They're commenting on their lack of action and attitude towards the community before this hot fix announcement. Yes BHVR is doing something about it, but they should have not dismissed the community and kept the door shut about the hot fix. It is not the first time they've done this. Its great that they're working on it but it should have never come to this in the first place.
I know but they were even slower before and got better at it later on in present and yes at the current state of game with such popularity it should be even faster and more professional that all stands but again yes i am aware what their response was initially to streetwise.
But finally it caught up with them and they saw it the way we do
Also P.S im on the consumer side too, it wasnt pleasent for me either playing the state of game right now.
There has been few fixes in the patch notes that fully make the game playable for me as a killer and a survivor too

Since mmr was now the new way of matchmaking this is what i always get:
Strong killers and dumb teamates as survivor
Strong and coordinate survivors while playong killer
I'm wrong to think it was better before when it was random the team/opponent you get? Some matches were tough and some chill, now is always tough if near impossible, I'm the only one who think this?
Same here but its not every game its usually if i get 3 games in a row like full wipe 3 or 4kills i get put with players that are actually fully cracked at the game have like way more hours than me and know every tile in their memory.
And in those matches its not fun at all i barely even get 1 kill when in avg matches i am comfortable enough to get 3+ kills.
I think the new upcoming mmr system changes are going to be better since a staff member confirmed they are aware and working on new system and we should be pleasently surprised with how well it will work

i'm not talking about fog vials. did you read the entire post?
I did read the entire post, you explained it in a way where you say it in a way that paints them like they did not do anything but this pretty much sums up most bugs and the fixes for them

this doesn't feel like a response to our feedback. this feels like damage control after you ignored us for an extended period of time.
i understand sometimes this community will exaggerate a minor issue and that ignoring things will make them go away in a lot of cases. but YOU need to understand that sometimes, we actually are on to something. you need to develop the skills necessary to look at the problems that are occuring and make an objective decision about how impactful these problems are.
i'm sorry that the streetwise bug isn't something glaringly obvious like "this killer is accidentally giving people seisures" and required game knowledge to figure out the impact of. however, you should have that requisite game knowledge. you should be able to look at issues from the inside, where we are, and examine the projected impact that a bug like this can cause, using your own experiences of dead by daylight.
and if anyone, for some reason, felt like this would not become an issue for any number of reasons, then their game knowledge is lacking, and they need to care more.
dead by daylight IS a video game. it's also the livelihood of you and your streamers. people depend on the quality of dbd matches to be consistent without allowing broken perks to create outlier games that give people advantages they shouldn't have. and you, community managers and developers, need to understand that there IS a huge portion of people who take this game personally, and who will take advantage of broken and rogue elements specifically to try to ruin the other side's day.
i don't want you to tell me that this is a response to our feedback. i want the case where the next time something like this happens (because it almost certainly will happen again), you listen the FIRST time you are told and you DO SOMETHING about it.
also, don't give me that about "your expectations of the killswitch are different than ours". our expectation of the killswitch is that you use it to protect the integrity of the game, and you chose repeatedly not to protect the integrity of everyone's dbd matches (which, need i remind you, now use mmr).
what was the point of not using it? because the game would technically function, so it was ok to have none of the matches be worth playing? these bugged perks are making the game unfun, unenjoyable, and unplayable. all of my friends decided to spend the week (the LAUNCH WEEK OF THE WALKING DEAD CROSSOVER, btw) playing marvel rivals because you would not make the obvious move of killswitching it. and to be honest, i might not even pick dbd back up right away after this.
i'm seriously scorned by how the community managers have behaved during this. if you don't have the requisite game knowledge to know when to take us seriously, then boot up the video game and find out for yourself. hell, just boot it up anyway and look at how bad the problem is yourself. exploit the bugged perks. dbd games are so short, you literally could have had the first hand experience required to say "oh, yeah this is ruining the game" in one hour per perk. this is your job. even if you don't want to do it, can't you at least listen to your fog whisperers and twitch partners to inform your opinions? it's just negligent, and makes me feel like you're phoning it in. you are paid to be our liaisons, you should NEVER be dismissing us without investigating.
do better.
Did you read entire patch notes?
There is way more than just fog vial, and killswitch in the tomorrows update.
-
Also guys make sure to read full patch notes since a lot way more has been fixed that has been happening too!
We should be more thankful and happy and not focus too much on fog vial opacity being reduced because Ryan said that its still trial and error new mechanic so changes are never final.
Make sure to go read full patch notes for tomorrow 6th of august.

