What's the matter, Sable was just going for the hatch achievement where you have to open it with a key. There is nothing wrong with going for an achievement this way. In fact her being anonymous probably saved her from abuse at the hands of people who, like you, seem to believe that everyone has to always play optimal all the time or they're a problem. The thing is… those people are intended by the game, though. They're genuinely not a problem… but the entitlement of being mad they play that way sure is a problem, and it ruins the game with elitism.

Maybe this isn't the game for you if you don't ever want random teammates to play any other way besides the way you want them to. Or maybe you should just run a 4 man SWF exclusively. I don't know what to tell you, but the fact is people are allowed to play suboptimally. You will sometimes get them in your lobbies. You alongside everyone else that has this happen to them need to be mature and skilled enough to allow them to do this, then move on to the next game.

Not a soul is actually holding anyone hostage over an adept. You can't hold someone hostage while also going for adept. You can throw for hatch going for an adept, but you can't hold someone hostage in a round. That simply does not happen, it's never happened, and I am inclined to believe you're actually just angry you're losing because someone is trying for an adept with less than optimal perks. The proper play if you see someone doing an adept when you're in a SWF especially is to… protect them and ensure they can get out so they get their adept. Use teamwork instead of prioritizing only your wins, wow! It's that simple. :)

No matter how annoying it is, the fact is that not a single shred of anything you just said is any good reason to say we need prestiges to show in the lobbies again when the benefits of not having prestiges in the lobby greatly outweigh any downsides. "I don't deserve to lose because my teammate wants to play a different way than me" is a really, really entitled take. Because it implies you believe you are entitled to a win. Nobody's entitled to win.

Thats not what happened though. Do I have to stream more proof of this bs of an excuse you are attempting to create for them?

I run the perk kindred. Guess what this player was doing all game everytime someone was hooked? Waiting in basement walking around, or in a locker.

    Not progressing generators

    Not saving anyone

    Not healing anyone.

I wont say specifically how they did not escape, but lets just say someone made sure they didnt get to do what they attempting to do. Everyone in end game chat knew what this person was trying to do.

And if the persons name was there I would have blacked the thing out, stop making excuses for this.

It sounds like you are probably the exact kind of person this change was trying to address then.

Lobby dodging because of prestige, either side, was trashy and ruined MMR. You are not entitled to easier games by dodging. You are also not entitled to decide who the MMR pairs you with based on a little number that shows how many BP have been invested in that character. You are not entitled to dodge someone who simply wants to do their goals and happens to be SoloQ, if you want a more tailored experience there is SWF for that. These players deserve a game, too. If they are in your lobby, they are in your MMR bracket. Period.

No I disagree I dont deserve, and my teammates dont deserve, to get held hostage in a game with someone whos just going to abandon the entire team so they can get whatever stupid challenge/archive/achievement.

Gameplay first. And systems need to be put in place to combat crap like this:

    idiotdbd.png

If someone is going to load in with a key, and I see this kind of crap in the end game? That means the match was decided before it even began. Same with some David trying to no mither adept achievment as well. They are not entitled to ruin normal gameplay so they can get some off beat bullshit achievement, ruining everyone elses experience in the process.

    Period.

It's only been a couple of days. I'd say we need to give it at least a month to see if matchmaking improves. Also a new chapter just came out, so yeah, the first week is typically people trying for adept. The whole point of the change was to stop lobby dodging and see if matchmaking accuracy improves. So if it's stopping you from lobby dodging then it sounds like it's working lol

I mean what they really need to do is include more information not less.

I should see the perks, items, and possibly what archives my teammates are running.

Or I run into something stupid like this:

    idiotdbd.png

I saw the person swap to a key last second. Now I wont say what happened in that match, but lets just say they never got to use their key.

  • How does me playing with people that are just going to hide and int their team so they can get their adept hatch help anything?

  • Yea I mean its 100% worse, totally called it.

Im getting held hostage by people that are trying to get adepts where I would recognize and leave the lobby before.

Possibly the dumbest change that helps noone.

  • The biggest problem with this crap, and I have already seen it now a few times.

People are spamming trying to get their adepts now, where I would recognize a p0 in a lobby and gtfo now Im held hostage by them.

Davids loading in with GOOD OL' NO MITHER, and guess how long they last in chase?

