No one is talking about her because survivors finally got their way and had her nerfed to the ground. They don't want to be threatened so now that she's out of commission, they just pivot to the next target.
-
Then tunneling and kill rushing don't exist. Survivors just didn't try hard enough to not get caught.

I'm sure you guys have already heard all of this by now, but I want to take a moment as a survivor main to be like what the ######### survivors. I am doing archives for killer at the moment, and once I get what I need to do done I've been essentially "throwing" the rest of the game. As in not really trying and letting the survivors survive no matter how many misplays they make or times I could have killed off the ones remaining. I'm rank 16 killer, and I'm going up against rainbow ranks obviously and I'm getting bitchy rank 7s-9s complaining after every game about game play. I'm not tunneling, or camping, and I'm ACTIVELY trying to avoid seeming like I'm doing those things, which is a mistake tbh. Its always a bunch of "wow trash killer, you are so bad" etc. Like bruh. Its Christmas. Chill the hell out. You are getting free BP, but apparently they want me to kill them so damn bad they wanna throw insults after the game. Is playing a chill late game really that much of a problem?
Wolves never care for the opinion of sheep. You could literally be handing people the game and they'll still do what you're complaining about. Block it out and move on because they obviously can't. In my case, it's the only game I have to actively restrict communication because the salt mines flow like menstrual cycles.
-
On Xbox your frame rate can drop dramatically and often when you're in a chase or even getting notifications.
-
Why shouldn't killers see their own totem? It's literally been blessed by The Entity. Also, why is this even an issue when chances are you're going to spawn with it while the killer is on the opposite side of the map anyway?

I’m sorry but if you have zero interaction with the killer there is something wrong. In fact that in itself explains why you might be getting “gen rushed”.
Gens speed cannot be changed because there are already tools that slow them down. In fact in many cases it’s already too much to a point where the killer is benefiting too much from the slower speed.
Sometimes the scales are either tipped for or against you. You can’t win every match.
Yes there is something wrong with that. Usually that's a perfect storm of maps the size of an astronomical unit, not playing top tier killers, immersed survivors, SWF red ranks, forever loops, and toolboxes. Unfortunately, that storm happens way too often for it to not be an issue especially on console with the current state of matchmaking. No you're not expected to win every game and it's not the survivor's job to get chased and caught. However since the emblem system forces interaction, the killer gets penalized a lot more when survivors get tunnel vision and that's not an outlier.
-
This is true on the console, where you will often get SWFs that will do nothing but gen rush and leave with zero interaction with killers. It's not going to be addressed. At least not in any significant, meaningful way as solo survivors will get buffed first, leaving most killers in need of the ability to address the rush in the dust. 3 and 4 man toolboxes don't exist to me as I dodge them like Average Joes vs. Globo Gym.
-
I guess that's understandable if no one is communicating the info. Maybe for solo survivors I can see that being part of the buff the devs want to do.
-
Run it on Spirit and you can get some nasty 3-4Ks. By the time it gets to 3 tokens and isn't cleansed yet, the game gets significantly more dangerous.

could be, but we all know that at red ranks there are many Killers who got there through "undeserved Gameplay" (noed,moris,etc) and because of such Player the good ones would fall back,which is kinda undeserved imo
Undeserved? Oh you mean the stuff the devs put in the game for killers to use to kill survivors and have the good ones fall back?
-
How is that a counter for totems? They're bright as hell, loud as hell, and usually spawn in survivors LOS, next to a gen, or out in the open for all to see. That's enough counters.

Again asymetrical, saying balancing around swf is not balance at all is pretty ridiculous. Asymetrical means you are SUPPOSED to be playing as a team against the killer balancing around the SWF experience is the most logical thing to do.
Asymmetrical does not mean not address longstanding balance issues. You can have 4 v 1, 5 v 1, or 50 v 1. If that one is consistently handicapped, then you'll just have a bunch of people waiting in lobbies sitting on their hands and then crying when people use every method to secure a kill because issues that surround the complaints aren't adequately addressed.
-
Having the game balanced around SWF is not balance at all, which is why this purported road map's goal is to somewhere down the line buff killers up to be viable. Of course solo survivors are still higher on the totem pole so we'll see where this lip service goes. But while these changes are going on, apparently there are less and less people willing to put up with the matchmaking and survivor catering on console. Hopefully, they'll have killer players left on console when that time comes but I wouldn't hold my breath.

