  • At this point OP you are just engaging in targeted harassment.

Its one thing to disagree with someone but this back and forth exchange with you including:

•Profile diving my twitch and bringing up years old videos as ad hominem attacks not related to your thread.
•Lying and misrepresenting posts people make.
•Cherry picking peoples opinions that dont align with yours and invalidating them, rather than disagreeing with them.
•Accusing others of a certain play style to discredit what they have as an opinion
•Assuming other peoples MMR to discredit what they have as an opinion
•Assuming what people "main" or play or dont play to discredit what they have as an opinion
•Telling others you dont "want to hear from people like you"
•Passive aggressive misquoting of someone with things like "bluh bluh not my problem"
•Admitting that you dont want to engage in good faith with this quote "Do you really think after this I willl try to actually have decent arguement with you? "
•Refocus your thread entirely on one person rather than moving on with a simple "I disagree" type of post.

You are just on a one man smear campaign doing everything you can you invalidate someones opinions.
All the examples I gave for a reason for not showing everything to people on this forum; you have done towards me in this thread.

You are EXACTLY why noone should reveal too much because no matter what is shown to you, you will shift goal posts much like your redefining of tunneling above and silly micro, false and lying by the way, critiquing of footage given.

And you will do it for multiple pages.

I dont need to answer how many hours I play what and what role to give my opinion.
I dont need to answer what my builds were and what killer I played to give my opinion.

You say you have ~600 hours in this game?
I have more hours just in the killer role ALONE than your total hours.

Should I discredit everything you have to say like you are attempting to do with me?

Sable squad/RPD gang vod beating me

I didn't read the description closely enough. I was watching the Sable squad match and the whole time I was like 'how does he lose this?!'

Then I realized there were two trials 😋

Yea A LOT of mistakes happened in that RPD match but they were also very aware of me despite undetectable and monitor

  • You are now editing your post and adding things to say which is just showing me how much you are not concerned with an open discussion.

U linked this stream to this discussion. You reffered to them when I asked for actual proofs, and now 'it wasn't even linked to you'

    How convinient.

For context that reply was for:

and according to your streams from last year,

I did not link you to any pig matches from over a year ago in this thread. Your post is titled "Your opinion about current killer state"

This is a clear ad hominem attack on someone. I linked my skull merchant matches from the other night, not my pig matches from over a year ago to a thread asking about CURRENT killer state.

You profile dived my twitch to "dig up", selectively by the way, anything you could to discredit anything I have to say about current day killer state.

No need to guess your MMR. You hide the good half and on streams survivors playing mid and you tunnel them :/
No need to guess what killer to play, cause you hide it :/
No need to guess your hours of play, cause ugh, you hide it.
No need to guess how you are playing, your sm experiment showed it and thats not funny at all :/

You're right there is no need. Its not required to leave an opinion in an open discussion on the forum.

But you did it anyways. Multiple times even.

(they were all being knock down in a few seconds). Someone posted here about "people don't want to take screenshots as an arguement only because it despises by killer mains. Indeed, not because half of them was blurred and person dont want to tell why.

That’s consistent experience u don’t want to show, and according to your streams from last year, u block survivors if they escape u and type cheeky messages on endgame , or u slug until someone dc as pig on rpd if players shows some resemblance of skill level. I’m sorry, but streams u posted aren’t about facing insanely good survivors…. They working against you. Where u play as merchant on rpd tunneling claudette and got other hook only by camping in endgame. No one will actually believe in your insane experience with such way.

I don’t want to hear killer is easy from people like you, who hides part of their stats and show mid gameplay without actually sweaty lobbies on stream. Other people here proved in a better way. Other killers said it in other way. And they don't hide they are using unfunny strategies

The only consistent thing u are in, I’m sorry, trying to play around my words. Like, I commented about nurse and noed 4 post ago, two times told u it was humorous comment and u still “don’t know why it was said”. Like, I two times in a row told u why, stop being clingy to insignificant words and answer the question directly. Show your consistent experience in reality by sharing hours of gameplay. Come on. Or u’ll try to catch up by one phrase again in search of deep meaning, hiding your true consistent experience?

    No tunnel/camp/slug.

U told about this and yet somehow on streams there are games where 4 hooks and three belongs to already dead person. Don't get me wrong, opinion about killer side game is absolutely valid, until you dont hide killer stats or post in comments one thing, while actually doing another. Just question yourself why you are the only person I put myself in arguement with and realise sth, while about 5 people replied 'killer is so easy' and I'm fine with their pinion

This discussion has revealed itself to

    not be

"Leave an opinion everyone on the state of killers"

    To

"I dont want to hear killer is easy, and if you say it is I will do everything I can to dismiss everything you have to say, by guessing your MMR, what type of killer you play, how many hours you play, what kind of main you are, and scrutinizing everything you have to say or show"

The conversation seems less about genuinely sharing perspectives and more about filtering out views that don’t align with the idea that killer is hard.

Rather than acknowledge my opinion with a simple "I disagree but to each their own" type of response; we have a full 2 page audit of everything I have to say or show. Culminating in guessing my MMR, my hours, my main, my other killer players….

You are also lying about claudette being tunneled in that match. You either dont know what tunneling is, or think I went out of my way, ignoring everything to get rid of her in the match. I even chased several people and hooked someone else before stumbling on her.

I have 0 info perks so I couldn't even tunnel her if I didnt camp the hook. Which I didnt do. I randomly found her every time.

If you are going to dissect someones video, at least do it in good faith. Not straight up lie.

You now are actively telling me that my opinion does not matter and in your direct words:

I don’t want to hear killer is easy from people like you

and according to your streams from last year

You also went out of your way to look at videos I didnt even link ever to you ; a year ago to use as an ad hominem attack in conversation. Why are you bringing up pig videos from over a year ago? What does that have to do with your thread?

Your thread literally has in its title.

    > > >current< < < killer state.

I am going to go ahead and report your thread since it seems you are set on focusing on all of these things rather than accepting an open dialogue and discussion, even when people disagree with you.

I literally played on singularity first time yesterday, and there 0 prestige on survivors or they put pallets down after taking a hit. Worst mistake ever. MMR on every killer is unique, and u’ll 100% get more casual and simple players on the first time. The highest kill rate usually if u cracked on your main or it's relatively fresh mmr killer.

I’m glad to hear some team beat you. Few posts ago you told that’s so easy. Play more to deal with it, what I supposed to do with that information if you put stream as an example of your point and survivors in 70% of playtime doing primitive mistakes and literally wasting time in a loop until they lose health state by the drone? I see what I see, no wonder why the game was so easy

NOED was joke. If u know noed worked on her long time ago and seeing her with this perk is basically a meme. I played 2v8 as ghostie, I know her special attack are useless on exposed status.