The obvious Alucards crouch hiding around the map, waiting for everyone to die….

    This was a mistake BHVR

  • The amount of times I even see a survivor bring reassurance, much less get value out of it, lets just say the perk showing up in a lobby at this point.

…I wanna say I see Twins more often that I see a single survivor even run reassurance. I think I have seen twins probably twice in several weeks.

I think I see people bring fn throw pebble more than reassurance lol.

Im not saying its not a good perk, but its only a good perk in the right hands. And those hands are extremely limited in this game.

  • If you mindlessly camp in pubs, the only reason you'll succeed is because your opponents have no clue what to do and will gladly throw the game for you if not give up right away. otherwise, you'll lose gens, get a trade, end up in a terrible position.

Thats not the "only reason". Or even a reason at all.

Solos cant communicate who to go save. Or even when its safe to save. Not all killers have a TR, even if they did have a TR, that doesnt mean everything; what about multilevel maps or walls that would make it safe?

Theres so much at play here to save from a camp on the survivors end.

Not everyone brings kindred, not everyone brings reassurance, or we'll make it. I cant see that on my end even if that is the case. I dont know my teams perks. Do you somehow?

Camping requires you to look at your screen, see an aura that tells you where the survivor you hooked is, and wait for any pixels moving around or towards the hook.

Now I dont know the solution to rid this game of this; short of making survivors that are unhooked just untouchable for 2 minutes or invulnerable. I dont see a way to really fix this.

We see a little bit of it in 2v8 where it teleports the hooked survivor somewhere else, which would be nice but there are other things that need addressing balance wise before something like that happens. And it would also need to rid the noise notification on unhook as well.

  • The amount of effort the killer has to put into camping vs the amount of effort and coordination survivors need to counter it are in no way comparable, which imo isn't good game design.

    Pretty much.

  • No stop camping the hook.

And reassurance nerf are you kidding me?

  • I mean I dont blame them. SoloQ survivors are just running out of reasons to stay in a match at this point.

  • Id agree it shouldnt be a thing at all.

Short of making survivors just immune for several minutes, I dont know how though.

Its boring to watch and boring to play on both sides of it.

  • Yea I still dont see whats wrong with either of them.

Reworked pain res is pretty chef's kiss where its at right now.

They "might" have to do something with pop in restrictions but I dont really care personally either way. I would understand if it needs to be like pain res where its limited.

Right now I think they are perfectly fine though.

This is just hilarious lmao, for the simple fact that:

    1. While unknown is a strong killer he is far more complex than artist, its skill ceiling is incredible one you use the bounce.

    2. Vecna has 4 abilities, 1 being just info , 1 being subpar mobility, other being an m2 attack that is only good if you spawn it inside survivors and a final one that is quite a useful antiloop. And yet killers that are more simple can do everything he does better, ej artist, she has info, a better m2 and antiloop, while lacking mobility she has better map pressure, and guess what, she only has 1 ability.

Its absurd to think that just because he has 4 abilities he is better than other killers, vecna and dracula with all their power combined cannot even aproach the likes of billy, nurse, blight or spirit.

    3. Finally new killers may be more complex but they are not necesarily very powerfull (they are not bad either tho), as I said even with this complex killers, old killers are still fall more powerful than them.

    1. Unknown is leagues ahead of Artist. The reason for comparison is the m2 hit, where you have the luxury of being braindead on Unknown, you dont on Artist. And you get traversal. So yea, Unknown is an ez mode Artist.

    2. Vecna has 4 abilties. A ranged attack, a free hit around a pallet grab, traversal, and a reveal. And the traversal is not subpar, thats a hard skill/knowledge issue if you think that. Artist does not even come CLOSE to this guy at all. Thats possibly the hottest take I have seen on this forum. Her info is about as bad as it gets in this game. Do you realize how close you have to be to those crows for killer instinct?

    3. New killers are more complex and more powerful. Old killers are not more powerful than any of these options.

There is a reason Artist has one of the LOWEST pick rates in this game. Because she actually takes skill. The others mentioned you can pick up very quickly. She is down with Twins, Hag, and Freddy.

  • Plague

    1: Black Incense

Honestly remove this thing, its broken to have.
Perma aura reveal on puke is a joke

    2: Iridescent seal

Dont really see an issue with it, has a good downside for its upside.

