Because it have no cooldown and 32m range.
-
Yea, it's like Nemesis situation. M1 is when you can, M2 if it's convinient.
-
Very easy. Make everyone start with 1 condemn and make addon that builds it when healing base kit.

It should not get repair speeds anyway. Repair speeds are already fast as it is, and this would essentially give everyone super fast repair speeds for most of the match. Killer injures a survivor? They run off to get a heal anyway, then poof back to super repair speeds again. It would effectively givr super repair speeds in the match when they would be repairing anyway. Killers would have to constantly damage everyone they can asap even if just getting healed from an unhook, otherwise gens will be flying faster than they already are. There wre plenty of times when playing killer I would leave a survivor alone because they were recently hooked. If I knew them being fully healed means someone has buffed their repair speeds, I'd be shooting myself in the foot taking it easy on then.
That's even worst for killers like ghost face who have to build up stalking for kills. Now they would be shooting themselves in the foot for letting any survivor get away for the sake of building stalking.
A never expiring repair speed buff when survivors would actually be repairing would be too powerful.
Yes, but number should be at least 25%, because given values are garbage.
-
Yea, i was like WOW 16%?! Oh wait, no more repair speed? Nvm, in dead perk bin it goes.

The consequence is a 30 second wait if you didn’t want it versus a potentially unlimited wait.
What is wrong with you? Touch some grass if you feel like strangers in SoloQ owe you anything.
-
It's because game is much less forgiving than before meta shakeup. You can't afford to play sloppy because it may cause a gg.
-
All charms should be scrapped.

The main problem was the combined duration was unlimited. This clearly fixes that. If you really want to ragequit on hook and can’t wait 30 seconds for Reassurance to end then you’re really not getting sympathy on my end, I hate ragequitting.
It breaks their own condition, is not force anything on other survivors agains their will.
It is clearly toxic if it is allowed and other side can't reject the deal.
-
Yea, but only during loading screen and on menu screen somewhere.
Seeing builds before the game may cause toxicity.
-
The only change i want is to swap screams to killers instict when intoxicated.
Hitting with his power screams: "hey, killer is busy, do gens"
-
@Tsela said:
it works as intended, it needs no change.
First of all it has a cooldown, second, it needs the kick, third, you can simply counter it by working on another gen while the killer is chasing instead of the one he just kicked
It's not that simple. Perk favours SWF and punishes SoloQ.
25 seconds is a mistake.
"working on another gen" YEA, make sure you do that every time killer kicks a gen.
-
It's will cause too much bugs.
Code have very basic structure. So trying to wiggle around foundation will be a pain.
-
Too harsh, maybe a hook action would force a moderate skillcheck?
-
All totems should be a ground floor, having any sort of elevations makes boons too strong.
Meatplan is an exception.

on some maps; gideons, cowshed, new rpd, new rpd 2, yamaoka on bad rng, badham 1, badham 2, badham 3, badham 4, badham 5 (its so great there are 5 of them) there are just a million pallets, or too many for how safe they are
most maps its fine tho
Yea, Badham is the worst map(s) for killers.
-
They should give players a reason to stay with a scenario they don't like.
There is NO REASON to stay in game you don't like. You get no points, no fun value... so why stay?
-
They can't code for perks to not stack or work together and you want them to code and exception for items?
BROTHER

It's a bug. Tho, i wish he had a delay before unlocking Lockers after unhooking someone.
As soon as somebody unhooked, Dredge can jump in near lockers right away.

Nothing is gonna be done, unless there is somebody loud enough on twitter.
-
Why are you running WoO with open handed? It gives 32m already.

If you heal yourself, you lose the endurance status effect.
But not healed by somebody. I mean, if you got to a point to use MoM, you might as well got through with it.

I'm discussing solely about the aura reading needing to be a downside to a perk where the perk already prevents you from doing anything to keep the perk active.
What stops you from getting a way of the killer? Heal, and be annoying. Since you are ungaging with the killer you team doesn't.
-
@Crowman said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3108993#Comment_3108993
The killer has no reason to ever deal with the MoM user they can see the aura of, because that survivor cannot work on gens, heal themselves or other survivors, rescue other survivors off hook, or cleanse totems as long as they keep the endurance effect up.
You are trying to say the aura reading is necessary, because there needs to be some kind of risk to MoM. However, MoM endurance means you cannot do anything else without losing it. The aura reading really doesn't offer anything besides just telling the killer to ignore you.
But you have leave the killer to get to that point. Also, you can be healed and be a the tank. if somebody gets carried or chased.

I don't know what to tell you, if you think a 33% slowdown for the entire team + however much more slowdown from even setting up MoM when they could just run dead hard in exchange for getting an endurance hit once per game isn't worth more as a killer than just them not running the perk and replacing it with literally nothing then we're getting some pretty different killer games
If your team can't run the killer you are lost anyway. So what is the issue with 2 manned gens?
I was doing hide near killer as David, most of the game i was tailing the killer and distract with lithe if it come to chase and I had pretty decent repair flow.
Like i said, if you want a game to be more boring - play gens. If you want some action, feel free to take mom and breakout. Try to enjoy the game for once. It's not about Dying/escaping anymore.
-
@usesPython said:

It's unlimited endurance as long as you're doing nothing to progress the game since now conspicuous actions will disable MoM, if someone wants to basically throw the game by not doing gens so that they can take an endurance hit they would have been able to take with Dead Hard anyways then it's benefiting me as a killer more from the free slowdown than if they literally hadn't put on the perk in the first place.
T3 MoM aura reading will either not proc since you go for the hit on the person who just took a protection hit after baiting out dead hard and OTR in which case the aura reading is pointless, or it'll proc and tell the killer they're getting loads of free pressure from one person not doing gens, or it'll proc and the MoM user will get back on a gen without using the endurance and have probably been an active detriment to their team trying to get the protection hits
Literally who in their right mind would ever use Mettle of Man over Dead Hard in its current state
Because You don't need more than 2 people to go through gens, hooks is the most valuable thing for killers, if you can deny a least 1- 2 hooks per game you will win.
-
It's should not work on itself for sure.
If you run Distortion, you will lose 2 tokens, because it lasts 11 seconds.
They need to bump Distortion to 15 seconds and i don't have any problems.