As well as hex blight, cause he doesn't need it to win and one of the best killer to use dms + surge. I don’t know why I have to explain it…

Maybe I didn't brought anything “new” to discussion, as well as you brought nothing to this particular discussion. Only some play on SM against fresh players and weirdly used it as argument of easy killer play. Congrats?

Now instead of normal discussion and direct answers to questions I asked long time ago we have aggression here and an attempt to find someone else's mistake when they point out their own. I don't want to be banned from this forum because of senseless insults, I also don't want to communicate with a person who can't stand an opinion that disagrees with him and instead of direct arguments uses off topic :/ Have a nice day

Again, there’s a safety mechanism in place when you play a killer for the first time, you don’t start at 0 MMR. It places you slightly below your actual MMR to avoid smurfing. (if you have played another killer that is)

None of this is required in order to share an opinion on the state of killers.

Noone knows their MMR and it doesnt matter in the end.

    From your own OP

I would like just hear opinion of others, either it's survivor or killer, —→with more or less experience in game as me. ←—

My experience with Skull Merchant is just one example. I’ve played other killers too, and my point isn’t based on just one session. It’s based on consistent experience over time.

I included gameplay out of good faith, not because I needed to “prove” anything, but to participate meaningfully.

NOED was joke. If u know noed worked on her long time ago and seeing her with this perk is basically a meme. I played 2v8 as ghostie, I know her special attack are useless on exposed status.

NOED on nurse was about…. over 2 years ago. And I dont know why it was said, and it was never popular anyways.

None of which is relevant to leave an opinion on the state of killers. Or required.

Same thing can be said about whatever "hex blight" even means. Did not ask, has no relevancy to your thread.

Maybe I didn't brought anything “new” to discussion, as well as you brought nothing to this particular discussion. Only some play on SM against fresh players and weirdly used it as argument of easy killer play. Congrats?

Pretty much everything I put into my bullet points on why hid information in the post of what the killers I played were or what build YOU went ahead and did.

    Here they are for reference:

All unreasonably asked because the thread was never about freely expressing opinions in the end. Instead it was finding every avenue to dismiss and pick apart opinions that dont align with killer being hard. Its just unfortunate.

Cause on lower MMR playing killer incredible simple.

Nevermind, I already watched your streams. Survivors there really on.. sad level. No wonder why u say it's easy, maybe the cause in region differences or you indeed new player on SM.

Okay classic dismissal response. Didnt actually have an answer for anything, and in the end showing you just want to "critique" gameplay through dismissing people.

You have managed to not really bring anything new to the forums in terms of honest discussion sadly.

I doubt you watched the team that beat me in the… 10 minutes it took you to respond to me.

As well as any part of the stream you said didn't exist that is 2 hours+ long, that you somehow are now watching.

    Some advice:

MMR doesnt 100% reset down to 0 when swapping to a new killer there is a safety mechanism in play for that. Your mmr goes just below what normally have on your other killers and then normalizes after a handful of matches (5-6 depending on wins/losses).

Do you have a nurse hiding there with NOED

Nurses dont use NOED because special attacks dont work through expose. It requires a basic attacks. NOED is a useless perk on nurse.

    Blink attacks are special attacks.

Nothing needs to be shown to give an opinion on the forum. That is extra that is nice to have if someone is willing, its not a requirement.

    1) You can comment however you want, but people will not have fewer doubts from this.

    2) You certainly did not provide more data than anyone else here. The stream you are talking about is not available in the discussion. The only evidence is the match history results, where everyone except SM is blurred. And the statistics on survivors (and again, we return to the weird culture with off topic posts you mentioned ).People will draw false conclusions and accuse, this cannot be changed.

    3) People in the comments themselves stated that they are survivor mainers. They themselves stated this or that, and the only assumptions that are built from me are around you, because "the only one who provided the best data" has referred to a couple of screenshots and a stream, which is not even linked to. Others have evidents from their screenshots, statements and words. Other killers provided either detailed statistics of their hours played, or a history of matches with a wide variety of killers.

    4) Your evidence is literally the history of matches on SM, which you tried out of enthusiasm. That's all. This does not reflect the picture of MMR. This does not reflect the picture of the general situation. This doesn't reflect my question of general killer state. At the same time, you make statements like that the whole side of the game is incredibly simple. Your stream, your games simply reflect the first games on mana, which you are not used to. Since each killer has an individual MMR, and you yourself said that you are not an experienced player on her, ten games are not able to reflect reality, no way.

    5) If you do not want false conclusions to be made for you, first, start giving a complete picture and not pretending to provide it, do not make loud conclusions or do not try to draw conclusions for people yourself. This simply becomes rude communication, because any attempt by me to directly ask the question "why can't you give full data" turns into rudeness, attempts to latch on to certain phrases and already move on to accusations of "you're probably new to the game, yikes” when I make humorous assumptions about what you are hiding.

I will repeat the question: why are you hiding any data of killer matches and the total number of hours besides SM, while talking about the easy position of killers. If instead of a direct and simple answer there will be another "what I want, that's what I say" or another attempt to turn my own words against me, I will prefer not to answer at all. Because there will definitely be no adequate dialogue. It’s already become aggressive, to be honest.

    1) You havent been on the forums long enough, people doubt no matter what.

    2) Yes I did and yes it is, page 2 halfway down the page. Right there linked.

    Complete 10 match vod
    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2518187040

Sable squad/RPD gang vod beating me
    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2518276119

    3) In 3 pages you have had 2 people say they play survivor more than killer.

Where are all these survivor mainers you are talking about?

Why does this matter on "your opinion on the state of killer"?

    4) Again why does MMR matter? Why do I need to give you a MMR in order to have an opinion?

How does MMR and "your opinion on state of killer" connect?

How do you know your MMR?
    How do you know mine?

Why do I need to play a number of games specifically with SM to have an opinion that matter?
Why do I need to play a number of games specifically with killer to have an opinion that matter?

Do you think I havent played any other killer in the game?

Why does any of this matter to have an opinion on the state of killer in the end?

    5) Again I dont need to provide anything to give an opinion on this forum. That is all just extra from someone who is willing. You're extremely lucky to have someone like me or anyone post stats to show their perspective on things.

I will repeat the question: why are you hiding any data of killer matches and the total number of hours besides SM, while talking about the easy position of killers.

I have already answered this question.

Why does it matter what hours I have to answer "opinion on the state of killer"?

