants similar bonuses. Just whichever is higher.
-
When I first started to play, I didn't know that there was a tutorial. I just read the killer section of the how to. So I didn't know about the killer's terror radius or red stain until I tried to play survivor like a month later

Legion - Speed add-on.
Would it be interesting to have a speed increase during frenzy? Seems like ppl would only use this add-on above all, but other killers have the same issue.
Trapper - Aura reading add-on
Plain and simple. See the auras of survivors for a few seconds or during the action in one of the situations: Disarming trap, after escaping trap.
Any thoughts?
Hmm. Well, Legion originally had speed add-ons. I believe they were...the pins? I can't remember. It was either the first 3 pins, or the first 3 tapes. I guess they felt that they were OP, as they changed them and brought Legion down to 5 m/s in FF until about a year ago.
Trapper perk idea...hmm. Maybe. It does seem interesting. Or maybe make them exposed for like 15 seconds when they disarm a trap. Thing is, these would have to either purple or iridescent, so what would you have them replace?

Its a cool name dont get me wrong, but how was it named? Is it a refreance to something or does it have something to do with the deathslingers story?
So a deadman switch is a switch that requires you to hold it down. Releasing the switch activates an an action. For instance, when fueling a plane, you squeeze the deadman to pump fuel. When you let go, it stops fueling. So, in this case, when the perk is active, it triggers whenever someone lets go

Boringslinger, Spirit without soundbug, Clown my eyes&brain or old legion… maybe twins
Deathslingwr is fine. Maybe think harpooning someone during the unhook aught to count as a hit and let the unhook finish, but otherwise fine.
Against a spirit, just play hide and seek like the game was originally designed for.
Twins... idk. You get a notification when Victor is sent out, but... they're new. Need some more time to form an opinion. The idea is good, maybe more fine tuning.
I liked old Legion, exploits aside. I miss the speed add-ons at least. Their good now, but...meh. I didn't really play survivor then, so I really can't say anything to that effect.
My point is, you not being good against a killer doesn't make that killer OP. You didn't even mention Bubba, with a Fast-as-Legion insta-down with full movement control.

I agree they needed a nerf. Most people do. But now if you down someone that you can Mori, and there's a hook right next to them, it's faster to just hook them.
It's the equivalent of only being able to use a key to open the hatch after the exit gate is open. They're already going to die, why bother?
And skill? It takes no more skill to tunnel someone twice than it does to tunnel them once.

My main beef with Legion is losing part of your FF bar is you land a basic attack. Like #########? Why am I losing the ability to use my power if I land a normal hit?
It's a hold over from og Legion. You used to be able to use FF at 25% charge, and Frank's Mix Tape was base. Basic Attacks used to deplete your power entirely.
-
Your first one has been suggested many times over the last year and a half. I doubt it'll be implemented.
The second one requires an ai of sorts, and balancing them to useful but not overpowered regardless of survivor skill is almost impossible.
Iri pin as base personally I think would be too overpowered.
Honestly, I think they should remove the penalty to missing attacks in frenzy and remove power drain on basic attacks. Also, they need to rework Frank's Mix Tape entirely.

Dude, they get punished for just using their power. It's quite easy to get them to hit a wall and blow their power without getting a hit, and their cool down gives you plenty of time to run away. They're entirely reliant on their build. Perk-less Legion is painful to play.

And yes, I know, keys are OP as well...but at least you have to endure a big portion of the match to even be able to use them. But a Mori? Sorry, but nothing screams small PP more than the brown little offering at the start, that doesn't turn around.
So, I completely understand and endorse everyone to either hit AltF4 at the loading screen or suicide on first hook, whenever there is a Mori in the game. Makes the scummy killer waste his offering and just feels OH SO DAMN good!
Honestly, I think Cypress moris are fine, ivory moris should trigger one Mori after you get 4 hook scoring events, and ebony moris should allow you to Mori survivors once the exit gates are powered. This would prevent killers from tunnel morying people while still reflecting their rarities.
