Would it be possible to do something similar to the Hell Ember from Identity V?
Maybe Frank could have the other members of the Legion be kinda like sentries that can detect other Survivors and maybe even do simple chases against them? Maybe have each of the other Legion members do/specialize in something different?
I think it would be good to have something like that yes, it may require lots of programming but I like it.
Even the idea of having a second legion ready to go is nice.
You have your main with your regular perks and a second legion you can switch to, without hex perks and without repeat perks.
It would make sense for the Legion, also good for map pressure

I got a dumb idea for the rework. How about he can summon other legion for a few seconds? It could be OP but if it's a split second it could work.
I think their power should revolve around being more than one, so yes that makes sense.
I don't understand why the power of "the Legion" is to run a bit faster lol
-
Legion right now is an unfunny, boring a day weak killer.
The power is dull, like an inbuilt thanatophobia, killer instinct was nerfed when Gf was introduced.
They need a total rework, if vaulting and jumping on pallets doesn't really work, they need to come up with something completely new.
-
I would love a rematch function! yes please :)
-
I agree complete rework, the old Legion was full of issues and they needed to change it, BUT the way they changed them was wrong, too many unnecessary nerfs that made the killer unfun to play, boring and weak.
They need to redraw Legion completely, they messed them up and they need to give us a decent killer, not op, but viable and fun. See the new Freddy as an example, decently viable, with an interesting power
-
I find yamaokas grass to be more offensive to the eye than corn, but yeah limiting the killer's view is a low blow

@DBDbuildsYT I know right! XD What was I thinking LMAO! I really hope we get the glow in the dark green mask.
At least he would look good, I love to play Susie with the neon weapon and mask haha

It is incredibly silly that a stealth Killer does not have any stealth outfits but this is my favorite one so far for him. I have a P3 GF so if I want to not be seen as much I wear that or the slicker but it would be nice to have 1 outfit that is made purely for stealth and not flash. I don't know, it can be still be flashy and stealthy it IS POSSIBLE.
I think I love this outfit so much because of Friday the 13th Jason Goes To Hell, the cover gives Jason a Chrome mask but he doesn't have one in the film and that really disappointed me so at least Ghostface has one now, so beautiful.
Why would he have a stealth outfit when that could be seen as frustrating for survivors? Not being frustrating is the new rule of designing killers

The one thing you should do is never underestimate the opponent, now I don't play very much of Legion due to the fact I hate his design and find his power boring
But if your playing Legion then Thana is enough as Legion's power is designed to keep everyone injured
I suggest you to try the new Legion, I think it's really underwhelming

Going for Thana and Butcher isn't necessary. If survivors are group healing each other that's only going to cut off a few seconds and generally if they are using self care you actually want them to be healing continually as that's 30 seconds they could be doing gens
If you apply too much of a debuff, competent survivors are just going to do gens and wait for someone to heal them. In regards to pressure Your goal should be to have one person hooked as much as you can, if you simply keep them all injured that's not enough to keep them from doing generators, competent and average survivors are comfortable being injured and will just keep committing to gen repair. Now it's good to have everyone injured and I try to myself but devoting two perks just to that is a bad idea
Run Save The Best For Last
Yes the last perk was stfl, and I don't think my survivors were that smart to consistently do group healing. I think the issue is that when you double hook everyone with a bad killer like legion you waste a lot of precious time
-
I am also playing without ruin but using pgtw plus sloppy butcher and thanatophobia to slow down the game, this is with legion.
Despite this setup, even in matches where I keep the whole team injured for the majority of the match, I still struggle to win, unless i tunnel.
Most matches are 25/28k with 1/2 kills and most f the time 7/8 hooks
This is green/purple ranks on ps4
-
We also need trapper vacuum, if you pass within 3 meters of a trap while spamming L1 you should grab the trap directly.
Also, two traps base up to 4 with stiched bag and the possibility of resetting on the floor.
With these changes trapper would improve a lot
-
No matter who the killer will be, they will be mid tier with a long cool down and counterplay.
I bet on this
-
I agree and I would also buff brutal strength like +30% breaking action and 5% gen regression or something like that.