I would like just hear opinion of others, either it's survivor or killer, with more or less experience in game as me.

This is a direct quote from your first page.

Why do you need to know any of these things to answer this?

  • @tes said:

I'll explain it again: your specific opinion is not supported by anything. That's why I was ready to take my words back if it was supported by enough experience playing on the killer. Other surv mains provided at least something valid that supported their opinion. Or their opinion did not require support at all, because it is an abstract position. I replied to different comments including various people, and as you noticed, only you received message about “so sad half of the people are just manipulating by other side”. It was a hint. Unfortunately, used as a way to get away from the topic that for some reason you cannot provide complete screenshots (while accusing people of mistrust).

"Manipulation" is not only distorting numbers or misrepresenting words. It is hiding part of something. And then, the most amazing thing - to accuse of weird culture is actually weird. Showing a game on SM, on which you obviously do not have much experience playing, and using this as an argument for an "easy game" is manipulation. Because, obviously, my discussion asked about the general situation, and not ten games on the killer where the mmr is unknown. This whole argument can be resolved with simple screenshots of the full picture, but you refuse to provide it. It is your right and I’m fine with it. It is only my right to say that in this case the position is absurd . What is the idea of hiding data from other matches? Do you have a nurse hiding there with NOED or hex blight? Why hide data on the total number of hours played on the killer if your whole point is that it is very easy to play? You do not give an explanation for this, and when a person makes limited conclusions, you are offended and accuse him with choosing preferred sides.

Killer doesn't have abnormal kill rate. Only three killers have av kill rate above 60%, and only because it is hard for new players to understand their power. Bunch of them below 50%. You provided screenshot where your survivors has escape rate above 66%. Yes, nothing with the strength until it is not nurse or blight with hillbily. Survivors losing by killer taking advantage of their miscommunication usually. Or they got unfair mmr lobby

I'll explain it again: your specific opinion is not supported by anything.

    3 things

    1) My opinion doesnt need to be supported by anything. Open discussion is open discussion.

    2) It is supported by more than anyone here.

I gave matches as evidence; I dont come at this from one angle, as well as a 2 hour + stream. Show me someone who provided 2 hours+ of game play to justify their opinion? Anyone?

No-one but me here did. Lets keep things truthful here.

    3) I didnt have to post any of this to have an opinion. You are very mistaken if you think this is a requirement to have an opinion on the forums.

Again I dont know how you know who is maining what. Unless someone is telling you this, you are just assuming this. And ultimately it doesn't matter. Its not relevant to this discussion.

Im not accusing others of mistrust, these are direct things that have been said to me, not just in this thread, but multiple. Theres no accusation of these things on this forum. These are real responses that are even in your own thread.

And you even do it at the end of your statement here with the "hex blight" and "NOED nurse" comment. Which ill touch on below.

"Manipulation" is not only distorting numbers or misrepresenting words. It is hiding part of something. And then, the most amazing thing - to accuse of weird culture is actually weird.

    What?

I said the culture on this forum of dismissing others and questioning them based on unrelated topics is wierd.

And you literally do it at the end of your discussion, by accusing me of playing blight or nurse. But it gets so much worse with the nurse accusation because you attached a perk she would NEVER run.

Showing a game on SM, on which you obviously do not have much experience playing, and using this as an argument for an "easy game" is manipulation.

A game? It was 10. And there were multiple hard ones in there, one of which I lost. You make it sound like I have 0 transferable skills from playing killer for several years onto SM.

Yea I dont understand her power fully, but I definitely know how to play a stealth killer.

Because, obviously, my discussion asked about the general situation, and not ten games on the killer where the mmr is unknown.

You dont know the MMR of anyone that responds to your thread. Why is it important what MMR someone has now? Does their opinion not matter if they dont have it high enough?

Do you have a nurse hiding there with NOED

    Okay …. yikes.

I think its probably best that you stick to your topic rather than worry about all these other things. The discussion is about "your opinion about current killer state"

Someone is freely able to leave what they believe, they dont have to justify it with anything either.

  • @tes said:

@ChuckingWong I don't forbid people to reason, and most of the comments here from surv mainers from the position of a killer are absolutely acceptable. As you can see, I didn't write anything to them and didn't even try to dispute their opinions, because they don't even raise doubts. But that's only because they don't try to hide some of the statistics, make big statements like "specific side is so easy I don't need to do *this*" and then blame people in weird culture for not being able to trust your opinion.

Everyone has the right to express their opinion and I trust them, as long as they don't refuse to give a detailed argument and start manipulating data. The person who says that 4k shouldn't be pursued by killers and that it's toxic has a clear position, and there's no point in blaming him for that, even if I don’t agree. He wants game being fun for both and he has right for this. Other survivor mainer who also has p100 nemesis also has an opinion that would seem completely disadvantageous to me, but I agree with him because his position is consistent and supported by his stats and valid arguments.

But I'm sorry, there's zero trust in your point because your statements are unambiguous, they appeal to statistics that are partially hidden and the only explanation is "I've already provided enough, but evil people don't trust me." You are literally the only person on discussion I don't completely agree with.

I'm very happy with most of the comments. It helped me come to the conclusion that the game is really killer sided. But the reason is not the killer's strength, but in a terrible solo, which ghoul nerfs will never help, while hard sfw don’t leave chance to you. In fact, a strange mmr system and an attempt to balance the game by limiting both sides leads only to an limitation of a challenge, while the outcome of the game is quite clear. Is this the fault of the killers? Unlikely. Do they continue to nerf them? Yes. Does this help make life easier? Regular players never. Maybe for sweaty sfw only

Then why did you say this?

If you are a 50/50 player, just show it and I am ready to apologize and take back my words, cause I don't want to insist being “abs right”.

    surv mainers

How do you know this? Where are you getting this information that anyone here "mains" one side or the other unless they tell you?

Everyone has the right to express their opinion and I trust them, as long as they don't refuse to give a detailed argument and start manipulating data.

Theres nothing manipulated about it. Its just hidden. As its not relevant what killer or build was played to get the result. That's withholding information.

Manipulating data would be if I just put in random values and said thats what I got. Or did some crazy photoshop to make it look nice.

I literally have a video behind my data.

And even if it was nurse or ghoul (I would never) or blight….

How does that not make the state of killers easy when two of these killers have a high pick rate and kill rate? Thats literally the state of the game currently.

    Which is directly contradicting this:

But the reason is not the killer's strength

You think the killers, who are popular right now and have high kill rates, have nothing to do with their strength?

It helped me come to the conclusion that the game is really killer sided.