@Tr0g said:
Why do you care about pips. Seriously. The rank system means nothing in this game. Hell I'd rather lose a pip than gain one as a killer, because as soon as you become a green killer you will face red/purple SWF groups 90% of the time on console. Percentage nog exaggerated.
I guess I need to AFK Wraith to go down further in ranks past green. Purple on console is meaningless because you'll just have red ranks all day. Very rarely do you get a group that actually matches your skill level.
-
Yeah it would be nice to have maps that weren't as big as China or Siberia with every release. Certain killers seem to need map offerings to at least have a competitive chance to even make it to the first survivor before gens start a poppin'.
-
OP you're exactly right. I'm in purple ranks on console with zero desire to be in red ranks but almost all my lobbies have at least 2 red ranks and the majority of obvious SWF will have 3-4 at any given time. I'm over here on Xbox wondering if I'm the only killer even close to red ranks because it's consistent. Yeah I can get matches in less than a minute but when almost all of them have try hard, red ranks SWF with a gallon of sweat on top I'd rather wait 30 minutes to play an actual casual game with that same consistency.
-
Honestly I don't care for the plight of survivors. If you consistently have bad teammates then find better teammates. Problem solved. As many SWFs that run in this game, it shouldn't be too hard to find. You say these challenges aren't personal but you saying how you're forced to do it because you paid money betrays your words. So why don't you do yourself a favor and stop complaining about a problem you bought.
-
NO ONE FORCES YOU TO DO TOMES OR ANY EXTRA STUFF OUTSIDE PLAYING THE GAME. Oh, my caps were on.
-
Maybe on PC
-
Efficient play styles are efficient. I like to have the ability to return to the hook so I'll walk away if no one shows on BBQ. If you happen to be the one I see then sad day for you. Not like the other survivors are going to stop what they're doing in order for you to chase them because they feel bad the other guy got tunneled.
-
Oh yeah, and those shady MFs that try to slip in a toolbox in the last 5 seconds of the countdown when there's already one in the lobby. I see you with that Engineer toolbox/BNP.
-
Auto dodge if there are more than 2 toolboxes and even with 2 it depends on if I'm set on playing a "fun" killer or build where I don't have to be a tryhard. Also will dodge if there are 3 survivors with a clan tag on their name or the word "toxic". But 3-4 toolboxes and I leave and laugh like "######### are you thinking?"
-
It's the same with purple ranks. I'm over here on Xbox wondering if I'm the only killer close to red ranks at 7/8 because almost all my games have at least 2 red ranks in it. I can see why killers de-rank.
-
@LetsPlayTogether said:
Feeling better with ebony mori ... then for all the players sake, play something else, cause youre just not suited for this game. As survivor I play nearly every game against something out off ebony, ultra-rare OP Addon, tunneler or camper. THATS stressful. I only feel relived if the killer decides to be not such a tryhard and just wants to have some nice game.
Play what you want. By that logic if you're using keys and purple toolboxes with BNP, you're not suited to play this game. What kind of logic is that? Past green ranks you can never have a "nice game" without survivors being try hards and forcing your hand.
-
@NoShinyPony said:
There aren't enough red rank killers, so purple and green killers have to play against red rank survivors. We need some changes to the game, so that more people want to play killer, especially at the higher ranks.
Showing who is SWF would encourage killers to dodge SWF, so that is not a solution. What the devs could do is give the killer bonus bloodpoints and Emblem points for facing SWF, since it is obviously more difficult than playing against solos.
Apparently this is the truth. Because in purple ranks I rarely face a group of purple ranks survivors. It's almost always at least 2-3 red ranks in the game on almost every game I play now between ranks 8-7 and takes forever to rank up. Even if they're all not SWF, survivors can still play and coordinate like a group. If at least half of your team is red ranks, you should be facing a red rank killer. No exceptions.
-
If you're like me and have 54 perks on your web when making a new killer viable for you, then yeah slugging with him is the best choice until you get better perks for him.

maybe if solo surv was viable then we wouldn’t need SWF. 4 solos= guaranteed killer win at high ranks.
nice try with that double standard though..
Any amount of comms between solo survivors make a coordinated unit that approaches SWF. Also, killer buffs are at the bottom of the list for the upcoming lengthy list of solo survivor buffs so as long as killers have to suffer through SWF and buffed solos, then Moris will stay they way they are. Nice reach on that double standard, surv main.
-
I like how killer buffs are last. Gives them room to constantly push them back because there's always time to buff survivors.
-
It's funny how people are "concerned" someone took out their frustration in a videogame lol. He's in a killer role doing what killers do. This game has a never ending cycle of toxicity that will stay as long as people want to piss off others. If you get randomly camped, tunneled, Mori, etc then there's a good chance you can thank the A-holes that came before you.
-

you absolutely don’t need mori to counter SWF.
if you do, you should re-evaluate and get better at the game.
^ this goes for all killers.
You obviously don't play killer against SWF then. If you do and think that then you must deal with either a bunch of potatoes, are slugging, or camping. Getting better at the game means using everything available to you. Maybe you need to re-evaluate why you like to play handicapped in a game that has balance issues.
-
And what do you survivors suggest nerfing it to? Nothing has been said to add anything to it but I'm assuming nerfs to something that only benefits you. Nice try but as long as SWF and gen rushing exists, Moris are the counterbalance.