Nice, I see nothing about Clown please consider adjusting him, I won't explain here but many good youtube videos about the many problems with his new yellow bottles
My issue with clown is that my usual perk build does not even activate on time lol which is totally nuts like my dark sense + premonition which is a must for me to just go through solo gen rushing in my experience.
Like only way i outplay clown now is loop him at shack but thats it.
My perks literally activate by the time hes at my face at like 8 to 12meters and by that time its already over

yeah that's something that a lot of people who are complaining don't seem to get…if survivors have other options for fun, useful items, they won't bring so many toolboxes and will have something else to do besides gens.
if we just nerf anything that's actually useful, people will keep going back to toolboxes and sitting on gens, because what else is there to do? fog vials might be "annoying" to some people, but there's plenty of things in dbd that could be considered annoying lol. oh well, all we can do is hope they'll remain usable :'D
I hope that players will still use the fog vial, its still strong if used properly if used prematurly then its technically "bad" for me when i say bad i mean i can track the user who used it and down them with relative ease + michaels stalk ability still works (it wont show red aura but highlight them white outline to make it easier to spot within the fog)

That's a good suggestion, and something I'm happy to share with the team. We'll have more to share about updates to the Kill Switch process a little down the road.
As it stands right now, reporting bugs or exploits you encounter in the Bug Reporting section of the Forums is the most direct way to get concerns in front of us. This way, we can easily link evidence which helps jump-start the process of understanding what's wrong and investigating fixes.
Cheers, hopefully it wont take too much of the time to implement a feature similar to (player reporting) but when u hover over the perk at match result screen you can click the perk icon and it will highlight white and then allow to report the perk if it has issues.
And to make sure its not being wrongfully used, devs should just make it so its volume based and monitor it only after updats/big updates.
Either way im happy it was resolved in matter that it did.
-
@foolsparadise said:
i really hope they don't nerf them too hard :( im worried they're just gonna become another item no one uses because any other item would be more useful...i feel like they don't really need much of a nerf.
they're supposed to be actually beneficial to survivors, that's the entire point of items so i never really understood a lot of the complaints people had. "i can't see well in the fog" yeah man thats kinda the point
I was hoping it would become usable enough to help out with whole toolbox meta BNP part and gen rushing since i was praying for survivors to spend more time in chases and other objectives like that.
(Yes i am aware gen is main objective, but if doing only gens then BP and player XP isnt accumulated enough)
-
As a person who plays both sides, and killer wise i main myers.
I will say that even in the maxed out fog vial addons i did not have that bad of a time hunting and tracking the said survivor if it was used near me, if it was tactically used then yeah.
The only thing i will say is, the fog vial should be tuned in favor for seeing hooks and gens easier and remain useful for survivors to escape chase and other things like it is intended.
Thats basically all i have for fog vial i was worried it would ruin my stalking and aura build, it does not ruin it at all and my panic was thankfully all for nothing.
Overall i think the prior fog vial was okay but i guess this helps (i did not play PTB since im on PS5 but i saw clips and they did look amazing)
So yeah i think this just helps balance the game in favor for people that were in majority of saying that fog vial was too much, for me it wasnt. (Maybe againts highly cordinates squads that know map tiles and utilize it to punish killers then yes)

Sad I'm losing the war for fog vials. The opacity is already pretty meh. Everything else here is cool.
I take back what I sad about this company not being good at diplomatic wording. There is at least one person who is.
I agree the opacity should have stayed as it was, i even expected tiny bit of a buff to it too.
I just wished hook opacity would have been more visible in their opacity tuning, technically i dont mind not seeing a survivor as long as hooks are more visible and gens.
Think thats what killers probably complained mostly but did not word it properly.
-
Much obliged.
Looking forward to see the unexpected fog vial changes as i assumed that the team would not touch them since personally i found them to be okay for a start release, honestly i expected a tiny buff on them 😆.
Either way good stuff that you guys are improving the kill switch, does that mean that there will be in-game report button to report a certain perk? OR is it more related to forum reports as usual?.