How does the game being easier as a killer player or not say anything about how sided the game is?

I feel like this post is off on a tangent that is unrelated to your thread.

  • no.

In end of my post I asked both survivors and killers, that's true.

But I thought it was quite logical to conclude that it is much wiser for a survivor to share their experience of playing as a survivor against a killer, rather than changing positions. It is also strange, as when killers say that they rarely tunnel solo/the meta for survivors is too strong, and in order to prove their position they move from their chair of experience in the form of 7k hours on a killer and go to experience a crystal new MMR on survivors, where they are against killers with a much smaller understanding of the gameplay. I do not like when killers think that it is unfairly easy for survivors, and as arguments they cite their rare matches on survivors. I do not like the opposite situation as well, because playing true 50/50, I understand perfectly well that this is a substitution of concepts. I was convinced of this live, when at first I watched the gameplay of my friend for a killer (he is a killer mainer) and for a survivor. The level of play is often opposite. He was dying because of his inexperienced teammates, but in the chase with the killer, the killer felt quite helpless.

You are asking a pretty straightforward question in your title and at the end of your post.

Peoples opinion on the state of killer and I gave it.

You then say in this post:

Maybe it was naive for me that survivors mains would talk about survivors and killers mains about killers. If you are a 50/50 player, just show it and I am ready to apologize and take back my words, cause I don't want to insist being “abs right”.

So … what do you want?

Only killer pure players to answer to your post or everyone? You think that everyone is just a "main" with some massive bias to whatever time they spend the most on?

Why does it matter to you what a person plays and the answer they give you?

    Note:
•Im not sure you are allowed to tell others if they can respond or not based on what they play, or however many hours they have, or what role they have. The forums is a place for open discussion regardless of what people play.

Again this feels like a common dismissal tactic given on the forums. "well you only have x hours on this role, so your opinion doesnt matter"

I clearly play killer, so my perspective is not just a survivor one. I dont have to justify my answers to an open discussion by what I play.

  • Oh and the 50/50 thing yea I never claimed I evenly play both sides. Or why that would be relevant

Your post is titled "the state of killer"

Doesnt really have anything to do with survivor.

Unless this is another dismissal tactic where you want to see someones hours on killer and survivor and then say something like "well you only play X hours on killer, so your opinion means nothing"

To which I would say "I just played two days straight of killer and streamed one of them, can I play the other role please?"

not to mention a lot of killer is just waiting in que nowadays. These skull merchant matches have like 2 survivor matches worth of time between them.

Obviously, you don't main her, and your first hundred games will be easy.

This is not true in the slightest.

Cause it’s easy manipulate by match history. I could easily say “look, my rebecca escaped so frequently , means it’s so cheesy to play survs”. Of course not. It’s just a solo queue where my teammates wasn’t complete potatoes. And killer failed at tunneling even. I put my average stats just as way to provide more clear image. My phead showed great results yesterday as well, but it doesn’t reflect my actual killrate and that I still learning:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/YOZ6W9YN1X8Z/img-9647.png

I can go further and provide another manipulation by stats showing this:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/AWK52995AUGY/img-9646.png

Does this mean ghostface killer is stronger than pyramidhead? I heavily doubt…

So same with other kinds of stats. It’s so easy to manipulate by any kind of numbers (and that’s why we still don’t have a decent MMR). The most brutal killers by av stats are nightmare and Lich. Does it reflect the actual state of the game and meta? Surely not.

That's why it’s important to show kill rate and total hours (and not blurring other killers), cause even with such stats we still never get an actual picture of the situation. Tbh the only person who provided some resemblance of clear killer stats is oecrophy. And oecrophy was pretty honest saying that their killer tunnels, slug, etc. And yet, they considered that their stats weren’t good for showing actual pictures during matches.

No one doubts your skills, but to think "there is no reason" to show the full picture is partial manipulation. If you have many hours on killers and even on high mmr you easily win without tunnelling or camping - my congratulations, you are actually a top player. No reason to hide it

Your survivor rate is impressive as well, and I actually believe in it. Especially if consider broken matchmaking, “easy killers”, and that you don’t cheese on them by playing selfish. Others here pointing on survivor e rate as below 40%.

And again, everything leads to the point “Game is killer sided until u have lobbies where at least one person is a huge burden for others or they ”cheese”.

Cause it’s easy manipulate by match history. I could easily say “look, my rebecca escaped so frequently , means it’s so cheesy to play survs”. Of course not. My phead showed great results yesterday as well, but it doesn’t reflect my actual killrate and that I still learning:

Yea the difference comes though in my case when I, make public even, a several hour stream of what happened. I also post constantly on this forum of clips, other matches, so people generally have a good idea where I land on loadout and "skill" I suppose.

As well as playing both sides.

Average screenshots though can be manipulated just as badly.

Just on my survivor alone. Youll take my word for it, that I havent just been giga hiding, bringing a key every time, dropping it in basement and using clairvoyance to escape more often. Sandbagging my teammates in the process.

But then you wont take my word when I dont show you my killer loadouts. For my matches.

Gotta be equally vigilant about these things. Both are just as easy to manipulate.

A hint to some of those matches I whited out though. Some of them are carryover from last night. I literally whited out skull merchant win matches that even have film behind them 😂

Does this mean ghostface killer is stronger than pyramidhead? I heavily doubt…

Your kill rate differences between your killers can have a lot of reasons. But the only thing you can really say is
"I have a higher kill rate on ghostface than on pyramid head"

    Thats all those numbers mean.

That's why I tried to create such discussion, to see less manipulation of number and hear actual opinion of surv/killer mainers, but somehow half of the comments is seemed full of people who playing other side, but commenting other. Maybe it was naive for me that survivors mains would talk about survivors and killers mains about killers. If you are a 50/50 player, just show it and I am ready to apologize and take back my words, cause I don't want to insist being “abs right”. I still don't even deny that solo queue is terrible, I just don't think it's the killers' fault and that their role actually easy.

This is right and spot on about why many of us hesitate to show everything, we've seen how it plays out.

There’s a consistent pattern on this forum, pretty much a culture actually, where anyone presenting evidence or experience from one side gets hit with a barrage of assumptions:

    Heres some of mine:

    •“You probably tunneled.”
•“You were playing Nurse/Blight” (even when I have footage showing I am not LOL)
    •“Those were low MMR survivors.”
    •“Matchmaking is broken.”
•“Show your stats, but I won’t show mine.”
•"Oh the survivors were just bad"
    •"Insert unfair critique here"

It's a problem. No matter how much someone or I shares, the response is often shifting goalposts or outright dismissal, without any willingness to provide counter evidence. It becomes a one way conversation. With you putting yourself out there, and then nothing in return.