@SteelDragon said:
since this is similar to another thread im just gonna copy and paste my response
if you are talking about red ranks, there is NO incentive for killers at red ranks other than stress. you play perfectly or you lose. for survivor? it gets super easy, one person needs to have 1 good chase with the killer and the game is pretty much over most of the time. red rank killers (like myself) will just get to rank 1 then de rank, im in the process of this atm. killer Q's at red ranks are INSTANT. but like I said there is no reason to be a red rank killer other than stress or youtube/twitch content. because at red ranks the IMBALANCE in the game is VERY clear
until 2 things happen, this will remain a problem
- give us a reason to be a red rank killer (reward or something)
- balance the game better
now we have come a long way since 2016, but there is still a lot of imbalance in the game. so until things change, red rank survivors will have longer Q's since not very many people want to deal with red rank games
All of this right here. Even approaching red ranks is full of stress, sweat, and BS. I'm a double pip away from red ranks again and from ranks 6 and 5, you face a LOT of SWF red rank survivors who do not care about anything other than gens and leaving. That's fine and all but you don't get anything for it being in red ranks as killer. At all.
-
Nice bait. Sanctum is survivor sided. It's dark, huge, and plenty of hiding spots for survivor.
-
Probably trying to de rank so they can get placed further down the brackets when reset hits.

Try that:
How does it benefit the game when killers/survivors are getting nerved
No I'm good. The nerfs to survivors since I've been playing don't compare to the killer nerfs.
-
@w_sohl said:
I play both sides. Everyone that complains that the game is survivor sided, how do you figure when every killer has better than a 50% kill rate?
When every nerf happens when survivors complain in a much faster response time to buffing a killer.

Its like a mother and her child. The child asks for candy but always gets vegetable its never asked for.
Only because its unwanted, doesnt mean its bad for you. Only because you dont get something what you would enjoy, doesnt mean it would be good for you.
Exactly how does it benefit killers to be nerfed? Apparently no one can answer that.
-
@merg said:
stop making the killers op, please, you pieces of #########. thank you.
Don't worry. They're hard at work nerfing killers all day so just give it time and all you'll have is Survivor Lobby Sim 2020
-
So one of the few killers that can deal with multiple toolboxes gets nerfed in months yet killers that need buffs take years if ever. And there's no survivor bias. Right....
-
I wrote about this earlier today. I'd rather wait to play people at least in my color bracket consistently rather than the other way around where I get red ranks SWFs and a random rank thrown in the mix. Again, it's BS because you can only go so far with certain killers and then they might as well not exist as options once you get closer to red ranks.
-
Only if we can Mori you off the bat. That seems fair enough.
-
No it's not fun. Neither is getting gen rushed with a new killer almost every game. It's either that or camp, seeing as how the version we got is not the version from the PTB. And his perks are trash.
-
It's absolute trash. I purposely de-rank because it's total BS outside of 2 or 3 killers at best. Same with purple ranks because you only go up with cheating red rank SWF that brings in a low rank for easy matches in about half your games. You want to learn a new killer and you have to wait until rank reset because you get gen rushed and teabagged all day.

I'm tired of being slugged 4 times a match. Frankly No Mither is probably his counter at this point. I haven't been M1'd by an Oni lately and he slugs so much. I guess its fun if you're the killer. I don't particularly enjoy crawling on the ground for 5 minutes so guess I'm gonna play a different game until people stop playing Oni or the playstyle changes from slugging. I'm also a little perturbed that blood orbs don't expire and slugs drop them so Oni can proximity camp a slug wait for that survivor to get picked up go into his power one shot the heal and slug again. Its just not fun. Its not fun at all.
Have you played WITH the Oni? Then you don't know that slugging is a legit strat with him.

I guess all the people saying they play him on console and do well are lying?
Not all. The lucky ones. Maybe if they have a mouse/keyboard attached. But he sucks. At least on Xbox. Perks just happen to make him suck less. His handling in rage mode is absolute trash and he can be looped from here to the end of time. Billy is vastly superior.
-
Yeah Oni is a disappoinment because you can loop him all day. Time for a rework.
-
There's a reason for that: right now he sucks on console. I have him on xbox and I have to wait until rank reset to play him because in purple ranks with a new killer you learn nothing but frustration. He's slow, clunky in rage form with a slow as hell one shot, and sucks at loops. You miss his hits because the camera points you everywhere BUT your target. Demogorgon is better.

Yeah it's BS. I have to run All Seeing Wraith on Sanctum of Wrath just to see a survivor in front of my face.