Hello folks,
We have followed your conversations very closely about the state of the game of late, and we agree it’s not in the place we all would like it to be. Recent releases, including our most recent, have introduced frustrating new issues which have distracted from your enjoyment of DbD. We wanted to acknowledge this and let you in on the steps we'll be taking to resolve these issues in the short and long term.
Next Steps
- Along with posting this message, we are Kill Switching the following Perks which currently have issues:
- Streetwise
- Blood Rush
- Last Stand
- Tomorrow (August 6) we are releasing a hotfix to address a number of issues (see here for the patch notes) introduced recently.
- This hotfix will address the issues related to Streetwise and Last Stand, but we agree we should not wait any longer to activate the Kill Switch on them and are doing so now.
- We will also make small adjustments to Fog Vials, decreasing base fog opacity and the volume of ambient fog audio.
- Another hotfix is underway, scheduled to follow next week.
- Among others, this hotfix will address the Blood Rush issues you are currently experiencing in the game.
- Fog Vials will also be adjusted to add a limit to their uses in a Trial, moving away unlimited uses.
Processes Overhaul
As a result of your feedback and internal discussions on the same topic, we will immediately be rebuilding our internal Kill Switch process to be more nimble and better account for community sentiment. We understand you have an expectation of this tool that doesn’t match how we have been using it and wish to improve this.
Once we've settled on a new process, we will clearly communicate the criteria to trigger a Kill Switch to make sure your expectations are better in line with our actions.
Finally, we wanted to address the comments made by the team about the Kill Switch and Streetwise. We apologize for how these comments dismissed your feelings about the importance of quickly addressing Streetwise and further fanned the flames of an already tense topic.
We're grateful for your feedback, which helps us identify places where we can improve and re-evaluate our processes, changing course when it's needed to improve the Dead by Daylight experience for all. As a live game, we know this conversation is ongoing, and we appreciate you for being a part of it with us!

I think I may have missed a update or something but I just want to know if someone can confirm my suspicion It feels as though there are a lot less safe pallets and a lot less options to run to in chase and places where pallets used to be are just gone I just want to know if it's true that pallets have been changed that's all thank you
Could you be more specific? Since when i play againts ability killers with reach and abilities that travel through stuff and such then pallets dont feel safe.
When i play againts myers, wraith, trapper and such then i feel safe with pallets.
I think your post is very misguiding towards whole killers

Thats an issue with Myers, Myers is one of 3 killers generally agreed upon to be unviable in current meta. The fact that you can use Grim Embrace so much to rely on it for a 80% winrate only proves my point.
Myers is in need of a buff. A winrate of 80% implies he doesnt need a buff. But everyone knows that he does. So what's the issue here? That's right, Grim Embrace. Its not the holy grail. Its giving free kills.Actually its not grim that gives me kills its mostly the way i play and entrap the survivors going for hook saves and i pop my tier 3 and time it always i end up with 2 to 3 downs at once which usually always wins me the match before it even started so 4 gens left.
Grim only helps as i said as a holy grail to prevent gen rushing if i dont end up snowballing with him.
And as of recently i can do mouse n keyboard on ps5 which makes me not miss my hits and can flick and loop tighter without wasting precious chase time.
Also grim is a very reliable perk and i dont see it being used at all from killers they rely more on corrupt
-
As long as a GPU is "pegged" which is a term in tech industry at between 90-100% usually 99% to leave headroom but 100% is fine.
If it was like sub 70% you are not utilizing one piece of your hardware enough, usually cpu will be like 30-50% if its like 80-100% then it usually means your cpu is not good enough or bad optimisation.