    Legion

    1: Fuming Mix Tape

Just have it increase duration of Feral. Noone wants an awkward version of surveillance.

    2: Iridescent Button

Dont see an issue, addon I dont use it personally but can be handy at that level.

  • @Grigerbest said:

I'm looking at Vecna and Dracula… Dude, their abilities feels so versatile and fun to use, I don't find them unique tho, these 2 feels like a mash of 6-7 killers that we already have in 1.

But the fact that these 2 can use their abilities differently in so many different scenarios just makes them feel pretty strong maybe even too strong (when you get used to them) and much more fun.

While it's completely fine since they are fun to play, I'm afraid that developers may push this idea of having "300" skills in 1 killer further and it may cause a big powercreep to the older ones.

Edit: Also, after playing Dracula or Vecna, people may not want to play on older killers… They are going to feel less fun, or less viable.

Maybe it's just me… I don't know. What do you think?

Yup this is the pattern they are adopting. Just piling on more and more stuff and…. hoping things work out. So far they havent.

Unknown is just a easy mode version of Artist with a teleport.

Lich has 4 different abilities. Because that apparently needed to be a thing.

Dracula is Wesker, Spirit, Dredge, and Pyramid Head all in one.

Its just a joke at this point. I play legion and plague and theres … nothing even coming close to these new killers power levels. May as well just reintroduce nurse every new killer if they insist on making these decisions.

  • Think the new healing is where it should be. Circle of healing was way too powerful.

Resurgence like another user above mentioned. Highly recommend

im going to consider that a trolling at this point, because you cant unironically be in such denial over a killer who's been out for almost a year already.

have a good day, i have nothing to discuss with you.

If you want to be dismissive by name-calling other peoples opinions, I'm not sure that is an appropriate way to respond.

If you have nothing more to discuss with people then its better to just not respond, because you dont have anything else to say to someone, apparently. But in this case you did.

Responding to someone with "I have nothing to discuss with you" is how things are conveyed in movies. Not actual conversation

  • Just want 2v8 back as well.

    More fun, easy pickup.

Devs cant balance the game at all so at least let us play the chaotic mess of 2v8 versus the joke of a base game we have.

  • For some reason they thought it was a good idea to give her an entire 4 peoples worth of hatchets.

The windup and speed changes I dont care but why does she need 7 basekit hatchets… its silly as hell. You can afford to be the worst aim in the world now.

This is on par with billy changes, we just wanted overheat gone, now we have the blue I win overdrive button. Skill expression is being taken away constantly on the killer side. I dont want them screwing with my plague, or legion like this.

Whats next, I can just get stunned and have my power still up and both powers doubling in duration?

turrets are meant to be broken by the xenomorph. knocking xeno out of power is a punishment for ignoring turrets. the reward for survivors is slowing xeno down, making it hit turrets instead of survivors.

it's a pretty simple concept to understand, really.

as for your plague example, her losing her power from pallets is also a punishment to her for not respecting pallets, which pushes her in a playstyle that makes her red puke just slightly bit more fair.

No the turrets are specifically designed to knock him out of power, "slow him down" is just another fancy way of saying that.

If you are hit by them, even for a tenth of a second, 100%, without a doubt:

    You. Should. Lose. Your. Power.

As it stands right now they dont do anything unless you stand in them for 2+ seconds. You attack them? So what an attack cooldown, is not long enough to justify keeping an anti loop ability up. You should be punished for running into them and not respecting them.

There is too much clutter in 99% of maps to even reasonably allow it still.

  • @Toystory3Monkey said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3785529#Comment_3785529

bruh, have you ever played xeno?

you MUST break turrets otherwise you lose power and get slowed.

Turrets are meant to knock them out of power. Even just a sliver of flame should IMMEDIATELY bring him out of power. I dont complain about losing my power as plague if I get stunned. Same applies here. You get flamed = you lose power.

For some reason that just doesn't translate in BHVRS balancing. He just keeps going as if they didnt do anything, still in power.

  • @Toystory3Monkey said:

they slow him down and create a distraction. incredibly good if used right.

The only person they distract are people that just picked up xeno and played him for like 10 minutes.

  • Yea I mean flame turrets for some reason do nothing to him. Its a meme at this point.

  • Because everything she can do, Unknown can do better and easier.

  • Completely outdated list so nothing based on that.