At some point, you gotta realize that showing enough is the only reasonable approach, especially if the other side won’t meet you halfway at all and just question everything.

It’s frustrating, but unfortunately, there's a weird culture on this forum around it.

Good faith conversations are a two way street.

And again, everything leads to the point “Game is killer sided until u have lobbies where at least one person is a huge burden for others or they ”cheese”.

What "sided" the game is, isnt really relevant to your discussion.

The post you have going though is the state of killer. And I believe its about as easy as it can get currently. Even with low tier killers.

    With that though:

    Multiple things can be true:
•The game can be super easy for killers, easiest its ever been (in my opinion)
    •Skull merchant needs attention badly

Just because I think the state of killers is generally easy, doesnt mean I dont think specific killers need work done to them.

For the matchmaking thing though its just another form of dismissal.

Saying that killer is only easy because matchmaking is broken is wayyyy oversimplified.

Using that as a blanket excuse to dismiss why killer feels easy or hard is just not realistic. Matchmaking is broken for everyone, not just one side or person. It's not like one player is getting perfectly balanced matches while the other is dealing with massive problems. Everyone has to deal with this horrific system they have.

I was just wondering why other options are hidden besides SM and you didn’t show killer play hours yet? Results are impressive anyway ! What builds do you usually use?

No real reason to show it. Was stated before in a previous answer to someone whos not with us anymore it seems.

30-day survivor screen though: Not sure what day I am on.

    image.png

The difference for survivor is though you can crank as much as you want, if you have a weak link on the team, you just lose and most likely wont escape.

No matter HOW hard you try, its just too bad so sad.

You can do some real piece of poo stuff like bring a key though and stealth it out to like "inflate" your stats though. Me personally I dont do that.

Your escape rate and win rate are very VERY different on survivor. While on killer they are more in line with eachother, different but less deviated from eachother.

  • Yea killer is just so easy compared to survivor. These days you just constantly get 3/4k and dont even need to have anything really going for you.

Can even be on a bad map or low tier killer, the lowest even, and just win constantly.

    image.png

    image.png image.png

Its just too easy on one side of the game.

  • Nurse. Why I dont touch her anymore. Gathering dust.

    image.png

Games already unfair for survivors at this stage of the game, and nurse just rubs their face in it.

  • Endless suffering

    Misery incarnate

Too much distance, no cooldown, too fast… dropping power after a leap with seemingly no downside….

    End our pain already

I even had a couple squads early on. One flashlight sable squad that was out to get me as well. Took care of em ♥

Think I had a squad though on RPD and they just were on it. The guys on RPD were hyper aware they were having none of the stealth techniques and unique pathing I was making.

    They outplayed me massively :D.
    Was fun though!

I have been assimilated into the SM gang though I like this killer. ♥♥♥

That picture can't be THAT old unless the map has been hit again since Houndmaster.

You can load custom matches on badham variations. That fence doesnt exist like that anymore.

  • School could definietely use some work but not a complete removal of everything in the process. I think the pendulum doesnt need to swing so hard that we just get another hadonfield. Which the OP seems to be pushing to happen.

A bit too much OP scale it back a bit. School definitely needs work but not THAT much work.

Thought Garden was kinda ass for everyone.

Eyrie is just too open still, unfortunately.

Toba's biggest advantage is the size of the map imo. The loops aren't good, but it's not easy to control the map.

The Game is absolutely Killer-sided depending on the Killer. Obviously, Trapper is going to have a bad time.

    Hawkins is wildly Killer-sided.

Gas Heaven really depends on what tiles spawn, imo.

Would agree with this with some notes.

Garden is… kinda poo for everyone. Agreed

Eyrie is survivor sided. Main is too safe, safe loops in mid. And then you have killer shack that is also super safe with it connecting usually to another filler, and then a TL back to main. Somethings gotta give with eyrie at some day.

Toba is killer heaven. You have main as survivor and then just a bunch of question marks everywhere else. Dead loop central

The game depends on the killer, and is probably a bit more killer sided when we factor out the obvious bad choices which is an extreme minority of the full killer roster.

Hawkins as stated by others, bunch of dead pallets masking as safety. Easy mid to hold and force survivors to complete upstairs and the portal room. Very killer sided.

Gas heaven is pretty balanced from what I can tell. McMillans and Autohavens are my favorite maps on both sides.

    @TxQ said:

today i played M1 killer on badham, and it was very painful, 1 building and it has 4 windows and 1 safe pallet!.

And let's not forget the very long fence.

It's a very awful map with very powerful loops. Any average survivor will chain the loops with the perk Windows of Opportunity and make it very tough for the killer.

Then why did you hide the killer you played as? + the build and addons?

    weird.

Its not really wierd. Its strategic. For a few reasons:

    1) Goal post shifting
I could have posted any killer in the game and be met with "well you probably played X way" or "you must just only face x kinds of players"

I could have posted a perkless hag game 3 times, a perkless trapper twice, several plague games brown addons only, artists games, never sleep legion games…

And the goal post will shift. No reason to give information like that when its not really relevant as no strong S tier killer was used. As the tier would then shift to A tier, and then B, and so on.

    2) The opposing side provides nothing

Im not going to give all the information and not be met halfway with the issue. Sort of what my first response was to @I_Cant_Loop. Ill provide enough that I think is relevant, but if I see one side of the argument intentionally hiding or never showing any information then ill provide what I think is enough until I see something from them/the other direction.

Im not going all in and revealing everything, when I am not even getting anything in the first place; thats a good way to circle back to reason 1 above.

Two way conversations requires some good faith in both directions for that kind of information. Not one side giving all the information and the other side just "critiquing"

You’re one of the only people on this forum that actually backs up their “killer is too easy” opinion with proof, which I respect. Many others who claim that claim killer is too easy will deflect or make excuses when challenged to do the same because they don’t play killer at all.

The demand for “proof” usually isn’t about evidence. It’s just a way to put the burden entirely on the other person while never actually offering a counter.

Ive never seen the opposite shown from the killer side of things, not one poster has had any stats to share for killer that would suggest they are in such a dire state. Or video, nothing.

The only thing I ever see in return is, “Well here’s team elysium”. Which is essentially telling people to "just get good, steph curry hits 25 points a game" while everyone here is playing pickup basket ball at our local gym.

If we’re really talking balance, the thing we all engage with when we press the "Play" button on our screens for dbd, then both sides should be bringing something to the table.