OMG yeah XD
I already have all achievements (I try to get them as soon as they come out, although since they usually don't work on release day I get them 3-4 days later) and currently I"m only missing the crappy Fallen Refuge achievement since, because map offerings are now worthless, even after burning over 50 Withered Isle offerings I got the right map once and the Killer DCed before I could do the hospital gen.
Wesker is one of the few Killers able to push people away from Hatch without giving it to them during the recovery animation, so I was like "she will get the achievement even if I have to play Sable baseball for a while." XD
As an achievement hunter I try to help other people get ridiculous achievements when I can (No Mither Davids will be spared, anyone who finds Hand/Eye of Vecna will be spared since this achievement is so badly designed that when I play Vecna, my main goal is to give this achievement to people etc. XD)
Bruh honestly i was at the lampkin lane map yesterday and i had the eye and i didnt attune it because i didnt know how it works so i escaped without attuning it :/

Yeah it was one of them but that one i decided to derank haha
I couldnt even get past ew 2 i was like almost ew3 but gates gor opened
Buut the map i got the achivement on it was in that swamp map with kayak boats and docks
But on McMillian i was mainly standing on top of that wheat harvester xD
To get my evil within charged up entire match

@Defnotmeghead said:
Or at the very least, the timer should be based on how many survivors are alive. It doesnt make sense to reward a killer with the maximum value if they decided to kill over hooking all 4 survivors once.
And yeah, that does mean that killers have to decide what they rather have, a dead survivor, or 40 seconds of no gen progression. I could even argue upping the timer to 50 or 60 seconds if it means deactivating once someone is dead.I dont know about you but my WR is always between 77-83% on myers (tanked a lil because of me doing achivements)
Anyways i use Grim and grim saved me so many times againts gen rushers and cordinated teams, and by no means this perk needs a nerf because its already missmatching and overlaping with other gen slowdown perks so technically it feels like a loner perk a lot of the times and until you hook 4 unique survivors you wont be seeing that 40s gen locks until 2 or 1 gens left, hell for me i most of the time dont get all 4 seperate hook state on different survivors.
I myself dont resort to tunneling i do try and spread hooks different and go for the person doing most value for the team and i often just get 10s of lockdown but that does not help as much because the amount of gen rush is insane.
I think before grim and other perks like corrupt are to be adjusted there has to be a nerf on survivor side when it comes for their perks stacking too and item value stacking
Grim is the only perk that allows me to snowball which actually holds value unlike corrupt and any other perk.
Grim is the holy grail

That's why they keep mmr hidden, dirty little secret. Instesd it has "engagement optimized matchmaking", that's why it seems like you flip back and forth between games that seem impossible and games that seem too easy. Also the system groups newb survivors with high mmr survivors with the intention they will be carried. I wish this game had actual sbmm so we could get fair games.
The mod co-cordinator confirmed that future updates are coming to MMR system so most likely SBMM will be added or improved it there is a weak version of it in game.
They didnt say when or what they just said that we will be happy with the changes regarding MMR
And this was an answer to me asking what will be done to improve matches where u as a killer do constant back to back 3 kills but have like 300h in game and get put with 1k-10k hour players that play in a 4 stack premade

Then the match i got it from was 2 last survivors they were purposly throwing gen repair by missing skill check but i waited until two of them were done and killed one, managed to close hatch and patrolled best i could to find him opening gate and got my final mori.