  • Way too narrow. And sometimes not even a factor ie: Nurse.

  • @fussy said:

Look, trying to show my point once again:

    • Searching for equal players takes a long time
    • People didn't like long queues
    • BHVR changed it so queues are not so long, but players are not equal also, because you can't find it so fast

While i agree, extremes like in your example are completely on BHVR, but community prefer fast over quality. No?

Prefer quality over fast. And it doesnt need to get fast to the point of putting someone brand friggen new into my lobby.

The game has the population for quality, I think the patience problem is a separate issue. Ill take some lag if it involves putting me into a different region ... whatever.

The deviation in a lobby like this just is unreasonable and should never happen.

Killer role was literally, without any exaggeration, unplayable. I remember that I lost exactly more than half of the matches (or somewhere around 80%), and each of them was unbearable and very stressful.

And I really hope this isn't true. I would honestly need footage of your play. This is something wrong on an expression level if you are losing 80% of your matches as killer. You dont run into SWF comp teams a majority of the time, no one does, so that is not the issue here. Not even the highest MMR killer mains in the world do. So this is definitely an expression issue on your end.

Really upload some footage, I need to see a killer losing 80% of their matches and have it be something out of their control.

And you dont even need the strongest killers in the game to do this. Pig "mains" dont lose this many matches even with their camp/tunnel/wait play style. Even Meyer's mains dont have this issue...

Even the top players in the world, get absolutely dunked on in their survivor SoloQ matches. Just load up any stream and watch. Watch Hens, a comp tourney survivor player, get dunked on in SoloQ, 4 genned and tunneled out of the game sometimes. But then they load up killer and easily win over 70% of their matches.

You dont even need to be a killer "main" to be pretty successful playing killer.

  • I dont see how its anyone's fault but BHVR.

Had a match where there was someone with 5800 hours, 200 hours, 74 hours, and a private. None of them were grouped up either.

So... because you saw some comments on the internet... You made a post asking why people dont like meyers? Like as if its a popular consensus? Am I getting this correct?

Care to link these by the way? Not the tier list but the people disliking him.

This game is still survivor sided if you're team is decent and does Gens. After all it's 1vs4. Agains't average survivors it can be easy to win on killer but not agains't good teams. Even average survivors still should beat you if you restrict yourself on average killer and don't play close to optimally. Or maybe pc killers can win no matter what. Killer is really clunky on console.

But I agree tcm is better balanced survivors don't have so many chances they die instantly when you get them and it's 3vs4. I almost never lose on family if my team is decent. It's definetely more killer sided than dbd and why would not it be when killer has team instead being all alone. After playing tcm it's hard to play killer on dbd again. Family is so easy on tcm and pressure free.

I win still good amount of my games in victim too with my buddy. But ramdom victims often are worser than dbd so yeah it's good you don't have to rely on them like on dbd. But we often win because family plays unoptimally, example they play johnny and sissy instead hitch and cook.

On dbd I just escaped 3 times a row on soloQ because my teammatew knew somewhat what to do. We got sweaty killers P100 huntress for example and we destroyed her just by doing gens. Then beat even blight who tunneled.

This game is still survivor sided if you're team is decent

Arbitrary "decent" and keyword in there is team. In SoloQ its just not the case when it comes to your play. Sure you are on the same team but there is hardly any teamwork. And more often than not, you have at least 1 weak link somehow, thanks MMR, in your lobby. It's not like its on purpose either, there are just ... no friggen tools to communicate/coordinate, "hey dont bring the killer here" "dont save right now just push the gens" "do this gen so we dont get 3 genned" "dont bring open-handed.. I already have it..." etc....

It also doesnt help that NONE of this is taught in the in game tutorial. Laughably, YOU SAVE THE SURVIVOR FROM THE HOOK WITH THE KILLER RIGHT THERE. It teaches you to face save.

SoloQ mishaps, whether intentional or not, happens even to people that play this as a career such as Otz, where he only had a SoloQ win rate of 39.7% across 260+ games. And that guy is higher MMR than... probably anyone that posts on the forums.

As for sided? The game is completely killer sided and it has to be, there is 1 of them and 4 survivors. The game would be unplayable if it was the other direction.