Not speculating on tournaments we dont take part in, the games not balanced around, and not where the skill level any of us are probably even close to.

Otherwise, it's just a bunch of what if's until someone wins an argument on the internet.

  • I vote @GeneralV sets up community SM matches.

I havent seen one in ages honestly.

  • wouldnt work because their current mode has an mmr system that isnt tight enough. It values speed over anything else really.

Casual modes can work as long as the mode that is ranked provides proper incentive to work. Thats why LoL unranked stuff works just fine.

First though, MMR system that they currently have needs expansion and way more variables it looks at in game rather than just escapes and kills. And it also needs to be extremely tight and have safe guards.

Waiting a bit longer to get into a game that will actually have evenly skilled players in multiple categories is better than what we currently have. Ill take people in a different region if it makes my games actually make sense on survivor.

  • Too easy still.

    No tunnel/camp/slug

People with low scores ran at me or tried weird head-ons and flashlights last night.

Was a really close match on a …. hadonfield which I misplayed like crazy. But still won.

    image.png image.png image.png image.png image.png image.png

Evidence that downvotes dont matter on this site. A nobody like me, a regular player can get 18 wins in a row and post data and still have detractors.

Killer is the easiest its ever been.

  • Currently have a few clips in my library of him spawning on the same side and corner of the map with his box. Kind of funny.

I dont know about worst state. Hard to say he seems…. fine? Middle of the road pretty B tier killer.

Think hes just about right barring any bugs.

I don’t even know what “slowdown perks” is suppose to mean. Every killer perk is a slowdown in some way. Every killer perk either directly or indirectly serves to keep survivors from completing their objective faster.

Anything else is not a slowdown perk

    @Nazzzak said:

I use one slowdown (Corrupt) and no regression. I mostly use chase perks as quick downs and hooks are my priority. My breaking gens milestone was at like step 8 by the time I finished my hooking survivors milestone. I find I just don't need the extra assistance in that area as the playstyle I've gravitated to (ie the one that naturally works for me) just doesnt need it. My biggest asset while playing killer is honestly my experience playing survivor, that helps more than any perk could. Diversifying my builds is something I've always done too because I honestly get bored playing the same stuff over and over anyway lol

Very good killers (for example from the comp or scrim realm) don't run aura perks because it is wasted perk slot for them. If you have good game sense you know what every survivor is probably doing right now, especially in a more restricted comp setting. I still play them because survivor behaviour in public matches can be quite unforeseen and it takes away some of the guessing.

Not even supa alf the guy who has 1163 consecutive wins in a row. Probably worlds best nurse, runs without aura read.

So if you can point out who you are talking about let me know

Running 4 slowdown perks on Nurse or Blight is definitely not meta.

Pop Goes The Weasel, Eruption (information + slowdown), and SH: Pain Resonance are the best perks to run on Blight and Nurse, they have the mobility to make amazing use of the perks and the information and slowdown from Eruption is actually insane when you consider how quickly your chases are and how easy it is to hold a tight Generator spread.

Personally, never needed to run Aura Reading on Blight or Nurse, their chase powers are insane and I dont really lose matches with the lack of Aura Reading. General game sense and knowing how to use the Killer's power goes a long way.

Where are you get this idea that anyone even runs 4 slowdowns as a perk loadout?

    Maybe from my matches?

    Maybe from social media?

Maybe from the infinite well of content creators that only use slowdown perks in their videos and streams?

I wouldnt be talking about it unless people were doing it.

Almost every Ghoul I go against uses Pain Res/DMS/Surge/Pop or Pain Res/DMS/Grim/Surge

No exaggeration, I wish it wasn't that common

Nurses and blights run at least 2 aura reads in general.

    Lethal + something else.

    Either NWTH or floods

Heres actual stats one what nurses and blights ACTUALLY are running at any consistent level of accuracy:

    Nurse:

    image.png

    Blight:

    image.png

As you can see its a pretty obvious pick with lethal on nearly every build. And you want to compliment that pick.

Blight without lethal or bbq is just a huge question mark in general.

And nurse with 0 aura read, you should be winning every single one of those matches against her. That is just someone who has no clue how to play nurse. And if the nurse is winning these matches…. then jeez thats a problem on the survivors end. You can just HARD stealth each time she kicks a generator.

Me personally I only run PR on nurse. Then its lethal/floods/agi talking like several hundred wins in a row and I am non-giga chad streamer or anything. Dont even play her seriously anymore either.

Definetely some brand new killers to the game if they are running 4 slow downs on nurse or blight. Or straight up cheaters as they are pretty horrific killers without some form of aura read. Nurse in particular. These ones are pretty easy to spot if they are doing it

  • Running 4 slowdowns on nurse or blight is definetely not meta.

I dont even know what the build would look like but it would be horrific having 0 aura read on both of those killers.

Where are you getting this idea that anyone even runs 4 slowdowns as a perk load out?

  • Back in 2v8 we met many players I had a mikaela teammate I was on a mission with and we stuck by eachother. I wasnt gonna let her die and she was not gonna let me die either ♥

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fgrtjmiWIU

To bad my stupid record keybinding went all wonky but I HAD TO clip that.

  • A game that has MMR-based matchmaking, a ranking system, years of balance patches, developer Q&As about perk/meta balance, and constant feedback loops with the community, that’s not a “casual” game at its core at all.

You don’t go through that much effort to maintain fairness and responsiveness if you’re building a chill party game.

It might not be truly competitive in the strictest esports sense (like CS or LoL), but it’s definitely intended to be competitive at its core. You dont have all this development and balance over the years on something that is "casual at its core"

So calling DBD a “casual game at its core” feels like rewriting the game’s own structure and trajectory. It’s asymmetrical PvP of course it invites competition. That’s literally the genre.

Examples of truly casual games with a pvp untertone are like.
    •Mario party mini games
    •Wii sports

If DBD were truly a “casual party game,” you wouldn’t have daily posts demanding perk nerfs, map reworks, or killer/survivor buffs. Casual games don’t live and die on meta shifts and patch notes. Its a live service PvP game, whether people want to admit it or not.

  • If its the event, which I avoid on survivor for the most part, gens were slower in my matches because of the totems and the chest. Its like 3500 points for each of those bad boys.

But maybe thats just MY matches because I am the one making gens go slower… I do/did have people walk around to get them though so no… event especially when the totem thing comes up is generally slower gens. People scramble for them things.

And people want to be there for every completed gen since you only get the event BP award by actually being on the generator when it completes.

  • Instant mori addons needed a yeet for the longest time.

Meyers basekit would have to come up obviously.