Breaking bloodlust is one of the worst bugs the game could have, so I hope a fix is ready to go.
Glad you're enjoying the new item. It's definitely neat to have something new to play with.
Yeah its fun to play something new, i seem to help the casuals in my lobby not get catched so often during tp's and hook saves so its a big plus for that and i manage to save myself few times when i get catched off guard.
Its good that it needs specific addons to make it work as intended so its not just pop it in inv and run the match

I'm honestly disappointed that the health chapter has so far brought almost no stability to the game. It feels like business as usual, with each patch continuing to break the game. Bug fixing doesn't mean all that much, if each update keeps adding new ones, or resurrecting bugs that were previously patched out.
I honestly rely on bloodlust on my michael build every match so for me its been pretty broken ive been playing survivor and trying to get good with fog vial, its neat againts teleporting killers like springtrap

Wow… that aged like milk…
You are probably expecting some sort of post about how the game is "X-sided" or how everything is doom and gloom but genuinely the game is in a really rough state and I think the update should have been delayed by a few weeks minimum before it was pushed out.
To be incredibly blunt, this is an incredibly buggy and unfun update.
- Last Stand was bugged on the PTB to make your hitbox smaller and it would make vaults faster, effectively turning it into a permanent Finesse (albeit, not as fast as Finesse). This was never fixed going into Live Servers.
- Bloodlust and the Chase Mechanics as a whole are broken, often being caused by the Fog Vials, which means no Entity blocker, which unironically brings back infinite loops on some tilesets and maps. This USE to be a persistent issue back in the early days of DBD but apparently it made a return.
- P O L E
genuinely asking, how did this make it past QA testing?
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0TC605FFOH0C/screenshot-from-2025-07-29-13-11-35.png
- Some perks are incredibly bugged or outright do not match their current intended versions. This typically happens whenever the developers use different version of the game to make updates but this was never fixed and perk buffs that once were have vanished.
- Fragile Pallets still have the same issue that Party Pallets had where Killers that have powers that break pallets would get stuck at the pallet if they used their power while it was being dropped. This has been an issue for YEARS since Party Pallets were added but it was NEVER fixed, which only serves to be really annoying (best case scenario, it just wastes a few seconds) or outright frustrating (worst case scenario, you lose out on a down/hit). Keep in mind that I main the Demogorgon… I am going to have to live with this until it gets fixed.
…Just to name a few…
Either way, BHVR is probably working on a hotfix but it's still annoying that a lot of the issues from the PTB made their way to the Live Servers without any sort of changes or fixes.
The pole is not a bug its a feature.
(Obviously im joking)

That's a much better description of your scenario than the first try, and also a much better argument against OP's idea than some of the previous ones. Although there are workarounds to some of the pain points on the killer side, 4-man SWFS can absolutely abuse this theoretical system. Good stuff, we're finally on the same page about something :)
I would still prefer if a system where if the killer leaves the survivors for too long on ground and it says "find help" when the killer picks the survivor the wiggle progress should be filled up to half way by default on all the slugged individuals.
Its way more balanced and cant be abused and there is no point or skill needed by a killer to do so, yes to some extent this is also a viable strategy for killers to win but i see this way more in my matches where he just ditches a survivor when 1 gen left to down us all.

I'm not trying to win an argument, I was trying to explain why your original post doesn't really address OP's point, and then I was trying to explain why your other points continued to not address OP's point. Just like how right now, I'm trying to explain the whole point of everything I said in the thread
I brought up my own opinion not to "play that card" (whatever that means) but to let you know that I agree with you that OP's idea isn't that great, but still want to address the problems in your arguments.
I only said anything remotely adversarial once you had already started treating this as an argument and not a discussion - that is, once I thought you were "trying to win [an argument]."
Im just saying againts a really cordinated squad if this is not viable to do and removed there is no way to get rid of their best player that takes hits and trades.
Againts those teams the only viable thing is to make it 1 v 3.
That is my scenario

I understand a few reasons for changing the offerings, avoiding maps for Toxic builds, however that's exactly one problem I have with them already. It's a loadout & part of your build can be a specific kind of map/map situations, taking that away affected both survivor & killer, neither in a good way.
The real reason I bring this up is because with the introduction of the new TWD map variant I have had 1 game on it & never seen it since, meanwhile getting duplicate maps on 3 sperate occasions across about 6hours of playing. I am trying to complete some trophies too which require me to be on certain maps TWD one included. But I bring an offering & don't end up there EVER!
PLEASE REVERT IT BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS, or at least a happy middle ground so they're not just redundant offerings more than half the time.
I would like to second this by saying yes, bring it back but also make it killer specific like for m2 and high mobility such as teleport killers and dash traveling capabilities make the map chances in favor for larger maps, and for killers that dont have any of those abilities make it so the maps are naturally in favor for smaller maps and then the offerings should be reverted back.
But yeah this should balance things around