The magnitude of how sided it is though is the problem, and varies between killer(s), their addons, and maps. Most of these are just blatantly broken against SoloQ as they still are barely manageable with a 2, 3, or 4 man ie: Nurse, Billy, Blight, Scratched Mirror Lery's, Double Iri Plague, Tombstone/Piece Meyers, Trapper Midwich... etc...

Comp SWF teams who are organized that can counter even these archetypes are so rare, even for killer mains with 8k+ hours. You will see these types of matches 2 times every 10 or more games. And even then, have to hope they are at a level of comp/ get map RNG, that the killer will not just 3/4k them anyways.

Even Hens, a comp and tournament player, ques up in SoloQ and gets absolutely stomped on just like the rest of us. He gets 4 genned tunneled out by a nurse, gets outed by tricksters.. Oni's... Its not like there is some super survivor that can carry SoloQ...

TCM is a bit killer sided though in regards to ... at least family house. The rest of the maps, I think you have a good shot on the victim side of things. And as previously stated, it allows you to actually have an impact on YOUR game play based on what YOU do, rather than what everyone else is doing, like in dbd. I dont have to go int myself because some meghead wants to go down in 10 seconds and the killer is just waiting for a save. I can just work on the gates/doors and leave if I need to.

  • A killer cant be forced by anyone but themselves waiting out the EGC.

Go push them out, no uproar needed.

The role in need bonus is probably pulling all the weight here. As far as I'm aware this does apply to more than just base score.

If the BPS/Terrormisu's were in full effect your 163,800 game would have been around 790k, not 300k.

They're not having no effect, but they're not having any additional effect. Your game with 3 BP offering was 'only' 50k more than your game with 1 BP offering, which lines up with your 'base' score being somewhere around 25k.

This isn't a bad thing. It means everyone is getting more BP, without needing to run BP offerings. It just means there's no more incentive to run BP offerings now than at any other time outside of events.

For an extra ~25k, I would much rather bring a Lerys offering as Scratched Mirror Myers, 2 hook everyone, cause a ton of jump scaresn and everyone walks away with 150k+ scores. Rather than bring BPS, end up on Coldwind, get 2-3 hooks and 0-1 kills, nobody gets more than 50k, and then BPS adds about 20k onto that.

Theres a couple reasons as to why its 50k more/less.

4 less hooks = 1250*4 as each event hook is 1250 (any extra hits/activities inside the event totem area radius or stealing the orbs etc...)

And then sacrifice category as well is less on the screen (1800 difference).

There are additive differences and multiplicative differences in offerings/side bonus but ...

All in all, bringing bp offerings is completely worth. Maybe less on survivor as you cannot really control how the match will go (tunnel/camp/Try hard Double Iri Plague, DCs etc..).

For killer it absolutely is worth though.

Haven't had a match yet where

everyone walks away with 150k+ scores.

I cant control who gets what categories done or not for my opponents. I doubt with scratched mirror meyers on lery's offering survivors will get many points at all in boldness, and struggle with objectives and sharing them. Not to mention getting 3000 only if they finish a gen... Probably usual survivors jumping into locker's thinking your 99ed...

What probably happens against scratched mirror lery's; someone immediately giving up on hook when they see a Meyers perfectly tracking them on that map.

I probably wouldn't wanna deal with it can tell you that. I get a hint of mirror meyers on lery's... pfft get me out of that ASAP. That is unidirectional in terms of fun. May as well just add Lights Out back in if that's what you wanna do. Miserable experience as survivor. SoloQ is already a joke.

  • @Seraphor said:

I've learnt that bringing BPS/Anniversary cakes isn't actually any more profitable now that at any other time.

They don't multiply any of the bonus BP.

Say you get a score of 100,000 on the scoreboard. Of that score you have about 20k which would have been your typical score, 30k of bonus score events, then the +100% event multiplier that adds on another 50k.

If you bring BPS, you'll see that your total takehome BP only goes up to 120,000. It's just doubling your 'normal' 20k score.

This is going to be even more mediocre once the event multiplier reaches +400%, when your 20k 'normal score' turns into 200,000, but BPS turn it into 220,000.

That's why I'm not fussing about them, I'm saving them as survivor for when I play with my lower level friends who need the BP more, and as killer things like map offerings can sometimes be much more worthwhile if I'm playing a stealth killer for example.

