I'd like to see my boy Mikey as a survivor.
Michael: *drops pallet and just stares at the killer*
Killer: *backs away slowly*
Spirit would be nice too. Someone actually made a pretty cool render of spirit as a survivor.
Can you show me a picture or a link of that survivor spirit?
-
The Wraith actually becomes sort've useful now that he is a survivor, as he can be able to stealth his way through, and be able to mind game the other killers. The problem is that he can't do gens while cloaked.
It will be hell for the killers.

A "Perfect Game" in my book is when all four survivors disconect. They must begin disconecting after the match have been going for a while (not at the start).
Your shiny shards or blood thingy numbers do not impress me. Are you capable of getting as much salt as ME? (I don't have a picture at the moment, please take my word for it).
Well said m8

1.) Doubling back does not work because you will both collide into each other and she’ll turn back and down you. It never works against a competent Spirit.
2.) All you can do is run to a loop and pray she messes up.
3.) She is not punished for mistakes. At all. She is usually right on the survivor’s ass and her power doesn’t take long to come back. Her messes up just means she doesn’t get the “Grudge” points. She can still easily catch the survivor. She isn’t complete reliant on her power like Nurse.
4.) I have played Spirit ever since she was released. I can confidently say I have 4K about 85% of my games as her. She isn’t hard to play...at all.
5.) All I want is more counterplay. Once you’re in a chase without Iron Will, you’re pretty much at the mercy of how good the Spirit is at tracking :/
Well said as well.

32,000 BP, with 8000 earned in each category, is the best you can get without BP modifiers. You did excellently, but not every Merciless is perfect - perfect means absolute, and without flaw, while you could have received more. That isn't saying you could have done any better, of course - the emblem system, bloodpoints, and kills are stacked against efficient killers.
Alright. Thanks for letting me know.

Spirit is my favorite killer in this game, I love playing her and love playing against her because people complain she doesn't have counter. She obviously very strong reliable killer, but her counterplay isn't from her power, survivors should learn to be unpredictable and read how she plays, most spirits rely solely on sounds, but doesn't mean sound is gonna guranteee her victory. The best to do against spirits is to just see how long you can last because her screwing up mistakes heavily punish her. When in a chase to her don't predictable where you're heading, avoid grass to now allow her to pinpoint you, use windows but don't fast vault them, slow vault so it cause no sounds from which side your coming from because when you fast vault it leaves a dust from the side you vaulted. Double back against a spirit also works but don't just run straight because she's following the scratch marks which will potientally cause you have collision her, if you don't have iron will this is really not recommended, but if you do you're more safer against taking the risk. Keep in mind if this mistakes doesn't work out he first chases chances it won't work again in the second chase with her, because she's reading your playstyle from your first chase. It's similar to nurse how in order to catch survivors you have to analyze them in a chase. Obviously she's a threat and can still down you quickly but the best you can do to beat her is do your best to stall her much as you can, because she still a M1 killer and it can be very difficult for her to apply pressure. Anyways Spirit is bae forever and don't give a damn for the people complaining about her to be nerf heavily.
Well said man.

Because shes hard to counter efficiently even if you know what your doing. So everyone yells for a nerf so they can get a easier game. Sad part is she has a bug letting you know she's in phase. Yet people still can't seem to figure her out. Her biggest strength is chases and mind games. Yet her single strongest weakness is actually a competent stealth player. People dont want to adapt to using stealth they prefer to loop a killer who effectively is designed to have the best chase potential outside of Nurse in the game.
Wasn't that updated to be a feature? (Whooshing sound.)

Spirit costs 9000 shards so you need 3510 more shards to buy her.
So when you are level ~53 ish, I think.
Thank you

I also have 5490 shards if you want to know.

High mid tier in a map that suits him with good perks and game sense
Low tier in any open map especially the big ones
To be honest, I tend to do better with big open spaces, as not only I have better knowledge around me since when survivors expose you, you can instantly know where they are and get into a chase, but also the tall grass most maps have are very useful for hiding, and also you can stalk easier during a chase if it's more open around you. Tight places with multiple hiding spots like Jigsaw map can be great too for him since it's easier to yonk people off generators.
-
I believe dedicated servers will help with this. If not then they should add a separate casual mode instead, so killers and survivors don't have to worry about ranks when they are playing casual, and new modes could be added, including mutiple killers in one match (as a option, and into two killers and more than 4 survivors) if they think about it.
-
I agree with the rework of the struggle mechanic. We need to change it so it won't be a annoying button mash.

@tavdogg11 check that thread out and post your thoughts on the thread. My solution makes it unique and more action esk. More appealing to all while giving a twist and making struggle an actual struggle mechanic not a base tap simulator.
Alright thank you.

Yeah. I use adrenaline and I do agree it needs to be balanced.