The FoV is the same actually, what changed was the killer-cam PoV: the camera is literally further forwards than it's supposed to be, meaning survivors can stand underneath it and it will clip into their heads if the killer looks down.
That has been the case since Patch 1.4, when the game was updated with a newer version of Unreal Engine 4. The change to killer PoV was apparently unintentional and when the devs acknowledged it, they said so but that they had no intention of ever fixing it. It's also that update which led to flashlight blindness causing problems with high-end monitors that can display brighter luminance, effectively damaging the eyes of the player looking at the screen. The issue was reported immediately but as it only affected killers, it would be 17 months before the devs did anything about it, which was a simple swapping of the texture. This was a potential health-hazard, but they were in no hurry. Most games warn about Epilepsy risks, but no such warning was made about damage to eyesight.
Yet people think I have it in for the devs just for the hell of it.
Regarding that patch, not all the detail made the transition: a lot of HDR pixel-shader effects for example. Legacy cosmetics used to glow very bright and now just don't at all. It's been two and a half years, so I don't think that's coming back.
Fov or pov, in any case it was much better.
It was easier to see survivors when juking. After that it never recovered
-
I dislike corn but I DEEPLY HATE Yamaoka, that stupid grass makes survivors invisible
-
The reduced FOV was the greatest back stab on killers I have ever seen

No, I bought everything with money lol, even stuff I've never used like Jeff haha

A problem with adding doors is we could have a Lery’s memorial institute problem where most every window has a door way by them making them unsafe, although I agree something needs to be done about certain loops, I don’t feel like adding a door way is the best idea.
Fair, as long as the loops are improved I'm open minded

I don't play killer nowhere near as I used too, the QOL for killers is getting worse
I get so angry because the fov is so narrow. It got worse after the engine upgrade and had never been fixed since then

I have always see the music as a way of the devs to balance the game.
In other games as example, you know where your enemies are because your hear the footsteps - that is something that not work in dbd because of the music, sometimes.
So I think, there will most likley never be a option to set the music of.
It is a bad way though, another way to hinder killers.
Silly FOV, loud music, it is unbearable
-
+1 the chase music is too loud, it is offensive

I completely agree, I never said that I think they were designed well but the OP should realise that although they are currently very strong for survivors, there are things they can do right now that will save them time.
True!

If buildings like this bug you THAT much there are 2 options:
• Bamboozle, an amazing killer perk which when used correctly can force survivors to either leave a strong loop or shorten that loop in the future
• Leave the loop, an important part of this game is knowing when to stick to a chase, if you think a survivor knows how to waste your time at a specific loop, you have the option to not commit to the chase.
I personally main Pig and Spirit (when I play Spirit loops obviously aren't a huge deal) but when I play Pig, loops such as Ironworks, Coal Tower, etc. are places where I know I will have my time wasted and will actively go out of my way to avoid them while in chase.
The fact that your strategy is correct doesn't make the map design any more right.
These structures need to be changed by at least adding a door to remove the strong loop
-
messing around is one of the best things to do in dbd, it is not bannable

It’s a pretty humiliating oversight. Killer Shack should be in no way safe for survivors.
I’m not saying that if killer is chasing survivors in or around it the killer should be guaranteed a down, just that survivors should have very low odds of escape from a killer if a chase leads there.
you would expect at this point for killers to learn and build their shack like an open tent with NO pallets but they don't seem to learn hahah

Until I get mindgamed and camped in basement XD
hahah well you are entering the killer's house uninvited and you can even steal his/her stuff. Every lawyer would agree they have the rights to protect their property hahah
-
@[Deleted User] said:
The killer shack itself needs to be reworked too. It’s the KILLERS shack. It should be extremely dangerous for survivors there.
Glad I'm not the only one finding this very odd lol killer shack more like survivors heaven haha
-
There's a very strong loop indeed, unfortunately fixing these buildings by adding a door doesn't seem a priority after three years
-
on console if you close the app the survivors get zero points. They get points when the killer clicks "leave match" :(