Think this is a bit incorrect.. Have had a 250k match with legion with only

    Killer bonus 100%

    Community Event: 200%

    1 Terrormisu: 107%

    20240321000152_1.jpg 20240321000146_1.jpg

Had a couple 300k matches as well here's one of them

    Killer bonus 100%

    Community event 200%

    1 Terrormisu 107%

    2 Blood Party Streamers 200%

2 Staged everyone and let them go as well (4 escape)

Never played against good survivors huh? Because when you do, you get humbled pretty fast.

Assumptive, but no have challenging matches sometimes, but they are usually do to some restriction put in play by myself. Or on the other extreme end of that, comp SWF teams. These are extreme, rare, occurrences that do not show up often even for people who play this game as a career.

So what I said still stands for killer, you are left with challenging matches that YOU HAD to cause on killer since Solo's really just dont stand a chance due to a lack of systems in place..., or you go up against something that is blatantly not intended like comp SWF's. And still have a high chance at 3/4k if you play one of the stronger/broken killers ie: Blight/Nurse/Billy/Wesk/Spirit/Unknown... or use silly addons like Black incense plague or Tombstone/Piece Meyers...With the remaining majority of your killer matches ... just pub stomps.

Literally Hens, a comp tourney player, on stream against a nurse. Gets tunneled out of the game at 4 gens yesterday. So just imagine us lol.

And then again, the survivor SoloQ side is just ... a mess.

  • This is honestly where I am at with playing, especially during events. Survivor, at least SoloQ, is just becoming more and more of a dice roll on the outcome of the match. Very little to do with anything you are personally doing to ensure any fun or escaping. Everything up to ... just chance. There are SO many systems that just are not in place to restrict bad actors on the killer side of things, or even your own teammates, from completely ruining your experience.

This is something that Texas Chainsaw does so much better. Where you can play Solo and not have this MASSIVE reliance on what your team is doing.

On the killer side of things, if you understand how to play the game at a decent level, you have to start restricting yourself if you actually want a challenge. And even when you do, you still win a majority of your games to the point of it being a full stomp. You have to use one of the weaker killers... go in with no addons, maybe dont take certain perks, to really have a chance at losing as killer.

Might be time to revisit TCM, because this game is just going in a direction, especially with the latest killer changes, and addition, that the game is just a bit silly now.

  • SoloQ is just becoming more and more unplayable with every update to the killer roster, their kit, and perks as well.

Unknown is another laughable auto-pilot of a killer with 2 anti loop abilities and map traversal, literal brain dead version of artist with a teleport. Billy didn't need overdrive and no one asked for it, just take away overheat and he was fine, AKA classic Billy. Huntress didn't need all these hatchets, Clown doesn't need all these bottles, Blight still is problematic, Nurse is an unbalanced mess, SM is still broken and they all play the same, stupid broken addons that are only balanced against comp/comms teams (Stone piece, Tombstone, Black Incense, Bookmark, etc...) Ultimate handhold, Grim Embroke+DMStupid...

Literally you have to hope the killer is new or just bad at the game at this point to reasonably even have a chance at escape or have fun on solo survivor. And that's a CHANCE, as you also have to contend with other survivors on your team, WHICH YOU ARE MASSIVELY RELIANT ON, for any hope of escape. Its so aggravating, EVEN WITH KINDRED AND OPEN HANDED, being face saved in front of the killer to be tunneled out, losing pips in the process and there was ZERO you could have done to prevent it as your chances of escape were based on everyone but yourself.

I cant predict that I would need DH+DS+OTR+styptic every single match, and even if I did, the game should never get to this point.

Its not like you can report your survivor teammates for something like this either, or 3-genning your team, or leading the killer to a critical gen, or leading the killer to another injured survivor... they are just blissfully playing the game. So you end up just being stuck, and stuck, and de-pipped, and stuck again in this circle of BS that BHVR wants to just make worse with every update.

I play friendly all the time. I often only hook each survivor once if that. I avoid chasing any one survivor for too long. I have seen people escape with sub-8k in those matches. I am seeing many many survivors who do nothing but crouch around the edges of the map and don't touch gens, don't do anything except stealth around to avoid birds.

I have the same problem playing survivor as well. It's becoming more common for some reason and it absolutely sucks.

I wasn't in OP's match and can't testify to how he played, but there's more than one way for a survivor to earn nothing in a match. It's very possible that when he wasn't chasing her she wasn't actually doing anything.