I was worried at start as well with my michael build but yeah as you said "useless" i wouldnt call it useless i would say people sometimes use them in really wrong places and at wrong times and i basically catch up to them and stick with them.
I had a decent team i cant tell for sure if premade or not but they did well at cordinating it while unhooking + trading hits, the healer and the unhooked guy got away and i caught up with the fog vial user

your first paragraph is genuinely so poorly written it is impossible to understand what hypothetical scenario you're trying to describe, you're going to have to make extensive edits to it in order to make it at all understandable
moreover, this is a pattern with your posts here. you claim I "lost the argument" when there wasn't even an argument going on in the first place, I was explaining why your specific objections might not hold water for someone defending OP's idea. you try to address my objections to saying people need to use "the comp playstyle" without realizing that mentioning "comp playstyle" was only a way of introducing my real point - that the game has thrived for years as a mostly casual experience and that many people want to ensure that new players and more experienced casual players alike can enjoy the game without being forced to engage with optimizing strategy every game (which should apply in equal measure to killers as well, to be clear)
I dont plan to edit anything because i wrote a scenario properly plus i have autism so stop with your insults, i dont know whats with you and always arguing and trying to win arguments.
I made my point and people saw my point and somehow you dont?

OP's proposal is that this system ONLY kicks in for a killer who hooked the same survivor twice in a row, without hooking anyone else, and is trying to hook them a third time, still without hooking anyone else. That isn't "ALL killers," that's just killers who engage in the thing OP wants to punish.
I disagree with OP's idea for my own reasons, and more broadly I personally think tunneling isn't the massive problem OP is claiming it to be, but saying this proposal affects all killers when it clearly doesn't feels misled at best and misleading at worst, and proposing "just play like a comp player" is so self-evidently disrespectful to the game's history as a casual experience.
My state still stands, because there are matches where a survivor player is being chased then injured but then the other teammate decided to take over in being chased to distract the killer, if that said player finally gets hooked and unhooked its clearly obvious the killer wants to kill "the monster dangerous player" on team first to make the match easier for them selves which is fine by me because if i go there to do that sort of thing i know i will be mained entire match with a passion because of the waisted amount of time the killer needs to feel rewarded for my mistake that i caused my self to be hooked once or twice.
The OP basically wants to fully remove this as an optional strategy for M1 killers and or some M2 killers.
Also lets please not victimize yourself or anyone else and draw that card when you know you lost the argument and point because you did defend the OP since start so dont play that card please and be respectful because i was not saying "HEY casuals go play comp dbd like tournament players do" there is so much more to the tournament players than just punishing killer for maining one singular survivor by letting them get to almost 2nd hook state by repairing gens and then go for a gen.
What i said still stands and its not even tournament level its literally common sense and logical way of playing, why would you go unhook a survivor so fast after being hooked its screaming of wanting the killer to come back way faster and could open up possibilities of killer staying nearby planning this.
Thats just way players need to play and understand to only go for calculated saves and unhooking.
I myself know its already gg if i see players swarm around my hook and waiting for killer to leave when infact they could have repaired gens while i was hooked.
Every survivor match i play when its usually not 2 swfs or 3 swfs in my lobby i get are players that instantly swarm the hooked person and letting me do all the gens alone when they could be doing at least half a gen scattered around maps for easier repairs to be done.