Unless they want to add a callout/chat system for soloQ there is no counter to it.

  • Uh… let me see last 10 matches….

    yup

The problem is Blight's power has a limit - as you get better and face better people, just running into them at Mach Ten doesn't cut it anymore; people can and do dodge you like a bull in a Toreador Ring. I've done this to MANY Blights, and even Kanekis. That's the big weakness of these dash and micro-based Killers; you make them whiff once and they whiff HARD. If you're just hoping for his power to save you "because it's oppressive and strong as hell" and you never back it up with the rest of your play being good, you will still be stomped nine ways 'til Sunday.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3965471#Comment_3965471

This is true. I think the issue comes when both the game and community themselves though INSISTS that the path to being considered "good" or "winning" is a 4k, all the time, always. And then the game punishes you for doing it too much by slapping you with stronger and stronger opponents that will knock you down a peg regardless of who you play as. Like, guarantee a ton of those Blights and Kanekis you see at high level play aren't actually that good; they're boosted and are probably having a rotten time. Playing a strong Killer doesn't save you from feeling like crap when you get a good team, and never will.

It also, contrary to popular belief, does NOT make it more likely you will win in sequence; those people who pulled off those crazy Blight streaks did it by playing the absolute sweatiest with tons of slowdown or aura. That isn't skilled play of those Killers, that's playing a basic M1 Killer with extra steps and a ton of slowdown. Anyone else who tried that was NOT streaking anywhere near as long, I promise you. The majority of other Killers too during the killstreak fad were hitting 50-100 games in a row even on the weakest Killers and not every Nurse and Blight was ever hitting the 1500+ streaks these streamers were; it was ONLY Nurse and Blight with specific playstyles and builds going on those streaks.

This is what I'm talking about when I say that the new Killer experience suffers sometimes but nobody seems to care. It's not "anxiety" in the clinical sense, people are not scared of playing Killer. The problem is the pressure to perform and look good without being made fun of if you lose, which let's face it… some Survivor players REALLY like to do. I have had slurs, death wishes, and general horrible treatment thrown at me even if I lose, all because Surv players are generally miserable right now and need to take it out on SOMEONE. It's really that bad. In comparison I can count the number of times a Killer has been a miserable little jerk to my friends and I on one hand. It's a big issue, and it contributes to this anxiety.

That's what bullies do when they feel insecure, they whine and bully to make YOU feel as bad as they do. And often, it hits the least skilled newest players of all. Killer is always a lonely role (unless you're playing an AI Killer or something), so the feeling of several Survs backed up by their friends all mocking YOU specifically for not performing well enough or doing something they deem unfair? Even when you DC out of justified frustration? Even when you simply go stand in the corner and wait, or open the gate for them to leave, or they aren't ACTUALLY mocking you but you feel like they are? Well. It grates. It gets to you after a while. It hurts. You might brush it off or learn to ignore it but the effects are still there, and eventually you just get tired of chasing the same sweaty builds over and over and over and you burn out because it isn't fun anymore. You grow paranoid and soon easily believe ALL Survs are mocking you in secret. And that just isn't a fun feeling.

Because try as some people might to dismiss those feelings in others, even if you don't react… that feeling still hurts a bit. It still gets under your skin and sits in your brain. It's actually psychologically painful and, if actual harassment is involved, even actively harmful. There's actually studies on both ladder anxiety in gaming and how online harassment in gaming can cause psychological effects that can damage a person, this stuff is real.

The other thing that causes this anxiety? The game itself. The game encourages always playing to 3-4k. The game gives increasingly better results in the endscreen for killing more Survivors. The community as a whole has taken 3k+ = win to its logical conclusion and actively blames any player who cannot meet that consistently. But, it isn't always the player's fault if they lose. Sometimes the map is bad, sometimes their perks were outmatched, sometimes the other side was simply BETTER. But the community always seems to infer "lose more = less skill" when these players ask for some reassurance, so of course they feel left out and like they're the problem.

After a while all this pressure to perform and bad experience with Survivors that actually DID mock them for losing, it takes a toll. Some quit. Some play less frequently. Some chase an endless dragon of 4ks they cannot possibly keep forever. If they stay long enough and find their niche they grow out of it. But the fact it occurs AT ALL and then when they go "hey this feels bad" people in the community dogpile them for it? Shameful. Just shameful, no wonder Killer players sometimes doubt their own abilities, grow a perfectionist complex, and play sweaty. Both the game and the community go out of their way to try and scare Killer players off by any means it can.

The problem is the pressure to perform and look good without being made fun of if you lose, which let's face it… some Survivor players REALLY like to do.

This is not just survivors that do this. This is killers as well. You need hump videos? Killers still do it today. GGEZ they still do it, threats and general over the top ____ yourself as well.

This is not relegated to only coming from survivors.

Ive had survivors gang up on other survivors as well in terms of "performance and looking good" and had to defend them from themselves as killer lol.

Its not this whole only killer is getting bullied by survivors story. I have footage and ticket submissions of this as well.

In comparison I can count the number of times a Killer has been a miserable little jerk to my friends and I on one hand.

Not my experience. Not the friend part of this, I play soloQ only. But there is a pretty even split from what I can tell from the "miserable little jerk" perspective on who is saying what to whom.

Obviously there is 4 survivors and 1 killer per match.

So you have to math this as a 1:1 ratio for each interaction.

Killer is always a lonely role (unless you're playing an AI Killer or something), so the feeling of several Survs backed up by their friends all mocking YOU specifically for not performing well enough or doing something they deem unfair?

Lonely role? Thats an odd way to describe your situation when you are against several opponents. Like you arent the "victim" in your matches as a role.

This is a pvp game its not that deep. When you 3v1 or 2v1 in games or sports you dont describe yourself as "lonely".

I dont call MJ "lonely" when he charges the rim 3v1 and breaks through guards and STILL scores.

Im not sure why you are using "lonely" when describing killer play in an asymmetrical video game. Its a very victim and depressing way of describing something.

No one should be harassed, I’ve reported people myself.

You have a couple options though:

    1) if playing Killer for you or whomever this is describing ; is causing that much anxiety and pain. Like real world mental health reactions at THIS level, it might be time to take a break.

You have to set boundaries in these kinds of things. Not re-feed them and blow it off like it wont happen again, it WILL happen again, its a PVP online videogame. There is no perfect online game or perfect report system. Thats just the reality of things.

And again, this is not just survivors, I have had a pretty even split of this kind of stuff come from both sides.

Report anything over the top that is beyond game taunting; and then move on to the next match.