Fact : killers are the ones slowly get killed by survivors.
Some of truest words ever spoken!
-
Told you, now it's spirits time.
Incoming nerfs, survivors have spoken
-
Yes please but maybe end of August to close the summer with a bang
-
I would be happy with feral frenzy simply being unlimited, faster (5.2 base) BUT you cannot hit sutvivors with it.
Essentially a tool for map pressure, so you can move as you desire. It wouldn't make legion strong, but better than the useless killer she is now
-
Cleansing makes the plague a very strong killer who can deny loops.
Not cleansing you are against an m1 killer.
This isn't even a debate, if you die to the plague she was mostly with corrupt purge

Ah, you are THAT guy who tunnel-visioned one Survivor for 5 Gens and complains about getting gen-rushed afterwards. I see...
@topic:
While this window can indeed be problematic (even though I would consider this as one of the "weaker" Bullshit Loops, especially, because it is RNG-based), people playing bad does not really give some evidence.
I mean, I can upload a video of me playing Nurse, and then claim that Nurse needs to be buffed, because I got dominated by the Survivors...
So you think it's OK and balanced to have areas of a map where survivors are god
-
The ideas here are sad, a killer (THE ENTIRETY of a team) needs to abandon a chase vs 1/4 of the opposing team.
How do you not see this as a gigantic problem?
Even if in the current, unbalanced state of the game the correct play would have been to abandon the chase, the fact that sometimes you need to give up, it's the testimony of how much this game is unbalanced.
When 1/4 of a team can verse the rest of the opposing team, given similar skill levels, every game that isn't asymmetric would have patch the situation within days.
Put some doors close to the window on all the structures and bye bye semi infinite
-
I hate hag, tbh she could even be deleted and I wouldn't care.
So no, she would be even more unbearable
-
agreed!
-
6-8 hooks with no tunnelling and very limited running in circles would be a good game.
Then I don't mind them escaping
-

I agree it is impossible to hit 360's even when my timing is impeccable.
I think 360 should be made much slower on console, it doesn't make sense that I need to stop wait for the spin to e d and then hit, its a lot of time wasted on a technical issue.
When you play console with the mouse it is as easy as pc, so it's simply lazy settings
-
Umm it depends on the graphics a lot, at the moment the game looks awful, borderline unplayable for me.
I'm not sure to be honest, I certainly hope so so dbd will need to step up it's game as atm is quite stale
-
The only solution I found is to use a half controller half mouse: https://eu.splitfish.com/fragfx-piranha-ps4.html?___store=english
Although it is so silly that to counter a 360 on ps4 you need to stop your movement and waste time because the sensitivity is so wrong...
Feels bad man!
-
DS is the perk I use the most, I don't even remember a game where I didn't use it.
So DS is NEEDED as an anti tunnelling perk, because tunnelling is a winning strategy when successful but annoying for the survivor when it does happen.
What is wrong about DS? I think the length of DS should be looked into or at least DS should be disabled when someone else is hooked or when you start to work on a gen/totem.
What I currently do after being unhooked is to jump on a gen right away and work on it as much as possible because you are essentially immune to the killer for 60 seconds.
So DS should protect you from tunnelling like it does, but shouldn't work when you start doing actions which are different than running away from the killer

Confirmation bias. You see more killer dailies because you complete all the survivor ones.
I'm not so sure, I'm simply getting killer's daily while usually they are quite balanced
-
Have you ever noticed that the game tries to steer you towards the role you are playing less than?
I am on a killer break and for the last two weeks I'm ONLY getting killer's dailies even if I delete one another killer's one appears
-
yes in UK I was just playing. All working just fine