Do you genuinely believe that it's impossible to win without putting three hooks in a row on the same person
Listen, the main issue isnt that its slugging but then again there wouldnt be an issue with slugging if majority of players who play survivor dont end up going for bad saves when they can easily fall for traps (could be many traps not just a trap from trapper).
People on my team when i play survivor dont even try to repair gens and let one person to try and go for a save on unhook when the person is nearing 2nd stage, like hell even 2 survivor can go for a outplay even when they have punished the survivor for camping the proximity area where face camp detection wont work.
This literally is not needed what the OP and you have been defending and posted
Why should ALL killers get punished for only a handful of killers taking it to extremes where they hold a grudge againts only one survivor.
Like lets be serious about this, if that person is being tunnelled why not just punish killer by letting the survivor be chased and tunnelled and then doing gens, i myself with deja vu can single handendly do 2 gens tops if the killer is tunneling a poor singular survivor.
In tournaments this is exactly how survivors play they let one person get all the attention and they do spread out gens.
The main root cause of the tunneling is there is always going to be one experienced survivor that pisses off a killer by either flash saves, looping, stunning.
Then there is other forms of tunneling which is rare and yeah that cant be stopped and that is when someone just simply dislikes the character from a survivor or their name.
Why should killers in general be punished for what is a root cause of survivors mainly, them there should be consiquences of what you seek

You do realize that killers are supposed to have a chance to win the game, right?
They dont realize that because they think "oh so killers are mostly ability ones it shouldnt hurt them" but it will hurt the m1 killers.
I play myers only and its already unbearable how many people feel comfortable againts me even if i put zp

I played for about three hours last night and saw zero hard tunneling. The problem is vastly overblown and these sorts of heavy handed solutions are not only abusable, they are terrible game design.
Trying to make 4ks illegal is also ridiculous. I don't slug for the 4k because I don't care but if survivors had basekit unbreakable I'd juggle them up and down until they bled out from spite.
Same, for me its mostly slugging and that only happens when some low skilled players in my team (which is often) decide to go for a save instantly againts a killer that likes to camp near the hooked survivor instead of fixing gens and punishing the killer.
So generally that is usually on survivors causing their own damage.

that's the point, there are three other survivors you can go and chase and hook, so you don't need to hook that singular survivor a third time when no one else has hooks - by all means alternate tunneling two survivors if you really must to add pressure on those without hooks, but making it a 3v1 as soon as possible is a cheap way to secure a win and is unfun for that survivor.
second chance perks feels like a bandaid fix, when the issue itself should be addressed in a manner thats good for the game and doesn't particularly harm either side
Im just saying the survivor perks will need heavy rebalance, corrupt added as basekit for all killers for this to even work.
The only thing that would make sense is if the survivor is tunneled and others left to slug since the main issue here is that tunneled is usually paired with slugging, what i think is better option is if the survivor is at "find help" stage recovery then their wiggle progress should be way closer to completion half or more than half.

it seems a lot of killers play with the intent of making it a 1v3 as soon as possible to maximise the chances for a win. whilst this is a strategical approach, hard tunneling to achieve this is unhealthy for the game.
a killer should not be allowed to hook the same survivor three times in a row without hooking another survivor in that period, if a killer attempts to do so then the survivor gets boosted wiggle and any hook the killer approaches whilst attempting this will be blocked off by the entity.
this will be cancelled if:
- 90 seconds have passed (perhaps basekit unbreakable for affected survivor so killers don't wait it out)
- another survivor is hooked
now for part two! endgame slugging :( when there are two survivors left, killers seem to have the habit of leaving one on the ground whilst they chase the other to secure a 4k and get that basekit mori, the basekit mori is a fun addition to round out the game but it has been unhealthy so far. slugging with the exit gates open to force people so you can secure that final mori? absolutely fine! leaving a survivor on the ground for 3 minutes to chase another? so boring for that survivor on the floor like damn.
when there are two survivors left in the game, they should both get basekit unbreakable, to prevent slugging and force killers to pick and risk losing the 4th to hatch.
this will be cancelled if:
- one of the last two survivors die by any means
- there is a hatch offering
You are kidding right, 90 seconds until a killer can finally mori or kill the survivor?
You do realize in 90 seconds players can do 2 gens and even if you ditch that survivor and let them be on their own they can finish a gen all on their own.