    2) Another option you have that fixes most of this is just closing the chat. Problem solved you dont even see it. Its available to everyone.

Last though and kind of important:

If someone is that emotionally shaken by how strangers in a video game perceive them, it’s worth stepping back and asking:

Why do you care so much?

Unless you’re trying out for a pro team or entering tournaments, this is a hobby.

Videogames are supposed to be fun, not a defining characteristic on your self-worth. If you’re not having fun anymore, that’s your mind telling you to reassess what you're doing and why.

  • Been using one almost every game yea.

Cant really run out of them. Had them long before this even though just something I stockpiled for awhile and went "am I going to use these at any point?"

  • I dont think it needs anything done to it currently. Think its a great perk and has its correct limitations.

Obviously this means we should nerf pig, lol. If they wanted to do a quitters queue instead of a time out, I'd be all for that too. Was just curious if there'd be enough killers to actually make it work. Would be ironic if instead of a 10 minute time out, ppl got a 1 hour queue time instead.

Id imagine a quitters que "low priority que" would be the answer. The penalty you get already for matchmaking on DC is pretty consistent. Getting it too high without addressing some of the very obvious why's around the top tier killers would be a bit too much I suspect.

Sidenote btw... I dont play nearly as much survivor as I do killer, so maybe I just dont see it. Do killers regularly DC in your matches? If your gonna have a separate queue for griefers and quitters, you'd need people to fill both roles. Obviously there's 4x more survivors, but there seems to me to be way more than 4x the amount of survivor QUITTING.

Its a once or twice every 12 game sort of thing. I think I got out of low MMR hell awhile ago and am getting consistent soloQ matches. (Hitting 5-6 escapes in a row quite consistently hit a 8 in a row a couple days ago) Somewhere in the 60-70%?? win rate as well

Edit: Its a bit unbelievable but ill post it here just for any detractors:
    meant 8 in a row

    image.png image.png image.png image.png

Took a long break and came back only in the last like 1.5 weeks. Will see how the 30 day stats end up.

Survivors DC still…. regularly and its honestly relegated to matches like this. Where they will just flatout DC if they see a nurse, blight, kaneki, or a security door.

I did have one dc against a pig game, which funny enough I posted about and the bot that remained actually got out by DHing her lol. It was a 4 out in the end so that was funny.

DCs for survivors in my game are pretty relegated to the top tier killers at the moment. Which hey they were punished at least.

For sure they can continue changing the game to try to make it better. Im MOSTLY talking about the idea of "we should find out WHY ppl DC instead of punishing DCing" isn't a good approach. We can do both. Ppl have proven for 9 years that no matter how many changes happen, they'll still DC, so holding off on punishment until the game gets to the perfect state of balance just means the punishment will never come.

But there are systems that many games put in place that prevent stuff like I am talking about in my OP.

LoL has all of these. With detection software that analyzes thousands of games through replays of player behavior they have. The honor system rewards positive players. And placing leavers and throwers in their own que in low prio

Theres stuff we can do furthering a system around giving up clearly.

Reasons for it are definetely another route, noone wants to play an unbalanced mess of a match. Still dishing out punishment (like in my OP) Kaneki is absolutely god awful to face, as are most of the "top-tier" killers because what makes the "top-tier" is around the fact that they are just unbalanced messes or unfair (in most cases).

Im actually NOT drifting off topic. My point was that they DO address things that are complained about, which never leads to people going "yup, we can stop DCING now". Its always ANOTHER reason to give up. The list of reasons to give up never shrinks no matter how much gets addressed. They've been trying to address WHY people "go next" since 2016, and it doesnt stop people from doing it.

But that sounds like a reason to keep working on the problem, not to stop. Your message comes off as "well we tried so I dont see a point in going anymore"

Thats …. giving up on hook lol. Lets get away from that mindset

Saying, “people always find another reason to go next” doesn’t mean we should just throw up our hands and accept it. That’s the whole point of game balance and behavior systems, they’re ongoing, not one and done fixes.

No one system is ever going to solve 100% of frustration or griefing, but that’s not a reason to stop further changes. It’s a reason to keep developing them. Or continued balancing.

Players finding new workarounds to disengage (like refusing heals, baiting killer attention, intentionally throwing) just shows that current systems aren’t fully addressing the motivations behind that behavior. That’s not an argument against fixing it, it’s a reminder that behavior systems need further development, just like balance does.

  • I am holding firm that currently this guy just has too much given to him in his kit.

Teleport with no meaningful cooldown or obvious tell, you can actually scare your teammates by traveling them. Positioned next to or closeby hooks as well or too many of them …

… or all the above honestly.

Undetectable base as a ranged killer….

A ranged killer that has full movement speed

A mechanic that forces you to give him back his power or you give up a free grab/location of where you are

Only for a full MS ranged killer to just hit you again….so you gave up a hatchet in your back… to take another easy one

Its currently too much given, and nothing taken from him.

Something(multiple things) needs to be looked at just from a base kit perspective on this killer.

The current counterplay to him is "dont get spotted/be efficient on generators"

Cameras you cant really interact with on most maps. And even if you do, you are leaving yourself vulnerable to a grab. Youd have to have like a coldwind map like rotten fields to ever really bother touching them. And even then its just too long for someone to be off a generator with this guys current lack of meaningful counterplay.

    Afew things...

The reduction of her blinks started back on patch 1.1.2 which was 2016, which was why I listed it first. There was a second nerf to it in 2019 though. The cooldown complaint was that she didnt have the charges mechanic she does now, so after the fatigue... she'd have full blinks ready.

Seriously, if you check her patch history, its one of the longest in the game covered in nerfs or bug fixes... which is kind of the point. People still make threads titled things like "Why dont they ever nerf Nurse".

I never said anything about when it started or stopped. I just gave one point where she had blinks reduced.

Her cooldown though was never touched.

Seriously, if you check her patch history, its one of the longest in the game covered in nerfs or bug fixes... which is kind of the point. People still make threads titled things like "Why dont they ever nerf Nurse".

This is a bit off topic from the post now so, lets keep this discussion about the topic on behavior in game, and less about nurse balance, as this is not really related to the thread.

There was no step wise "and everything will be fine" after any change really made to this game. This post alone doesnt even have that message underneath or expressed anywhere.

Changes happen as changes are needed. Updates to balance are never done with the idea that they will never have to happen or needed again, they are reactionary to a lot of things in game.

New perks come out, map changes, killer additions, gameplay changes, perk behavior or strength changes, problematic playstyles or workarounds even in light of those changes(this thread)

All warrant further work be done on them.