Okay, first of all, body blocking by the hook, much like camping and tunnelling, are annoying and yet legitimate play styles. We might not like them, they can make winning difficult, but they are part of the gameplay and quite punishable both by slugging and using certain perks such as mad grit.
Secondly Generators. This is the survivor goal, this is literally what has to be done to escape, and most survivors have been doing the damn things for months, meaning they have become practised at skill checks and knowing when best to strike, such as getting that risky middle gen done asap and doing their best not to get three genned. People improve by time and it is not realistic to expect them to do it slowly because it annoys you. I'm not saying it to be mean, because It isn't in my nature, but gen pressure is the killers job. Getting gens done quickly so as to expedite an escape before being killed, is the survivors.
Toolboxes do not instantly repair generators, even with spare parts. But just as killers have perks and addons that aid them towards their objectives, so do survivors. You also have ways and means of dealing with items brought in, such as franklins, and perks to regress generators you find. Again, this is your job and it's unrealistic to expect people not to bring these things into game. I don't expect a killer to nerf themselves by eschewing tactics, perks or addons because its frustrating for the other side, nor do i expect this from survivors.
If you want map control, you TAKE map control. All i see on these forums, from both sides, is the expectation that the other side should be nerfed or handicapped when something gets difficult, instead of people learning and adapting. It IS hard work, it DOES take trial and error, but to be perfectly honest, the more people cry out that this, that and the other is unfair, the tighter you draw the noose around this game.
Survivors cannot play without killers, Killers cannot play without survivors, and people need to realise that the more people play, the better they get at the game. I see so many childish statements of "Git Gud" from both sides, and yet the minute people actually do master part of the game...well lets call in the nerf police because suddenly getting good isn't fair anymore.
I sympathise with the OP, because some games do seem like an absurd lesson in frustration, but that is unfortunately how we learn, how we get better. I'd rather lose 10 games if it teaches me how to master certain killers, than cry out for changes to be made so that i get an easier life, and the same with playing survivor. I don't have a particular flag to wave for either side, and my post history will support that.
You are right, which is why I recently changed my mind as I realised it was sort've my fault.
-
That is now a new reason I love him. >:)
-
I think my issue now I think about it is that not only I play on console, but that on console the best time to play as killer here is night, so I can't really play then since my family use the TV all of the time. This messes up matchmaking and makes me play against higher ranks, since I seen more higher ranks as a killer during the day.
And yeah I might need to improve.
-
Yeah sorry about the outdated video.

You don't need a entire build to target totems, just a single perk (that happens to give notifications not only for totems, but for freddy, trapper an hags traps too) or a map

In this match in particular, I broke 5 totems with tier III Thrill of the Hunt, and still did 2 and a half gens, a rescue and a gate, and ended with the most bloodpoints in the match!
When I have a matches without hex totems, I go out with 5000 extra bloodpoints aside for the rest I gain for everything else, that it happen to count for the lightbringer emblem too!
But if you still don't want, its your own decision!
I just will kindly ask of you to spare the rest of us of useless rants/threads about changing/nerfing/erasing NOED, because there are tools to avoid the proc of it, but still you and countless survivors keep refusing to use them!
Yeah. Maps are useful, and I used rainbow maps to counter hexes as well as find gens and traps. It's really useful and worth it to use a rainbow map.
-
And when I mean body blocking the hook, I ment multiple survivors blocking the way.
-
I was applying pressure, hell when I play my main I tend to apply a lot of pressure. But even when I play Billy apparently the gens are still done too fast.
-
I know this is possibly a joke post, but to be honest I don't care about toxic survivors. I just say gg and if they are going to be annoying or toxic then I'll let them be then. They might lose to someone else later on due to them. If they are being salty then let them as well, as this let's you know that you are doing a great job if they died because of you, and they complain to you about being too good at the game. (Slugging, tunneling when needed, etc.)

Yeah. Bring a map. I was able to not only do totems but also do gens because I knew where they were. It's very useful to have the rainbow map especially.

Would it be possible to do something similar to the Hell Ember from Identity V?
Maybe Frank could have the other members of the Legion be kinda like sentries that can detect other Survivors and maybe even do simple chases against them? Maybe have each of the other Legion members do/specialize in something different?
Great idea. I was thinking of something like that. This needs to be implemented into the game soon.
-
Also if possible 5 survivors as well, as this seems to be possible in game with the bug as well. It's almost like it was once supposed to be in the game...

Legion right now is an unfunny, boring a day weak killer.
The power is dull, like an inbuilt thanatophobia, killer instinct was nerfed when Gf was introduced.
They need a total rework, if vaulting and jumping on pallets doesn't really work, they need to come up with something completely new.
I got a dumb idea for the rework. How about he can summon other legion for a few seconds? It could be OP but if it's a split second it could work.
-
To be honest, I hate playing against legion, but I wouldn't change on what you play. Play what is best for you. I personally prefer something like Spirit, Huntress, Hag, or Doctor, even if they might be bad or amazing killers doesn't mean that I shouldn't or should play them, and I should what I personally like. For example I tend to play whatever I feel like at the moment, while waiting to get new killers to try out. It's all personal preference.

Yeah, but a lot of killers still don't care. That situation will happen to them and they'll still kill whomever remains.
Yeah, I just said that I personally will do that. I didn't ment that everyone does it.
-
If I become red ranks and see this as a killer, I will let the survivor who was left behind leave on their way, because that is simply depressing to see that.
-
So when I cuss the thing is replaced with [BAD WORD?]
Dang
-
Gen tapping isn't a great idea and doesn't help improve skill checks. Also there is a perk that can negate hex perks of you look hard enough. I think it's with Adam.
-
Yeah, this perk needs to be used now I think about it. Hex perks are way to powerful and using this you can finally don't have to deal with Hex perks.
-
People tend to be toxic, and even with friends they think that they could escape with a DC. It's funny when you realize that you made someone pissed off so much that they DC, but it's also dumb since they could've worked together to counter your plays.
-
As a killer main who plays survivor at times, I highly agree with this. There isn't enough ways to hide and finding survivors have been as easy as playing cannabal with dumb survivors. There needs to be more ways to hide not only your body but your aura as well so survivors don't ha e to depend on pallets too much, and that killers like the doctor or Myers can get higher in the meta, as well as allow survivors to survive a God tier nurse.
-
BTW I am considering spirit mostly but I do like some opinions so I can see what is best.

And I has said before, he might need tweaks, but GIVE HIM SOME TIME. It's better to not nerf him out of the gate.