I agree they should but they shouldn't have too many cost. Otherwise it makes it terrible to use. It's why previous Mettle of man was barely used
Because it was needed 3 hits, nobody in soloQ would dedicate to it. Now it's more friendly and simplified. I can actually see people running it.
-
@dspaceman20 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3108929#Comment_3108929
But it's not exactly free its at the cost of not doing any anything to progress the match.
Why would you bring Mettle of man but not try and get use out of it?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3108942#Comment_3108942
But it has two downsides that are not needed. It shows your aura to the killer and you can't do anything in order to keep the endurance. One of the stipulations is enough to ensure they use it for bodyblocking.
It should one of thr downsides not both.
Because extra health states should come at the cost, which i agree with. That's the stigma Devs are going with.
-
It's actually better and more usable in soloQ.
-
It's more straighforward: take 2nd protection and tank with endurance.
If you refuse and leave with permament endurance you will be exposed.
It's very simple.
-

I don't think this explains the aura reading though. I feel you can have that same effect without the aura
They want people to use it, not running around under free endurance. You either USE the perk as intended or suffer.

The aura reading shouldn't be there at all. Please give me a good reason for the aura reading since you agree ir shouldn't even be in play?
Since it is a permament endurance. I think Devs wanted this perk to be "Fight or flight" type a thing. You endure a hit and get out, that's the point.

What?! Lol Hex ruin + Undying + Pop + Tinkerer was META, or just pop + tinkerer + Scourge + optional. It was the meta
We must have played different game then, i saw PoP and Unduying for sue. Full Get builds were really rare.
-
@ModernFable said:
Three or more slowdown/regression perks has always been the meta.
That being said, not opposed to further balance to avoid stacking of slowdown/regression.
They actually were not before 6.1.0.
Devs just did pointed the way by buffing the most annoying ones.

Eruption needs a timer in the worst way, or the incapacitated status needs to not be a thing. Putting a player in timeout for 25 seconds on top of 10% regression is absurd. It completely eliminates the need for game sense in the late game. Take any chase you want as long as you've kicked the gens in the 3 gen.
The Call of Brine/Overcharge synergy is way too much. I've had to do gens 2 or 3 times over because of these perks.
Dead man switch + anything gen related.
I have no info, at all. As soon i tap out, boom you can't that gen for 30 secs, sucks to be you.
-
Yea, my best was 3 rush hits. I don't see myself getting 6 on my own.

what kind of solo q were these people playing before?
It's just more punishing for survivors. As some said. morale is very low because killers started crutching.

Matchmaking is the only issue.
it's just people switching over to kille because they killswitched bp bonus, also it's less painfull.
-
2ndary effect should not affect The Perk itself.
-
Or just give more BP overall?
150% for all actions does sound alright to me.
-
Agree, emblems are about longer games, not efficientcy.
Think, you are getting adept for STALLING the game, not winning.
Might as well make 3k and 8 hook minimal so it's kinda fair.

I agree with you. Survivors don't have enough time to cleanse all five totems, especially after the update. But Lullaby is a perk that can be at full strength and still not be anywhere near overpowered. It's not that hard to hit skill checks without the auditory warning. It adds a twist to the match, though, that isn't present when every killer runs META perks. Blood Warden and Rancor are the two other perks that are in the same category.
Yes, Lalluby is only good for survivors at 0 or 5 tokens. Anything in between screws them.
But i agre on only lighting up when you get a token
-
So your idea is to turn this perk into pentimento galore?
I don't think that survivors have THAT much time for removing hexes as you think.
-
DH was the cheapest jail-free perk, nobody with a brain gonna argue about that.
Shame that it took them forever to nerf it.

Who do you think it will be OP on? I'm definitely interested.
Demogorgon for sure and other killers who can use land powers hits easly.
-
it's very threatening with 115 killers, starting from 4 tokens you can catch up super fast after a hit.
After DH demise and damage boost nerf, this perk will be super strong, maybe even op on some killers.

Those buffs didn't really do a whole lot. Legion pre-patch still plays largely the same as legion post-patch. It's still legion, with barely a power if survivors spread out and split once they hear the terror radius.
Good luck with spreading in solo with latest Buffs.

Seeing how your first post is just a complaint with no constructive criticism, it definitely becomes about diversity. You don't want to play against Legion, and you've put up nothing that would make legion fun to play.
Well, revert buffs from pastt patches at least? It's not my job.
-
@foxsansbox said:
While I agree mending isn't that fun, yall aren't really spending that much extra time on gens because of thana. He's not exactly kicking them or causing regression while he's frenzying around.
Also, you want killers nerfed and less diversity, this is how you end up with less diversity.
It's not about diversity, the Killer make games boring af. And that's a fact.