If the survivor was doing nothing all match. Then how did the OP find them enough to only allow 6293 points but then everyone else has normal match points? The bot didnt even have enough time to take over to get anything either on death hook. This person was tunneled out of the game.

    Further the OP would have said something other than;

Only 1 DC and she DC'd the moment i put her on deathhook.

if they observed any hiding behavior, or afking, or throwing themselves at her at all. These aren't things you omit or forget to mention.

This also means they chased this person multiple times before the DC. And thats the score they got... 6293. Thats a hard tunnel, through and through.

If this person is crouch hiding all round then the OP wouldn't find them, and then... not get them to death hook. There would be even less score here as well. Sadly, this was not the case.

All to say that it's okay if this is how they define being friendly. Just not sure how many would agree tunneling one out of the game is being friendly, at all.

  • I guess we just have different versions of the word "friendly".

Your version includes tunneling someone. Oh well !

I could not have played more friendly. She went down within 20 seconds all the time, fully healed of course. To put it simple, she was not a good teammate.

Doubtful. If you played "friendly" that player would have more points than that by simply doing a single gen and you going for others instead of them. You hard tunneled this one, you even said they DC'ed on deathhook.

Why are you getting someone to stage II that did so little in the round if you're playing "friendly"

Unfortunate post I guess. Very odd indeed.

6k points looks like this person was tunneled.

Not anything to do with SM

  • Lol B tier..... Wow

For reference B tier includes killers such as:

Pinhead, Demo, Trick, Knight, Slinger, Doc, Wraith

He is at least an A tier killer.

Absolute cope to think someone with an easier......

    scratch that.....

    BROKEN version of Artists crows,

and massive, INSTANT, map traversal is anything but less than A tier.

Literally has 2 anti loop abilities.

  • Survivor, not even a question. Best players in this game, that play this as a career, have less stress on killer. So no one here stresses on killer, unless its a massive skill issue. Survivor you have no control over anything, doesn't matter how many hours or experience or tournaments. Solo survivor is the worst experience in this game.

I don't think you should be able to

    A) Escape from a trap. survivor should automatic a survivor into dying state. This empowers SWF gameplay and action so simple that even soloq can save teammates caught in traps.

    2) Be able to disable traps in 2 seconds. trap disarming should be unrewarding mechanic. Trap disarming should take 20 seconds. Current mechanic Empowers SWF to just follow trap and disarm his power into an m1 killer and the action is so simple that a single soloq play could do it. Most don't do it but it doesn't change fact that SWF vs trapper is unfun gameplay experience.

Both of these are hilariously broken

20 seconds to disable a trap would make it so noone would even bother. Thats longer than a dull totem by the way.

  • This is a perfect case of a less terrible option, and not a good option. But I would agree with the OP it should just be in the game. Plenty have said this feature is already in DBD mobile? I dont play mobile games so I wouldn't know.

As many have pointed out, yea you will have people that dodge lobbies if they see problematic perks... or non meta things etc...

Would also be an issue if you last minute switched your perk to ... outsmart the lobby dodgers, but then you would be stuck with cntrl+alt+del if someone on your team sees you do it lol.

But not having it results in games where you are paired with unnecessary stacked perks like multiple open handed's and what not. Or multiple proves but you dont know who has it until its too late. Or people not understanding someone who brings reassurance/We'll make it, will more likely designate themselves the priority unhooker... Or people that dont have a loadout at all, which ends up in matches that ... you just give up since someone on your team is doing some meme challenge for their viewers that you have no control over.

As I see it, there are more problems of NOT having it than having it in the game. Would rather just deal with the less terrible option than to keep SoloQ in its horrible position that it already is.

  • Im just about done going against Billy after Billy after Billy. These developers just cant seem to stop over buffing things to absurdity. Next on the block is huntress like what do you want survivors to even play against anymore?

Like I am at a point that I would take a skull merchant match over a Billy match as its just starting to get old.

Noone asked for overdrive and this ridiculous turn rate and speed and reapplication of power, they just wanted old Billy back ie: no overheat.

Now you have old billy + overdrive its so skill less and boring to go against. There's a reason so many of the killer players have decided to start playing this thing.

  • Red Herring hands down.

Such a troll perk to take lol. And you would have no idea that your teammates are on the gen.
